"So my suspicions were true," He stared hard at the door while Naruto stiffened. "She did clean all of this for you," Sasuke teased. Naruto let out a sigh of relief, and escorted Sasuke to the kitchen whining how he isn't that messy.

Sasuke hesitantly placed a piece of the lasagna that Naruto's sister made into his mouth. Surprisingly though, it was really good. The cheese was melted just right and the meat had the right amount of spices in it to make it a masterpiece really. Naruto was already stuffing his face with only a quarter of the lasagna left on his plate while a few bits were splashed on the glass table like a mediocre painter was splashing paint on a piece of paper calling it a work of art. Sasuke smiled at how Naruto could act like a child and still be so incredibly sexy doing it.

"What?" Naruto mumbled with a mouth full of lasagna.

"Chew, dobe," Sasuke teased and lifted another piece of the meal into his mouth. Naruto frowned and then swallowed grumbling about useless table manners. Now it was Sasuke's turn to be confused. "What?"

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Something is bothering you," Naruto now stared a Sasuke who was shocked to say the least. Sasuke looked down at the table. Would he dare ask? It wasn't even his business to begin with, but it still bothered him.

"I want to know what happened between you and Neji," Sasuke asked that left Naruto completely taken back.

"What exactly do you want to know?" Naruto needed to choose his words carefully.

"I thought Neji dated Gaara and something happened, but that's not what I heard from Hinata. I'm just so confused about all of this," Naruto thought about this for a second before he sighed.

"I did go out with Neji," he started, "Until he started accusing me of cheating on him. He said he had proof from some school blog or something saying that I was fucking this blonde on the side. He decided to get some payback so he started fucking with one of my friends."

"Gaara," Sasuke guessed and Naruto nodded.

"We had this big fight etc. etc." Sasuke noticed that Naruto didn't want to talk about the subject so he didn't ask more.

"Are you going to the costume party this Friday?" Naruto pushed his finished plate forward and rested his elbows on the table.

"What party?" Sasuke knew there was going to be some kind of celebration for Halloween he just didn't want to think about it.

"It's a school dance for Halloween. Are you going?" Naruto asked again. Sasuke stared at his plate contemplating some answers he could give to the blond in front of him. He really wasn't in the mood to dress up and dance with random strangers. Especially if Naruto was going to be there since the rumors about them were still spreading around the school.

"Oh," Sasuke looked up at him, "I don't think I'm going. Not really my thing," he tried not to think about the sad smile Naruto had on until it was masked with the grin again.

"Was just wondering," Naruto stood and placed his plate in the sink. Sasuke sighed quietly playing with the lasagna not even feeling hungry anymore. He came here to tell Naruto that he had no chance, but he still felt that warm fuzzy feeling in his stomach whenever Naruto was around. Damn it! Sasuke closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He had to tell Naruto to stop. It's not worth falling in love if he's just going to end up being thrown out on the streets like his mother.

"Are your eyes hurting?" Sasuke snapped his eyes open to find Naruto standing next to him with his eyebrows furrowed.

"No," Sasuke shook his head and stood, "I kind of ate at Yusha's bar before so…" he didn't have to explain himself as Naruto grabbed his plate and took it back into the kitchen with that infectious smile on his face. Sasuke checked his phone, but didn't bother to check the time on it he already knew he wanted to get out of here. "It's getting late. I should head back since I have early class tomorrow," the blond walked in and grabbed his jacket from the chair.

"Why so early on a Thursday?" Naruto chuckled. "I would die if I had that class," leave it to Naruto to make the situation better while leaving himself wide open.

"That's because you have the attention span of a rat," Sasuke pointed at him.

"I take offence to that."

"Good."

When they exited the building neither noticed the flash that went off from the two hooded figures by the corner.

The ride back to the dorms was pleasantly quiet, well, as quiet as it can be with Naruto there. Sasuke asked Naruto to leave him back where at Yusha's bar because he left something there. They said their goodbyes and Sasuke walked in and sat down at the counter. The place was completely empty now. Yusha walked out from the back and was completely shocked to find Sasuke here.

"Sasuke?" Yusha asked. The raven kept his stoic face and looked towards the other man.

"Naming a bar after the city it's in. Not very original," Sasuke noted. Yusha furrowed his brow.

"Is something wrong?" Yusha questioned and the answer was just a sigh escaping Sasuke's mouth.

"Why did you lie to me about Neji and Gaara when I first came here?"

"W-what?" Yusha was taken aback by this.

"I want the truth. About everything," Sasuke now glared at him. "I know you know more than you let on," the other man gulped.

"You have to understand that there's more going on and it's bigger than you, me, and Neji's petty problems," Yusha whispered to Sasuke. "That first day, Neji called me about three hours before you even got here and he told me what to tell you."

"Why?" Sasuke questioned.

"If you want the answer to that you're going to have to ask him yourself," Yusha looked around as if paranoid. "I'm closing up soon so you should head to the campus now," the other man rushed to the back leaving Sasuke to his thoughts. Sasuke silently walked out of the bar and to the campus as he was told. None of this made sense. He knew he should have asked Naruto more about the situation, but he didn't want him to feel worse than he already looked.

After minutes of walking with the crowded thoughts in his head Sasuke arrived at the door to his dorm room. Sasuke looked up at the door dreading the conversation that is bound to happen once he crosses it. He reached up slowly to knock when it suddenly opened to reveal the large red head about to leave.

"Sasuke," Gaara said.

"Gaara," Sasuke returned with the same monotone voice.

"You're going to speak with Neji," the red head said matter-of-factly. Sasuke smirked.

"Don't worry. You will get your turn soon," Sasuke pushed passed Gaara and laid his eyes on Neji sitting on his bed looking at anything, but him. "Close the door on the way out," Gaara did what he was told. Sasuke stood in the exact same spot for what seemed like hours until Neji sighed and spoke up.

"Look. I'm sorry that I ran out-" Sasuke put his hand in front of him interrupting Neji as he sat down on his own bed and crossed his arms over his chest.

"All I want from you right now is the truth. All of it," Neji looked up at his roommate not knowing where to begin. "Well-".

*****I am evil, mauahahahahaha*****

Sasuke was in the middle of getting dressed for his music class when Neji burst through the door with costume magazines and couple flyers.

"I found the perfect costume for you for the party!" Neji gasped for air. Sasuke frowned.

"I already told Naruto I'm not going. Plus, half the school already doesn't like me. Imagine what they would do if I showed up there," Sasuke packed his books in his bag.

"That's the magic of a costume. No one has to know it's you!" Neji explained. "Come on! I need someone to go with!"

"Why don't you ask someone else," Sasuke suggested. "What about Gaara?"

"You're kidding right?"

"…"

"…"

"Fine, let me see what you have," Neji grinned happily, opened his magazine, and pointed to a specific costume for Sasuke. Sasuke looked it over about three times nodding.

"Yup, I'm definitely not going."

"It's perfect for you!" Sasuke looked at the other raven with the 'are you insane?' look.

"No one will ever guess it's you. It's like the ultimate disguise. Plus with this, no girls will hit on you."

"Yeah, and what about the guys?" Neji stopped and looked at his friend.

"Are you trying to be the next 40 year old virgin?" As soon as the phrase came out of his mouth he had a large bump on his head courtesy of Sasuke's heavy backpack.

Sasuke entered his music class and was prepared to improve his drawing skills again for the day when the door burst open and a large group of people entered the room. Among them were Gaara, Kiba, Sakura, Ino, Neji, and Naruto. Basically the entire Football, Cheerleading, and Wrestling team that Neji was on was in the room. Kakashi stood from his desk extremely furious that they interrupted a good session of Icha Icha Paradise.

"What is the meaning of this!?" Kakashi's voice boomed through the spacious room.

"It's been a long time, Kashi," came the feminine voice accompanied with the clattering of heels. The large group parted to reveal Kurama dressed in a white business suit with a white short dress. Her red hair flowing behind her while she walked.

"What are you doing here?" Kakashi spat venomously.

"Now, now, Kashi. You wouldn't want to upset the Director of Athletics and the Arts now would we?" Kurama smirked.

"That's crazy. Tsunade would never-"

"Oh, but she did," she came forward and sat on Kakashi's desk and inspected each and every face that was sitting in the classroom. "When I looked over the reports and statistics I noticed that not many athletes at our school took art courses and vice versa. This upsets me. Students should be able to express themselves in every way they can," Kurama smiled. Sasuke took a glance at Naruto who was more annoyed than surprised.

"And this is your solution, to cause havoc in my class?" Kakashi asked.

"From now on, students will be required to take at least one course of the arts such as music, theater, art etc. and participate in at least one sport."

"Then why have you brought all these students here?"

"These are only the students who chose music," Kurama smiled. The group was massive and no way that there would be enough room in the classroom to fit them all. "To break the ice, their first assignment will be to work with a partner and preform a duet," many whines and groans echoed through the music room from this information.

"You can't just barge in here and start giving out assignments in my class," Kakashi glared.

"I can. I already have the groups made," she took out a sheet of paper and handed it to Kakashi. "Kashi will post the groups on the wall and you all can see who you got," Kurama clasped her hands together and smiled. "Well, my work here is done," she got off the desk and strutted out the room leaving a furious professor and a classroom of bewildered students. Kakashi sighed and walked up to his wall and placed the paper with a piece of tape on the wall. Once he walked away the students who were sitting down swarmed the area leaving Sasuke and a few other students behind.

Sasuke stood from his feet at the same time that Naruto started walking and they both ended up next to each other in line waiting to see who they got. "Pretty interesting sister you got there," Sasuke tried to start a conversation.

"More like annoying and nosey," Naruto scoffed.

"She can't be that bad," Sasuke noticed more glares than usual, but decided to ignore them. "I think I'm gonna get the pink bimbo over there," Sasuke pointed to Sakura which caused Naruto to laugh.

"If she ever heard you say that she would kill you," it was now Sasuke's turn to laugh.

"As if she could," the last wall of students dispersed allowing Sasuke to see what partner he had. He hoped it was someone who could at least carry an instrument. He found his name and read the name under him. His eyes widened and he read the name again and again to make sure he read it right.

"You've got to be kidding me," Sasuke sighed. Naruto Uzumaki. "Please tell me you can play an instrument," Sasuke looked behind him at the blond football player.

"I used to play guitar, like, four years ago," Naruto responded. "That's pretty much it." Sasuke sighed at this.

"We have got a lot of work to do then," Sasuke grabbed his bag and quickly walked out of the room.

"Where are we going exactly?" Naruto asked following him. "And class isn't over yet."

"We are not going anywhere. I am going to practice, and you are going anywhere that's not where I am," Sasuke stopped in front of the auditorium and turned around.

"Isn't this a group project thing though?" the blond asked.

"No."

"It's a duet right? It needs two people doesn't it?"

"Ok, so I'll do-it here and you can do-it somewhere else. So, bye," Sasuke glared at him. He wasn't sure why he was being rude to Naruto, but at the moment he felt like he didn't want to have him around more than he needed to.

"Fine, whatever," Naruto shoved his hands in pockets and walked away. Sasuke sighed in relief and walked into the auditorium. It was almost always empty at this time so he knew he wouldn't get interrupted. He reached the piano in the corner, opened it, and started taking sheet music out of his bag. "Heart Attack" by Demi Lovato, he knew it was a girly song, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. He started playing and lost himself in the music as his new partner sneaked his way into the auditorium.
