Chapter 32:Beach Bungalow
"YO, PASS THE BALL OVER HERE!" Said a fox.
It was a nice warm summer day at the beach. The water was cool, the sand was warm, seagulls flying everywhere as the sun shined brightly across Emerald Coast Beach. Music was booming with teens everywhere because today was the celebration of the two hedgehogs non other than Sonic and Shadow. An official month had passed since school had ended for everyone and summer break had officially started. Everything from everyone was mostly forgotten and forgiven. Mostly.
"Okay, here it comes." Said a cute pink dog passing the volley ball to her friend laughing.
...
"Come on Amy."
"No! I refuse to come out wearing this." She said from the stall.
For nearly a half hour the six main girls of our story have been trying to convince Amy she looked good in her swimsuit and to get out of the stall in the bathroom. Being as insecure and nervous as she was she keep refusing giving them a hard time.
"Come on Amy, we're all wearing cute swim suits like you!"Cream said as she was wearing a cream bikini with fluffy orange trimming. Both her big bunny ears were tied up in a bun.
"Yeah she's right." Tikal added. She was wearing a light blue and white bikini with a skirt. The top part was white and the skirt was short stopping at mid thigh which was light blue. Her long dreads flowed beautifully down her back.
"Your not the only one Amy. When Knuckles sees me in this hun...I can't imagine the things he will think and WILL do to me." Rouge said smirking. She had on a black bikini that fit her in all the right places. Her breast were to big for the top part exposing her nipples which she wanted. The bottom bikini part was showing a bit of her butt fitting her hips just right making her look irresistible.
Cosmo had on a cute green one piece that exposed her back and cleavage a lot and Blaze wore a black bikini top with black swim shorts. Her hair was in a big pony tail and Cosmos hair was put in two long braids.
"Come on Amy, it's not that big a deal." Cosmo said calmly.
"Ok that's it!" Rouge obviously had enough and crawled under the stall grabbing the pink hedgehog.
"NO ROUGE!" The stall door opened reviling Amy as the girls gasped.
She looked beautiful. She was in a white bikini that fit her in all the right places. The top part was all white with thin black trimming exposing most of her breast and had a gold ring in the middle of it. As for the bottom part it was also all white with black trimming and had gold rigs on each side of her thighs. Her hair was in wavy beach curls that flowed down her back beautifully. To top it all off she was wearing a bit of mascara and eye liner with a hint of lip gloss giving her a nice finish.
"You look HOT." Blaze said as the girls looked her up and down causing her to blush.
"T-thanks." She mustered up.
"Just wait till Shadow sees you." Rouge said making her blush even more.
Amy tried to go back in the stall but Rouge linked arms with her on her right side while Blaze linked arms with her on her left.
"Nope. Your going outside so stop hiding in that shell of yours and BREAK OUT." Rouge yelled as the girls laughed.
Amy sighed in defeat.
All the girls were right. She was gonna have to come out one way or another weather she liked it or not. And it's not the fact that she wants to show her body to Shadow (Been there done that ;) ) but she feels uncomfortable showing her goods to other guys and shes a little nervous of how Shadow will take it seeing other guys stare at her body. Oh, what is she to do?
"Okay, let's go." Amy said making the girls smile.
Rouge linked arms with Tikal who also linked arms with Cream while on the left side Blaze linked arms with Cosmo.
"Lets do this." Cream said as all six girls exited the bathroom.
"Where are they?" Knuckles said as he flattened out him and Rouge's towel on the sandy floor beneath him.
There waiting for the girls on the sand near the ocean was Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Espio, Charmy and Shadow.
"From what I got from Tikal the girls are trying to cox Amy to come out of the bathroom stall." Espio said calmly in a meditating position on his towel with his eyes closed. The sun didn't bother him as much since he placed him and Tikal under a large umbrella.
"Hmph." Is what Shadow said while crossing his arms.
He was the only guy there with a shirt on. If he took it off he knew girls would gawk at him and Amy would be furious so he decided to keep it on. Another thing about those two. They knew each other so well and both are easy to get angry and jealous; but jealousy is all a good sign of a relationship. Right?
"Hey birthday boy." A feminine voice said.
Shadow turned around to see Lupe and Maria.
Lupe was in gold swim shorts in a bikini top showing off her cleavage well with her hair in one big braid. Maria on the other hand was in a blue bikini with her hair down. She had a very busty figure which caused random guys to whistle and Shadow to blush.
"T-thanks Lupe." He mustered up hugging the wolf.
He turned to Maria with a tent of red on his cheeks.
"Happy birthday...Shadowkin." She winked then went to hug him.
Shadow smiled hugging her back. He turned his head a little noticing the guys giving him confused looks.
"Look guys I-" Shadow was cut off in mid sentence still holding Maria.
"DAMN! CHECK THOSE BABES OUT." A random guy shouted as Shadow and the guys instantly turned the heads.
"Woah...it's the girls." Tails said staring at Cream in particular.
There were the girls. Amy, Rouge, Cream, Blaze, Tikal and Cosmo with linked arms catching the attention of many guys making their ways towards Shadow and the others.
"Damn..." Knuckles said licking his lips while staring at Rouge like a predator with his eyes on it's prey.
"Hello boys." Rouge said as they finally made their way to the guys.
"Hi sweetie."Tikal kissed Espio on the cheek.
"Wow...you guys look great." Silver said blushing as Blaze came over kissing him on the cheek.
"Thanks." Cosmo said while holding Charmy (who was blushing heavily) in her chest.
Amy stood there looking at Shadow...who was STILL holding Maria.
Shadow realized he was still holding Maria then quickly released her and walked over to Amy hugging her around the waist.
"Amy I-" Amy cut Shadow off by kissing him.
"Shadow, Maria's a friend. It's cool." She said as he stroked her face smiling.
Maria looked at Lupe then to Shadow and smiled at the cute couple.
Everything seemed fine up until...
Blaze looked over her shoulder.
She noticed Maria's presence then growled.
"What are YOU doing here." She hissed showing her sharp cat teeth and luckily Silver held her back from doing anything.
Blaze's outburst made the other girls look at Maria.
Rouge narrowed her eyes then flew over angrily towards Maria making her fall in the sand.
" GO AWAY." Rouge growled balling her fist. This action made Knuckles immediately get up and restrain her.
"I just came to say-" Maria tried to say softly.
"I don't care! Beat it, I beat Mina up years ago and I won't be afraid to beat your ass too." Rouge hissed showing her sharp bat fangs.
Maria just narrowed her eyes knowing she couldn't talk to any of the girls. She was about to stand up and leave until a pair of strong hands helped her up wrapping around her shoulders.
"No ones fighting anybody." A voice said.
Maria turned around to her savior to see Scourge with a angry look on his face along with Tony who had two big beach bags in his hands. He growled wrapping his hands around Maria's waist as everyone had confused looks on their faces except for Amy, Lupe, Scourge and of course Maria.
Rouge was a little taken back by this action.
"Scourge...What the hell are you doing defending her?" Rouge hissed making Knuckles tighten his grip on her.
"She's my girlfriend." He growled as everyone gasped other than Amy and Lupe who looked at each other and seemed unfazed. Blaze noticed their looks to each other but didn't say anything.
"WHAT?!" Shadow roared angrily taking a step forward.
Amy raised an eyebrow at her angry boyfriend. Yes, she knew he would surprised but she didn't think he would react this way. Dose he still have feelings for her...?
Amy shook the feeling off. But feeling all the tension she felt the need to say something.
"Um...guys..." Amy tried to talk but was cut off.
"YOU GO WITH HER?!" Rouge now had steam coming out of her nose baring her fangs.
"Guys..." Amy tried again.
"YES! Problem?" Scourge yelled with the same amount of anger in his voice.
"Uh YEAH, shes a problem. Scourge what the hell are you thinking!?" Rouge spat at him
"Im thinking Maria has changed and I like her. Shes my babe and I love her." To show they were truly together he suddenly licked her neck then buried half of his face in it smirking at Rouge while Maria was blushing heavily.
Rouge's anger was growing even more.
Amy felt Shadows fist tighten glaring at Scourge. She was a bit taken back at this action.
Maria glared at Rouge."And I love him."
"Shut it blonde." She managed to slip her right fist from Knuckles and tried to swing at Maria but Scourge caught her fist easily.
"Im not afraid to hit a female Rouge." Scourge said as he gently pushed Maria back who looked frigthen.
That made Knuckles snap gently pushing Rouge back as well.
"You'll regret it." Knuckles balled his fist prepared to fight.
Cream watched the whole thing feeling the tension from everyone and decided enough was enough.
"EVERYBODY,SHUT UP!" Cream stood up roared as everybody stopped doing what they were doing and looked at her.
Silence.
Cream sighed in relief.
"Ok now...Knuckles you and Rouge take six steps back." Cream pointed towards the angered couple who did exactly what she said.
"Now, Scourge and Maria take a step back and Lupe step to the side." All three did what she said.
"Now everybody take a deep breath and slowly breath out." She pointed to Amy. "And Amy has been trying to say something for the longest, so she'll be the first to talk." Cream finished plopping herself down beside Tails who smiled at her.
"Ok." Amy slowly breathed in and out then looked at Maria and began to slowly walk towards her and Scourge.
"Okay...at first I was gonna tell everyone to calm down but..." Amy sighed then continued speaking."I think it's time you guys knew the truth about some things."
Amy looked at Scourge and Maria who gave her worried looks.
"Why don't you start off with Maria and Scourge since you seemed so unfazed about it." Blaze said crossing her arms.
Amy nodded."Well..." Scrouge put a hand on Amy's shoulder smiling.
"I got this princess." He winked at her.
He looked at everyone. "Okay so here's how it went down. Maria came back and I didn't think I was the least bit interested in her. I mean I've known this girl since we were kids and we were good friends back when I dated...her." He hissed referring to Mina. "Anyways back in like April I noticed Maria a lot and how she changed and well...I stared falling for her." He blushed rubbing the back of his head.
"I didn't think I would really fall for anyone knowing me but..." He looked over to Amy. "Amy has changed me into a better man and I stared realizing it was time to stop being a play boy and get focused." He paused looking at Amy who was smiling then at Maria who narrowed her eyes smiling as well.
"So back when I took Amy to the fair a month ago Maria just happened to be with Lupe there and we spent the day together." Maria smiled stepping up to Scourge grabbing his hand. He locked eyes with her.
"Somehow Amy manged to put me and Maria in the tunnel of love." He snickered. "And we confessed to each other. Now I love her and shes the most precious thing to me." He grabbed her by the waist pulling her close to him making heavy eye contact with her.
"I love you Maria." He grinned while blushing showing his passionate said.
A tear slipped out from her right eye as she smiled putting her hands in Scourges chest.
"I love you too Scourge."
Everyone looked at them in disbelief after hearing Scourges explanation.
"Wow...Scourge has a heart." Silver said putting a hand on his heart making everyone laugh.
Amy stepped in. "I wanted to tell you guys before but...im really good friends with Maria. She really has changed and I think for the better. I think you guys should give her a second chance. She's no Mina and she wants to make things right...if Shadow can forgive her I think you guys can too." Amy looked at Scourge and Maria who were smiling at her.
"Please. If not for me do it for my boyfriend who happens to be the birthday boy." Amy walked over to Shadow who was smiling at her.
Everyone fell silent.
"Im down." Everyone looked at the source of the voice which was non other than Cream who was smiling at Maria.
"If Amy believes shes changed then I believe she has too. Im willing to be friends with you Maria." Cream said smiling as Tails nodded.
"Me too." Cosmo and Tikal both said.
"Even tough what you did was wrong..." Cosmo started.
"Everyone deserves a second chance." Tikal finished as both girls smiled a Maria who nodded.
Amy looked at Rouge with puppy dog eyes. Rouge sighed in defeat then showed a smile to Maria.
"If Amy says you've changed then...I believe her and will pass on her judgement. I forgive you." Rouge said as Maria was in tears.
All that was left was Blaze who was looking out into the ocean.
Sensing all the eyes on her she turned and looked at everyone then stopped on Shadow who was giving her a pleading looked.
She sighed then looked at Maria.
"I...I forgive...you Maria." Blaze said with a half smile.
Everyone was stunned by the next sudden action.
Maria ran up to Blaze hugging her tightly.
Blaze stood still not moving at all. That is until she looked at Silver who gestured for her to hug Maria back.
Blaze smiled hugging the blonde hedgehog back.
"Thank you..." She said softly letting go of Blaze who whipped her tears.
"Well now that were all friends and what not...lets go have fun." Lupe said pumping her fists.
"Yeah!" Tony agreed with her.
Both Tony and Lupe made eye contact.
Lupe looked at him then blushed seeing how gorgeous he was.
He looked at from head to toe giving her a seductive look.
"H-hi." She stuttered looking at him.
"Hey." He said grinning.
Maria smirked never seeing her best friend attracted to Tony before.
Everyone now started their own conversations.
Shadow put a hand on Amy's shoulder who was looking down in the sand. She instantly looked up at him to see him smirking.
"I wanna take you somewhere." He whispered grabbing her hand.
She nodded without saying a word then walking off with him.
"HEY-" Rouge was about to protest when Espio shook his head grabbing her shoulder.
"They have to take care of some things." He finished as Rouge and the others looked over at the two hedgehogs.
Espio was the only one really paying attention to Shadow and Amy's actions throughout the whole ordeal and the way Shadow acted...he just knew they needed to talk.
Amy and Shadow were hand in hand walking on the beach silently. After what just happened Amy felt a bit...awkward being around Shadow at this moment. Jealously is a good thing but when your that furious with your ex being with someone...not cool.
"Amy." Shadow said making Amy stop dead in her tracks.
Shadow knelled down in front of her wrapping his hands around her hips.
"I-...im sorry for my actions back there." Amy looked at him in shock.
Shadow apologizing.
"Shadow..." Amy whispered.
"I acted way out of line and I shouldn't have." He tightened his grip around her looking straight into her eyes.
"It's just the thought of her and...Scourge...being together. It's very new to me and im sure i'll get use to it soon enough but...im so sorry and I hope you can forgive me. I don't have feelings for Maria anymore..the only one I love is you and only you and im sorry." He said pressing his forehead against her abdomen.
Amy smiled and bent down making him look up at her.
I can't really blame him nor stay mad...I love him too much.
"Shadow your so silly." She smiled as he looked at her in shock and confusion.
"I already know that you silly goose. I really don't care if you still have a little feelings for her. I know your heart belongs to me so no need to apologize...Shaddie AND take your shirt off. Your killing me!" She demanded standing up.
Shadow chuckled as he narrowed his eyes standing up as well.
"I-ugh I give up." Shadow put his hands up thus removing his shirt. His upper toned body made Amy practically drool.
Shadow stood back now finally getting a good look at Amy.
She look stunning as he looked her from head to toe.
Amy blushed furiously looking away.
"I told I'd look sexy." Amy said looking at him.
"Yeah...you certainly are." He said walking closer to her.
He wrapped his hands around her waist kissing her.
A cough was heard interrupted the two.
Both looked to see the blue hedgehog himself, Sonic.
"Uh...Amy, can we talk." Amy looked at him stunned.
Here stood Sonic with a hand behind his neck asking to talk. The same guy who lied and cheated on her...
She looked at Shadow who smiled at her walking away.
"Wa...Shadow." Amy sighed looking at Sonic who looked rather nervous.
Amy sighed. "Your lucky it's your birthday hedgehog." Amy said as Sonic smiled.
"Yes." Sonic grabbed her hand heading towards the tiki bar.
Both sat down as Sonic ordered two drinks for them.
Sonic looked at Amy smiling.
"Okay..." He took a deep breath.
Here we go...
Amy looked at him curiously tilting his head.
"Look Amy I-" He was cut off.
"Here's your drinks." The guy behind the bar cut Sonic off.
"Uh thanks." Sonic said as he returned his gaze to Amy.
"Anyways Amy...I know you might still hate me and I've said this a million times but I want us to be friends again and." he paused.
"Im sor-" Amy cut him off smiling at him.
"Oh Sonic...that's all in the past. EVEN THOUGH what you did was wrong." She sharpened her voice making him shiver.
"I forgive you." She said softly.
He's lucky im so forgiving...and that I still love the fool. Forgive and forget...
The next thing Sonic knew Amy was hugging him.
Sonic smiling hugging her back.
"BUT." She raised her voice releasing Sonic. "Im not the one you should be apologizing too." Amy said as Sonic tilted his head in confusion.
"Huh." Amy chuckled.
"If anything you need to make up with Sally and go apologize to her."
Sonic put his head down.
"I know..."
Amy looked over her shoulder.
Speak of the devil...
"Hey Sally. Sonic wants to talk to you."
Sally was wearing a red and blue bikini with her hair in a pony tail.
Sally made her way to the tiki bar. Amy let Sally have her seat next to Sonic.
"You guys need to work things out. As for me I need to go find a red and black hedgehog of mine." Amy smiled walking away.
"Uh...Sally." Sonic said blushing.
"Sonic..." She said blushing as well.
Amy walked away from the bar in search of Shadow to find him standing in the water letting the breeze flow through his quills.
He looked stunning.
A wicked smile came upon Amys face as she silently walked up to him.
"Boo." She suddenly jumped on his back making both of them fall in the water.
Amy resurfaced laughing.
"Shadow..." He did not surface making her worried.
"Boo." He pooped up pulling Amy in the water with him.
They both resurfaced laughing.
Amy laughed the hardest wringing out her hair.
Shadow stared at her.
Im so lucky to have her. I love her so much and shes so damn beautiful. I couldn't ask for anything more...
Shadow though not realizing he was staring directly at her.
Amy splashed water in his face cutting him from his thoughts.
"W-what." He said whipping water from his face.
"You were staring creep." Amy swam to him wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Oh, sorry I was just thinking."
"About what?" She said curiously.
"You." He nuzzled her nose.
"Hmm." She kissed his cheek.
"Your so sweet Shaddie." Amy grinned.
Shadow sighed picking her up and throwing her in the water.
"SHADOW!" Amy laughed falling in the water as Shadow smirked triumphantly.
Amy poop back up dragging him in the water with her.
"Their so cute." Many passing people said.
Many hours have passed by as nighttime was making its appearance. Most people were out the water and dancing with their friends having a good time. As for Shadow and Amy, her and Shadow were talking with Tails and Cream aside from the dance crazy people. Shadow and Amy had took a shower and changed into more comfortable clothes.
"You guys are so cute. Im so happy for you!" Cream exclaimed taking a sip of her drink.
"Aww shucks Cream, your making me blush." Amy felt her face heat up.
"It's true though. Aren't they Tails?" Cream asked elbowing Tails in the shoulder who was having a separate conversation with Shadow.
"What?" Tails questioned looking at the girls.
"Aren't they a cute couple?" Cream questioned as Tails nodded.
"Yeah they are." Tails nodded.
Shadow grinned giving Cream a 'Thank you'.
"HEY BIRTHDAY, COME DANCE." Knuckles said approaching the four with Rouge by his side.
"Yeah, just one dance."Rouge said.
"In a minute!" Amy said excitedly as the other four nodded headed towards the dance floor.
Amy adjusted her shoes then looked at Shadow who was staring at her.

"Care to dance?" He raised an eyebrow grinning.
All day he has been waiting to dance with Amy and how could she refuse to his request.
A gush of wind passed them blowing into their quills.
Amy smiled. "Yes." She reassured him.
Amy giggled taking her hand in his heading towards the large dancing crowd.
Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere

They headed into the center of the crowd where most people were. They stopped as Shadow grabbed her fit waist slipping his strong hands around it. Amy blushed as she wrapped her hands around his neck. Many people centered around the birthday boy and his girl dancing to the beat.

Amy felt a tap on her back to see Silver, Blaze, and everyone else crowed around her and Shadow dancing. Al their closest friends dancing with them. She giggled as she turned to Shadow seeing him smiling at her and their friends.

Amy unconnected with Shadow as she, Rouge and the girls formed a circle dancing with each other laughing as the guys watched them dance. Suddenly Sally and Sonic came through the crowed to see Amy and the girls dancing. Amy looked at Sally and gestured for her to come into the group. Sally nodded as she joined the circle dancing next to Amy. The girls looked at Amy curiously who was smiling at Sally. The girls shrugged looking at Sally smiling who smiled back.
To my homegirls here with the big butts

Scourge, Maria and Tony who had his hands around Lupe joined the group. Amy smiled at them telling them to join the circle as well. Both wolf and blonde hedgehog smiled joining the circle of girls. The guys formed their own circle as well dancing and having a good time right next to the girls.

Rouge stopped dancing as an idea popped in her head. She whispered something to Cream and the girls who smirked then whispered something to Knuckles as he nodded whispering something to the guys.

The girls suddenly pushed Amy as the guys pushed Shadow. Shadow immediately caught Amy by the waist as she put her hands on his muscular chest. Lips just inches apart. Everyone smiled at them. Both blushed then smiled looking up at each other.

Shadow leaned in to kiss Amy but was stopped when she put a finger on his lips.
"Sorry Shadow but I gotta get ready." She whispered in his ear then disappeared into the crowd noticing Rouge disappearing into the crowd with her.
Shadow tilted his head feeling his hormones raging.
"Go...go where?" He said putting a hand on his head.
Damn hormones...
He was about to rush after her until he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey Shadz." It was the sexy fox himself Tony.
"Tony?" Tony grinned taking him out the crowd and to the tiki bar.
"Two pineapple drinks please." Tony said as the girl behind the bar nodded and began to make the drink.
Tony looked over to Shadow who looked confused and chuckled.
Shadow looked up to see his friend and eyed him strangely.
"What's so funny?" Shadow question.
"Oh nothing." The drinks had arrived.
"Thanks Carrie." Tony said taking a sip of his drink.
"No problem and happy birthday Shadow." She winked at him then left taking some else's order.
Shadow nodded then eyed Tony strangely taking a sip of his as well.
Tony looked over to Shadow and smiled. "So birthday boy, how's the party?"
"It's going good. Except for that fact I can't find my girlfriend anywhere." He said receiving another chuckle from Tony.
Tony pulled something out of his pocket.
"Happy birthday Shadz." It was a rectangular silver box with a red ribbon.
Shadow looked at Tony who was smiling then opened it.
He smiled receiving a silver cross necklace from his perverted crazy best friend.
"Thanks man." Shadow slipped it around his neck.
"No problem man and looks good on you." Shadow nodded then smirked.
"So...you and Lupe. I see you guys are hitting it off." He pointed to the grey wolf who was dancing with the girls on the dance floor.
"Yeah...She's not like other girls i'll tel you that." Shadow snickered as Tony blushed looking away.
"Oh." Tony grinned pulling something else from his pocket.
"Here." Tony gave him an envelope then walked away.
Shadow watched his friend walk back into the crowed then eyed the envelope curiously.
He opened it seeing writing in it.
Dear Shadow,
If your reading this then Tony successfully did his job.

He smirked putting the letter in his pocket then heading up to the empty guest house up the hill.
He sped up there in the blink of an eye entering the house noticing Rouge flying in the sky back to the beach.
What are they up to... He thought then shook his head.
He was about to turn on the light when he found another note on the light switch.
He opened the note up.
Dear Shadow,
You prize awaits you upstairs.
I'll be waiting...

Shadow smirked as he began to walk upstairs.
The hallway was completely dark and with his sensitive nose he smelled the scent of candles. He noticed only one room lite up.
He paused, then opened the door to see a candle lite room with a large king size bed with no one in it.
He stepped in more then realized he wasn't alone.
The door suddenly closed which made him turn around to see a figure.
"Hello Shadow..." Amy stepped from the darkness.
Shadows eyes widened.
Amy was wearing noting but black lacy lingerie undergarments. Her hair was curled and her make up consisted of silver eye shadow, black mascara, black eye liner and clear lips gloss. She smelled of Victoria secret love spell making Shadow go crazy.
"A-Amy." He choked as she stepped closer stroking his cheek.
"I...wow...you look amazing." Shadow said looking at her from head to toe as she blushed.
"T-thanks." She said timidly looking down.
Shadow sensed her nervousness putting a finger on her chin making her look up at him.
"Amy... You don't have to do this for m-" She cut him off.
"NO." Her out burst made him step back.
"I..." Amy sighed as she sat down on the bed.
Shadow narrowed his eyes giving her a soft look as he sat down beside her.
"I..." She looked up at Shadow who was giving her a concerned look.
"I didn't know what to give you as a present so I asked Rouge and she said the best present to give you...was me." She finished looking away.
She felt very guilty and stupid for letting Shadow see her like this a ruining the present.
"Im sorry if om being a baby right now." She covered her cleavage with her arms.
He didn't say anything which was making her worry and stood up making her full out worried.
Amy was about to cry until he turned around giving her soft look.
He gently planted his lips on hers then bent down taking her hands in his. He looked up at her smiling putting his head on her thighs.
"So let me get this straight." He said while locking eyes with her.
"You thought that giving yourself to me would make a good birthday present?" He asked.
Amy slowly nodded.
"Amy," He paused. "the best present that you could give me is knowing that you love me. As long as I know that then it's all I need. Just say it." Amy smiled cupping her hands on the sides of his face.
"Well then Shadow. I love you...and I always will." She said planting a sweet kiss on his lips.
A soft purr came from his throat as he pinned her to the bed and began tickling her.
"S-SHADOW *laugh* S-STOP." She pleaded laughing uncontrollably.
He stopped looking at her smiling.
"I love you rose... I always will and forever." He said looking down at her.
"And I love you Shadow. I always will and forever." She looked up at him.
Everything went silent.
A couple of hours have past now. It was past midnight and many of the guest have left. Sonic, Sally, Rouge, Knuckles, Silver, Blaze, Cream, Tails, Charmy, Cosmo, Espio, Tikal, Maria, Scourge, Tony and Lupe were all in Sonic's beach house waiting for Shadow and Amy to arrive. Sonic usually lets his closest friends stay the night and now the cake was ready for the candles to be blown. But of course that can't happen with the other birthday boy missing.
"Where the hell is Shadow?" Silver asked impatiently while tapping his foot.
"Yeah im ready for some cake." Charmy said rubbing his tummy as everyone laughed.
"I think I have a pretty good idea." Rouge said as she glanced at Tony who smirked at her.
Knuckles saw their glances and raised an eyebrow.
"I'll go get them." Rouge said stepping out the house.
"WAIT, im coming too." Cream said.
"Me too." Knuckles added in joining the two girls.
"Okay, be right back." Rouge said as the three left.
All three walked on the cool sand looking up at the stars.
"It's really pretty tonight." Rouge said to herself oblivious to the other conversation going on.
She was too busy staring at the ocean as the full moon gave it a beautiful glow.
"OH...where are they." Cream said along side Knuckles crossing her arms.
"I dunno. I just know we need the other birthday boy with everybody else." Knuckles said in search of the two hedgehogs.
"Wait." Cream put her index finger up. "I bet they're in the guest house." Cream smiled as Knuckles nodded.
"Good idea ears." Knuckles grinned.
Cream pouted at the nickname.
"And right you are." Rouge said as the three rushed up the hill and into the guest house.
"Are you sure they're in here Rougey?" Cream questioned about to enter the house.
"Trust me." Rouge said with a sly smirk.
All three entered the house closing the door.
"I don't se-" Knuckles was cut off as he heard foot steps upstairs.
"SHADOW." All three froze.
They looked at each other heavily blushing.
"...W-well...their c-certainly he...here." Cream said. Her whole face was as red as a tomato.
Five minutes later two figures came from upstairs to greet the three.
At first they saw Shadow. His shirt was wrinkled and his pants were a little drooped. His quills were a huge mess with fur scattered all over. He was smirking with a hazy look on his face, eyes narrowed. As for Amy who he was carrying she was in a daze nuzzling in his chest fur. Her make up was still the same but her hair was a bit messy but not as messy as Shadows. She was smiling looking very tired.
"H-hey guys." Amy said almost whispering.
"Uh..." Cream stood there giggling.
Knuckles smirked. "Damn Shadow...you look a mess." Knuckles said looking at his two friends.
"Blame in on her." Shadow smirked looking down at Amy who pouted.
"Well look it's time for you to blow out your candles. Everyone's waiting at Sonic's house so fix yourself really quick." Rouge said looking at the two who nodded.
Shadow gently put Amy down as she hissed in pain.
"You okay?" Shadow asked holding her.
"Y-yeah." She said quietly as she began fixing herself. She straightened her dress and Shadow fixed hims clothes straightening them out.
She combed through her hair making it look presentable then worked on Shadow quills making his look presentable as well.
"Ready?" Rouge questioned. Both hedgehogs nodded closing the door and heading to Sonic's beach house.
"Where have you been?" Sonic asked tapping his foot as the five entered the house.
Shadow looked at Amy who looked at him smiling.
"We had some...business to take care of." He said smirked while holding Amy.
Knowing what he meant Sonic growled but then shook it off.
"Well now that we're all heer, let's blow out the candles." Sonic said pulling Shadow towards him.
Everyone sang the birthday song and soon finished.
Both males blew the candles out as everyone cheered.
"CAKE TIME." Charmy said.
"Wait Charmy! Let the birthday boys get their pieces first." Cosmo said scolding Charmy.
Everyone laughed.
"Dig in everyone." Sonic said as he began to cut the cake.
Eventually everyone got a piece sitting down and enjoying the rest of the night.
Amy looked at all of her friends smiling, then to Shadow who had some icing on his cheek. She licked it off then snuggled into him.
Shadow smiled holding her tightly.
This is what he wanted NO what they both wanted...
Ok so...THIS TOOK ME A FRICKIN' MONTH AND A HALF TO WRITE! I HAD TO MAKE IT PERFECT FOR YOU GUYS AND I HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DOOOOO :O
