Kendall's POV

"Kendall!" Carlos screeches as he runs to me. I'm almost knocked over by his hug. "You've been gone for too long, buddy."

"Yeah, it's great to see you, it's been really boring around here," Logan says calmer than Carlos while giving me a welcoming pat on the back.

I put on a fake but sincere smile on my face, "It feels good to be home with you guys though." I want to add how they will never leave me like some people would but I don't.

I step past them and step into my house with my suitcase rolling behind me. About halfway through the flight I stopped being upset about James. I became mad, I'm furious. My blood is boiling and my face burns of rage. I am completely over my sadness; I'm done being depressed.

Logan and Carlos follow me inside and sit on my bed while I unpack my suitcase. I zip open the big flap.

"So," Logan says, "meet any hot girls in LA?" He asks, intrigued. I knew they would ask that first.

"Well," I reply hesitantly while shoving clothes into my hamper.

"Oh c'mon Kendall give us all the details!" Carlos practically yells while bouncing on my bed like a little kid.

I think for a second, they don't know about James at all and I don't plan on telling them. I think I'll, just bend the truth a little bit, so it won't be a complete lie. I smirk, "Fine, her name was Jame..." I stutter, "uh, Jamie. She is tall, has brown hair and hazel eyes. Just gorgeous."

Logan and Carlos are on the edge of their seats, just their faces I knew they wanted more of the story they believe is true.

"Well," I continue, "I met her on the beach. She was wearing a blue swimsuit that went great with her skin tone. She was playing frisbee with her friends and it flew near me. We happened to start talking and we really hit it off." I decide not to tell them about getting knocked out by the flying disk. It sounds a lot less romantic just telling a story than it actually was.

"Oh yea buddy, did you do... stuff?" Carlos asks with an awkward wink.

I look down at the floor, I'm sure my face face is beet red.

"Kendall, oh my god. You actually did it?" Logan asks, really surprised.

I nod and look away, suddenly feeling empty. I gave such a special thing to James and everything is over. I can never have it back and I will always have my first be James, no matter what terrible note we ended on.

I manage to pretend to be happy and I say, "yeah it was great. One of the last nights I was there, Jamie came to the hotel and we kissed in the elevator. Things just started heating up from there." I smile a little and laugh.

"Good job, Kendall." Carlos speaks with a smile, "So what happened as you left?"

I tell them three simple words, "We ended it."

Period. The end.

"We'll sorry about that man, but there are plenty of great girls don't worry." Logan gets up from my bed with a smile. "Are you done unpacking?"

I nod.

"Great, lets go watch tv and chill like old times," Logan says bounding down the stairs. I follow behind him and Carlos and dive onto the couch.

"Whatcha wanna watch Kendall?" Carlos asks while jumping onto the couch.

"I don't care, put on whatever. I'm going to get some chips." I hear the tv click on and I move into the kitchen. I grab some Doritos and put them in a bowl when I hear Logan say, "um... Kendall?" With uneasiness in the other room.

I grab the bowl and walk into the room where Carlos and Logan and sitting on the edge of the couch staring at me with their mouths hanging open.

"What?" I asked concerned. I glance at the paused television screen and drop the bowl in my hands, chips spilling everywhere.

"Kendall..." Logan chokes out, "J-Jamie wasn't a girl was she?"

My knees turn to jelly and I feel like I might puke, because the television program is showing a picture of me making out with James Diamond.
