When Sasuke awoke, he was greeted by three concerned faces.

"You're alright!" Karin gave out a sigh of relief and held a hand over her heart,
Sasuke sat up and looked around at his surroundings. The place looked abandon.

"Well...at least one of you are awake," Jugo said and glanced over at Sasukes left. Sasuke looked over and found a peacefully sleeping Kagome. Beside her were her weapons.

"How long have I been out?" Sasuke asked.

"About 2 days," Suigetsu replied sipping his water.
Sasuke didn't say anything but kept his gaze on Kagome.
"How did we survive that..." He thought to himself. They were too close to the blast to even have a chance of surviving yet here he is.

Kagomes eyes fluttered open and Jugo and Suigetsu went to sit by her side. She looked at the two.

"What?" She asked. Jugo smiled and back off along with Suigetsu as she sat up.

"You and Sasuke have been out for 2 days," Jugo told her. She looked over at Sasuke to see him covered in bandages. She smiled at him. He looked away from her and down at his lap.

"How did you survive that blast?" Suigetsu asked from the other side of the room. Everyone turned their attention to her. She closed her eyes and looked back to the moment of the blast. She remembered the blueish pinkish barrier that had surrounded her and Sasuke.

She opened her eyes and looked straight at Sasuke, "It was Tenseiga and my miko powers that saved us. If it had been just my powers alone, we would not have survived. However Tenseiga sensed this and activated a barrier of its own."

"A sword protected you and Sasuke?" Karin asked with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms.

"Yes. Tenseiga is a... Unique sword," she brought the sword into view, "It was made from the fang of a very powerful dog demon. The sword has a will of its own. Tenseiga was passed down from the original owner to his eldest son and he gave it to me as a gift. However the sword was not meant to kill only to heal those in need. It's most powerful move is the meidō Zangetsuha and it allows the user to send his or her enemy straight to hell."

The room grew quiet. Fear had struck itself in Karins heart as she glanced from Kagome to the sword. She would hate to be sent straight to hell.

Kagome set the sword back down and stood up so she could stretch out her tired limbs. She walked over to Sasuke and kneeled down next to him.

"Do your wounds still hurt?" She asked. At his nod she undid the bandages to observe them. He had a gash on his chest that went from his shoulder to his stomach. It wasn't deep enough to kill him but it was enough to cause a lot of pain. Then there were other minor scratches on him. On his cheek was a red line that had yet to be cleaned.

"Jugo, Suigetsu. I need you to go me some clean water. Karin I'm going to need more bandages," she ordered. All three left the room to go get what was needed and Kagome and Sasuke were left in the room alone.

Kagome didn't understand what she felt towards the young shinobi. He feelings for Inuyasha had suddenly disappeared. When she looked at Sasuke her heart would sped up and she had to force herself not to blush around him.

Her thought were interrupted by Sasuke, "Why did you save me?"

She looked him straight in the eye,"I know you're going to kill your brother Itachi for revenge for what he did. Im not going to stop you. I will support you. I understand that you have gone through a lot."

She smiled at him and his eyes widened and then narrowed his eyes, "Why? Im your enemy."

Kagome shook her head, "No your not my enemy. As to why Im supporting you. Thats easy.I want you to be happy. I want you to laugh a lot. I don't know what exactly I'll be able to do for you, but I'll always be by your side,"

His looked to his lap and back at Kagome. He grabbed her hand and held her gaze. He leaned forward and so did Kagome. Kagomes heart was rapidly beating as they drew closer to each other. They were inches apart...centimeters apart.

Then

The door slammed open and Kagome drew back quickly. She looked up at the trio who barged in with the supplies needed. She thanked them and set to work on wrapping Sasukes wounds. Not once did she look him in the eye...
