Chapter 11
Author's note: Forgive me for not posting for so long. My laptop battery fried because my aunty got the wrong charger. But now I have this small, portable tablet like laptop and things are finally going back to normal. Lets just hope I still have it. Oh and had a random thought, Sephiroth isn't fully human and I was thinking he would have a fathering instinct. I would say he would be a specific animal but it was proven by Jenova and his wings that he was a type of creature that can take upon the form of another for it's own survival. Seeing this, I was thinking I would give him the fathering instinct that makes him want to protect his mate while he or she is weak, so he would mostly likely not like it when other males are around. You're probably lost by now but I tried my best to explain my thoughts.
I sighed as I laid back on Zack's new, unstained couch, my head resting on the armrest as Sephiroth massaged my aching calves, his eyes watching Zack pace back and forth nervously. He had finally managed to convince Aerith to come to the upper plate. But he forgot to clean his place. So me and Sephiroth came over to help him. We used four entire garbage bags, got new furniture, and when we cleaned his fridge a small green thing fell out and chased me around till Zack hit it with a chair. My legs began to cramp so I sat down on the new couch and rested while Sephiroth and Zack cleaned up the rest seeing as how they both have started treating me like a fragile leaf.
"Stop pacing and just go to the station already," Sephiroth ordered, Zack looking up and raising an eyebrow. "What was that?" he asked, Sephiroth frowning irately. "Zack," I called to get his attention, giving Sephiroth a grow up look while sitting up. Zack looked to me and tilted his head, reminding me of a puppy waiting for his masters order. "Her train should be here in about five minutes, so go and get there now so she won't have to wait too long," I supplied, Zack grinning as he nodded his head, grabbing his keys. "You going to be alright?" Zack asked as he turned to me, my lips twitching as I forced a smile and tried not give into my urge to roll my eyes.
"Zack, go!" Sephiroth ordered sharply, making him jump and nod with a seepish grin. He left quickly and once he closed the door I punched Sephiroth's shoulder with an angered glare. "Stop being so mean to him, he's not a dog that's biting your ankles," I scolded, Sephiroth snorting as he met my eyes. "He acts like one," he retorted, my eyes rolling as I fell back and crossed my arms. "And you're nothing but a big baby. Why have you been so short tempered lately? You've been off for like a week," I asked, more curious than actually caring. Sephiroth didn't reply but went back to massaging my right calf, his thumb putting pressure against a knot and causing pain to shoot up my leg, my hiss making him stop and pull his hands away.
We were silent for a moment, my eyes closed as I thought of what to say, Sephiroth's own silence only thickening the ice. When I felt fingers trail up my short clad thighs I raised an eyebrow, popping one eye open to stare at him questioningly. His eyes flickered up from my legs to my eyes, his slitted pupils widening slightly. We have constantly been slipping into the bedroom for sex or having quickies in Sephiroth's office, and with every round he seemed only to become more strung, not less. It was starting to get annoying but I didn't want to say that to him seeing as how he was acting.
I sighed and laid my head back, reaching down and removing his hand. "Zack will be back here with Aerith soon. Just weather it till than, alright?" I asked, Sephiroth frowning. I closed my eyes when he got up, tilting my head away so I wouldn't be tempted to watch him as he went into the kitchen and sit in one of the chairs, scraping the floor loudly when he pulled it out. I wanted to get up and hug him but I fought it, rolling onto my side, staring at the white door blankly. I hated this. The silence made me feel depressed and desolate, tears moistening my eyes.
I got up, not able to stand to be there alone anymore, walking up to him and standing next to him. I bit my lip when he removed his head from his hands and looked to me, pushing out the chair and letting his left hand fall to his side. I sat on his lap and he wrapped his arms around me, my head falling onto his shoulder. "I'm sorry," Sephiroth whispered against my neck before kissing it, a small smile touching my lips. "Don't apologize. It doesn't suite you," I mumbled, Sephiroth snorting as he kissed my neck again before sitting back, tightening his arms around me.
I closed my eyes, letting his warmth comfort me, the strong scent of spice replacing the usual scent of leather, the darn suit hung up in the closet at his apartment. I had put him in a black button up shirt and dark jeans, something he wasn't to happy about. I had just rolled my eyes, he had to break his addiction with leather anyway. He rubbed his thumb over my slightly larger stomach, the small touch making me feel kind of self conscious. I had gained 11 pounds since we had sex in his office like a month ago and now I felt fat, though Sephiroth kept telling me I wasn't and I looked good, but how the hell can you tell when his ass is telling the truth?
I sat up when I heard the door open, squiggling till Sephiroth let go of me with an unhappy frown, a smile stretching my lips as I walked fast to the living room.
I stopped dead. I blinked but it seemed to do nothing to clear what I saw. "Cloud, say hello to Aerith," Zack said with a smirk, finding my blankness amusing. Green eyes stared back at me, the tilting of a head making a few strands of brown hair fall over a thin eyebrow. "So your Cloud?" her voice snapped me out of my daze, my brain kicking itself to rebute. "Yeah, I mean yes," I gushed, scratching the back of my neck as Sephiroth stepped up behind me, Aerith's smile becoming less concentrated and more friendly, her eyes moving to Sephiroth.
"The big bad Sephiroth I presume," she asked with a fond glint in her eyes, Sephiroth only nodding. "He's not much of a talker," Zack said sheepishly, Aerith turning to him and smiling. "It's alright though now that I'm here, what do you guys want to eat?"
Cloud chuckled and shook his head as Aerith ignored Zack's pleas to not put vegetables in his dish, Sephiroth sitting backwards in his chair. "Sephiroth stop being gloomy and do this for me," Cloud chuckled as he put down the knife, putting half of the cut cucumber in a bowl before stepping out the kitchen, Aerith turning away from Zack and waving them off with a smile. "You two go and enjoy yourselves. I'll continue and call you when I'm done," Aerith said in high spirited voice, Cloud turning to her and putting a hand on his hip. Sephiroth's eyes immediately traveled to his slim hips, wondering if he was up for sex at the moment.
"You are a guest Aerith, we should be working not you," Cloud protested, Sephiroth's eyes moving to Aerith to see her reaction, Aerith giving Cloud an are you serious stare, Zack taking a strawberry from the board where she had been chopping them, Aerith slapping his hand with a laugh. "It's alright Cloud, go cheer up Mr. Grumpy," Aerith encouraged, Sephiroth frowning as he narrowed his eyes at her. He resented that.
Cloud shook his head, Sephiroth getting up to follow as he went to leave the kitchen, Aerith watching them as they left, a small smile touching her lips. She hoped they would last.
I gasped when Sephiroth pinned me to the wall, his lips hungrily searching for mine as his left hand let go of my wrist to trail down my stomach, my eyes closing tight as I pulled away with a moan when he grabbed me through my jeans. "Shh," Sephiroth whispered into my ear as he rubbed gently, my teeth sinking into my bottom lip as I tried to smother my groan. Sephiroth was already panting, his breath hot against my cheek as he unbuckled my pants, my belt no longer able to fit. I shook my head as he fell to his knees in front of me, my fingers slipping into his hair, clenching the silky strands when he took me into his mouth.
"Seph," I moaned softly as my eyes opened sluggishly, looking down to his bobbing head only to look away just as fast. He pulled away and stuck three fingers into his mouth, looking up to me. "Spread your legs wider," he ordered, my protests falling away as my want for I knew was to come over came me. I spread my legs, closing my eyes as he pressed a finger into me.
"They seem like a normal couple," Aerith pointed out, Zack shaking his head as he reached for another only to be slapped away again. "When they started out it was hell," Zack said, leaning against the counter as he waited for an opening to get another strawberry. Aerith shook her head, giving him a strawberry before pointing a finger at him. "No more till it's done, you hear me mister?" Aerith said as she chopped up her last one and put it the bowl next to her.
"How was it bad?" Aerith asked, Zack munching on his strawberry thoughtfully."Well, he said before swallowing, shifting from one foot to another. "Cloud had seemed to like him enough, but after he came back from his hometown he started to seem like he was keeping Sephiroth at arms length. And Sephiroth seemed aggravated whenever someone mentioned his name. They both have seemed to improve but, to be honest, this wasn't what I had expected from a relationship. Zack made funny hand movements, looking to Aerith questioningly.
Isn't it supposed to be all lovey dovey at first?" he asked, Aerith shaking her head with a smile. "Not always Zack. I think they seemed lovey dovey enough though, if Sephiroth's wandering eyes meant anything," Aerith giggled, Zack grinning as he stood up straight. "Watching a little too closely aren't we?"
I panted as I rested against him, my hands lightly fisted in his hair. "You know I'm not going to let this happen in his apartment again right?" I asked, Sephiroth snorting as he held a little closer before letting me go, letting me slide down the door slowly. "We know very well you won't say no," Sephiroth said as he placed my feet on the ground, leaning down and kissing me. I frowned as memories of that night flashed in my mind, putting my hands against his chest and pushing him away a little, closing my eyes as I lowered my head, my protests ringing shallowly in my ears.
"You alright?" Sephiroth asked as he pulled a handkerchief from his back pants pocket and clean his hand. I looked up and smiled shallowly, trying vainly to dispel the memories. After it all, what had become of me? "If it makes you feel any better, you know I think your sexy right?" he said, kissing me again. I sighed into the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck. Is that what he thought that night, or had that not even passed his mind?
Note" Mwahaha! I'm writing again! I feel awesome! I just came from a party and finished this chapter seeing as how I started it like two days ago. Hopefully we get back into the rhythm again and back to daily posts. Hope you like!
