This is kind of combining both Jackie and Dreamer's ideas…

Sorry for being gone so long! I was on a break!

Hikaru and Kaoru glanced all around the park, taking in the shrill laughter and screams coming from every angle. Hikaru took a bite of his cotton candy and held onto his father's hand. Kaoru held his mother's hand and was trying to get a sip of the soda in her hand. The crowd seemed to be in waves, lines for everything going in zig-zags and people running to catch up with relatives. Kaoru dropped his mother's hand, stomping his foot grumpily and turning around, protesting going any farther.

"C'mon, Kao! You're going to get lost!" his mother called.

"No I won't!" Kaoru whined. He turned back around and looked up, expecting his mother to be right there. Instead, however, he met to nose of a black Great Dane. "AHHHH!" he screamed, running forward. The huge dog barked and his owner over slightly, trying to catch the boy. Kaoru looked back, pumping his legs until he smacked into a metal gate. He fell on his bottom and the tears spilled out. "M-mommaaaa!"

Suddenly, he felt two hands go under his armpits and he was raised up. "What happened?" a man asked. Kaoru opened his eyes, tears still making a b-line for his chin.

"I-I don't kn-now where my m-momma or d-daddy are…!" he cried. Then, he paused. "Hika! Where's Hikaru?!" he cried even harder, squirming in the man's arms.

"Hold on, Sonny. I'm going to call over the park for them, okay?" Kaoru hesitated for a moment before nodding, watching the man hit a button. "What's your name?"

"K-Kaoru Hitachiin…"

The man nodded, speaking into the slits above the little button, "Could the parents of Kaoru Hitachiin please make their way to the go-carts. Again, the parents of Kaoru Hitachiin to the go-carts, please." Kaoru sniffled, wiping his nose on his blue t-shirt.

Hikaru was furious, turning in every direction at least ten times before facing his mother. "You lost him!" he yelled. "You lost Kaoru!"

"I'm sorry, Sweetie. I told him to come back!" Mrs. Hitachiin tried to calm her older son, picking him up. Hikaru smacked at her arms, kicking his legs as he tried to get down.

"Hikaru, calm down." Mr. Hitachiin begged.

"No!" Hikaru shouted. Several mothers looked to the screaming boy curiously, watching his tantrum. "I want KAORU!" he yelled.

"We'll find him!" Mrs. Hitachiin exclaimed.

"Now!"

"Hikaru, stop this!"

"NO! KAO!" Hikaru kicked even harder, a bruise all ready forming on his mother's leg.

"Could the parents of Kaoru Hitachiin please make their way to the go-carts. Again, the parents of Kaoru Hitachiin to the go-carts, please."

"Go-carts!" Hikaru jumped down, much to the surprise of his mother. "Kaoru!" he yelled, running toward where he hoped his brother would be.

"Kaoru!" Hikaru yelped when he saw his brother.

"Hika!" Kaoru jumped down from the table he sat on. The two hugged, Hikaru refusing to let go of his brother.

"Don't do that again!" Hikaru reprimanded.

Kaoru giggled, "You sound like Momma…where IS Momma…?"

"Umm…" Hikaru giggled, scratching the back of his head.

"Hikaru! Kaoru!" Their parents appeared, scooping the twins up.

"Don't ever scare us like that again, Kaoru!" Mrs. Hitachiin sighed, on the brink of tears.

"Don't ever run off like that again, Hikaru!" Mr. Hitachiin scolded.

"We won't, we won't…" the boys said in unison, smiling at each other. Their parent's stood them up beside each other, taking either of their hands. Hikaru took his brother's hand, no way was he letting him get lost again.
