Ch. 22 Changes
Author's Note: Thank you for all the reviews and for reading. I really appreciate it. This story is only going to have 25 chapters so we are getting close to the end. This chapter is in Melissa's point of view because I wanted to include her conversations with different people. I hope you enjoy and thank you again.

It's funny how quickly time moves. One day you're a sad teenager girl with Daddy issues and a crappy boyfriend. The next you're a college student, Mommy, and girlfriend. Not to mention you have the best father figure ever. I knew Yale would bring so many good things to my life and Molly's. I would miss Mom and Dave so much.
Dave's been living with us a couple of months now. I feel so lucky to have my Mom and Dave. They have both been helping so much with Molly. I knew I would have childcare and Kendall at school but it just wouldn't be the same.
I had spent my day packing. We were leaving early the next morning. I wanted to spend some time with Mom and Dave tonight so I tried to hurry. I knew they would be home as soon as they could.
The team threw me a huge party yesterday. I was going to miss my honorary Uncles and Aunts. I knew I would be home but well it wouldn't be like now. The party had been so amazing. A lot of my old friends came. It was nice to be able to take time to not just thank everyone but, to say goodbye.
Kendall has been acting really strange. I was a little worried. I mean at school all we would have is each other and Molly. Our relationship has been slow. I knew he didn't want to rush me.
I was mostly looking forward to school. I was ready for the challenge. I was concerned about a few things. First of all I was concerned about Molly adjusting. Secondly I was worried about Kendall and me if things would ever move forward. And lastly I was worried about the family housing Molly and I would be living in. Dave and Mom were upset at the housing when we went to see it. The apartment was small and really noisy.
I saw my Mom in the door way. Her eyes were watering. I knew she was about to cry. I quickly hurried to her. We hugged each other. I knew she was going to miss me and Molly so much. I was glad Dave was here so Mom wouldn't be alone though.
"Oh Melissa I'm going to miss you so much." Mom said crying.
"I'll miss you too Mom." I said hugging her harder.
"I want you to call me everyday." She said.
"I will Mom." I responded.
"If you or Molly needs anything at all I want you to let me know." Mom said.
"I promise I will." I said.
"Take lots of pictures too. I want to see my girls having fun at Yale." She said.
"I love the camera and I will send you thousands of pictures." I responded.
"Oh baby how time fly's. One day you were just a baby and the next I'm sending you and your own baby off to college." She said.
"Thank you Mom for everything." I said sincerely.
"You're so welcome. And I'm so proud of you." Mom said crying again.
"I love you Mom." I said.
"I love you too my sweet Melissa." Mom said just like she did when I was a little girl.
"Hey there you two." Dave said causing us both to look up.
"Hi Dave." I said.
"Bella can I have a moment alone with Melissa?" Dave asked Mom as he hugged and kissed her hello.
"Yes I'll go spend some time with Molly." Mom answered.
"How's the packing going?" Dave asked as we were left alone.
"I'm done." I answered with a sigh.
"Um Sweetheart your Mom and I were talking. And well I have something for you from both of us." Dave said.
"Dave you both already got me a new car." I said still overwhelmed by that gift.
"Well this is for you incase you need something and can't wait or so you don't eat those ramon noodles that most college kids eat." Dave said making me laugh.
"Okay well what is it?" I asked curiously thinking it was a gift card or money.
"Here you go." Dave said handing me the card.
"This is a credit card with my name on it." I said in shock.
"It has a five thousand dollar limit. If you want the limit increased just let me know." Dave said.
"What will the payments be? How much interest is there?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter I will be taking care of all that. Just use the card if you need or even want anything. You're a smart girl and I trust you as does your Mom." Dave answered making me cry.
"Oh Dave." I said hugging him.
"I love you Melissa and you are my family, my daughter in all the ways that count." Dave said.
"I love you too Daddy." I said for the first time.
"I also have some news about your housing." Dave said a little choked up.
"What's that?" I asked.
"There's someone here to see you. There's been a change made in your housing." Dave answered.
"Dave no you can't pay my housing too." I said.
"I'm not talking about me or you're Mom. We had very little to do with any of this except our permission." Dave said confusing me even more.
"Hi Baby." Kendall said surprising me.
"I'll leave the two of you alone." Dave said smiling.
"What are you doing here?" I asked confused.
"I need to tell you something." Kendall said.
"You can't pay for my housing Kendall. You're going to be a student also." I said.
"I did something and I hope you aren't too mad at me." Kendall said worrying me.
"What did you do?" I asked trying to stay calm.
"I told the school you didn't need student family housing." Kendall answered.
"Why would you do that?" I asked angrily.
"Derek and Pen had a surprise for us. My family bought us a house. Your family paid to get the materials and help to fix it up." Kendall explained.
"We have a house together." I exclaimed.
"Yes we do." Kendall said.
"We're living together." I said blushing.
"There are four bedrooms. That way we can each have our own including Molly plus a guest room. Our families knew we need each other for support." Kendall explained.
"Wow I don't know what to say." I said still shocked but knowing how great it would be to have Kendall with Molly and me.
"Will you and Molly come live with me?" Kendall asked.
"Yes we would love to." I answered as he kissed me.
