Eleiona let out a huff from her position on the floor, she had been locked away in the room Klaus had put her in for at least a week. She was in a daze that she seemed to have stayed in and sat facing the door waiting for any sign of movement. Klaus hadn't come to see her not once and much to her dismay, she was worried about him. Elijah seemed to have disappeared not long after she had arrived to the mansion. The door suddenly began to jiggle and as the person on the other side became more annoyed the screws in the doorknob worked themselves out.
"Eleiona, are you still in there?" Eleiona recognized the voice, but made no move to get up. She was slightly disappointed that it was who it was, she hadn't been fed in over a week and she was beginning to think the small fetus inside of her would rip her apart. The door broke open completely to reveal Rebekah. "What are you doing?" She growled at Eleionas calm stature. "I know you heard me, we need to be quick."
"I can't be quick, I'm too damn starved." She growled back, slowly lifting herself from the floor. "What's the big deal anyways, hm? Who died?" The way she asked it had a sarcastic tinge to it, but the answer she received back was in all seriousness.
"Kol." She froze, and all her strength felt like it was pulled out of her. She let a soft shrug.
"He is an original, just pull the stake out and he will be fine.." She nodded as she walked towards Rebekah, but the look on Rebekahs face told her otherwise.
"No." She shook her head. "Not this time, Leo."
She swallowed hard and averted her eyes away from Rebekahs. "Where is Klaus?" She asked with fury, "He hasn't come to see me. No one has."
"We've all been a little tied up." She replied with an unsure tone, "Everything has gotten so out of hand, Leo."
"Let's just get out of here." She growled, pushing past Rebekah. "Take me to where Klaus is right now."
"He's at the Gilberts house, he actually can't really lea-" Before Rebekah could finish what she was saying Eleiona sped off towards the house she knew so well.
"Klaus!" She hissed as she took a step through the open door. There was no response and she thought that maybe he had gotten himself out of the mess he had been in before. She could smell the stench of burned flesh, but it was the scent that had her following the smell towards the kitchen. "Oh no...Kol."
She fell to her knees beside the charred body. He wasn't even recognizable anymore. His face was completely burned, he was literally just an outer shell of black. "Eleiona?"
She looked behind her to see Klaus standing in the living room, he made no move to come closer to her. "What happened?"
He shifted his eyes away from her in a way that made it easy for her to tell that he was tearing himself apart inside. "You're sweet, dearest cousins happened." He growled back, almost sending some of the resentment her way.
"They killed him?" She whispered quietly, not allowing any of her tears to fall. "Why?"
"You've missed so much in such a small amount of time." He said with a dark chuckle.
"What do you mean?" The evil grin on his face told her that it had been a most eventful and horrid week for Mystic falls. "What have you done?"
"I don't like rebellion, Leo." He said, sitting himself down on the couch. "I really hate when people try to turn against me, it's mostly just a bad idea on their part."
"What are you talking about, Klaus?" She stood up and took a step towards the living room. "Who exactly turned against you?"
He let out another dark chuckle before whispering, "Everyone." There was a small pause before he continued. "That lovely boy Tyler thought he was the big bad wolf in town when broke my sire bond with every single one of my hybrids." He ran his hands through his hair and then looked up at her. "What do you think I did to them for betraying me?"
"...You killed them." She nodded already knowing.
"I didn't just kill them, no, that's not my style for such a broad betrayal." He shook his head and clasped his hands together. "I slaughtered them and Tylers little mother as well. Drowned her to hell."
"My god, Klaus." She whispered, avoiding any eye contact she could. "What is wrong with you?"
He was in front of her in a second and thats when she realized he couldn't leave the living room. "I swear Leo if I could leave this room right now the first thing I would do is snap your neck."
"Like that would make everything better?" She growled back at him. "Why did the kill Kol?"
"He wanted to destroy the cure." He replied, "I know what you're going to ask, 'What cure?' Well Leo it's the only cure that exists to turn a vampire into a human."
"Why would you need that?" She asked squinting her eyes at him.
"That's really none of your business." He growled rolling his eyes at her. She didn't understand why he was being so harsh with her. Sure his brother had just died but her was acting like he couldn't stand to look at her.
She flashed over to Kols body and ripped the still whole stake out of his chest. "Can it be my business now, Klaus?"
"What are you doing?" He hissed at her. "You going to kill me like they did to Kol, maybe you're really just a Gilbert."
"No." She replied shaking her head. "How about I just kill myself instead?"
The emotion she was longing for flashed through his eyes as he looked at her. He wouldn't dare question if she would actually kill herself or not. He knew for a fact that she would. He loved her, he loved her so much. He just wanted to get on his knees and kiss her feet for allowing him to have an heir. "Eleiona, stop." He stared into her eyes, beckoning the stake down. "Please, don't hurt yourself. Out of everyone you are the last person I would want to see as a pile of ashes. I almost saw it once over a year ago, I couldn't bare it if it really happened."
"What am I gonna do?" She whispered, hovering the stake over her heart. "You've chased everyone away you know that? Stefan hates me, Damon only likes me because I'm a bitch, right? And what about Elijah? hm? He's too disgusted to even show his face to other people anymore and I can barely stand Rebekah anymore because of how emotionally incorrect you have made her." She didn't care that she had just put almost all the blame on Klaus, she felt he deserved it. "Now look at Kol. Dead. Charred on the floor because he was trying to do something about the mess you've made."
"Do you know what it feels like to know that everyone hates me?" He asked almost ignoring everything she had just said. "It feels good, Leo. It feels so good. I've done something right, haven't I?" He nodded with a tight lipped smile on his face. "This town is going to be nothing but ashes when we're done Leo. I've got plans, I've got plans for all of us." He whispered gesturing to her slightly swollen stomach. "I'd do anything for you and you know it."
"There is barely an us anymore." Eleiona spat back while crossing her arms over her chest.
"Then raise Silas." He spat back at her and she could see the loving emotion bury in his eye, turning into anger. "You can have everyone back, but you'll pay the price of raising hell on earth."
