"Kabuto did you find anything," Orochimaru asked as he saw him approach.
"I did," he replied holding out a scroll. Orochimaru snatched it from his hands hands and opened it.
"An arrow engulfed in pink light...what did they call it?" He asked.
"I believe Naruto said she called it a sacred arrow," Kabuto answered with a smirk.
"You know, you don't have to hide...Sasuke," Orochimaru said glancing in the direction he was in. Sasuke came and stood next to Kabuto with the same cold look.
"That girl with the arrows, she is very powerful. If the scrolls are correct then she is what people would call a...Priestess," Kabuto explained. Orochimarus smiled widened and his eyes glowed with lust for power.
"I will have that power," he said.
"Do you know what a priestess is?" Sasuke spoke, startling Kabuto.
"So he speaks," he muttered sarcastically.
Sasuke glared at Kabuto which sent shivers running up and down his spine.
"Do share with us, Ssssasssukkkee," orochimaru looked at the young Uchiha boy.
"A priestess is a holy being. If you even attempted to take the powers of one you'd be turned to ash," Sasuke explained and then left the room.
"That is a problem, Maybe we should bring her here instead. Kabuto..." Orochimaru gave him that look that said to go and capture the young priestess. He smiled and pushed his glasses back up and left with out another word.
"Kagome! Come on we have a mission!" Naruto grinned and the two raced to Lady Tsunades office. Kagome barely had time to strap her sword to her waist and grab her bow and arrows.
Before she knew it she, Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura and other boy she did not recognize, were in the office standing before Lady Tsunade.
She didn't hear all the details of the mission because she obviously wasn't listening.
"Be careful everyone, especially you Kagome," she warned,"dismissed!"
They all left and Kakashi pulled her aside.
"Kagome, Shikamaru said he wanted to talk to you today and that he will be waiting by Ichirakus," kakashi said. She nodded and thanked him before taking off in that direction.
Once there she saw the lazy boy leaning against Ichirakus.
"Hello Shikamaru, what can I do for you," she smiled at him.
"Come on, we need t go to a more private place," he answered, "I think we will go to Mr. Tanakas house."
"Ok?" She replied. She was rather confused,"Who is Mr. Tanaka?"
"He was the one to give m answers about priestess. Also he told me a story about amgirl falling into a well and ending up 500 years in the past," he explained.
Her eyes widened,"Ya don't say,"
The rest of the walk was quiet and soon they were at house. Before Shikamaru could knock the door swung open and Kagomes mouth dropped.
"Shikamaru Nara! Welcome back! Come on in. I see you brought your girlfriend with you as well!" He gave Shikamaru a sly grin.
"Shes not my girlfriend,"he muttered with a blush on his cheeks. Kagome then got a wicked idea.
"Oh no need to be so shy Shika," she said latching herself to him. This only resulted in Shikamarus blush to deepen.
She giggled and patted him on the back. Mr. Tanaka cleared his table and made them some tea.
"So how can I help you," he asked. Kagome set her arrows on the ground and Tenseiga on the table. She saw Mr. Tanakas eyes instantly went straight to the sword.
"What a beautiful sword you have there there," he commented. She mentally smirked.
"Do you know who's sword this was?" She asked folding her arms and laying her head on them.
He shook his head,"No."
"Its was the great Inu No Taishos then he passed on to his son, Sesshomaru,"
"Thats LORD Sesshomaru to you," he blurted.
"Gotcha, Totosai," she smiled.
"Well my cover is blown," he said.
"What just happened?"Shikamaru asked.
"Mr. Tanaka is actually a demon named Totosai. He was a blacksmith and even made this sword," she explained.
"A demon? So the story of the girl and the well..."
"The girl was me," she interrupted.
He nodded.
"How did you come to be here Totosai?" Kagome asked.
"The same way you did. I went to go see this well of yours and was sucked in and next thing I knew I was here," he then explained his story.
"I see..." She muttered.
For once, Shikamaru was confused but decided not to say anything.
"Oh before i forget, is this actually Kikyos bow?" Kagome asked laying the bow on the table.
"Nope!" He replied almost instantly.
She nodded and soon both Shikamaru and Kagome were heading out.
"Well I gotta go Shikamaru. See ya layer," she waved goodbye and left him standing there.
Kagome quickly got home packed some clothes and ran to meet everyone at the gate. She still had Tenseiga and her bow and arrows with her. She finally arrived to see everyone standing there besides Kakashi.
"Sorry im late," she apologized.
"Its ok. At least your not as late as Kakashi Sensei,"Naruto grumbled crossing his arms.
She smiled and after an hour past Kakashi appeared.
"Sorry, I was lost on the road of life," he said rubbing the back of his head.
"Liar!" Sakura and Naruto yelled at the same time.
"How often does this happen?" Kagome wondered.
"Everytime," Sakura answered.
"Well we can stand here forever complaining about how i was late or we can leave," kakashi stated instantly stopping Sakura from her lecture.
"Lets go!" Naruto grinned and walked out of Konoha and down the road.
"Why do I get the feeling that something bad is gonna happen?" Kagome thought to herself as she followed everyone...
