Chapter 9

Author's note: Okay, earlier chapter was just an insight of how they were then and what had happened in the hotel(A lot more happened than that) , this chapter will continue the pregnancy. Notice anything different about Cloud?

Cheesecake. It looked so delectable, it's crushed graham crust held together by a tad of oil, the top layer a rich cream that smelt sweet though sour, the perfect mix of two very unlike food groups. And oh the deliciousness of different types of fillings and toppings that made the sweet and sour taste of it a sweet tang. "Uh, which one do you want?" Zack asked as he waited by my side in a cheese cake factory, a line forming behind us as I thought over what I wanted. It all looked too good, my eyes lighting up as I looked at one only to want another. I cleared my throat and looked up to the cashier.

"I'll like one of each, no whip cream please," I ordered, the wreckage of a lady popping her gum, the simple act offsetting her red wig, her packed eyeliner smearing as she wiped her face with a towel, my lips turning down as I tried not to tell her how she looked. I had a creepy feeling she already knew. Zack ordered a simple slice of the strawberry cheesecake, saying he never really enjoyed such rich foods to begin with as he payed. We sat at a table as we waited for them to get our orders, my fingers tapping lightly on the table as I swung my legs, the chairs and tables placed higher so the view of the sun setting, which was ruined by all the pollution clouds, would be more exaggerated, at least that was what I think it said on the window outside.

"You seem happy," Zack pointed out, lifting an eyebrow in question as he leaned back in his chair, throwing his arm over the back of it. I grinned shrugging my shoulders. Zack smirked. "Spill it," he said in a semi whisper, the woman next to us leaning a tad bit closer as she pretended to read her book. I stared at her for a moment till she looked up than quickly looked away, clearing her throat as she went back to her respectful position. Nosy bitch. I cleared my throat and smiled, leaning toward Zack a bit, Zack also leaning closer. "There is no real reason as to why I'm happy so when I know, I'll tell you," I whispered, Zack's smile falling. "Okay that's cold," he said as he sat back though the smile returned.

"So, you and Sephiroth, how has that been going?" Zack asked, my smile faltering. "We are not together Zack. We haven't in fact talked to each other in four weeks," I said with a slight frown, hating where this conversation was heading. Zack's eyes widened and the lady next to us gasped, looking to me sympathetically. "Can you please stay out of this," I snapped at her, Zack raising an eyebrow as the lady left her seat with a huff, moving one table down, not as far as I had wanted her too. "Okay, when did you stop respecting the elderly," he asked, the lady growling as she moved farther away. I snorted. She hadn't looked that old, unless you counted her hairy mole on her nose and the heavy, fat bags under her eyes. Okay she looked old.

"I'm not disrespecting the elderly, I'm merely trying to remove her from our conversation," I said with a sigh, Zack nodding his head in understanding. "I hear you, wait a second, don't change the subject! What happened between you and Sephiroth? You guys practically had your tongues down each others throat, and don't even get me started where his hand was at," Zack semi whispered before looking around, leaning closer. "Did he start ignoring you?" Zack whispered, my eyebrow twitching. No, he raped me with a creepy ass smirk on his lips. "No, we both like to top, and he wanted me to be on the bottom. I tolerated it once for the pleasure but doing that again is out of the question," I replied, sighing irritatedly. Not that my protests stopped him from trying and succeeding.

Zack winced and looked over his shoulder when they called his name, jumping out of his seat and getting the big platter they placed on the counter, lifting it with ease and bringing it to our table. "Your going to get fat if you eat all of this," Zack informed when I picked up the original, wanting to taste it first. I pouted, looking to all of the cheesecake before me. But I wanted all of it. I looked to my belly. It still had a small roundness to it but on the scale I had gained a good five pounds, my instructor already back to pushing me harder to lose the sudden weight I was gaining from fat and trying to replace it with muscle.

There were originally 31 flavors of cheesecake but I had only been given ten, seeing how that is all they actually had. I didn't really mind but now that Zack had pointed out that I'll only get fatter and not more muscular I was feeling guilty. I sighed sadly. "Can you ask the lady for something I can pack these away in," I said sadly, knowing I was going to have to go on a healthy diet. Zack nodded, his cheesecake only half eaten as he got up to ask the lady, her sudden flirtatious smile showing a row of white straight teeth. I frowned in confusion. Why go mess that up that smile with your face?

"What are you going to do with all this cheesecake?" Zack asked as he carried them in a cake holder, the original one I wanted to taste uneaten inside of it along with it's brethren. "Only eat one when I accomplish something I guess," I said grudgingly, Zack chuckling as he ruffled my hair. "It's okay Spikey, every one has to go on a diet one day," Zack tried to joke, my ever present frown not leaving. It was planning to stay for quite a while. Zack bit the side of his bottom lip, trying to think of how to cheer me up. "Want to go to the corner store and buy most of their chocolate?" he asked, my frown not lifting. "I'm on a diet," I grumbled, Zack smirking as he pulled my ear.

I swatted his hand away but a small smile was trying to pull at my lips, my stubbornness not allowing it to happen. "We could always get the Pershey's, they don't count as cheating your diet," he supplied, my smile bursting as I jumped with delight, becoming momentarily dizzy as I giggled, Zack balancing me out. "Careful, I don't want you to faint," Zack said in a stern voice, my smile growing bigger as I nodded. Since Zack loved to spoil me he bought all of the store's Pershey's, my hands over flowing with chocolate as I tried to restrain a hysterical laugh. Chocolate! We went back to his apartment and ate almost every single one, saving some for Sephiroth since Zack said he liked chocolate too, my frown displaying how unhappy I was about that. Sephiroth could go buy his own goddamn chocolate.

About thirty minutes to ten and my curfew there was a knock at the door, my eyes glued to the TV as I sprawled myself on my side on his comfy old couch, Zack grunting as he got up to answer the door when it was obvious I wasn't going to budge. Tory was about to come on at ten and I could hardly wait, but when I heard Sephiroth's deep voice I wasn't so sure I wanted to see it anymore. I turned the TV down a tad to hear what they were talking about but it was still too loud, their voices mere whispers. I sighed annoyingly. Of all times Zack wanted to talk quite just had to be now. "Hey Spikey, can you stay here with Sephiroth? I got to do something very quick," Zack asked loudly from the doorway, my head hitting the cushion as I groaned. Why Zack? Why?

"Yeah!" I yelled, gritting my teeth as I tried to resit the urge to run to the bathroom and avoid him. "Thanks Spike!" Zack yelled before he walked Sephiroth to the love seat across from where I was, my frown heavy as he left the living room and pulled on his shoes then left the apartment completely, leaving us alone together. "Did he force you to come here?" I asked even though my eyes stayed glued to the screen, seeing Sephiroth nod through my purview vision. I sighed in irritation. I wonder why I even talk to Zack sometimes. "You've put on some weight," Sephiroth pointed out, making me feel self conscious. "And?" I asked while narrowing my eyes, Sephiroth not responding at first.

"You look nice like that is all I'm saying," He clarified, my eyes darting to him before back to the screen. He was just trying to sugar me up I knew so I tried to ignore him and pretend he wasn't there, but since it was Sephiroth, that proved to be actually pretty difficult. "Are you still mad over what happened?" he finally asked, breaking the ice. I glared at him, not believing my ears. "You raped me Sephiroth, that's not something that people just get over," I said in a calm tone, Sephiroth sighing as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "It wasn't rape-" "Yes it was," I snapped, Sephiroth narrowing his eyes at me.

"You weren't exactly pushing me away," he retorted, my eyes rolling. I couldn't believe this guy! I muted the TV since it seemed to not hear me properly then stood up and threw a pillow at him, Sephiroth catching it easily. "I didn't push you away? I didn't push you the fuck away?! I was trying with everything in my body too but I was still under the mako's effects! I protested, hell I even screamed for you to stop but you kept on going! You clueless asshole was it really not that obvious that I didn't want it?" I yelled, Sephiroth standing and making me back up a step. "Well maybe if you hadn't been such a nagging bitch I wouldn't have needed to do anything," he retorted in an aggravated tone, my nostrils flaring.

"A nagging bitch? Well if I had been such a nagging bitch why didn't you just throw me out? Your father must have done that to your mother. She probably didn't want you anyway!" I yelled, knowing I past the line when Sephiroth tensed and his eyes widened slightly. But I was to driven by my anger to stop. "Who knows, maybe your father raped your mother like you raped me. I wouldn't be to surprised seeing as the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree," I snapped, Sephiroth's eyes narrowing dangerously. "Cloud," Sephiroth said in a warning tone, but I payed no mind to it. "Don't Cloud me! Hell don't even say it! I can't stand to look at your motherless ass anymore," I growled, Sephiroth walking up to me and slapping me.

My head snapped to the side painfully, my cheek throbbing as tears burned my eyes. "Don't you dare talk about my mother," Sephiroth hissed, his anger seeping through his facade of stone. I finally got a reaction, but I had only wished it hadn't hurt as much as it did. I sniffled, backing up as I tried not to cry full out in front of him, Sephiroth sighing as I put a hand over the forming bruise, pulling me into his arms. I pounded on his chest and struggled but he wouldn't let me go so I began to cry, grabbing his leather jacket as I buried my face into his chest, my tears sliding down his skin.

"I hate you," I sobbed, Sephiroth running his fingers through my hair as he sighed out "I know," scratching my scalp with his nails. The head massage was welcomed even though I wished it hadn't been from him, punching his chest weakly as I shook against him. My sobs eventually fell away till I merely sniffled and hiccuped, letting Sephiroth run his fingers through my hair as we just stood there for a long moment. Sephiroth's skin was warm against me, the warmth surprisingly comforting as I closed my eyes, enjoying the fingers that skillfully massaged my scalp. "It's past your curfew," Sephiroth said all of a sudden, a small hum my response. Sephiroth sighed, realizing I honestly didn't care. But to be honest, I think neither of us really wanted to move.

He moved us slowly to the couch, sitting down before placing me in his lap, my mind to exhausted to over think what was happening. I breathed softly as I curled into a small ball, rubbing my cheek against his chest. I felt content in his arms which held me as if I was something special, his eyes concentrated on my hair as he slipped his fingers between my spikes, causing a shiver to run through me. "You cold?" he asked quietly, my eyes closing as I shook my head no, trying to scoot closer to him as I put my arms around his neck to balance myself out. "No, just feels good," I mumbled, Sephiroth nodding his head as he continued his treatment.

We sat there for a few minutes until Sephiroth lightly grasped my chin, turning my head up. I opened my eyes blearily, looking into his eyes that seemed to glow brighter than I have ever seen them, the light of the TV dancing on the side of his face and giving his skin an unearthly glow, his pupils slitting slightly. My mouth fell open slightly and his eyes darted to it, his pupils widening slightly before returning to my eyes. I wasn't sure who moved first but when our lips touched a wave of electricity ran through my body, the hair on my arms standing up. The kiss remained tongueless and sweet for only a few seconds before I separated my lips, his tongue hungrily plunging into my mouth.

The sound of lips parting and coming back together was loud, the rustling of clothing a soothing undertone as I moved my position to sit more comfortably in his lap, my knees on either side of his hips. I placed my hands on his shoulders before sliding them behind his neck, tangling my fingers into his hair and pulling lightly. Sephiroth groaned and held my hips, pulling me closer as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss further, lifting my shirt slightly and rubbing his thumbs in small circles on my hips. I shivered and leaned more against him, rubbing my groin against his stomach.

He groaned into the kiss but then pulled away, turning his head away when I tried to reclaim the kiss. We were both panting as he lowered me down till I sat fully in his lap, making it harder for me to reach his lips. "We can't do this," he said, my lips pulling into a frown. "If its because we are in Zack's apartment than we don't have to worry, he probably wanted us to do this anyway. He most likely went to Kunsel's apartment," I assured, Sephiroth smirking. "I know, but I don't think your ready for this," Sephiroth pointed out, my frown deepening. I opened my mouth to argue but he put a finger to my lips, my words falling away. "What if we do this, and tomorrow you say that I forced it on you? I could only take so much of that before I just give up Cloud," he reasoned, my eyes widening slightly.

I felt like I was charting uncharted territory, this vulnerability Sephiroth showed seeming alien to me. Sephiroth was many things, but vulnerable was not one of them. "And what we are doing is already illegal in itself. Cloud your not even seventeen yet and I'm twenty five. If you continue to say I am forcing you, do you know what would be the consequences?" he continued, my eyes down casting as I turned my head away. "I know," I whispered, Sephiroth kissing my neck before laying his head on my shoulder, the tingle of a heal thrumming through my neck to my cheek as he sighed deeply. I felt for once angry at something besides him as I ran my fingers through his hair. I hated him yet I wanted to be with him, but with our age differences the latter was slowly becoming impossible.

Of course Zack knew but he was more encouraging than disgusted, but that was only one man. What about the world? I sighed before kissing the top of his head, feeling like I was drowning. Before this would have never bothered us but after all we had gone through it could no longer be ignored. I was frightened but couldn't say why and Sephiroth seemed ready to just give up but I wanted this to last. I didn't know why but I felt I needed it too. I put a hand to my stomach unconsciously, rubbing a thumb around my belly button. I wanted this so badly, but how much longer before we both break under the pressure?

Note: I was listening to the Halo 4 soundtrack and nearly cried a few times because of the music. I feel like now also that every thing that's happening should sink in by now, so expect a lot of secret sex and uncertain thoughts.
