CHAPTER 8 – Beach Babes
I dig my toes into the sand...
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds
strewn across a blue blanket.
I lean against the wind,
pretend that I am weightless,
and in this moment I am happy... happy.
I wish you were here
I wish you were here
I wish you were here
I wish you were here…
-Incubus
Jamee awoke with a start. No dreams, but a feeling of being too hot and a noise of some kind had awoken her rapidly. When she opened her eyes mechanically she noticed that the room was way too bright. It must've been the middle of the day. The next day, as far as she was concerned since it had been dawn around the time they strapped her down and mercilessly put her to sleep yesterday. Fragments of her dream that day came to her mind but she quickly dismissed them when she heard someone clear his throat. She turned her head to the side.
"Hi there." she heard him say. Could it be? Was it really…Face? But her eyes had gotten used to the bright sunlight already and when she turned her head around to see where the voice was coming from, she realized her brain had not tricked her into believing he was here.
"H-hi." She shyly answered. It was so good to see him. Oh God, was it good to see him. She wanted to jump over to him and hug him and never let go. He stood up and slowly walked towards her, her big eyes watching his every move. He stopped at her bedside and took one of her hands in his. Jamee winced at the simple act. Somehow, she found, it had gotten hard to accept a casual touch. Face looked worried as he realized what might have been going on in her mind. 'Everyone is always worried.' she thought, but as her expression had turned into a sadder one than she had already shown to him Face quickly continued the conversation.
"I heard you had a fight with the orderlies? Pretty tough guy, I wouldn't have stood a chance against him." he tried to joke.
He looked at her, unsure at first, but when she smiled he smiled as well.
"What's wrong, Jamee?" He looked serious again.
Jamee sighed.
„I don't know it's…" she took a deep breath and exhaled before continuing to explain "Everyone asks me…'what's wrong', or 'how do you feel?', all the time." another deep breath followed "and all I want is not to talk about what's wrong or how I feel because I…just want to forget what happened and have everything back to the way it was again." She whispered that last part, deliberately leaving out the word 'normal' as she had never considered anything in her life to ever be that way a standard citizen would describe that word.
"We all want to forget. But forgetting it won't help it, Jay." Face said, seemingly thinking of something that happened a long time ago as his gaze wandered down on the ground.
"I know." she whispered, now sitting upright on the bed, holding her knees tight against her chest with her arms, looking more broken than he had known she could look. Not even Face could deny that he felt a great deal of sympathy for Jamee.
And then he took her in his arms and squeezed her lightly, not wanting to hurt her or to make her feel uncomfortable again.
"Face," she nuzzled into his chest, "I want out."
"Well then let's go." he softly patted her back.
She stared up at him, unbelievingly but he just smiled.
"Why do you think I'm here?"
"But you…!" she couldn't hide her smile when she realized then, that the reason he was wearing his A-class uniform was exactly what she had hoped would happen. A way out. Leaving the madhouse.
"Now, now, remember, you have a trauma after all and I need to take you to another hospital for a special rehabilitation treatment."
"…Murdock?" she asked, hesitantly, quietly, as if not wanting to give away how important he was for her.
"He'll find a way. I can't spring you two out at the same time again, they'll be suspicious."
"Okay…" she mumbled, her eyes immediately leaving the questioning stare of his.
"Well then, let's get you out of this hospital, okay?"
"More than okay." she smiled.
The escape went as planned and within 45 minutes, Jamee found herself stepping over the doorsill of the beautiful beach cottage Face called his whenever the owner was out of town. The weather was hot but inside it was nice and cool. He had turned the AC on already. Maybe he had been there with a woman before? Wouldn't be unusual for Face, but right then, she didn't care. She was away from all the depressing trouble from the past weeks. Free. Freedom was so sweet. Even if it was only for a couple of days, she could sense it in the air and her behaviour immediately changed. But her thoughts were also with Murdock. She hadn't even said goodbye. Well, at least she could be sure that he knew from Face where they were.
She made her way out onto the deck and took a deep breath in, filling her lungs with the much desired ocean air. It was wonderful. The sun tickled her skin and for a moment, she swore she felt weightless.
"How are you now?" Face had stepped outside joining her.
"So much better…" she sighed, enjoying the feeling of the sunlight on her pale skin.
"I'm very happy you're feeling better." he said, matter-of-factly as he stepped a bit closer "…hey um, if you're hungry, I had the housekeeper stock up the fridge."
"Thanks Face, but not right now." she said, her eyes closed, facing upwards to the sky.
"Alright, just making sure you don't starve while in my company." He sounded unsure of what to do and it was true that she had not been spending a lot of time with only his company lately so it was only natural for him, she thought, after all that had happened, to be unsure of how to handle the situation best.
"Yeah I know I lost some weight…I'll eat later…listen, I'm gonna slip into something more comfortable and then I'm gonna go and read a book on the beach, alright?"
"Do as you please Ms. Miller, I'll be inside, I have some work to do. Oh by the way, I stocked up your wardrobe, you'll find it in the guest room you stayed in the last time." he gave her wink.
"Thank you Face!" she answered but he was already inside.
After she had stayed outside for another couple of minutes, Jamee went and put on one of the two Bikinis that were in the closet of her room. It wasn't a surprise to her that they fit like they were made for her, Face was very well with measurements when it came to, well, women, then she grabbed her book and a towel out of Face's closet and off to the beach she was. Every now and then she noticed the watchful eye of Face on her and it strangely made her feel safe rather than being watched too carefully. The sun was perfect on her skin and she even went for a brief swim. Holden Caulfield's odyssey got weirder and weirder the further she read the book and she actually remembered how she had felt a certain bond with the character that she had established two years ago. The combination of the ocean, the sun, lying on a towel in the sand, the warmness everywhere and the occasional caws of the seagulls was deeply satisfying and, not much to her surprise, she felt her whole body and mind relax for the first time in ages, or at least to her so it seemed.
The day went by so rapidly that Jamee was lying in bed before she had even realized it was time to sleep. She had taken the longest shower she had been taking for a while and afterwards sat with Face and watched the sun go down, Face with a glass of wine, Jamee with a glass of red grape juice as she was not a big wine drinker, and when the first stars had started to show Jamee had told him how thankful she was for this kind act of his. Of course she knew it must've been Hannibal's idea in the first place, but it was Face who took the time to get her and take her there. She turned around in the sheets. The bed was heavenly. Nothing compared to hers at the VA. So soft and it smelled of freshly laundered linen.
The next morning came and she made a scrumptious breakfast and cleaned the kitchen afterwards. Housework was something different for her but she thought she had done a pretty good job. Face was reading a book on the deck while she decided to go to the beach again. She placed her towel, her book and a walkman Face had given her this morning as a gift on the ground and went for a swim.
It was a nice and sunny day yet again and Jamee relaxed down at the beach on the towel after a lunch which had consisted of a couple of sandwiches she quickly had made for Face and herself. Face…it was so nice of him to do this for her. She wondered if the other guys would stop by for a visit, too. And she wondered when or even if, Murdock would come here…thinking of him made her heartbeat speed up to the point where she decided to just continue reading her book and listening to The Byrds on her new Walkman. After a while, she closed her eyes for a brief moment, or so it seemed, but inevitably, like she had so much in the past few days, she fell asleep.
"Jay."
"Mmmmm." Did I fall asleep again?
"Hey, Jaybird."
"Mmmmm whaatt…" Jamee sounded whiny. This was the first time in weeks that she did not have a nightmare while she was sleeping, instead, there was nothing – pitch black and she had slept like a rock. Why would somebody wake her up now?
"Wanna go grab something'ta eat?"
'Murdock?' she heard her inner voice yell in surprise. And up she was. She rubbed her eyes and looked at him. It was Murdock! Crouched beside her, wearing a horrible Hawaiian themed short sleeved shirt, somewhat tolerable khaki colored shorts and a horrible looking beach hat instead of his usual baseball cap. All in all a hilarious appearance but Jamee didn't mind. She never had. After all they say clothes make people, and these, well they perfectly matched his personality.
"So?" He gave her one of his warm smiles that went right to her heart and within a second she flung herself around him into a deep embrace. Not expecting such a warm welcome he lost his balance and with a thudding noise, they landed in the sand, Jamee halfway on top of his lap. He hugged her tighter than the days before, she realized, maybe because the bruises were almost gone or maybe because he had missed seeing her like this as she had missed seeing him like this. Relaxed, somewhat happy and at ease with the world for a change. It felt…different - good. Better than the hugs in the past days. It felt comfortable, reassuring, as if everything really would become fine again. And Jamee enjoyed it. With a breath of relieve she turned to face him.
"Actually…" she looked at him very stern, as if eating was the last thing she had in mind but then proclaimed "I'm starving!" with a big, wide grin on her face. But he looked serious. He turned his head around, to the left, to the right, up to Face's cottage – what was he looking for? Were the other guys coming as well? Maybe B.A. was – Mm…? Suddenly, she felt his lips on her forehead, a little bit longer than a second, with a little bit more pressure than usually. But maybe it was her brain going slow motion on her yet again, deepening the experience. It was over sooner than she had wanted it to be. It must've been only a second, maybe two? But it was enough to make her stomach stop asking for food. She leaned against his shoulder.
"I missed this." She whispered.
"I missed you." He simply replied.
The atmosphere had changed from a happy-go-lucky vibe to a deep connection that was stirring inside of them. Calm, a little slowmotion like, but blessed with each other's company in a way only they could understand.
"You haven't called me Jaybird in ages." she stated.
"Well I saw you in your little blue bikini and…I just had to." he said, smiling. "It's almost as beautiful as the color of your eyes." he said, looking into them as if he was searching for something he couldn't find.
Jamee blushed and quickly looked away, but not without showing him that she was smiling for the compliment he had just given her.
"Come on, let's go get Face." he said, helping her up.
When she got up she realised how weak her knees still were from that one kiss he had given her. She grabbed her book and he took her towel. She looked at him while he was shaking it to get the sand off of it. She couldn't help but smile while doing so and she was glad, because she used to do that a lot, not a very long time ago, she could look at him and just smile and right then she knew, it was alright, because, hadn't he finally accepted their special kind of relationship? One step at a time, Jamee! She reminded herself and when he turned around and called her name she followed him to Face's cottage.
It was a quiet ride. Once again it was the three of them in the Corvette. Jamee had been getting a bit of the déjà-vu-feeling which made her think about things she'd rather not think of. Of course Face took them to one of the thousands of nice places he knew and was known at. Jamee was glad Face had gotten her some new clothes, but she still felt underdressed wearing her converse shoes to a finer location. Oh well, this would have to do. And of course, she still had Murdock, the fashion rebel, to sit next to so maybe she wouldn't even stand out that much.
The food was delicious and Jamee couldn't remember the last time she actually ate a whole plate of food clean. Murdock was going on Face's nerves as usual and Face checked out the ladies every now and then occasionally greeting some of them. Everything was so…uneventful, almost, she barely dared to think about that word, 'normal'. She was out in public and there were no guns, no bad guys, nobody wanted to kill her…this was so nice. She must've visibly relaxed when thinking about this because she briefly felt Murdock's fingers graze her hand and, when she looked up at him, saw him smile at her reassuringly. She blushed a bit and quickly looked away, but she smiled and she knew that that had been his intent.
"What's so funny?" Face asked.
"Oh…nothing really. I'm just happy and stuffed." She answered.
"Well, me too…but see Brittany over there, she really wanted to tell me about her new acting role in this movie and uh…"
"Face, it's alright, go get some drinks with her, we'll take a cab home." she suggested.
"You guys sure you're gonna be fine?"
"Aw Faceman that's so cute of you to be worried about the two of us but don't! We'll find our way home! We can make it! We have the strength, the power! The never-ending ability to locate a Taxi within 50 miles from where we are and even if they–"
"We'll be fine." Jamee said, softly patting on Murdock's back as the other guests started to look once again like the shirt he was wearing wasn't the only thing that annoyed them about him.
"Let's go!" She hissed giving him a stern look.
"But what about-" Face tried to ask.
"Thanks for paying the tab Facemaaan!" Was all that Templeton Peck heard from the both of them leaving.
"Hahaha, I think the Taxi driver will call it a night after this ride." She laughed at him.
"Well his fault for not knowing the itsy-bitsy spider song's lyrics by heart!" Murdock pouted.
"Ah, this was the best Taxi ride in a long time." she said, as she was getting out the keys of her pocket and started to unlock the door. Murdock though, softly stepped up behind her and reached through between her arms and her waist in order to finish unlocking the door. He gave it a little push and opened it for her.
"Agreed, Milady." he said, in a deep, royal voice, expecting her to go in first.
She smiled and went into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water. Two minutes later she joined Murdock on the deck. Outside, the sun was almost set and the sky appeared in a range of warm colors intertwining and making it seem like somebody had spilled them and mixed them while trying to cleanup the mess in the sky. It was beautiful.
"It's still so nice outside today, isn't it?" she asked as she stepped closer to him.
"Yeah…" he calmly answered, seemingly caught up in a string of thoughts.
"You know what never ceases to amaze me?" she asked quietly.
"My ingenious ability to repeat all of your sentences backwards?"
Jamee laughed.
"No. Not really."
"Dang and I was practicing so hard." he joked and they both chuckled before they went quiet for a moment.
"No it's…the way you talk to me when no one's around." she looked at him intensely to see any sign of a reaction in him.
"What about it." he calmly asked.
"H.M. I know I don't have to tell you. We both know what's going on even though we never really talked about it. And we don't have to, I get that. It's just…I sometimes wonder if anybody knew…how different we are from what they are thinking." she made a short pause and put a strand of hair behind her ear. "But then again, I'm not interested in that answer really because…as long as we both know, that's all that matters to me." She looked at him, expectedly, but he just looked back at her, his features calm but thoughtful, so different from the persona he portrayed to be.
They stood in silence for a while. Jamee wasn't surprised that he didn't answer. She knew how much he despised talking about the topic of the both of them being believed to be mentally instable and not capable to live a normal life. But before the silence turned any more awkward, she decided to change the subject.
"You know what, I think I'm gonna go for another swim before it gets too cold."
"You sure? I mean, it's almost dark and you just had dinner." He pointed at her belly.
"Well I have somebody who watches out for me." She said, gave him a wink and went to her bedroom to put on her bikini, leaving Murdock comfortably confused. Sometimes she really could be seductive and he wondered if she was doing it on purpose or if she just had a natural talent going on for her.
Watch out for her he did, standing on the deck casually sipping on a beer he'd found in the fridge. It was strange for Face to have beer in the house since he was more the wine-kind-of-guy. Some good thinking about what she had just said moments before could be done on this deck, but he refused to. For the time being he just watched her swim her rounds in the ocean. It was funny to see her get in because it took her some time to adjust to the cold water, but of course, she wouldn't hesitate a second and keep on going until he could only see her head stick out of the water. After a couple of rounds she turned on her back, floating on the surface of the water.
"It's so refreshing, why don't you come join me?" she called up to him.
Join her? He thought for a second. Why didn't he think about it earlier? Maybe because he wanted to give her as much space as she needed during this time. Or maybe because he still needed the space during this time? She had to go through some pretty tough stuff lately and him clinging to her might have had a counter-effect on the trust between the two of them. He wanted to take things slow, for her, for the sake of the sin that he still had despising thoughts of in his head.
"Hey, I'm talking to you up there!" She called.
"I'll come down to the beach but I'm not gonna swim!" He shouted back and slowly went down to where she had left her towel.
He watched her do some moves in the water and every now and then they both had to laugh about her childish behaviour.
"Come here, let me show you something." She said.
He took off his shoes, rolled up his khakis a bit, got up and went closer to her, his now bare feet covered in water as the waves came rushing to shore. She was in really shallow water now and it was getting darker but he could see her silhouette lying on the ground, covered in water. She smiled.
"What is it?" He said curiously.
"Come a bit closer." She grinned.
"You're up to something missy, I can sense that."
"Who? Me? No way!" And with a loud splash Murdock was being attacked by the salty water. She laughed while he covered his face and tried to escape the splashes.
"Oh really?!" He yelled and then he used his feet to splash some water on her. She giggled uncontrollably. Then she got up through the splashes and ran towards him as he ran away.
"Who wants ocean huggieeessss?" she laughed as she ran after him.
"Oh no you won't!" He yelled, laughing and running away.
"Forget it buddy, I almost have you!" She yelled back.
It only took a quick try to turn around from Murdock and Jamee flung herself at his back.
"Got'cha!" she exclaimed as he grabbed her and turned around to face her.
They stopped, catching their breath, looking at each other.
"Now you're all wet anyways, let's go for another swim." She enthusiastically said.
He gently grabbed her shoulders and slowly let his hands glide down her arms. Jamee's skin reacted to his touch with goosebumps forming underneath his touch.
"You're cold, you shouldn't go back into the water." he said, concerned for her well being.
"I'm not." She pouted, she really wanted to swim with him, since it was something they had never done together before.
"I can tell even though it's dark." He laughed. "Let's go inside and then we can both change into something dry, how'bout that?"
"M, Fine..." well so much for trying to have him swim with her. Maybe he wasn't in the mood though, she thought, and she could accept that, respecting that his feelings and thoughts were something that she could not control.
They went upstairs to the cabin and Murdock's beer was still sitting on the railing of the deck. Jamee took a sip. She had tried beer before, at Hannibal's place once, and she had to admit that unlike most of the girls her age, she liked the stuff. But this was also to show some kind of rebellion –if a rather childish one, to show him, to get him to understand that she wasn't the average 16-year old and that she could handle grown up things. Maybe it was stupid of her, but somehow she had to show him. Then she handed it to him and went inside to shower and change.
Murdock had slipped in another pair of shorts and a plain white t-shirt. He was laying on one of the deck chairs when she came outside, her skin smelling of vanilla body wash, her hair was still wet, giving away the typical scent of a freshly showered person. She just wanted to be with him now before Face would be back home. He was staring at the sky when she approached him.
"Find some UFOs?" she joked.
"Just a couple." he joked back.
She could feel the tension again. It was THIS tension. The kind of tension that was between them, before either something very good or something very bad would happen. Depending on his state of mind in that moment. It was difficult for her to retain, when all she wanted to do was sit in his lap and cuddle him and maybe get one or two kisses. He looked at her after a while, since she had not moved a single inch since she came to him. She decided to give it a shot and slowly put one leg over him, so she was standing above him. She could see him flinch for a second and she knew where his eyes had been. When he didn't resist, she sat down, sitting down more on his thighs rather than directly into his lap. She slowly took his hands in hers always watching his face to see if she could see a sign of refusal. He let her have her way and she put his hands in hers on his chest, leaning in closer now. He sighed, but she decided to go on and lean more forward, until her head was resting against his chest. She could hear his heartbeat and realized how fast it had gotten. She could hear his breathing as his body was rising and going down again. And she could smell him. His very own delicious scent. It made her feel so warm in that special place. But she could only dream of that right? After all he felt horrible afterwards...why would he do it again? But it felt so good. How could he not want to do it again? After a while she felt him raise his head and place a kiss on her head. But she wanted to feel him on her mouth and on her arms and her chest and...everywhere. The tension was unbearable by now and she propped herself up to look at him only to see this glare in his eyes. The glare of which she exactly knew what it meant. Desire. She must've shown the same look because suddenly, his hands were around her face, pulling her in for a deep kiss. She was surprised because he had used his tongue on her right away. Normally it needed a few innocent kisses before they couldn't hold back anymore. She drew back a bit to take a look at him. His hungry eyes were glaring at her. But there was something else. She could see the pain, the worries but it seemed that he...had given up on them. He surrendered. HE let her have her will.
"H.M...are you...are you doing this for me?" she asked, unsure of what to expect of this situation.
"What?" he asked, his breath still going faster than usual.
"This. It seems like...you've surrendered to something you don't want just for the sake of my happiness."
He laughed out loud, but there was a hint of aggravation coming with it.
"Something I don't want? Something I DON'T want?" He sat up, facing her and dragging her on his lap forcefully by her hips. Oh. Now she could feel him wanting her. Then he kissed her again, wanting, promising, consuming her. "Can you feel how much I don't want you right now, huh?" He seemed aggravated but stayed calm and waited for her answer.
She felt insecure. What was this about? She wasn't one to handle emotional encounters like this very well. Where should she have learned it from? But he seemed...hurt by her accusation.
"I-I'm sorry, I mean yes, I mean no, I mean..." he looked at her, expectantly, "I mean..." and when she realized she wouldn't find the words to handle the situation right, she decided to show him as well. Slowly she unbuttoned her shorts and pulled down the zipper. His expression went into disbelief when he saw what she did. But she was determined to pull this through. He ought to know. He probably knew already, but she had to emphasize on this, if she wanted him to understand. She slowly took his hand and guided him to her sensitive spot, which was showing signs of arousal that couldn't have been interpreted any other way. He looked up in the sky when she could feel him touch her there. It took two or three seconds and she could feel him lift a finger to examine what she wanted to show him. He breathed in sharply when she moaned from his fingers moving. Then she leaned forward next to his ear.
"Do you feel...how much I don't want you right now?" She whispered, emphasizing on the 'I'. Then she kissed his neck, enjoying a soft breeze entangling both of them.
She could feel him shiver with pleasure and his arousal getting more committed to...this. She could feel her heart beat against his chest. He didn't say anything about her question, but all of the sudden his unoccupied hand was on her back, while his mouth was kissing her hot and hungrily. She felt weird because his hand was still...there. But that stopped as soon as she felt him rub his fingers against her with a light force. It was heaven. She was moaning against his kisses and the kisses only made the whole thing more pleasurable. His fingers were moving slowly at first, but then they went faster and faster and she could feel that she was increasingly getting aroused to a point where even she thought it must somehow stop sooner or later. She could feel it in her panties and it was embarrassing her. She took his wrist indicating him to stop, but he wouldn't.
"H.M." she could feel her insides clench together.
"Do you have any idea..." he whispered in her ear, while keeping on moving his fingers "how much I want this? How much I think about this every day? "
"What? My...?"
"Yes, you. The whole you." he finished her sentence. "You have no idea, do you?"
"N-no I - ah!" She was feeling her Orgasm build up from all the talking and his skilled fingers moving around her.
"Jay?"
"Ah...y..yes?"
"I can't hold back anymore. Let's go inside." he said, almost in a cold, calm way. But there was something about it, that made her feel so attached to him, his determinedness to proceed with what they were both thinking about, that could have made her orgasm right on the spot but she just smiled, and before she could answer he was carrying her into the guest bedroom where she had slept last night. He gently laid her down on the bed, her shorts still open. When he turned around to close the door, Jamee could hear the ocean waves from outside through the tilted window. She could hear the door shut, and since it was dark, she could only see his silhouette walking towards her, kneeling on the bed and spreading her legs, laying down in-between them. She could feel him again. He kissed her passionately, on the mouth first, but then he started giving her tiny kisses to her neck and while he was doing that, he took off her shirt and bra, moaning aloud when he felt her breasts and gave them each a soft kiss. Her mind had lost it by then. She had helplessly surrendered to his touch. The only thing she could do was moan and move whenever she felt his burning trail of kisses down her stomach and belly and...oh. Her panties. He was kissing her there!
"H.M.!"
"Shhh. It's okay Jay. I won't look." he seemed determined, too determined.
"But...it's-!"
But he didn't react. He grabbed her shorts and panties by the side.
"It's alright. Arch your back so I can pull them off." he kept on insisting. And maybe, maybe this was the right way for her to let him do this, she thought. Maybe he had figured that out.
She hesitated, but he indicated her to lift up her butt with a soft, upward pressure of his hands. She arched up and with a smooth move the pants and even her underpants were gone. And of course, when she checked she found that he did look at her most delicate parts.
"Hey! You said no looking!" she tried to cover herself but he grabbed her hands faster than she could react.
"I'm sorry I lied. But Jay, you don't really think I haven't seen what I wanted to see before?"
Well…he had a point there. There had been more opportunities where her thoughts were someplace else while they were together in that peculiar situation and he had had many chances to peek.
"I really want this." she could hear him say while she was trying to calm down. "And I'm sure you will like it, too. If you won't I'll stop right away alright?"
She hesitated. But then she knew she didn't have a choice. She wanted this man and she wanted him to be happy. And if being happy for him meant to…do that, well…she would at least try for him.
"Trust me?" he looked at her hopefully.
She thought again for a second. Then she looked at him and nodded. He smiled, but it was more of a smile of a man who had gotten what he wanted and was eager to get it. He continued his trail of kisses from her belly and when she could feel him reach her pelvis she shook involuntarily. Then, she could feel his breath on her and it was so arousing that she involuntarily moaned. The next thing was the familiar touch of his fingers, running along her, making her moan yet again. And then...she could feel his tongue.
"Ah!" she moaned out loud when she felt his hot tongue slide over her.
This was unbearable. She would come right away if he'd only do it faster, but his tongue kept on going up and down, up and down on her in a steady pace and she nearly went insane, not being able to hold back her moaning anymore as it came in regular intervals, but she wanted more. More of this. And she wanted it faster. This was so surprisingly good. She spread her legs and could hear him say something that sounded like…
"I told you, you would like it."
She looked down at him and he was looking at her from between her legs. When he licked his lips with his tongue Jamee nearly cried out loud, but instead, she threw her head back and he continued his slow torture, making her moan again. After a while she felt his finger around her again, putting pressure on different points as it seemed. She could feel her orgasm building up yet again. And when he inserted one finger into her, she lost it. Her moaning had gotten so loud by now she remembered that she wasn't supposed to be loud.
"H...M..." she huffed, "I ah! If you keep doing this…I…I can't...be quiet...ah!"
She could feel his hot breath against her as he spoke.
"You don't have to be. We're alone, remember? Tonight you can be as loud as you want. No one will hear you. So please, don't hold back."
He was right. They were alone. And with that sentence, all of her restraints broke and she let herself go. His finger was now moving inside of her while his tongue was swirling around her core. She could feel herself getting tighter and tighter, making it hard for him to move his finger, but he used a little more pressure every time she seemed to get tighter. He must've realized that she was close then because she could feel his tongue getting faster and faster, proceeding the sweet torture that made her go insane.
"Ah! H.M. I'm gonna..ah! I'm gonna...ah! Ah!" but she couldn't finish her sentence, because her body did it for her, riding out waves of pleasure she hadn't known she could have before. This orgasm was different. It wasn't deep inside it was right at her center. She realized that she was moving with his hand now and that she was moaning uncontrollably. And it felt so good to be loud. It seemed that she was having the orgasm for a much longer time than usual as he didn't stop caressing her while she was up in heaven. As it slowly subsided, she pulled her legs together, making him withdraw from her. But he didn't lie down next to her, she could feel the weight of the bed shift and she could hear a zipper. His zipper? The world was still spinning when she felt his hands on her knees, pushing her legs gently apart and lowering himself onto her. Huh?
"I'm sorry honey," he said, his voice strained "but I really can't hold back anymore."
And with a sharp sting, she felt him entering her slowly, painfully.
"God you're so tight." he took a sharp breath.
"Ah!" She really was tighter than normally. Was it from the Orgasm? She had read that everything swells up once you climax. But he did slide in faster than normal.
"You okay?" He said, once he was fully inside of her.
"Yeah." She was focusing on accommodating all of him.
"God…" was all she heard when he started to move. But as with the kiss before, he started to move fast from the beginning on. No slow pushes like she was used to. He was breathing harsh and she could even hear him giving small moans every now and then. With him being so wild, she had lost it again, moaning and clinging to his back with her hands. This was so good. She wanted more. More of him, more of this. He was moving so fast, she could feel another orgasm, deep down inside of her. She noticed his rhythm getting erratic. Was he about to...?
"Are you gonna come again?" he asked her through gritted teeth.
"Ah, yes…ah!" she definitely could feel it.
"Will it take...long?" he tried to keep up the pace.
"N-no. Ah!"
"If I go faster, will it…work?" his words were interrupted by his breathing while he asked her.
"Ye-ah! Yes!"
And he went faster, pushing deep inside of her again and again, until she felt herself clench around him again and the world was spinning around wildly. She could hear him moan somewhere far away as well, but her own body was exploding again and again inside of her while she was letting out every moan that had ever built up inside of her in those quiet nights. And it felt like she would dissolve into the air around her as she felt him pouring inside of her. She could feel the warmth of him expand. And with one exhausted exhale he collapsed onto her and their orgasms subsided.
When she woke up she felt hot. Hot and sweaty. She relieved herself of the blanket that she had wrapped herself into last night and opened her eyes to look around the room, now lit by a ray of sunlight. Murdock had moved into Face's room last night to make sure he wouldn't find them clung together..naked…in need of an explanation of why he would find them like that. Jamee got up and when she stretched herself, noticed that her muscles were sore. Especially a certain area of which she didn't even know that she had muscles there. She opened the curtain and looked outside. The sun was shining as brightly as the day before and it immediately put a smile on her face. Jamee stretched a few more times until she felt more than pain while she moved her muscles, she felt an itch, a need to move even more and decided to go jogging before she'd take the shower.
When she went into the kitchen she saw Murdock up and awake, drinking a cup of coffee and reading some old magazine. She immediately blushed as memories from last night crossed her mind and checked the room for any traces of Face's silhouette but couldn't find him. Maybe he was still asleep. She hesitated for a moment because she wasn't really sure what to do, but before she could decide, he took the first step. She hadn't even noticed that he had seen her.
"Good morning." he said and turned around on the chair.
"Good morning." She whispered back and smiled like a fool.
"Sleep well?" he asked casually while he lifted his arm and motioned her to come closer to him.
"Yeah…Face?" she asked while she started to move towards him.
"He's still gone. I guess he took his chance, now that he knows I'm with you. Come here."
Jamee checked the room once again just to be sure but there really weren't any signs of Face being around. She stopped in front of him, but Murdock softly grabbed her by her waist and pulled her onto his lap. Then he placed a kiss on her shoulder. Then another one on her neck and at last, on the mouth, just a small peck but enough to get her heart ready for jogging.
"You look like you're ready to go somewhere?" he asked, when he looked down on her, noticing she had put on running shoes.
"Yeah I…I wanted to go jogging before I take a shower, I won't be long."
"Let me come along?"
"No way, you're way stronger and faster than me. You'll laugh at me." she was serious, but he just chuckled and wrapped his arms around her.
"I'd never laugh at you." Then he whispered in her ear. "Unless you did something really really funny and I couldn't resist laughing because it would look funnier than a gang of lobsters having a knife-fight."
"Okayyyy…but still, I'm gonna go, you can watch some cartoons or something while I'm gone okay?"
"Yayyy, Cartoons are my favorite, how'd you know?" he joked.
"Oh honey. I just see it in your eyes." she gave him another kiss and got up. "And in the way you mercilessly quote them whenever I'm around you, you little kid." she snickered.
"You like it." he said, giving her a mischievous look and Jamee couldn't resist but to smile.
"I'll see you later." she turned around to leave, grabbing her sunglasses as she started walking towards the door.
"See ya." he said. It was hard for him to let her go by herself but it was a step in the right direction. She had to gain back a lot of self confidence and it wouldn't happen by itself.
Jamee felt good. Jogging in the sand was harder but it was a great feeling. She had the walkman fixated to her hip with a belt. Jogging with music on really was so much better. And with the ocean breeze in her hair she did make quiet a distance.
Few people were on the beach. She passed groups of them from time to time. Exhausted parents trying to get a little more rest while their lively offspring was already building sandcastles and running around the shore, an elderly man with a fishing hat, a young man also jogging, but with his dog accompanying him. She could be jogging forever around the beach and look at other people. Life was so interesting and exciting and at the same time so calm. For them, this was normal, they all seemed like they couldn't care less. For her…it was the greatest. Being outside, free to do whatever she wanted and if she wanted to go grab some fries right now she could've done it. Not being locked in. She knew they were looking for her but a little jog on the beach wouldn't put her at a big risk. Plus the sunglasses and her ponytail were good enough a disguise - she looked just like the average jogger.
She decided to turn around after a while and head back to the cottage. She jogged a few feet, but then she saw something that made her heart stop. She slowed down as she jogged towards her. She was so sure it was her, the same girl from the VA. Jamee took off her sunglasses. The brown hair and those bright, caramel colored eyes one could see from 20 feet away. The girl was looked at her. Jamee kept on jogging, taking off her headphones. She just knew that that face wasn't an unfamiliar one…but where…had she seen her before? The girl began to move towards her and Jamee slowly came to a stop as the girl made a last few steps towards her until she was about 3 feet from her. Those vibrant eyes were examining her nervously and Jamee noticed that she was almost shaking. The girl opened her mouth and the word came quiet, in a whispered, almost strangled sound.
"Crystal…"
And then it all happened in seconds. Jamee felt like someone had punched her in the head with a brick, it was an excruciating pain, she screamed for a second when she remembered exactly from where she knew that girl. And the last thing she saw was her beautiful beach in the morning sunlight heading right for her face.
