When Kagome awoke she found herself lying on the cold hard ground but with a blanket wrapped around her. She sat up and rubbed her eyes almost expecting to see the energetic boy run in the room and ask her to make breakfast. Instead she was met with an almost empty room. Though she did realize she wasn't alone, on the bed sat the guy with the cold eyes.
"Oh if it isn't mr. Duck ass," she muttered yawned.
Sasuke glared at her but said nothing.
"Whats your problem anyway?" She asked after he didn't say anything
"I was told to watch over you," he replied.
She sighed and it was silent for a few moments, "Whats your name?"
"Sasuke Uchiha," he said. Kagomes eyes nearly popped out of her head.
"You mean... From Konoha?" She questioned. He nodded his head
"Well now... I don't understand why a block head like Naruto would want to come and rescue a cold hearted bastard like you. You seem perfectly happy here...well at least I think," she said mostly to herself forgetting Sasuke was in the room.
"How do you know Naruto?" He questioned.
"I live with him duh! Not in the way you think it was either move in with him or move into your old place..." She answered. Sasuke stared at her for a moment making Kagome very uncomfortable.
Then the door opened.
"Sasuke, you can leave now. I have to prepare Orochimarus new body and get his medicine. The girl will stay locked up in here. You are free to do as you please," kabuto said.
"Ok, my name is not girl, Its Kagome. Say it with me Ka-Go-me!" She huffed and crossed her arms. Kabuto stepped aside and let Sasuke out of the room, his eyes never leaving Kagomes form.
"Fine, Kagome, you will stay in here until further notice," he smirked as she rolled her eyes.
"Not like I have anything better to do," she sighed and sat down on the bed as he closed and locked the door. Kabuto went to assist Orochimaru and Sasuke went to train.
After a while of training Sasuke sheathed his sword and looked over his shoulder to see Orochimaru. He came and stood next to Sasuke.
"You have done well Sasuke," he said. Sasuke turned and stuck his sword through Orochimarus mid-section.
"W-why?" He asked.
"You have nothing more to teach me," he answered. Orochimaru laughed and next thing they knew Orochimaru had brought him into his little world
((Ok ok i think you all known that Sasuke kills orochimaru soo imma skip all that and stuff..))
Sasuke walked through the corridor and was stopped by Kabuto.
"Wheres Lord orochimaru?" He asked.
"I killed him," was his reply. Kabuto stood there frozen as Sasuke showed him what happenes. Then he left after taking kabutos keys.
Kagome sat in her room/prison and stared at the wall. She had nothing else to do so she just stared at the wall. Being alone did give her time to think about...well...everything... Inuyasha trying to kill her along with Kikyo.
"I wonder how everyone else is doing..." She mumbled and sighed.
The door clicked and opened. She turned around and saw Sasuke at the entrance and walking towards her.
"Lets go," he said and grabbed her arm.
"W-what?" She asked. He said nothing and kept walking down the corridor. She yanked her arm free and crossed them and planted her feet on the ground.
"What are you doing? Do you not want to leave?" He asked and glared at her. She raised an eyebrow.
"So what? Your my knight in shining armor now?" She asked. She shook her head as he just kinda looked at her, "never,ind. besides im not going ANYWHERE without my weapons!"
He glared and left. She blinked and looked at the spot where he had just been.
"T-that bastard !" She growled to herself, "Maybe I should have let things be..."
Not long after that sentence did Sasuke come back, this time holding out her sword and bow towards her. She looked at him dumbfounded.
"T-thanks," she said and took the bow and arrows and slung them on her back and strapped her sword to her waist.
"Are you ready now?" He asked impatiently. She nodded and the two,proceeded down the corridor.
"Maybe he isn't such a bad guy after all," she thought to herself. They made it out of the hideout and into a forest.
"Sooo where are we going?" She asked while looking around.
"To go get Suigetsu,Karin and Jugo," he replied.
"Why?" She asked again.
"Because im forming a team," he answered.
"Oh..." She sighed and the continued walking for a while longer before coming across another hideout. They walked inside and Sasuke then released all the prisoners and went to another room.
Kagomes face went red and she covered her eyes.
"Suigetsu, come with me," he demanded.
"If your here then the rumors of you killing Orochimaru are true..." He said. Sasuks broke the container he was in and Suigetsu walked outside with Sasuke and Kagome, who held onto Sasukes shirt for guidance.
"I'll go with you on one condition," he started.
"What is it. Also put some clothes too," he muttered.
"Fine fine, anyway you have to help me get Zabuza sword. I want to get all of the 7 legandary swords," he said and the. Got dressed. Kagome uncovered her eyes.
"Fine..."Sasuke said and the trio began their search for Zabuzas sword.
"Hey Sasuke, who is that girl with you?" Suigetsu asked during one of their many breaks.
"My name is Kagome," she answered.
Suigetsu jumped down from his boulder he had been sitting on and looked her up and down.
"Why is she with us?" He asked looking at Sasuke with a blank expression.
"Shes strong," he replied. Kagome stared at him in shock. That was the first time she had been called anything but weak. She wanted to hug him right then and there.
"Why do you look so shocked Ka-go-me," suigetsu asked stretching out each syllable of her name.
"W-well...its embarassing to say...but That was the first time someone has called me anything but weak. It was always "your useless!" "Kikyo could do better!" "Your weak!" Blah blah blah," she sighed.
"Who the hell is Kikyo?" Suigetsu wondered. This also caught Sasukes attentiom.
"Damn..."she thought to herself.
"Welll?" Suigetsu pressured.
"Ugh fine," she saw no reason not to trust them. Sasuke did save her from Orochimaru, "Kikyo is a fellow Miko. In fact im her reincarnation, nothing but a copy cat! Ok! Im not from here. Before i arrived her I used to travel back in time, 500 years in fact, and kill demons!"
Sasuke was beyond shocked. He thought she was just some ordinary girl with a lot of power now he knew she was more than that.
"That doesn't explain who Kikyo is," Suigetsu muttered.
"That is a touchy subject right now considering she and my former lover and her past lover tried to kill me about a month or so ago," she explained glaring at Suigetsu and threw his hands in the air.
"Alright I get it. But I wanna see how strong you are," he smirked.
"Ok," she shrugged and brught her bow in front of her and notched an arrow. Suigetsu stood back and raised an eyebrow,
"I dont know how much damage an arrow is going to do to a tree..." He muttered.
"Shut up and watch," Sasuke replied watching Kagomes every move. She had her eyes closed and was standing very still.
She then released the arrow and it shone with a brilliant pink light and went right through the tree and stuck halfway into another.
"D-damn, that was awesome!" Suigetsu walked over to her and slung an arm over her shoulder, "i think we are going to get along just fine!"
"Lets go already," Sasuke sighed and walked ahead of them.
Almost two hours later Sasuke, Kagome and Suigetsu stopped at a large body of water.
"Is that the hideout?" Kagome asked peering through the fog and at the small island ahead.
"Yep," suigetsu answered taking a sip of his water.
"We need to peel off the seals suigetsu you go to the other one," sasuke ordered. Suigetsu muttered something about Sasuke always acting like the boss and ordering him around. Kagome smiled and stood there as the two ripped off the seals. The fog lifted but a copy of the two appeared and thus their battle began. Suigetsu and Sasuke obviously won.
After their small battle the two boys began walking across the body of water ( not sure if it was like an ocean, a river or a huge lake)) Sasuke turned around to see Kagome still at shore.
"What are you doing?" He asked. Kagome looked down in embarrassment.
"Im not a ninja...im a priestess so I can't walk on water like you all can," she admitted. Suigetsu almost started laughing if Sasuke hadn't shot him a glare. He disappeared and reappeared in front of Kagome who took a step back. Then he slung Kagome over his shoulder and proceeded to head towards the hideout. She sighed and just hung from Sasukes shoulder while looking beneath the water.
Occasionally she would glance up and see Suigetsu snickering at her so she glared at him and stuck her tongue out in a childish manner.
(Ok everyone knows how Sasuke recruits Karin and jugo so im going to skip that part...im too lazy to write it sooo ya)
"Alright everyone is here," Sasuke began his eyes skimming over each and every one of the members.
"Who is this girl?" Karin asked and pointed at Kagome before he could continue.
"My name is Kagome!" She said for what felt the hundredth time today.
"Hmph," she crossed her arms and Kagome went to notch an arrow but was stopped. She looked over and saw the orange headed guy.
"Don't let her bother you, Karin has always been like that. Im Jugo by the way," he said and smiled at her. Kagome relaxed and dropped her hand down by her side.
"I see..." She said and gave her one of her own smiles.
"Now. Our team name is Taka and we have but one goal. That is to Kill Itachi Uchiha!" Sasuke announced.
The group nodded and all four headed out. They soon came to a large green area.
"Hey...i recognize this place...its near konoha," kagome thought to herself remembering when Kakashi and Naruto have her a tour of Konoha. They had brought her here just to show her and they all decided to have their picnic here. She smiled at the memory.
"Alright we will split of here to look for clues on Itachi or the Akatsuki. Meet up here in about 2 hours. Kagome you will come with me," he then walked off in a random direction. Karin protested of course but everyone ignored her and eventually she left to find clues. Kagome ran to catch up with Sasuke.
After about an hour of asking around and finding nothing, a blonde haired blue eyed boy stopped them. With him he had another guy with an orange swirly mask.
"Your with the Akatsuki! Tell me, where is Itachi," Sasuke demanded.
"Always straight to the point..." Kagome muttered to herself. Sasuke glanced at her and turned his attention back to the boy.
They talked for a moment. She found out that the boys name was Deidara and the other was Tobi.
Sasuke then disappeared and reappeared behind Deidara. Next thing she knew there was an explosion.
"Deidara-sempai!" The guy Tobi cried, "he was such a good guy!"
Kagome rolled her eyes.
"Shut up Tobi," Deidara said.
"Your alive! Im so glad!" He cried some more.
Sasuke appeared next to her.
"Stand back," he said on a low voice that she barely managed to catch. She nodded and went and hid behind a tree.
It was one hell of a fight. Even though Deidara was crazy, she had to admit, he was kinda good looking.
Later in the fight when Sasuke was in the air and went crashing into the ground, she found him and Deidara both with out a shirt on. Her face heated up as she stared at Sasuke.
Suddenly the air turned cold. She looked up to see Deidara undo something on his chest and he slowly started dissapearing. Her eyes widened as did Sasukes.
"You wont be able to escape this!" He laughed. Sasuke turned to run but it was too late. The bomb went off.
"Sasuke!" Kagome screamed and ran towards him.. She reached him just as the explosion surrounded the two.
After what seemed like eternity, Kagome opened her eyes.
"Am I dead," she asked herself. She looked around and saw pink all around her and to her left laid Sasuke, all beaten up. She felt Tenseiga pulse at her side
"A barrier," she whispered as she touched it. The Barrier shattered when she touched it. She crawled over to Sasuke who was out cold. She once again looked up and saw that they were in the middle of a huge crater.
"Damn...how the hell am I supposed to get help..." She mumbled then an idea struck her.
Sasuke managed to open his eyes in time to see Kagome stand up. He watched her.
Kagome notched an arrow into her bow and poured as much Miko energy as she could into it.
"Please let someone see this!" She said and released it. The arrow flew high into the sky surrounded by a brilliant pink light, "d-damn...i used all my Miko energy in that one arrow..." She then collapsed right beside Sasuke who once again was met by darkness.

The other three were waiting for. Sasuke and Kagome to return.
"Where is he?" Suigetsu said impatiently.
"Hey you guys... Whats that!" Karin asked pointing the the pink thing flying in the air.
"Im not sure..." Jugo answered.
"Thats, Kagomes arrow!" Suigetsu said and raced off in the direction. The other two followed without hesitation.
Once they arrived they saw the crater and gawked.
"What the hell happened?" Suigetsu wondered.
"Karin can you sense Sasukes chakra?" Jugo asked. She nodded.
"Ya but its very faint. I also sense something else but im not sure what it is..." Jugo nodded and they went in the direction of Sasukes chakra and found him and Kagome out cold
((Ya ya ik ik that wasn't how Sasuke escaped Deidaras blast and stuff but this is my story ;) ))
Jugo slung Sasuke over his shoulder and Suigetsu picked Kagome up and they headed out to a nearby town that Suigetsu knew of. There they could get help and the treatment Sasuke needed.

A/n im terrible at writing fight scenes so bear with me. Also the story kinda follows the plot line but at the same time it doesn't. Also so far Sasuke/ Kagome is winning but Naruto/Kagome is close behind i will give the votes one more day so they are done tomorrow and I will announce the winner. No complaints
