FOOLED YOU :)

It was a beautiful day in Domino, the sun was shining and the sky was blue with the birds singing.

Solomon yawned as he walked through the hallways. He was heading to his toy room to see what he was going to do with the Jack-in-the-box, he decided that he was going to get rid of it before his great-grandchild was born so it won't get nightmares from the disturbing toy.

As he entered the toy room he stopped. He was in shock as he saw black soot on the floor near the fireplace, he went over to see what happened. He went wide-eyed as he saw the Jack-in-the-box completely burnt to a crisp to the point where he couldn't fix it, even if he wanted to.

"What on earth happened here!?" Solomon exlaimed.

As he walked closer to the fireplace, until he saw something else. He saw two figures laying near the fireplace, he went over and picked them up.

It was the Tin Soldier and the ballerina, they were covered in soot and their clothes were torn.

"How did you two get down there?" He asked.

He checked them out and was surprised they weren't either broken or melted from the fireplace. When he looked down on them, he saw something that truly surprised him.

They were holding hands.

Solomon blinked in confusion, than shook his head and smiled at them.

"Let's get you two cleaned up."

He looks behind him and saw the ballerina's castle. It was too beautiful to simply just leave in his toy room, he looks at the ballerina and soldier again with a smile.

He had an idea.

Everyone was turning in for the night. Solomon closed the shop early, he turned off the lights and went to bed, everything was silent in the shop. Nothing but the tick toking of the clock.

Until it struck midnight.

All the toys were coming back to life, they stretched and yawned and got out of their shelves. It was the first time in weeks that they felt free, since Gurimo is gone now.

Raphael and Valon were still sad that Alister and Violet were gone. Valon was more emotional than usual and Raphael was trying to keep himself together for Valon's sake.

Valon missed Alister's sarcastic remarks, their arguments and sharing their laughter after realizing the argument was dumb.

Raphael will miss the red-headed man dearly for his intelligence and bravery. His dearest friend and brother figure.

"Can't believe 'e's gone, for good this time," Valon says, "We finally got 'im back and 'e was taken from us in front our own eyes! An' now Viole's gone to!"

Raphael looks at Valon with a sad expression. "I know Valon, but they gave their lives up to stop Gurimo, and now he's gone and Alister and Violet are hero's. And there is one comforting thing about all of this."

"Wha's tha'?"

"At least somewhere, they have each other."

Valon gave him a little smile and nodded, he happy that at least Alister is with Violet and are happy in the afterlife somewhere.

Raphael stopped and looks up in shock. Valon bumps into him and fixes his hat.

"Raph? Wha's wrong?" Valon asked.

Raphael didn't say a word. When Valon looked up, he was absolutely speechless at what he saw. There was Violet's castle at the top of the shelf, they were certain that Solomon would throw it out after Violet died.

They heard footsteps. All the toy's stopped what they were doing and looked up, Raphael and Valon wee wide-eyed and were pale. Suddenly, two figures appeared before everyone and there was dead silence.

Alister and Violet were smiling down at the people holding hands, including at Raphael and Valon.

Raphael felt like he was about to have a heat attack and Valon was dumbfounded. Everyone was shocked to see them alive and well, than one of them clapped, soon everyone started cheering for them. Raphael and Valon over came their shock and smiled happily.

Alister helped Violet get down from the castle and everyone shook their hands, rubbed their heads and welcoming them back. Raphael and Valon started running towards them.

"Alister!" Valon exclaimed as he gave Alister a death hug.

Alister lost his breath and nearly lost his balance. Violet giggled from Alister's annoyed expression.

"Alister!" Valon exclaimed, "you're alive! You didn't burn into ashes!"

Alister had a bored expression. "Well who were you expecting? Barbie and Ken?"

Raphael was still surprised that Alister and Violet were still alive, "But how did you two survive? We thought you were burned along with Gurimo."

Alister explained himself after Valon got off of him. "At first Violet and I thought we were going to die, but at the last-minute I decided I preferred for the two of us to live. So I used the bow we used to trip Gurimo into the fire and whipped it around the metal pole to get us to safety, luckily we weren't close to the heat or we would of melted."

Violet smirked. "Of course Alister would be too stubborn to go down that easily."

Alister snorted. "I've already went through the sewer's and was inside the stomach of a fish, I'm not easy to take down."

Raphael chuckled. "We're glad you're back Alister."

Alister smiles at Valon and Raphael, he turned his head to Violet and took her hand again.

"Me to." He says.

Violet smiles back. "Well then, shall we get going?"

"Go where?" Raphael asks.

Alister turned away, embarrassed. "Did you have to say it out loud Violet?"

Valon blinked in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

Alister stiffened and blushed. Violet smiled and lifted her right hand, there was a tiny pink flower on her finger, Raphael took it all in and smirked.

"Wha'?" Valon asked, still confused on what's going on.

Raphael looks at Valon with amusement. "Valon, Alister asked Violet to marry him."

"..Oh...OH!" Valon exclaimed when he realized what was happening, he grinned at Alister, "Alister's gettin' itched!"

Alister wanted the floor to swallow him right there and everyone laughed.

Alister glared at Valon. "If you don't stop gloating it will change from my wedding to YOUR funeral Valon!"

Violet rested her head on Alister's shoulder and smiled.

"Good ol' Alister."

All the toys gathered around Violet's castle. Some were on the ground and shelves and the smaller toys were standing near the castle, the toy soldiers stood on each side of the stairs with Raphael and Valon as Alister's best men.

Alister wore his uniform with a pink flower on his shirt, while Violet wore a white veil with a bouquet of fake flowers. A small teddy bear preformed the ceremony as Violet and Alister stood side by side.

"Do you, Alister the toy soldier, take Violet the ballerina, as your lawfully wedded wife?" Says the bear.

"I do." Says Alister.

The bear looks at Violet. "And do you, Violet the ballerina, take Alister the toy soldier to be your husband?"

Violet smiles. "I do."

"Than by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife!"

Violet and Alister looked at each other and smiled. Violet wrapped her arms around Alister's neck and kisses him, with Alister returning the kiss and wrapped his arms around her waist, the toys cheered for the new husband and wife and threw paper flowers from below.

Raphael smiled and Valon cheered for Alister. "Yay Alister!"

Alister and Violet stood at the alter, completely forgetting everyone around them. Violet looked into Alister's grey eyes and he looked into her blue orbs, he lifted her chin gently and kissed her again.

Their nightmare was over, they saved the toy store and they can now live in blissful happiness. Now and forever.
