As the group headed towards the Uchiha Hideout, a figure stopped them. He came out of no where.
"How come I didn't sense him?" Kagome thought to herself, eyeing the man suspiciously. The man wore a long black cloak that had red clouds on it. He also wore a orange swirly mask that only had one hole in it. When she peered closer she saw the same eyes Sasuke had. Kakashi had called it the sharingan.
"Who the hell are you?" Suigetsu asked.
"Its that idiot Tobi. He was with Deidara when I fought him," Sasuke stated.
"Yes, Tobi is my alias. I am actually Madara Uchiha,"
"I thought Madara Uchiha was dead!" Kagome said catching the masked mans attention. He disappeared and appeared in front of her.
"And what would a time traveler like you know?" He asked.
"How did you know that?"
"Answer my question."
"Fine. When I first arrived here I was taken in by the leaf village. Few days later Kakashi and Jiraya educated me on what the different types of blood lines and ninja ranks there were. Of course this did not satisfied me. So when everyone in the village had fallen asleep I snuck into the hokages record room and read all the scrolls there," she explained.
"Is that so?" Madara asked. Kagome nodded.
"And while I was out and about I. Learned of where all the Uchihas used to live so I explored a little bit of the place and stumbled upon a hidden room. It mentioned
how to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan: to kill your closest friend,"
Sasukes eyes widened.
"Sasuke why do you keep a weak little girl around," Madara asked.
Kagome glared at the man standing in front of her.
Sasuke stood beside her, "Shes stronger than she looks."
Kagomes face heated up a bit,"Yeh buddy! So you better watch youself!
Madara chuckled and patted her on the head.
"She is amusing. Tell me, what rank are you?"
Kagome smirked,"I am a higher rank than you could ever imagine!"
"Well...her ego is getting the best of her," Suigetsu muttered. Jugo and Karin nodded in agreement.
"Oh?"
"Yes! In fact I'm not a ninja I'm a prie-" kagome was rudely interrupted by someone slapping their hand over her mouth. Kagome followed the hand. The hand belonged to Sasuke.
He leaned closer to her,"I don't trust him. Keep your powers a secret from him."
Kagome could only nod her head. He removed his hand and resumed his position.
"Hmm. Sasuke Uchiha you are on your way to see your brother, correct?" Madara asked. Sasuke nodded his eyes and his eyes grew colder.
"I see... I must be going now. We'll meet again in the future," with that he disappeared.
"Come on," Sasuke said and began his walk to the hideout.
"Hey Kagome, tell us about your world," Jugo smiled at the young girl.
"Well. It my time I live on a shrine with my mother, grandpa and my brother Souta. Behind out house is an old well house that takes me 500 years into the past. Demons existed there. There was also a powerful jewel there called the Shikon No Tama. It could amplify your power by a lot. When I arrivedI met a half demon named Inuyasha. He wanted the jewel to become a full demon but I ended up shattering the jewel into hundreds of shards,"
"Leave it to Kagome to destroy stuff," Suigetsu chuckled.
"When I wasn't traveling with Inuyasha I was at home...studying...for my...test! OH MY GOD! I forgot i had an upcoming test. I was gonna go home and study for it! Wheres my bag..oh wait its with Inuyasha! What am I going to do!" Kagome sat down on a rock and out her head in her hands.
"Hey Sasuke lets stop for a bit. Kagome here is having a mental break down. Also Kagome, who is Inuyasha?" Suigetsu looked at her. That got Sasukes attention. He walked over and sat beneath a tree next the the rock Kagome was sitting on.
"Inuyasha...," saying his name made her heart ache, "He was my first love...I loved him a lot. But his heart belonged to his past lover who is also my reincarnation. One day she was revived by a demon witch and from that point on every time he got the chance he would sneak off and go see her...even though she was nothing more than a dead clay pot!"
No one seemed to notice the deadly glare coming from Sasuke when she happened to mention that Inuyasha was first love.
"Oh...sorry about that. But hey that guy doesn't know what he is missing! I'd go for you but Sasuke beat me to it," Suigetsu winked as Kagomes face heated up. Sasuke just 'tched' and looked away.
"Aww he didn't even deny it!" Suigetsu chuckled. Jugo pulled Karin to the side due to the look in her eyes.
"Karin I think it would be wise to let Sasuke go. We all know there is something going on between him and Kagome and if you do anything to hurt her...Sasuke will not hesitate to kill you. Comrade or not,"
Karins shoulders slumped, "I know...its just...I don't know. Maybe you're right. Thanks Jugo."
Sorry its so short but I have better things planned for future chapters. Also thanks to a friend on quotev I have even more ideas! Sooo be prepared!
