Chapter 18 – Wedding

Two years after they had graduated from Hogwarts, here the four were, at Scorpius and Rose's wedding. Who could have thought the they would marry before Albus and Alaine? Though Albus and Alaine were engaged, and were to be married in three months time. Scorpius had proposed to Rose on her birthday the year before, and she had kissed him in front of her father, who's ears turned red in embarrassment and slight anger at the sight. Albus and Alaine had gotten engaged when Albus proposed at a dinner at the Potter house, which had lead to James, who wasn't married or even really dating anyone seriously, to no ones surprise, to tease him for weeks afterward.

Rose was standing in a room in the Burrow as her various cousins, Fleur, Astoria Malfoy, and Grandma Molly fussed over her makeup, her sleek white dress, and everything else that had to prepared for the wedding. Thankfully, the rest of her aunts, and her mother weren't excessively girly and were happy to let the others do their damage to what Scorpius and Rose had hoped would be a small, quiet wedding. Now, half of the Ministry was invited, all of the Hogwarts staff, plus the entire Weasely and Malfoy family, plus the Potters. As a Malfoy tiara encrusted with diamonds was placed on her head, it was time for the precession to begin.

Alaine was her Maid of Honor, Lily Luna, Roxanne, Molly, Lucy, and Dominique were her bridesmaids. Scorpius's Best Man was Albus, his groomsmen being James, Hugo, Fred II, Louis, and Lorcan and Lysander Scamander.

The wedding went perfectly, many tears were shed, especially by a much older Hagrid, no fights, surprisingly, broke out between and Malfoys and Weaselys, and no one messed up their vows, not that anyone was concerned about the last. The wedding then moved from the Burrow, to Malfoy Manor for the reception. Everyone danced till their feet were sore, and none of the stories were too embarrassing. The newly weds soon left to go on their honeymoon, to a Malfoy owned mansion just outside of Paris.

Everyone was happy for the newly weds and wished them the best as they caught their portkey and disappeared out of sight to being their first night as Husband and Wife.
