It had been a few hours since Seeley had gotten to the hospital. He was still trying to process everything he had learned since coming home from Iraq. Seeley would have tried staying home if he knew about this pregnancy. Or what would have been her third pregnancy if she didn't have this miscarriage. Seeley knew one thing was for sure he didn't care what needed to be done he wasn't leaving his family again. Wesley had felt bad enough because he was missing jays birthday and would have missed the twins as well. This was all going to end now though since he planned on bringing his wife home to their children soon.

Seeley couldn't help thinking about the baby he never even got to meet since he wasn't around. Seeley lightly kissed Temperance cheek since she was still curled against his chest. "I love you temperance never forget that." Seeley tilted his head towards the door noticing it opening wondering who it could be. Seeley was still waiting to find out news from Mel about this whole situation. Max walked into the room as he placed a bag on the small couch in the corner. "I stopped at the house to get the both of you a few things."

"Thank you for everything Max." Seeley mumbled. "You have no idea how thankful I am that someone I trust was around for my family when I couldn't be."

"You have nothing to thank me for Booth she is my baby girl and they're my grandchildren." Max sighed knowing he had been the only one to know about the pregnancy up until a week ago. Max had made sure Angela knew for when he couldn't be around to help temperance with the three young kids. Max moved a hand over his face as he shifted to sit in the uncomfortable chair beside the bed. "Jay was still awake when I went home asking for his mommy, and daddy."

Seeley couldn't help the small smile on his face as he shifted to stand from the bed. "Keep an eye on her I'm going to find her doctor." Seeley knew that the only way temperance would be happy or start to let anyone in would be from home. Seeley walked out of the room as he stumbled down the hallway for a minute knowing he could finally breathe now. Seeley blinked his eyes open after a few deep breathes noticing Mel at the nurses' station. "Mel, can we talk?"

Mel had placed the one clipboard down and grabbed another as she walked towards seeley. "I was just on my way to check on Temp." Seeley sighed hearing this knowing he wanted a few minutes alone with Mel to ask a few questions. "What went wrong? What was it Mel or was it too early to tell?" Wesley took a short uneven breath as he continued. "When can she come home?" Mel just stood in front of seeley letting him rattle off the questions knowing he needed to get them off his chest. Mel placed a hand on her friends shoulder. "Sometimes things like this happen seeley with high risk pregnancies. We all knew after the twin's birth that temperance getting pregnant again wouldn't be easy, and if it did take place it would more than likely not end well." Mel waited a minute to continue knowing it was a lot to take in. "She had to give birth to your son since she was almost five months along seeley. I want to treat it as if it was a normal delivery, and keep her at least another day."

"Wait, did you say son? I would have had another son?" Seeley sighed as he ran a hand through his short hair from being in Iraq the past four months. Before Mel could answer him though he heard a raised voice, and stumbling behind him in the hallway. Seeley froze for a second realizing who was in front of him now as she clinched onto the railing on the wall. Max grabbed temperance arm gently. "Tempe you shouldn't be walking right now." Temperance shrugged her arm out of her father's grasp as she mumbled. "Dad let go please."

Temperance turned back towards seeley as she stumbled towards him ignoring the pain she was in now. "I was going to name him after you Seeley Joseph Booth and for short just call him Joey."

Seeley felt like the wind had been knocked out of him hearing this coming from his wife's mouth. Seeley gently pulled her into his arms so she wasn't walking anymore. "You have no idea how much that means to me temperance, but none of this was your fault. Our little boy is going to watch us from heaven and make sure his family is okay."

Temperance just rested her head onto booths chest as she sucked in a deep breath. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the pregnancy I was being irrational thinking the pregnancy would be too much of destruction while you were already fighting for your life."

Seeley had only rubbed her back a little bit more as he lifted her small frame into his arms. "Don't blame yourself babe I don't blame you, and nothing you could have done would've changed the situation we're in now."

Mel was watching this scene taking place in front of her as she crossed her arms knowing Temperance wouldn't be in the right state of mind. Mel moved towards her friends seeing Seeley still in his uniform never changing since last night. Mel gently placed a hand on Temperance shoulder as she sighed. "If I release you Temp to go home you need to stay in bed a few days." Mel knew that would be hard considering she had three young kids at the house, but she needed time to heal.

Seeley kissed her forehead knowing she wouldn't want to be treated different and want to live a normal life again. Seeley shifted towards the room noticing Max standing in the doorway. "Believe me Mel I will make sure she stays in bed."

It had been another hour before they were heading towards his suv that max pulled to the curb. Seeley helped temperance into the passenger seat as he mumbled. "I love you Temperance Decree Brennan-Booth and our children think of you as the best mommy around." Seeley knew he was being a little over bearing at the moment, but they were going to make it work out they always got through everything together as a family.
