"Come on, Bucky. You need to get up. We move out in twenty." Steve declared as he gave his friend a gentle but firm shake.
"Then wake me up in fifteen." Bucky replied as he turned onto his side and covered his head with the blanket.
"Bucky, the others have a bucket of water waiting outside your tent. Do we really need a repeat of last time this happened?"
With a heavy sigh, Bucky admitted defeat and opened his eyes.

"Bucky...Bucky?!"
"I told you I'd get up already."
"Yes. Please. Wake up, Bucky."
"Steve, you're talking too loud."
He heard a laugh that almost sounded...relieved.
He forced his eyes to open and then blink a few times to clear. He right away spotted the face of his longest friend looking down at him.
"You finally woke up." Steve said with a relieved tone.
"Did I over sleep again?" Bucky asked. "Don't make the others throw the water on me."
Steve lightly chuckled before turning serious.
"Bucky, what's the last thing you remember?"
"This a trick question?"
"No. Definatly not."
"Ok. Well...the last thing I remember..."

"Sir."
Fury looked up and spotted Natasha hurrying over.
"Something wrong?" Bruce asked.
"Barnes woke up." Natasha answered. "Steve is talking to him right now."
"Let's get over there." Fury ordered the group.
They walked out of the lab and quickly toward the medical wing. None of them were sure about what they would find once they came face to face with Steve's long time friend.
Would he still be Winter Soldier or was he back to being James Barnes?
They finally came to the room and quietly entered.
The sight before them was almost calm but tense at the same time.
Steve was sitting on a chair by the bed with an almost blank expression. Barnes was sitting slightly elevated against his pillows with a completely blank expressions. His eyes were staring straight up at the ceiling.
Just one look at the two let the others know that Steve had brought his friend up to speed on what's happened.
