"Tsukuru, you come back here this instant," Kagome demanded as she jogged after a giggling silver haired child, who was crawling as fast as she could in the direction of a group of people all gathered around a small child. "Inuyasha, grab her, would you?"
Said half-demon's ears flicked before he suddenly whirled around with a smirk, scooping up his two year old daughter. Nuzzling her cheek as she giggled wildly, he rumbled happily. "She's getting fast," Sango noted from where she sat, her own two daughters sitting in her lap.
"Of course she is," he retorted, a proud hint to his voice. "She's my pup."
Miroku, who was cradling his own one year old son to his chest, watching him nap, muttered under his breath, "Let's hope she only acquires your physical attributes. Any personality traits being passed down would be the death of us all. I think I'd die if a mini Inuyasha was running about."
"That's not a funny thing to say, dear," Sango said coolly, glaring at him.
Miroku winced. "Sorry," he said quickly in response.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes, handing Tsukuru to Kagome when the miko held her arms out expectantly, his eyes softening at the sight of his mate.
Almost three years had passed since the explosion and the destruction of Magatsuhi…and Midoriko. As soon as the press had figured out she had gone, they'd immediately covered the story of what had happened.
And when the police had shown up at Inuyasha and Kagome's front door, they'd been certain that things wouldn't end well.
Thank Kami I'm a miko, Kagome thought to herself, sitting beside her husband and plopping the squirming Tsukuru into her lap. Otherwise we'd never be able to prove what really happened.
Not that her mate had been exactly eager to mess with her memories again after she'd gotten them back for gone.
Messing with Tsukuru's ears, listening to her friends talk, Kagome closed her eyes.
Yes, she thought. She was definitely happy.
And she never wanted that to change.

A/N: THE EPILOGUE! I don't know if some of you are sad that it's over (probably not ;-;) but I have to say…there comes a point when you get tired of something. And I'm tired of writing this. So. I hope you enjoyed this fanfiction! Thanks to all of you, my lovely peeps!
