Kagome sighed as the group walked through the forest. She couldn't really understand why she had this edgy feeling. It worried her. She nearly jumped out of her skin when a hand touched her shoulder.
"You ok Kagome?" Kakashi asked.
"Im not sure. I get the feeling something bad is going to happen..." She sighed once more. Kakashi smiled.
"Everything will be ok. I won't let my comrades get hurt. Trust me," he reassured. Kagome gave him a smile. She could have sworn she saw a little bit of pink from the edge of his mask but he turned away to quickly and bent down.
"What?" She asked.
"We're going to pick up the pace," he said. She nodded and jumped on his back.
"Lets go!" She cheered. With those words said everyone took off in a run.
"Hey Naruto, doesn't it seem strange how Kakashi sensei looks happier when Kagome is around?" She asked glancing at him and Kagome.
"Ya he does. You think he likes her?" He questioned Sakura nodded her head and the two plotted to bring Kagome and Kakashi closer.
"Kakashi sensei do you think we could stop at the village for the night?" Sakura asked. Kakashi thought it over for a moment and agreed that they should and stopped at a nearby village.
"They have a hot spring!?" Kagome squealed in excitement. Kakashi rubbed the back of his head.
"Can we please go?" Kagome and Sakura pleaded. He sighed and nodded and the two girls raced towards the hot spring.
"Its a mix bath day..." Sakura said. Kagome shrugged and Kakashi paid for the bath and went to change.
Kagome and Sakura quickly undressed and wrapped themselves in a towel and got in the hot spring. They were soon joined by the other two. Narutos face was completely red when he caught site of Sakura and shyly slipped in along with Kakashi who pulled out his book and began reading.
It was actually awkward.
Kagome sighed in happiness and leaned against one of the rocks and closed her eyes.
"Well...im leaving," Kakashi said and snapped his book closed and got out.
"Uhh ya me to!" Naruto quickly got out and into the changing room.
"Ok then," Kagome muttered.
"Say Kagome, do you like Kakashi Sensei?" Sakura asked eyeing the teenage girl.
"Ya. I mean he is a very good friend," she answered. Sakura smiled at how innocent she was.
"No I meant like like," she said. Kagomes face turned red.
"I don't really see him that way, I did kinda get oit of a bad relationship..." Kagome sighed.
"Oh really? With who?" She asked. And thus Kagome explained her realtionship with Inuyasha and his constantly cheating on her with another woman.
"That idiot! If I ever meet this guy I'll kill him! CHA!(sp i think?) Inner Sakura yelled.
"Thats horrible!" Sakura commented after she finished her story.
"Ya... Well come on its getting late and im getting wrinkles from staying in the water too long," Kagome stood up along with Sakura and both girls went inside and changed. Then they met the guys who were waiting for them
"You ready?" Kakashi asked. All three of them nodded.
"This way to the rooms," the lady guide said and lead them to their rooms.
"Girls on the left boys on the right," Kagome said and went to her room followed by Sakura.
Kakashi and Naruto went into the other room.
The next morning the girls were awoken by a knock on the door. Kagome stumbled towards it and opened it.
"What?" She grumbled.
"Well good morning to you to," kakashi smiled, "You and Sakura get dressed. We have to go soon."
She nodded and closed the door and got ready to leave. Once dressed she strapped Tenseiga to her waist. The sword sent out a small pulse of energy and Kagome smiled. Then she put her bow and arrows on her back.
The two girls walked out ready to leave.
"Whats the deal with that sword?" Naruto asked eyeing it suspiciously.
"It was given to me. Of course the person who trained me taught me how to use it. But the swords name is Tenseiga. It was made from the fang of a powerful demon dog. It wasn't made to kill but made to heal. It can bring the dead back to life only once," she explained.
"Now way!" Naruto grinned. Kagome unsheathed the sword.
"Any volunteers?" She asked. No one spoke up so Kakashi stepped forward.
"I will," he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. She plunged the sword right through his stomach and he was kinda shocked.
"Theres no blood..." Sakura said in awe.
"Did it hurt?" Kagome looked at Kakashi. He shook his head and she pulled it out and put it back in its sheath.
"Not even a scratch," Naruto said looking at the spot where the sword had pierced him.
"Thats not all it does. It has this very powerful called meidÅ zangetsuha. It opens a path to the underworld and sends the enemy straight to hell," she smirked.
"Thats scary..." Naruto muttered.
"How is it able to revive a person?" Sakura questioned.
"Well, Tenseiga means heavenly rebirth fang. It allows the wielder to cut the beings to the underworld thus preventing them from taking the soul," she said.
"Coool," Naruto commented staring at the sword.
"All right lets keep going shall we," Kakashi spoke. Everyone nodded and their journey began once again.
It didn't take long to arrive to their destination. It took about an hour and a half.
"Where are we?" Kagome asked looking around.
"The sound village. Be on a look out for strange activity and Orochimaru," that name sent shivers up and down Kagomes spine and a image of those snake like eyes flashed in her head.
She took a deep breath and kept close to Naruto.
"Sasukee it seems that your team has been said to be in the sound village," Orochimaru said eyeing the boy in front of him, "I want you to take Kabuto with you and retrieve the woman in the group. Not that pink haired girl. The other one."
Sasuke nodded and he and Kabuto set out to wait for them.
"I will be the distraction. You just swoop down and grab the girl," Kabuto said. Sasuke stayed silent as the two made their way into the village.
It didn't take long to find them. Naruto stuck out like a sore thumb. Sasuke stood in a nearby tree and waited while Kabuto made his appearance.
"Well if it isn't Naruto Uzumaki and Sharingan Kakashi Hatake," Kabuto chuckled and appeared before them.
"Kabuto," Sakura growled glaring at the boy.
"If your here that means Orochimaru is to! Where is he!" Naruto demanded bringout a kunai in front of him.
Kabuto also brought out a Kunai and ignored his question and smirked.
"Hes up to something," kagome thought narrowing her eyes and notching an arrow into her bow.
"So thats her," Sasuke mused to himself as he watched her pull the string back. He saw Kabutos eyes widen.
"Oh ya, you were there when I shot at the one snake guy. I only grazed him. This time I wont miss," she let the arrow fly as it was instantly surrounded by her miko energy. Sasukes eyes widened a bit and he then understood why Orochimaru wanted the girl.
Kabuto managed to dodge. He then ran towards them his hand surrounded by his chakra. However he wasn't aiming towards everyone he was trying to isolate kagome from the group.
At last Sasuke find his opening and swooped down behind her. Kagome went to turn around only to be knocked out.
"Sasuke!" Naruto yelled. Sasuke knocked kagome out and slung her over his shoulder and disappeared.
"Kagome!" Sakura yelled, "Damn it!"
While everyone was distracted Kabuto also disappeared.
"They got away and now they have Kagome..." Kakashi sighed and did some hands signs and summoned Pakkun.
"Hey long time no see Kakashi!" He greeted.
"Ya. I need you to send word to Lady Tsunade that Kagome was taken by Sasuke Uchiha. Be quick about it. We will be there as soon as possible," Pakkun nodded and ran towards the hidden leaf. Kakashi turned towards Naruto who ha pd his back faced to them his hands were clenched into a tight fist.
"I'll save you Kagome. I promise!" Naruto vowed and with that the small group turned and headed to the Hidden leaf. Not a word was exchanged between them
A/n ahh sorry this chapter was bad... Lol im not a Pro at writing but I'm not an amateur either. Lol i will try and make the next chapter better. I promise.
