One-shot, told from the POV of The Hero's Shade from Twilight Princess. The Shade laments on his past regrets; struggling with his inner demons, never having closure regarding the abrupt departure of his fairy partner Navi, no one in Hyrule remembering his past deeds, and finally not being able to pass his teachings onto his descendants. Rated T to be safe.

The Shadow Invasion left wounds across both Hyrule and the Twilight Realm, and neither Zelda nor Midna are eager to face the task of binding them up. Old prejudices and weaknesses are laid bare, and the idea is posed of reuniting the two realms to prosper together. He laughed, as he always did when she was annoyed with him. "Really though, you miss him already, don't you?" She paused. "So it's that obvious, huh?" "Kinda." "Well, you try saving the world with somebody and not getting a little… attached." she nearly retched at the word.

The Hero of Time returns to Hyrule after his adventure in Termina, still searching for his lost fairy companion. But the Hyrule he left behind a year ago is changing, once more under the shadow of war, and the threat posed by The Gerudo King again looms large in his life. Part of what will hopefully become a series, building on canon and filling in gaps in the Zelda lore.

Link decides to stay and marry Marin, he can't bring himself to kill the islanders. He ends up having nightmares and his guilt slowly consumes him and influences the dream.

BotW/AoC - As Zelda struggles to unlock her powers, an errant comment from Impa lead Terrako to attempt something drastic: bring forth another Zelda to ask for help. It fails... but has an unexpected consequence. Link, Zelda, and Impa now remember all of their lives, and how they've fought the same battle over and over. And they're over it. They're ending the cycle. Now.

A young Link dreams of becoming an engineer, and not even being turned into a blind female keese by a servant of ganondorf that was in hiding will stop him - now her. But will the enemy of the spirit tracks manage to stop her?
