Kagome smiled as she walked with her new found group. Her hand was in Sasukes as they walked down the path towards the well they had come from. Kagome was saddened that she had to leave this place but knew she had a duty to fulfill and would not abandon it.

*flashback*

"Lady Kagome, do you intend to stay here knowing fully well that Naraku still has his hands on the majority Sacred Jewel?" Miroku asked after their incident in the village. Inuyasha had been sulking for quite a while and Kagome was beginning to feel sympathetic towards him.

"I almost forgot..." She sighed and pulled out the chuck of jewel that was hanging around her neck. She stared at it.

"Kagome..." Koga said getting her attention,"Here."

Koga held out the three jewel shards he had. Kagome looked at them and then at him.

"Thank you Koga," she smiled and infused those jewel shards with her piece.

"I am able to open yet another portal to get back to our home..." Kikyo announced. Kagome nodded

"Well...I guess we should head that way huh," Kagome blinked back her tears.
*End flashback*

Here they were. Kagome, Sango,Inuyasha, Kikyo,Miroku Kirara and Shippo. They stood around the well.

"Are you really leaving?" Suigetsu asked. To be honest he had grown quite fond of the Miko.

"Yes. I have to. The jewel isn't gonna repair itself," she smiled at the white hair purpled eyed boy. She stepped away and wrapped her arms around him.

"It was nice knowing you Suigetsu. You were, most of the time, the highlight of my day. Thank you," Kagome released him and gave him a peck on the cheek. She was clearly aware of Sasukes cold glare on her and Suigetsu.

She then moved towards Karin who had a tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry Karin," Kagome smiled and wiped them away with her sleeve.

"I-im not crying...I just got dirt in my eye!" She angrily wiped her eyes. Kagome gave her a 'yeah right' look. In the end she couldn't help but smile at the red haired woman and then gave her a hug.

Karin stood there before once again tearing up and wrapping her arms around Kagome and laying her head on her shoulder. They stood there for like forever. Karin was silently crying not wanting Sasuke to see her like this.

After a few more moments Karin stepped away and smiled at her.

Kagome went and stood in front of Jugo.

"It was fun having you around Kagome," he said and smiled at the young woman.

"Im glad you had such a great time," she replied.

"Before I met you...I thought I was scary when angry...but now I know that I am not. You and that Sango girl are extremely scary when angry," he chuckled and remembered the time when Sango hit Miroku and Kagome sat Inuyasha.

"Thats for sure," Suigetsu muttered. Kagome giggled and gave Jugo a kiss on his cheek. His face heated up and he touched the spot where she kissed him.

He leaned down and also kissed her cheek.

"Thank you," she smiled and turned to the last person.

"Sasuke..." She breathed out.

"Kagome..." He stepped forward. She looked to the ground tears began to stream down her face.

Sasuke hooked a finger under her chin and made her look at him. He reached up and wiped her tears away.

"I think...i will miss you the most," she whispered.

"Me too..." He mumbled.

Sasuke embraced the girl he had fallen hard for. And she returned his embrace.

They let each other go after what seemed like eternity.

She stepped back and everyone stood on the rim of the well.

Sasukes hand shot out and gripped her wrist.

"Will...we meet again?" He asked with hopeful eyes.

"Yes we will Sasuke," she smiled at him. He pulled her down and kissed her. Of course Kagome wasted no time in kissing him back.

Once they separated, Sasuke laid his forehead on hers,"It will be a while before I get to do that."

"Ya..." Was her reply.

"You know...your actually my first kiss that was a girl," he whispered so the other couldn't hear.

"What!" She looked at him shocked.

"They were accidents," he shrugged and gave her one last peck before spinning her around and lightly shoving her towards the well.

She stepped up with the help of Miroku and Sango. She looked back at the others. Karin had tears once again in her eyes.

"Sasuke like I said when we first met...I want you to be happy. I want you to laugh a lot. I don't know what exactly I'll be able to do for you, but I'll always be by your side," She smiled at him and he looked up at her with wide eyes.

"Goodbye," she whispered as they all jumped in the well. Sasuke rushed to the side of the well and peered down in it.

"Ya...we will met again...Kagome," he whispered.

A/n- I DID MY BEST ON THIS CHAPTER THOUGH I WAS NOT HAPPY BECAUSE IT TOOK TIME OUT OF MY PRECIOUS MANGA READING DAMN IT! Anywho ( please excuse my rant)

i tried to make the ending as emotional as possible but since I did not cry writing this...it did not work anyway...i may or may not make a sequel to this but for now You must decide on yet another pairing...
