I have to make a huge apology for the very late update of this fic, I'm back at school with a tonne of deadlines and I've not been very well lately but all is fine and I will do my best to keep up with this fic. Hope you're all still enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying writing it :D

Just as they left the doors of the ward, after Mr Wiggan walked into the door and kicked it in because it wouldn't open until Hanssen pressed the button, he grabbed Henrik by the wrist and dragged him into the lift, rushing it down to the basement and wandering around down there until he found a trolley carrying blankets sat at the side of the corridor.
"This is where I shagged Tabby." He pointed out letting go of Hanssen's arm.
"Is it?" Henrik humoured rubbing his wrist, he knew he was taking the piss but to reduce risk of him getting killed he decided to play along.
"It is."
"And how was it, if you don't mind me asking?"
"It was mind blowing, she was soaking wet, she had her legs wide open for me and when she came she screamed out my name, 'RYAN, YES, that was amazing!'" He mimicked his fantasy.
Henrik recoiled slightly at the vulgar things pouring from the man's mouth, "Lovely."
Ryan swaggered over to the tall Swede, "Yeah, it was." He began fronting, "So why isn't she here then?"
"She's away on a course." He lied simply.
"I see, can't you call her away from that course?"
"Not really, no." Henrik kept his cool very well.
"Well then, I guess one of the other nurses will have to do then, go get that fit ginger, Irish one down here so I can bang her out for the slut she is."
"No, and can I just say that I find your language and your attitude to women absolutely appalling, you are a disgusting member of society."
Ryan pulled out a screwdriver from his pocket, "Say that again." He hissed.
"I believe you heard me the first time." Henrik stood his ground.
"Oh aye? I think you're lying to me."
"Really?"
"Tabby's in the hospital isn't she?"
"No she isn't-"
"PHONE HER!"
Henrik readily took out his phone and phoned a number, "Hello Miss Rees?... yes there's someone here who wants to meet you… a man, we're down in the basement near the ward supplies… see you a minute." He ended the call, "She's on her way."
"Give me that phone." He snatched the phone from him and when he realised Henrik had actually phoned security instead he threw the phone to the floor causing the back cover to fling off and the screen to shatter, "YOU TWAT!" He suddenly lunged at Henrik with the screwdriver, but the alcohol turned him dizzy suddenly and he lay off but still managed to bury the screwdriver in the Swede's side.
As Ryan collapsed to the floor Henrik stumbled backwards with a groan of pain. He steadied himself and sat down on the pile of blankets in the trolley to take a closer look at his wound.
"Dude I'm so sorry, I don't know what came over me." Ryan pleaded from the floor.
"Far too much alcohol, that's what. It's fine, it hasn't gone in deep thankfully." He pulled out the tool and winced as he watched the small pool of blood that trickled from his new wound, smack bang next to the one he acquired from Ritchie Mooney's son. He pulled out a couple of tissues from his pocket, and with one he wiped the tool ready to hand it to the security guards and the other he placed over the wound under his shirt and decided to deal with it later.

It wasn't long before the security guards arrived and arrested the man on the floor.
"He also came at me with this." Henrik handed them the weapon.
"Are you hurt Mr Hanssen?" One of the guards checked.
"No, I'm fine thank you." He followed the guards out and headed back to his office.
"Ah Mr Hanssen I was wondering where you were." She turned and joined him ascending the stairs, "I got a call from an Edward Showers, he wanted to speak with you about next week."
"Oh yes?" Henrik subtly winced and pressed at the wound in his side, glancing down a small spot of blood was visible on his shirt. He quickly done up his jacket and pretended nothing was wrong.
"Um, Gemma Wilde called she said you were attending an emergency on the ward, a man was shouting for me apparently?"
"You treated a Ryan Wiggan once?"
"Um…"
"Drunk, scruffy, covered in scars and bruises?"
"Yeah, I stitched his head up once after a pub brawl broken out nearby. I thought he was an alright guy."
"Yes well, he seems to have it in his head that you two had sex in basement." He held the door open for her.
She walked through, "Well there were a few vulgar comments made but I put it down to him being so pissed."
"I see." He followed on.
She stood aside for him to enter his office and then followed him in. She sighed but as she heard him groan and sit down overly gently.
"Are you ok? What happened?" She asked concerned.
"Nothing I'm fine." He tried to pass it off but the pain made him wince again.
"No it's not, show me." She headed over to him.
"It's fine, I will deal with it myself."
"No you won't, now let me have a look." She got to her knees and undone his jacket to find the growing spot of blood on his shirt, "Henrik, what happened?" She whispered as she stroked the area.
Henrik sucked through his teeth, "He missed."
"Fuck off, Henrik, clearly he didn't miss." She unbuttoned the bottom of his shirt and found the small wound, "Right, I'm going to need swabs, antiseptic, sutures and a bandage." She looked at him expectantly knowing that he kept all of those things in his office somewhere.
"Over in the drawer there." He sighed.
She retrieved the equipment and went back, unbuckling his belt and unzipping his trousers for easier access. He hissed as she began to swab the wound with the antiseptic.
"How do you always manage to end up in the wars?" She smiled sympathetically. Her suturing was as neat as always but as she snipped-off the extra thread she noticed the scar of his previous wound, "What's this?" She asked as she ran her fingers over it.
Henrik sighed realising he couldn't hide it, "It was a similar incident." He looked around the office avoiding eye contact, but as he looked down, Tabby had a tearful expression on her face as she stared at the maimed abdomen. Slowly she leaned forward her eyes closed, and gently kissed the old scar. Henrik's expression morphed into to one of sympathy, she really did care. As she pulled away she sniffled and wiped the tears from her cheeks.
"Tabitha." He whispered pulling her up.
She stood shakily and straddled his lap, softly sitting on him and as he leaned forward to kiss her tender lips she took hold of his suit lapel, melting into his touch of affection.
After a few more seconds of kissing there came a knock at the door. Tabby pulled away but Hanssen shook his head and pulled her back in for more. There was another knock but again the two ignored it and carried on. After a while they concluded that the person had left, Henrik's hands trailed down Tabby's back and cupped her buttocks. Tabby's arms snaked their way around Henrik's neck as she pulled him in closer. Henrik's tongue managed to find its way into his lovers' mouth and he couldn't help but moan as their tongues were locked in an erotic dance, making both of them melt just a little bit more into each other. Unconsciously Tabby began to grind herself against the older man's crotch, the feeling making her more and more horny as she did so.

After a few more minutes Tabby pulled out, "I'm sorry." She chuckled nervously rising from his lap, "I have been sent some invoices for the new surgical tools; shall I sign them off?" She asked professionally, sorting out the papers on his desk.
"Erm, yes, yes please." He was unusually flustered.
"Good, I shall drop them by later on." She furrowed her brow, "I'd, er, do yourself up if I were you, might give someone shock." She smirked before heading out.
He was slow to catch on to what she meant but quick to carry out the suggestion.
"Oh, hello Digby, he's in there." He heard from outside the open door.
"Um, use simpler words today; I'm afraid the tank's not quite full." She warned giving him a pat on the shoulder.

"Bloody paperwork, stupid deadlines, fucking pen's run out." She muttered slamming it onto the desk and picking out another one from her pot.
*Knock knock*
"Yes." She drawled.
"Hi, um, I was told to come here for a quick tour of the place?" The young, dark haired woman explained.
Tabby carried on writing, "Name?"
"Zosia March, I'm a new F1." She took a seat on the other chair.
Tabby couldn't help but roll her eyes when she heard the phrase 'F1' and she turned from her paperwork to her computer where she found an unread email from Mr H. Hanssen:

Tabby,
I'm a bit busy today so I was wondering if you could welcome a new junior doctor; just show her around, run her through the computer systems and introduce her to key members of staff then leave her with Mr Malick, please?

Tabby locked her computer, slammed down her pen and roughly picked up a clipboard and cardigan, "Right, bring a notepad and pen, don't touch anything and only speak when spoken to ok? Any questions you address me as Dr Rees and try not to sound like a conceited cow, iawn?" She turned back to the F1.
"Um, Dr Rees, was that Welsh?"
"I said try not to sound like a conceited cow. Come." She ordered leading the way out of the room.
Zosia chuckled slightly before following on.

It was a whistle stop tour of each ward, quickly introducing Zosia to some staff, interrupting her narcissistic questions and telling her off for looking at patient notes and checking stats. They soon arrived back at Tabitha's office.
"So any more questions?" Tabby leaned back into her chair.
"Um, no, no, YES, yes, er, when do I start?"
Tabby checked her notes, "Tomorrow apparently. You will be starting off on Keller ward and Mr Malick will be your mentor, of course though after your first week if you want to try something different you're more than welcome to ask if you can observe on another ward, just don't be big-headed and choose cardiothoracics within your first two months."
"Ok, so who do I-"
"You want to change you come and speak to me, any other problems you hassle your mentor."
"Cool, thanks for today, I really enjoyed it." She grinned.
"You did?" Tabby seemed disappointed.
"I can't wait to start; I'll see you tomorrow then." She got up and headed for the door.
"8:30 sharp." Tabby reminded as the door slammed shut. Once it went quiet Tabby buried her face into her hands, "I wanna go home." She mockingly sobbed.
"Ready then?" Came an amused deep voice from the door."
Tabby suddenly lifted her head, "When did…? How did…? I never heard you!"
They both laughed and Tabby collected her belongings and headed home with her man.
