Hi guys! This chapter was really hard to write and I'm not sure why. I hope you guys like reading it and I hope it's not too choppy.
It was early evening when Mikael wanted to begin his plan. He knew that Klaus and Rebekah would be getting ready to go out, and they would not suspect that he was prepared and about to take him down.
The young vampire, Spencer, was able to get inside the boundary spell placed around the city. Spencer compelled the Chicago Police to follow Mikael once he could get inside the city.
Wooden bullets were distributed to the officers so it would be easier to weaken the Originals. Mikael wanted to kill them, but he knew he wasn't strong enough to go up against the two abominations without some help.
Mikael had Spencer turn someone into a vampire inside of the boundary. This baby vampire would help bring down the witch. Killing the witch was key. Once she was gone, everything else would fall into place.
Mikael knew that Klaus and Rebekah would be at Gloria's speakeasy that night. He positioned himself so that as soon as the spell broke, he would be able to get into the city and have a clear path to his children.
Gloria was in her bedroom. It was a small room that was off of her office. It was hidden behind a bookshelf with a spell. People did not expect it to be there and she liked her privacy. She kept her favorite and most secret spells hidden in there.
She was getting ready to go on stage and sing. She loved singing each night. Gloria felt the energy off of the people dancing before her. It made her feel more magical.
The usual crowd of people would not me there for another hour or so. It gave her plenty of time to do a quick spell. The boundary spell was a large one and it took a lot out of her. But doing small spells was slowly building up her strength. She didn't tell Klaus that she was weekend. He would not have liked it.
She talked to the spirits each day to keep the connection strong. They gave her new spells to try and helped her become stronger. They told her that she would be very powerful if she continued to practice her magic.
Gloria was still in her bedroom when she felt someone enter her office. She could not feel their spirit so she knew it was a vampire. She made her way out there trying not to be scared.
Gloria told herself that she was powerful. She was aiding the most powerful supernatural being. Klaus must just be trying to scare me, Gloria thought.
"Who's there?" she called.
There was no answer instead some papers ruffled across the room. She was certain it was a vampire, but who was the question.
"Freeze," Gloria shouted. She used magic to make the vampire stop running.
The vampire in front of her was not that much taller than her. His clothes were not in the best shape. Gloria thought this was interesting because vampires could compel themselves anything. She knew that the Mikealson's were very well dressed and always had the best. The vampire in front of her did not seem to have anything even remotely close to the best.
"What are you doing here?" she asked him.
"Should you be doing magic, little witch?" he said taunting her.
Gloria gave him a brain aneurism.
"Stop please stop," he cried out.
Gloria crossed the room so she was closer to the vampire. "I will ask you again, what are you doing here?"
"I heard that Gloria's is a very special place to come at night, and I wanted to see what the fuss was about." He said once Gloria stopped the brain aneurism.
"Try again," she said. She gave him another brain aneurism but this one was worse. He eventually passed out from the pain she caused him to have.
It took a lot of energy to knock out the vampire, but Gloria did not feel the harm yet.
She pulled the vampire to a wood chair in the corner of her office. She tied him up and put stakes in his legs. He didn't wake up from the pain of the wood.
Gloria looked around the room and found dried Vervain. She usually uses this in herb spells, but she decided that for tonight it would be a sort of torture. She tore off a small amount of the dried vervain. Then Gloria opened the vampire's mouth and placed it inside. She looked down at the vampire. He still had not waken from the pain. She was certain he would soon and once he realized what was in his mouth, he would be furious.
Gloria could hear the vervain sizzling on his tongue.
She walked outside of her office and put up a sound block so none of the people in the speakeasy could hear the vampire being tortured inside.
Gloria then went up onto the stage and began to sing the night away.
About an hour later, Gloria took a small break from singing.
Stefan Salvatore and the Mikealson's walked in a few minutes before and Gloria wanted to check on the vampire in her office before any of them knew of his presence.
Gloria had a suspicion that the vampire in her office was not from around here, but he was able to get past her barrier. She assumed that Mikael had caught up to his children and he was sending in other vampires to do his dirty work. She knew she would have to be careful if that were the case.
As soon as she opened the door, Gloria knew that the vampire was gone. She saw that the chair was broken and it looked like he had spit out the vervain and some blood.
She was certain that he was weakened, but Gloria wasn't sure if she would be able to take him down. She was still a young witch and she did not know if she would be able to stake him through the heart.
I should have just killed him the first time, she thought.
"Gloria," a voice said from the door. She turned and saw it was one of the members of the band. "Are you ready to sing again?" he asked.
"Yes. I'll be right out," she said.
She looked around her office to see if there was anything disturbed or suspicious. The witch didn't see anything so she started to head to the door.
The vampire swept out of nowhere and bit into the band member's neck. Gloria screamed. And tried to run for the exit on the other side of the room.
The vampire threw down the human. The vampire had fresh blood running down his chin. He flashed to Gloria and grabbed her waist.
She pushed him back with magic. She made it to the door, but she had trouble opening it because of the nerves.
He grabbed her again and bit into her neck.
As soon as the vervain from her blood touched his mouth, he gasped out in pain. She was able to open the door this time. However she didn't make it far before she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Gloria looked down to see a chair leg sticking out of her stomach.
After the vampire gasped back from the vervain in Gloria's blood he collapsed over the chair he was held captive in just a short hour earlier. He ripped off a chair leg. He aimed at the witch and was happy to hear her scream.
Gloria collapsed to the ground.
The vampire got up and pulled her over to the corner. He shut the door she opened.
He left her there and exited to the speakeasy thinking the wound would kill her and then the boundary would fall.
Gloria passed out form the pain. She knew that she was not strong enough to keep the spell up. The boundary had fallen.
Klaus realized that Gloria had been on her brake for longer than usual. He got up from his seat at the bar.
None of the band members seemed to be concerned, but Klaus knew that if Gloria died, or even became hurt, his boundary spell would fall and Mikael would capture him. Klaus would not let that happen. He would survive.
Klaus looked around for Rebekah and Stefan. Klaus was still not sure if he would allow the Salvatore to accompany them when they moved to another town.
Klaus spotted the two huddled in a corner of the room.
He ignored them and decided that he would find a drink a little stronger than alcohol.
He found the perfect victim when he felt something wash over him. Klaus froze. He had a bad feeling. Klaus recognized the magic that spread throughout his body. He knew that the boundary spell had failed. Mikael was coming and he was ready to run.
I'm sorry there're wasn't much Stebekah in this chapter, there will be more next chapter. It will be the "end" of the flashbacks and the official story, but it isn't a happy ending so I am going to have and extra chapter of extra Stebekah scenes from the third and fourth season of the Vampire Diaries.

**Spoiler***Kind of, not really. But did anyone watch the Originals last night? Did you see that Elijah WAS NOT in a suit!? I paused the TV as soon as I saw that and called my friend to see if she was as shocked as I was. Did any of you freak out? I am a little freak when it comes to Elijah and his suits…
