On board The Heart Pirate Submarine

"What went on between you, Rhiannon and Captain, Bepo?" Penguin asked the depressed looking White bear that emerged from the Captains quarters of the Heart-Break pirates' ship, only a minute Ago.

"WellCaptainaskedRhiannonifshewasconsideringlettin gCassierejoinhercrewandifnotcanwerecruitCassiethen sinceshe'snolongerontheircrewandthentherewasangryl ooksthenCaptainleftthenCrimsoncameinandtoldRhianno nthatsheawasn'tactingherselfandthatInoticedaswella ndthenItoldherthelistyouguyswroteonmypawthenshetol dmetogetoutbecauseeveryingwasfineandwerejustbeingi dots." Bepo huffed as he spewed out everything that had happened on board The Never Rain.

"Now Bepo repeat that with spaces."

"Sorry. Well Captain asked Rhiannon if she was considering letting Cassie rejoin her crew and if not can we recruit Cassie then since she's no longer on their crew. And then there was angry looks then Captain Left. Then, Crimson came in and told Rhiannon that she wasn't acting herself and that I noticed as well. And then I told her the list you guys wrote on my paw then she told me to get out because everything was fine and we're just being idiots… she never calls anyone an idiot"

Silence filled the room.

"Well not necessarily that word…" said Crimson.

"Dipper doodle…" Bepo piped up.

Heads bobbed in agreement across the deck.

"Regardless we need to finish locking down everything, storms are storms and a storm is coming." Ellen could feel the electricity building up in her fur. Blue light pulses could be seen flickering between her whiskers.

Ellen had never liked storms, not since she was nearly washed down a drain during one when she was a kitten. She was saved by her captain that stormy night. Rhiannon had spent several hours down the drain with Ellen in her hands holding her above her head so she wouldn't drown. Even after Cassie had found them, Rhiannon kept her warm, cleaned her up and she had been part of the crew ever since. It helped that she was adorable and good at math. Sure there were times where Rhiannon would dress her up in strange outfits or do strange things on one of her impulsive whims. Such, as the time dressed her up in a sailor outfit, "to win a mystery prize". The embarrassment and the teasing she endured to win the strangely patterned and coloured pineapple. Since she was the one that went through hell to get the prize she got the first bite. It tasted like old gym socks left in the sun for days on end. In short, it was gross. She couldn't believe she juggled flaming cacti for this piece of shit. And when she voiced this opinion, everyone was shocked. Not Rhiannon, she was asleep.

Rhiannon stepped onto the deck of The Never Rain. The ship was called The Never Rain because whenever it rained a circus tent sized bubble was inflated around the ship shielding it from terrible weather and flying bunnies… stranger things have landed on The Never Rain… stranger things.

The Captain and Crew said their farewells to the Heart pirates as they submerged to avoid the storm. Rhiannon admired the two giant Band-Aids that formed a cross on the nose of the sub, new and improved waterproof mondo grande Band-Aids perfect for your ship in between repairs or so the box said.

Rhiannon watched Flame light the lamps on the ship before casually stating.

"Well now that's all taken care of, let's prepare for Mihawk's arrival."

The crew froze.

Cassie was now back on the water using the increasing winds to help her navigate the way back to her ship. How could she have been so stupid? How could she not have noticed that her Captain was acting like a normal person and acting sane?

'There has to be a reason behind it, a pretty big one too, in order to cause her personality flip 180 degrees.' Cassie thought as she caused her skiff to sail into the air over the choppy ocean. She manoeuvred the skiff with ease along the wind; changing the wind direction as desired in order to get to her destination easier.

Cassie had secured her patient at the Inn on the island she had landed. He was conscious now but still a bit shaken up by the past events. He had told her his name was Axel and that he didn't want to stay on the island any longer than needed. The first mate had assured him that as soon as she had dealt to things with the crew she would return with her Captain and help him figure out his next move. Axel had some trouble believing her but she reassured him that she would return and gave him the pendant that she always wore around her neck as collateral.

A trail of smoke appeared in the sky along with three loud bangs.

"Is that where we are heading?!" Cassie asked her brain.

"Well normally when things explode it's a good thing, so the captain is either herself of the crew has found out the reason for her sudden sanity and are panicking uncontrollably."

"Why is it always the second one? Why?" Cassie moaned to the wind. And just as she approached the screams became clearer.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" the Heartbreak pirates were all holding their hair, screaming and running around in frenzied panic.

When they froze Flame dropped a lit lamp onto a loaded try cannon. This cannon was pointed toward the mast of the ship. The cannon then exploded leaving a massive crater where the helm had once been. Not only did the crew have no wind power they had no steering and a sane Captain to contend with.

"Well we're fucked." Rhiannon, who had watched the whole string of events unfold, was the only one not running around and crying "we're gonna die!" as the last of the mast fell at her feet.

"Well at least we don't have to use the stairs to reach the helm anymore."

"THAT'S BECAUSE THERE IS NO HELM!" the crew screamed.

"Touché."

Cassie was gobsmacked, she literally could not comprehend what was going down, there was fire, smoke, panic and people all around and no one else had noticed the approaching ship in the distance. A cross on the horizon and approaching quickly using the P.M.S storm winds to it's advantage.

"Ah." The second in command stated glaring into the distance. Above all the whatever-the-fuck was going on the Crew slowly silenced and followed Cassies stare.

"Been awhile." Rhiannon addressed the still smoking direction where the helm once was.

The only thing visible were the yellow eves of the "the Worlds Greatest Swordsman" Hawkeye Mihawk.

The eyes didn't even flicker to the direction of the whimpering crew.

"to be honest" his voice cascaded engulfing the silence, "I was going to destroy the ship myself but you seemed to have done a rather good job of that yourself."

The eyes flicked to Flame just for a second. The damage was done; Flame had never been so embarrassed before in her life.

"Now as for you Mrs. Captain-" a sword as black as death itself cut through the smoke. in an instance the dissipated smoke revealed a tall and manly figure to the crew. The sword was then pointed down towards the Captains chest.

Rhiannon slowly pulled her bow. Her hair cascading down her back like a golden water fall as the ribbon morphed into her most treasured weapon.
