Chapter 42: Happy Thanksgiving Part 3
Everyone was having a great time playing pool and darts and air hockey. They even had a game of uno going at one of the tables. Rae and Olivia were at the pinball machine competing for the high score. Olivia was losing, so of course, she accused Rae of cheating. They were completely oblivious to everyone else. On their last game, Olivia stood behind Rae, with her arms on either side of her, trying to sabotage her game. Maureen looked over and saw them and then looked over to her father, who was visibly upset. She saw her mother trying to calm him down and telling him to mind his own business. Maureen decided she had to say something. She walked over and glared at them, "Hey, I get that you two are happy and all out in the open now but if you don't stop it my dad is gonna lose it and the night is gonna be ruined. So please just tone it down on the pda, ok?" Olivia stepped from behind Rae and looked over to see Elliot staring at her. He was obviously angry and Kathy's efforts to keep him calm were losing steam. "Yeah, ok" she said softly. With that Maureen returned to the uno game and Rae and Olivia took a breather from pin ball. They decided to stop isolating from everyone and joined Jimmy, Fin and Munch in their game of darts. Rae was failing miserably at darts so she went over to play air hockey with Ashley and Kathleen. She and Olivia kept sharing glances across the room that didn't go unnoticed by, well, anyone. Elliot, though, seemed to be the only one upset by the idea of them together. They expected as much so his reaction didn't cause them any anxiety. Charles came up to Rae and grabbed her arm, "I need to talk to you" he said quietly in her ear. Olivia watched as he pulled her out of the room and went into another.
They went into her parents' room and Charles shut the door behind them. He was obviously upset about something but Rae had no idea what it was this time. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" he spat out. Rae furrowed her brow in confusion, "I don't know what you're talking about" she said unphased by his tone. "You threatened Robert. You told him that your girlfriend would kick his ass" he said. Rae figured this must be why he was being such an ass during dinner. She rolled her eyes, "First of all, I didn't say anything about a girlfriend. Secondly, you're damn right I threatened him and I meant every word. So you tell him that if he can keep hands to himself he shouldn't have anything to worry about" she said simply. "God, you're so sensitive. You act like you're god's gift to earth, like you're untouchable" he said slightly yelling. "I'm not untouchable. You should know. You got quite an eye full of just how touchable I am. For him, though, and any other client you want me to entertain...yeah, I'm very untouchable. If touchable is what you want, hire an escort." She turned and opened the door to leave but Charles slammed it shut again before she could get out. He grabbed her by the arms, "You listen to me, you better not fuck up this deal!" he said yelling angrily. "I've put a shit load of work into this and I'll be damned if I let you come in on the tail end and fuck it all up! You got that!"
His voice could be heard by everyone in the other room. They couldn't make out what he was saying but they could definitely tell that he was yelling. Soraya excused herself to go and end whatever they were fighting about. She opened the door and saw Charles had a grip on her daughter. "Charles, you take your hands off of her right now" she said firmly. Charles released Rae from his grasp and she rubbed her arms where his hands had just been. "Definitely gonna have bruises" she thought glaring at him. "Haletan khoob ast?" she asked concerned. Rae nooded her head. "I'm fine." Soraya pulled her daughter into her protectively, "Now what is going on here? We can hear you yelling in the other room." she said. "Araeyah is trying to sabotage my deal with these new clients" he said trying to put the blame on her. "Oh please, if all your clients wanted was to make a deal with your company, what do you need me for? You seem to think that I work for you. Breaking news, I don't. You want to close a deal then you can do it your goddamn self." She pulled away from her mother and left the room. When she walked back into the game room everyone stared at her. She smiled and attempted to return everyone's fun mood. "Sorry about that" she said, "Ashley, I wasn't done kicking your butt" she joked walking back over to the air hockey table. "In your dreams" she said picking up her mallet and getting ready for the game. Everyone looked around and shrugged at her nonchalant attitude then returned to their previous activities. Olivia walked over to Rae and put a hand on her back, "Are you ok?" she asked concerned. Rae looked up at her and smiled, "Yeah, fine" Olivia looked at her unconvinced. "Really, Liv. I'm ok" she said reassuring her girlfriend that everything was good. "Now go back to your dart game. Elliot is glaring at us and this night has been eventful enough" she said giving her a shove with her hip. "I don't care about Elliot. I want to make sure that..." Rae cut her off mid sentence, "Olivia, I'm fine. I promise. I'm fine. Please, for me just..." she motioned with her head for her to go. Olivia sighed and went back over to the dart board and Rae returned to her air hockey game.
After a while, they'd pushed the tables together and were playing a big game of uno using all the desks of the cards. Rae was the first to get uno and go out of the game, then Scott, then Dickey, and Olivia was the fourth. Rae leaned over and told Olivia to meet her in the bathroom in a couple of minutes. She got up and asking if anyone needed anything. When they all said they were fine, she left and headed down the stairs. After a few minutes had passed, Olivia slipped out of the room and went downstairs. She walked into the bathroom and saw Rae leaning against the sink. After closing and locking the door behind her, she walked over pulled Rae into her arms.
"Hi" she said smiling. Rae wrapped her arms around her neck, "Hi" she said back. They brought their lips together in their first kiss of the night. It was slow and sweet and full of passion. Olivia ran her hands down Rae's legs until she felt the hem of her dress. She tugged it up around her waist and reached for her underwear. She smiled into their kiss when she realized she wasn't wearing any. She lifted Rae to sit on the sink and stood between her legs. She moved her kisses down Rae's neck and chest. She ran her fingers through her folds gathering her wetness and circling her clit. Rae moaned locking her fingers in Olivia's hair. She pulled lightly on her brown locks, forcing her head back and bringing their lips back together. Olivia's fingers easily slid inside Rae's wet depths. Rae let her head fall back against the mirror as she matched Olivia's rhythm with her hips. Rae spread her legs wider, bringing one foot up to rest on the sink. Olivia pushed deeper inside her while placing kisses on her neck and chest. She bit her lip attempting to stifle the moan threatening to escape her.
"Faster" she said quietly. Olivia increased her pace and Rae fought to keep as quiet as she could. "Oh god" she whispered. Olivia increased her pace once again and Rae didn't know if she'd be able to hold it in much longer. She gripped onto the sink so tight her knuckles turned white. "Liv" she said moaning. As she got closer to her climax, it was harder and harder for her to control her volume. Olivia thrust into Rae and curled her fingers finding the spot that always sent her into a tailspin. She pulled her into a kiss, swallowing the small scream that escaped her as she came. When Rae came down from her orgasm she hopped off of the sink and pushed Olivia against the wall. She began to pull up her skirt but Olivia grabbed her hands.
"What? What is it?" Rae asked confused as to why Liv stopped her.
"We've been in here too long. Someone's gonna notice we're gone and come looking for us" she said. Rae groaned in disappointment. "Don't worry" Olivia said, "we can finish this later." Rae fixed her dress and checked her appearance in the mirror. She turned and kissed her girlfriend one more time before leaving the bathroom. When she came out to the living room, Maureen was there leaning against the arm of the couch. Rae looked like she'd just gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
"Really? This is you toning it down..." she stood up and moved closer to her friend. "sneaking off with your girlfriend to have sex in the bathroom?" she whispered. "You have a room full of detective upstairs. Do you think they don't notice that you've both been gone for ten minutes?". Rae just sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Well you said to tone down the public displays. You didn't say anything about private." Maureen rolled her eyes and walked over to the bathroom. She knocked, "Olivia you can come on out. I know you're in there" she said through the door. She heard the water that was running turn off and a second later the door opened and a guilty looking Olivia stepped out. "Sorry" she said. She looked at Rae and winked before turning and heading back upstairs. Rae smiled and watched her walk away. Maureen watched as Rae checked out Olivia's ass as she walked up the stairs. "You two are just ridiculous" she said shaking her head. She locked arms with Rae and they went back upstairs together.
When they got back to the game room, Rae tried to retake her seat next to Olivia but Maureen wouldn't let her. She refused to let go of Rae's arm, forcing her sit on the couch with her, Ashley and Scott. They were still playing the same game of uno as when Rae and Olivia left. It was down to Elizabeth and Chrissa, Robert's wife. After about five more minutes and some under the table coaching from Rae, Elizabeth finally won. It was ten forty five and everyone still had plenty of energy. They separated the uno cards back into their respective decks and decided to play monopoly next. Rae slipped away with her mother to put the left over food away and get the kitchen cleaned up. With the two of them working together, they got it done in no time and went back upstairs with their guests. Rae took over Jimmy's spot since he's horrible at monopoly. Lucky for her, he was sitting next to Olivia. They sat closer than necessary, their legs brushing against one another and their arms touching. Maureen and Ashley shared a look, both realizing that keeping those two apart for the evening was hopeless. They would just have to leave them be and let whatever was gonna happen, happen. In the middle of the game, Captain Cragen's phone rang and he stepped away to take the call. Fin, Munch, Elliot and Olivia all looked at each other knowing what was coming.
"What's up Cap?" Fin asked when he saw Cragen coming back over to the group.
"Sorry to cut the night short but we caught a case" he said. "Mrs. Caston, thank you so much for having us over" he said turning to Rae's mother. "Your home is lovely and dinner was absolutely amazing. Your daughter was right. You're a great cook."
"I'm pleased that you all could come and that you enjoyed everything" she said sweetly. "Maybe we'll do this again for New Years, yes?" she said looking around at everyone.
"Sounds good to me" Munch said chiming in. Everyone else nodded in agreement. Soraya smiled, "Wonderful" she said.
"Alright, SVU let's go" Cragen said as he moved towards the door.
With Cragen, Elliot, Fin, John, and Olivia having to leave, everyone else decided it was time to call it a night. They put away all the games and returned the tables to their original places. Everyone went downstairs and gathered their coats and started out the door. Soraya and Jimmy waited on the front patio while Rae and Charles walked out with everyone. Charles accompanied his clients to their cars and said his goodbyes before returning to stand with his wife and son on the patio. Rae said her last goodbyes to Ashley and Scott as they drove away before going over to Maureen. She hugged her best friend before she got into the car with her mother. The squad waited while Elliot said goodbye to his wife and kids. Rae walked over to Olivia and wrapped her arms around her waist. They held each other for a moment before letting go.
"Call me, ok? It..." Olivia smiled, "doesn't matter what time" she said finishing Rae's sentence. "Yeah, I know" she said smiling. Elliot turned around to walk to the car just in time to see Olivia lean down and kiss Rae on the lips. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His suspicions were confirmed in that moment. Olivia was dating a teenager.
"Olivia, what the hell are you doing?" he said walking over and pulling Rae away from her. "She's a kid." Olivia grabbed Rae's hand and tried to pull her back to her but Elliot wouldn't let go.
"Elliot this is none of your business" she said. Don, Fin and Munch got out of their cars and prepared to intervene in the altercation.
"None of my business? You're making out with a kid! She's my daughter's best friend. You're my partner. This damn sure is my business!" he yelled. He pulled Rae by the arm trying to free her hand from Olivia's grasp but Liv refused to let go. "My personal relationships are my business. You don't get to dictate who I date!" she yelled back.
"Relationship? Dating? Have you lost your mind?" he said. "She's a child. She's my daughter's age. Come on, you see this kinda shit everyday and here you are doing it yourself. I'm guessing this is why you were so quick to defend that tutor, huh? You're doing the same thing she's doing. And to think I had you around my kids" he said slightly disgusted. Olivia inhaled sharply at what he was implying. Rae had enough of listening to them argue and being the rope in their game of tug-o-war. She was about to yell at them when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Elliot that's enough!" Cragen said forcefully. "Let her go." Elliot let go of Rae's arm and opened his mouth to speak again but Capt. Cragen wouldn't allow it. "Not another word" he said stepping in front of Elliot. "This is not the time, nor the place. Now, we have a crime scene to get to. So, let's go" he said motioning to the car. "Fin, you're with Liv. Go meet the vic at the hospital, St. Lukes. Elliot, John and I will head over to the scene" he said. He walked over and got in the driver's seat while Munch took the front seat and Elliot got in the back. Fin turned to Olivia and Rae, "Take your time" he said, "I'll be in the car." Olivia sighed, "Thanks Fin" she said softly. He nodded and walked over to get in the car. Olivia looked at Rae and laughed, "Well that went just about how I expected" she said. "Yeah" Rae said laughing. "He's wrong, you know." Olivia furrowed her brow in confusion. "I'm older than Maureen" she joked causing Olivia to laugh. She turned and looked at Fin waiting in the car and turned back to Olivia, "You better go." Olivia nodded and leaned down, kissing her firmly on the lips one more time. She walked over to the car and got in the passenger seat. Rae stood there in the drive way and watched as they drove away.
