I'M BACK. MINNESOTA WEATHER IS A BITCH. FINALS SUCK. MY EX DUMPED ME. THESE ARE THE BAD THINGS.
I don't own, enjoy. (and sorry for the long wait)
Tooth pinched the bridge of her nose roughly. "So let me get this straight.. Jack and Jackson are two souls… in one body…" She let out a noise of frustration.
The Man In Black nodded briefly. "Jackson is special, given the ability to watch Jack in a sort of 'out of body experience', as most bodies with two binded souls do." TMIB sighed. "But when Jack… well, died, Jackson gained more power than he had before. They are two in the same, one dark, one light."
Sandy watched in wonder and amusement as TMIB tried to explain this to them. Tooth however, didn't seem to be enjoying it. "So to get rid of Jackson, Jack must walk the Void and force Jackson to, what? Let go? To die?"
"Essentially, yes. But keep in mind, where Jackson is nobody, Jack is somebody. Jackson may very well give in, he has no friends or family here." TMIB frowned deeply under his hood. "However, he always was a stubborn child. Refusing to come home to the mists of the Void when told to."
Tooth frowned deeper. "I still don't understand how Jackson can still be a part of Jack… MiM made Jack who he is now, he didn't make Jackson a Guardian."
TMIB shrugged, crossing his arms. "I think he knew the price he paid when he made Jack a Guardian. But as I said before: Where Jack is snow, Jackson is ice."
Tooth sighed deeply. "...How do we get Jack into the Void?"
Bunnymund walked cautiously through the down. The morning fog had set it, and the smoke from the once burning candles didn't help either. The deserted down was quite eerie, even in daylight.
"Jack!" Aster called out, jumping slightly when a dark voice answered him. A voice he knew all to well.
"So we are both searching for the same person… how convenient." Aster whipped around with both boomerangs in hand.
"Come on out a fight me if you want ta… Pitch." Said man stepped out of from the shadows near a tree.
"Well, when I say to same person… I guess I was lying…" Pitch sighed, ripping one of the cream colored candles out of the tree.
It dawned on Bunnymund. "You want Jackson… because he has the same power as Jack… the power you wanted to use to make yourself stronger."
Pitch grinned, twirling the candle in his hands. "So you're not as stupid as you look." He paused, turning the candle black. "But use that power? Oh no… I was there when Jackson killed all those people. I simply sat in the shadows and… admired."
Bunnymund frowned. "You want Jackson to take over Jack's body, so you two can rule a world of darkness together."
Pitch's grin grew wider. "You don't know what happens to those who aren't believed in, do you? We're all sent to the Void, a world of misty darkness. A land of lost souls, it takes us hundreds of years to find another." Pitch tsked. "Ooh, but I've been there. I found Jackson. He had been like Jack was before, in denial of being ignored, determined that someday, someone would see him."
Bunnymund growled lowly. "So you were the one who corrupted Jackson."
"Me? No… I raised him, like a son. He grew older, like Jack did as a human. But one day, he finally grew to love the darkness of the Void. And he wanted to share it with the rest of the world… and well, you know the rest." Pitch snapped the candle in have. "You know, besides basic facial features, Jackson hadn't resembled Jack at all. He was more… serious, brooding, and dare I say… dark."
Pitch tossed the broken candle to Bunnymund, and it landed at the Pooka's feet. "Until next time… Easter Rabbit."
So yeah... now to the good things. My dyslexia is actually growing better now (maybe cause my brain is maturing? idk), I live in Minnesota now (Do I have any fans out there from this Jack Frost invested land?), and I found a couple new friends who are in love with fanfictions as well. Again, moving here was a bitch, sorry for not updating.
