Flashback: We got everything we needed like shoes and accessories and paid and left because we were cutting it close to lunch. We sped home and ran upstairs and hid our dresses and other accessories in my closet since we both knew that neither of the guys would ever think to look in my closet. We walked downstairs and the four of us went out for lunch.

Bella's POV:

Elena and I talking about the ball and everything we were going to do like our hair and our nails. You know just being girls. I looked over at Damon and Stefan and I saw them in what looked like a very serious conversation. I almost laughed at the faces Damon was making. Stefan on the other hand looked like he was trying to get a point across to Damon. I tapped Elena's arm and got her to look over at the boys and it was almost hilarious. We both broke out with laughter and the boys stopped their conversation and looked over at us like we were nuts. That made us laugh even harder.

After we finished lunch we decided to go back to the boarding house. When we got back to the house we were all sitting in the living room just randomly talking about stuff. I was sitting next to Damon and he had his arm wrapped around my shoulders, I was leaning into him comfortable as can be.

"What color tie should I get to match you dress?" Damon asked.

"Light Green" I replied with a giggle.

He smiled back at me. We cuddled on the couch for a little while longer and before we knew it, it was 9:30 at night. After a while we decided to go to bed.

Day of Founder's Day Ball

This morning, Elena and I decided to spend the day getting ready together. Elena came over around 10:30 and we decided that we were going to go to do our nails first. Elena and I did our nails the exact same. We both painted our finger nails and toe nails with French tips. We gossiped and shared stories about Damon and Stefan. We giggled about the stuff we were sharing and talking about. When our nails were dry we both decided that we would do each other's make up.

Elena's make up was a simple base and foundation, with a brown smoky eye for eye shadow. My makeup on the other hand was simple base and foundation like Elena, but I had a green smoky eye for eye shadow and I also put a little powder bronzer on so I looked like I had a little bit of a tan. We both agreed that so far we looked amazing.

We figured that we had a little time to kill so we stopped for lunch. We made sandwiches, and had lemonade to drink. We had kicked the boys out of the house for the day so they couldn't spy on us while we were getting ready, and also so they wouldn't distract us and somehow ruin our makeup. It was around 4:45 when we realized that we only had about an hour to get our hair done and get dressed before the boys would be bugging us telling us that it was time to go.

I curled Elena's hair and then put some sparkly pins in her hair to pin it back in a few places. Elena curled my hair super simple she just curled it and left it alone but I went and sprayed our hair with hair spray and put glitter in it. We both giggled because there ended up being glitter all over Damon's bathroom, and we both knew we would be in so much trouble when he saw it. We looked at the clock and saw that it was already 5:35. We had ten minutes to get ready which wouldn't be a problem for us. Elena got dressed first so I could help her into her dress. I got dressed next and then we added our accessories, necklaces, earrings, shoes, bracelets, the really simple stuff.

The next time we looked at the clock, we saw that we were ready exactly on the dot. I heard Damon and Stefan downstairs and so we both got ready to walk downstairs. We walked down together and we could hardly keep it together because the boy's mouths dropped as soon as they saw us. Elena and I walked to our boyfriends and we headed out and on our way to the ball. Damon and I sat in the front seat while Elena and Stefan sat in the back. Damon and I held hands the entire way to the ball.

When we got to the party, we were greeted by half of Mystic Falls. People were drinking and having fun, when I saw Klaus and his family. Damon and Stefan pulled me and Elena into the hall to hear the family's speech before the party actually began. Before the speech we were just standing around talking. Damon was whispering in my ear about something and I was laughing but as I looked across the room I saw the people I wished I would never have to see again, standing there staring at Elena, Stefan, Damon, and I. I immediately froze. Damon sensed my change in mood and turned my head so I was looking at him. He didn't have to ask, but I could easily read his question through his eyes. I motioned across the room with my eyes and he looked over that way. I knew that look on his face. He was officially pissed.

I reached behind me and I grabbed Elena's hand and she immediately turned toward me and Damon along with Stefan. I grabbed Damon's hand with my free hand and he turned his head back toward us. He started to calm down a little. I saw that Klaus and his family were staring the speech so we all grabbed a glass of champagne for the toast. After the toast was over I realized that the man that I hated most of all was starting to walk towards me along with his family.

Damon went as ridged as I was and held my hand for dear life because he knew that if I didn't he would do something very bad. When the family approached us, we pretended as though they weren't there and continued a conversation as a group.

"Is that you Bella?" The man behind me asked.

I slowly turned around and smiled.

"What do you want….."

I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I was really busy with school and stuff. I joined the color guard over the summer so I got busy with football games and stuff. I also just finished exams. What better thing for Christmas, than an update! I hope you like it! Let me know with a review!
