Kagome yawned as she and Naruto walked into their apartment. She had had a long day. It wasn't easy keeping up with the energetic teenage boy.
"Hey Naruto I'm going to go to bed early tonight," she said with another yawn. Naruto nodded and jumped into his couch and turned his television on. Kagome smiled and went in her bedroom and changed into her Pj's. She then crawled in her bed and turned off her light.
It only felt like a couple hours when she was awoken by a sound in her room. She didn't open her eyes but listened. She could hear the thunder rumbling putside and the rain hitting the window, then she heard something or someone approach her bed and turned so her back was facing the edge of the bed. The figure stopped right next to her and she felt the person lean down towards her.
"Kagome..."
She stayed right where she was not moving a muscle.
"Kagome..."
The person started to shake her slightly.
"KAGOME!" The figure yelled and she nearly jumped out of her skin. She turned the light on and the figure turned out to be none other than Naruto.
"Don't do that you nearly gave me a heart attack!" She scolded while holding a hand over her heart.
"Hehe sorry," he said rubbing the back of his head. Kagomes eyes softened
"What the matter?" She asked in a soft voice.
He face heated up.
"Well, I kinda got scared of the thunder and lightning and was wondering if i could...stay in here... With you," he said looking down at the ground. kagome had to resist the urge to hug him and scream 'Kawaii!'
"Sure," she finally said and scooted over to make more room for the boy. Naruto may be 16 but he acted more like a little kid. She knew she could trust him and knew he wouldn't try anything while she was asleep. If he was like Miroku, then she would of had to shoo him away.
"Thanks,Kagome," he said and reached over and turned out the light.
"No problem," she muttered before falling asleep.
The next morning Kagome was awoken by the sunlight shining in her eyes. She groaned and rolled over and pulled the covers over her head.
"Im not ready to get up," she grumbled before sitting up and stretching her arms high above her head. She glanced at her alarm clock and stumbled out of the bed and into the hallway. Then she made her way into the kitchen where she found Naruto eating a bowl of cereal.
"Morning!" He grinned when he caught sight of her. She muttered a morning right back at him and proceeded to make some cereal as well.
"So, how did you sleep!" He asked after a moment of silence.
"Hmm im not sure. I had a certain blonde haired blue eyed boy sprawled across my bed leaving me pressed against the wall with hardly any covers," she grumbled.
He gave her an apologetic smile and pulled her from her seat.
"Hurry and get dressed! I want to introduce you to pervy sage!" He said changing the subject. She rolled her eyes and went to her room and changed into some of the clothes Sakura let her borrow.
Minutes later they were on the training grounds waiting for someone. Naruto was tapping his foot impatiently and Kagome sat against one of the logs.
Suddenly...
"Heyy Naruto!" They heard a voice call out then a cloud of smoke. When the smoke disappeared an old looking guy with long spiky hair stood there.
"Jiraya Sensei!" Naruto grinned at his teacher and pulled Kagome to her feet.
"Ooohhh who is this beautiful young lady?" He asked eyeing her up and down with hearts in his eyes.
Kagome's eye twitched,"Im Kagome and my eyes are up here!"
His eyes snapped towards hers and he smiled.
"Im Jiraya the toad sage!" He exclaimed.
"Ya Pervy sage helped train me for the chuunin exams!" Naruto said excitedly.
He then went into detail of how Jiraya taught him the rasengan.
"You PUSHED him off a CLIFF?" She growled dangerously at the toad sage.
He gave her a small nervous smile.
"Now, calm down. I had a reason for doing so," he said trying to calm her down. If he had learned not to anger girls with immense power.
Kagome crossed her arms and lightly tapped her foot on the ground,"Would you care to explain?"
"I was getting to that," he answered. She replied with a glare.
"When I was trying to teach Naruto to use his chakra to walk on water, I noticed the seal on his stomach. He had taken his clothes off so they could dry. Anyway the seal had been resealed so he couldn't access the nine tails chakra. It had been resealed by Orochimaru during the exams. So I released it and tried to get him to use it but he didn't know how so i put him in a life or death situation," Jiraya explained. He noticed when he mentioned Orochimaru, Kagomes eyes darkened.
"I see," she said after a couple moments of silence, "What else has this Orochimaru done?"
"During the Chuuin exams he and the sand village tried to destroy the Hidden Leaf. That failed however it came with a heavy price. He did manage to kill the third hokage," he said and sighed.
"What else?" She pushed on so she could have more than one reason to purify the bastard. So far she only had two.
"Well, he is the reason for Sasuke Uchihas betrayal. During the Forest of Death he gave Sasuke a curse mark and promised him power so he could destroy his older brother. However, Orochimaru only wants Sasuke for his eyes. The sharingan..." Jiraya trailed off leaving Kagome wondering wha this Sharingan was.
"What exactly is the Sharingan? Is it anything like Nejis Byaugan?" She asked.
He gave her a look. One she could not describe.
"Uhhh Pervy Sage Kagome isn't from around here... She is from a non ninja village..'" Naruto explained. Jiraya nodded in understanding.
"Actually im from another time period," she admitted shocking Jiraya.
"Hmm I see. Well since your new to this village...time period or whatever, i will teach you all about ninjas and their ranks and so on along with some of the bloodline traits. But that wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow at noon meet me at Ichirakus Ramen shop and we will discuss things there as well. Also Kagome Tsunade told me of your encounter with Orochimaru. He appears he is after you so watch your back," with that he disappeared.
Kagome stood up and stretched he muscles before turning to Naruto, "you ready to go?"
He nodded and they left to go back to Narutos house. She knew tomorrow was going to be a long day and she needed her beauty sleep.
A/n: sooo what did you think? The next chapter will be mostly Be about Jiraya and possible Kakashi educating Kagome and maybe teaching her a few things. ALSO Tanaka will be revealed in later chapters when Kagome decides she wants to improve her MIKO POWERS!
