Jay leaned against the wall in the hallway of the school. He turned his head to find Theresa and Archie talking to each other happily, Atlanta and Odie were doing the same but they looked grim. It was as if they didn't even care one of the heroes was in danger. The thought made Jay huff in annoyance and he once again crossed his arms.

"Jay, man, everything will be fine, Neil will be up and annoying us again chill-," Odie's voice said and Jay turned to him, anger welled up inside him.
"Chill?! Odie how can I 'chill' when Neil is in there, and he probably lost his arm because of Cronus! I should have been quicker and blocked him; I should have protected him that's what leaders do!" Jay's shout echoed, making everyone quiet and Theresa gave him a concerned look. She got up, and walked to him, putting an arm on his shoulder.

"Jay, relax okay, you're not the only one here worried about Neil, we all are. And it wasn't your fault, nor Odie's so you shouldn't scream your anger at him." Theresa then changed her concern look to a stern one, and Jay sighed.
"Sorry Odie, I guess I'm just scared for Neil." He apologized, and Odie gave him a tight smile.
"It's fine, we all get like this-"

"Hera! How's Neil?!" Atlanta interrupted walking over to Hera who had a darkened expression on her face, her arms crossed. She was walking towards the six heroes, and took a deep breath. Everyone crowded around her, especially Jay who was practically in front of her. She cleared her throat, and Jay took a step backwards.
"Neil is fine, he is out of danger, but his arm is broken and needs to wear a cast for the next four weeks. And he needs attention from all of you so help him with what he needs." Hera then smiled at the heroes, as all of them sighed, relieved that Neil wasn't hurt. Well badly.

"When can Neil come home?" Theresa asked, and Hera replied, "Right now as I said he's fine, just help him with the nessacaries of a person that has a broken arm."
"As if that gives us info." Archie whispered in Theresa's ear and she giggled. Atlanta rolled her eyes at him and Herry just scratched his head, confused. Hera just glared at Archie and turned around, leaving the heroes.
"Get a good night's sleep everyone, Neil is in Aphrodite's room." She said drifting away. Jay was already making his way towards Aphrodite's, with the others trailing behind him.
"Jeez, Jay's taking this hard, not even for Theresa who I thought he was in love with." Archie whispered to Atlanta, and she nodded.
"Yea, it's just Neil, I mean Neil is important to us but it's like he cares about Neil a lot more than he should." She whispered back and Archie gave her a weird look. She shrugged.
"What are you two talking about?" Theresa's voice chimed and Atlanta snapped, "Nothing."

Jay opened the door, barging in the room to see Neil sitting on the red couch, his left arm propped up in a cast. Aphrodite was talking, looking at herself in her hand mirror.
"And I've always wondered why cream only works for certain- oh hello Jay, Atlanta Herry and Archie! Oh Theresa!" She acknowledged them, and they nodded back at her. Jay kept his eyes on Neil who looked tired and for once, wasn't talking about himself. His blonde hair was slightly messy, some parts were sticking up, and he stared dimly at the floor.

"Oh Neil, here are your friends! Now you all go back to a good night's sleep you all deserve it!" Aphrodite flipped her hair at them, walking out.
"Hey Neil." Jay said softly, bending next to him, and was about to grab his other hand that had the uninjured arm, but he brought his hand back. Neil looked up, and his face lit up when he saw his friends.
"Guys!"

"I never thought I'd say it but glad to see you're all right Neil." Archie said, smiling at him.
"Yea me too." Atlanta said, giving him a playful smile.
"Oh Neil you had us all worried!" Theresa exclaimed, and as surprise for everyone, she gave Neil a quick hug.

Herry and Odie just laughed at her actions.
"Gee thanks Theresa, glad to know I'm still loved." Herry just ruffled his hair, and for once Neil didn't object.
Jay racked his brain for something to say but he couldn't. He cleared his throat awkwardly.

"So let's go home?" He hesitated.
"Okay." Neil said, but got up too fast, he lost his balance and was about to fall back to the couch headfirst when Jay grabbed a hold of his other uninjured arm, and a hand across Neil's back pulling him up. When he did, they were just inches away. Hesitating he let go of Neil as Neil gave him a 'what the heck are you doing' look. Jay threw his hand in the air to his neck, suddenly embarrassed.
"Wouldn't want you to get injured again would we? heh." Jay laughed nervously and Neil gave him a smile, and said a quiet 'thank you' and was that- blush?!

Jay's heart thumped, replaying Neil's smile in his mind, it made him feel warm and loved as if the world didn't exist only to them two-
Jay shook his head subconsiously, he couldn't be feeling like that towards Neil, Neil is. . .Neil! He thought back to Theresa, hoping to find her smile attractive like he once thought, but it didn't work. Theresa's smile compared to Neil's was just horrible, Neil's was more beautiful more-more

"Jay?! Snap out of it we're leaving." Theresa said, snapping his fingers in front of the leader. Jay blinked, and watched as Herry and Neil left together, Atlanta, Odie and Archie were in a group leaving.
"Oh thanks Theresa I was just-,"
"Daydreaming?"
"Yea, you can say that."
"I wonder about what?" She said suppressing a smile.
Jay just smiled back at her, and as she talked on and on about how they could go sailing tomorrow, he watched Neil walking in front of him, his smile replaying in his head over and over again.

Okay that was chapter two and next one will be up soon, I won't forget about this! And keep on reviewing!
