Chapter 54: The Last Time

It was three hours later and they'd yet to come out of their room. Everyone else thought that they should just leave them alone but Ashley disagreed. They hadn't come up here for the weekend to stay in their rooms all day long. She wanted to get out and have the fun they had in mind when they planned the trip. She bounded up the stairs two at a time and knocked on Rae and Olivia's bedroom door. She barged in, not even waiting for them to answer. Rae was laying on her back and Olivia was laying on her stomach with her head between Rae's legs. Ashley could only see Rae because Olivia was under the covers.

"Hey, are you planning on spending the entire weekend in your room?" she asked. Rae jumped at the sound of Ashley's voice but Olivia seemed unphased by the intrusion. She continued her movements with her tongue as if Ashley weren't in the room. "Ashley!" Rae yelled, "Do you knock?"

"Yeah, I do. And I did" Ashley said. "Get out!" Rae yelled again trying not to give away the fact that Olivia was going down on her under the covers. "Why are you in bed? You have to come out of this room. I mean, it's a really nice room but we wanna go out. " she said ignoring Rae's commands. "Ok, fine. Now, get out" she said trying to control her breathing. "When are you gonna come down? And where's Olivia?" At the sound of her name, Olivia took three fingers and pushed them into her. Rae bit back her moan and put her hands over her face. "Ashley, get...out" she said through her hands. Ashley saw the covers moving and realized what was going on. "Oh my god" she breathed out, "We'll be waiting downstairs". She quickly turned around and left the room, shutting the door behind her. Not soon after Rae had her eighth orgasm of the day. Before they got out of the bed, she was already planning her revenge. They got dressed and went downstairs with everyone to plan what they'd be doing for the rest of their stay. Ashley, no matter how much she tried to hide it, was extremely uncomfortable. Rae decided to pull her aside to talk to her.

"Ashley, listen, about what happened earlier...". Ashley stopped Rae in the middle of her sentence, "Don't even worry about it. It was my fault. I shouldn't have barged in like that. I'm sorry" said quickly. "Ok, but I don't want things to be awkward between us". Ashley shrugged her shoulders, "Nothing's awkward. We're good" she said. "That's not true, Ash. I can tell that you're bothered by it" Rae said. Ashley couldn't deny it. Rae knew her too well. "Ok, so it bothers me but whatever. I'll get over it" she said dismissively. Rae looked unconvinced. "Look, you know how I feel about you. That hasn't changed but I know you're happy with Olivia and that we're just friends and I'm gonna have to accept that. And I will. I'll get over it. I promise" she said. Rae kissed her on the cheek and pulled her into a hug. They rejoined everyone back in the living room to plan the rest of their weekend.

For the first night they decided to stay in and cook dinner together. They piled into their cars and went to the nearest grocery store which was in a small town about twenty minutes from the cabin. They took a vote and it was six to two for mexican night. They bought everything to make tacos, nachos, quesadillas and margaritas, virgins for those under twenty one, as well as some groceries for the rest of the weekend. When they piled everything up at the checkout Rae took out her wallet and tried to pay. Everyone protested saying that they should split the bill.

"Guys, don't be ridiculous. I got it" she said pushing their money away.

"You're being ridiculous if you think we're gonna make you pay for all of this" Scott said.

"Well then I guess I'm not being ridiculous because you're not making me pay for anything. I've offered. It's fine". The total for the groceries came up to over three hundred dollars and Rae swiped her debit card like it was no big deal. Olivia felt a pang in her chest as she watched Rae, once again, taking care of everyone else. Just another reason for her to step back and give her the chance to not have anyone to take care of but herself. They gathered all the grocery bags and went back to the cars. When they got back to the cabin, Rae, Olivia, and Maureen started on the food and Ashley, Kensie and Jake started making the drinks. Julia and Scott just sat and watched, not wanting to mess anything up. Once everything was done, they all got their food and sat down in front of the fire place. They talked and ate and laughed and played the games they'd brought from home.

"Let's play truth or dare" Jake suggested. "Ummm, let's not" Rae said shooting down the idea. "Oh, come on. It'll be fun. I have some awesome dares in mind already" he said. "I'm sure you do" Maureen said rolling her eyes. "Don't tell me you guys are scared" he said goading them to play. "I think mature is the word you're looking for" Julia said chiming in. "We're not in high school anymore". Jake shrugged his shoulders, "Well, we are" he said gesturing between himself and Maureen. "Good, then you two can play together" she said getting a laugh from everyone. "I'll play" Ashley said nonchalantly. "Yes!" Jake yelled, "Come on, who else?". Olivia hesitated but finally spoke up, "I'll play too" she said. Rae turned and looked at her, surprised that she had volunteered to participate. Not soon after Olivia agreed to play, everyone else agreed to play too. Rae was the last one left to say yes or no. "Come on, Rae. It'll be fun" Jake said. She finally caved, "Fine but I am not doing anything that involves going outside" she said setting her one rule. "Deal". Maureen shook her head at Jake's enthusiasm and wondered what dares he had up his sleeve. "Alright, who wants to go first?" Scott asked. Nobody volunteered so Ashley thought she'd make it easy, "How about everyone pick a number between one and thirty and whoever is the furthest away goes first?" she suggested. Everyone agreed and picked their numbers, one by one saying them aloud. Rae picked the number she knew Ashley was thinking; thirteen, her favorite number. Kensie's number was the furthest from thirteen so she had to go first.

"Alright Kens, truth or dare?" Jake asked. She picked the latter and as soon as Jake told her the dare, she regretted choosing it. After Rae heard what he'd dared her to do she regretted agreeing to play. "Come on, it's not gonna be that bad" he said, "You'll be fine. We'll be right there. Well all of us except for Rae". He dared her to go up to the next cabin, naked, ring the bell and ask whoever answered to use their phone. She was supposed to call Rae and tell her she'd made it. After two minutes, Julia would honk the horn for her to come out and then drive her back to the cabin. After some mental preparation she stripped out of her clothes and ran up to the next cabin in just her boots. She did everything she was supposed to do and Julia held up her end of the bargain. The game continued with more ridiculous dares and some embarrassing truths. Everyone had gone at least once and Rae was ready to call it night but they wanted to keep playing. Or at least Jake wanted to keep playing and nobody else objected. It came around to her turn again and Scott asked her truth or dare. She picked truth.

"What is your favorite thing that Liv does to you in bed?" he asked. Ashley slapped him on the shoulder and everyone else got noticeably uncomfortable. "What?" he asked, "Other people got asked sexual questions". Olivia blushed lightly waiting to hear what Rae would say. "Ummm...I...I don't know" she said with a nervous laugh. "I don't really have a favorite thing". She looked over at Olivia, "I love everything she does" she said with a soft smile. Olivia smiled back and leaned over, kissing her softly on the lips. "Awww. You two are so cute" Jake said sarcastically. Rae pulled one of the pillows off the couch behind her and threw it at him. "Ok, seriously. It's getting late and if y'all really want to start the day tomorrow at nine in the morning we should all go to bed" Rae said getting up from the floor. They all agreed and followed suit, picking up their plates and glasses and taking them to the kitchen. They put away the leftovers, loaded the dishwasher and started it before heading upstairs to their rooms for bed.

They woke the next morning, dressed, ate breakfast and left the cabin by eight thirty. First they went skiing, where Scott almost killed himself trying to go down the biggest hill at park, usually reserved for experts which he most definitely was not. They rented snow mobiles and raced each other through the designated wooded area. Rae and Olivia took a ride on the ski lifts, even though they had no intentions of taking the ski hill back down. They just wanted some time alone.

"This view is so beautiful" Rae said looking over the landscape.

"Yeah it is" Olivia whispered. Rae turned to look at Olivia and saw that wasn't looking at the scenery. She was staring at her. She blushed and looked down at her lap. Olivia reached over and took her hand and Rae laid her head on Liv's shoulder. They enjoyed the rest of the ride in comfortable silence. They met back up with the group for lunch at the ski park's cafe before heading into town to do some shopping. After a few hours, they drove back to the cabin to change their clothes for dinner. They'd seen a nice Italian restaurant while they were out and decided they'd try it out. Rae called ahead to make a reservation for them before she started getting ready. As usual she was the first girl downstairs, waiting with the guys for the other girls to finish getting ready. Olivia came down a few minutes after her, then Maureen, Julia and Kensie. Ashley was the last one to come downstairs, almost a half hour after the three girls before her.

"You're gonna make us late for our reservation" Rae said a little annoyed. "Sorry" she said putting her coat on, "I'm ready. Let's go". They all got up and loaded in the cars again to go to dinner. At the restaurant, Rae chose to have water instead of the wine she'd usually have if it were just her and Olivia. Olivia was already breaking the law by letting her drink. She didn't want to her to do it with everyone else and she thought it'd be unfair for her to drink and not everyone else who was underage. The restaurant was great and they decided to go to the movies after. Olivia was annoyed by the armrest separating her from Rae. She wanted to be as close as possible to her all weekend long. When they got back to the cabin, they started a fire in the fireplace and got out everything they needed to make smores. They roasted marshmallows and melted their chocolate on graham crackers and made hot cocoa. They sat around the fire and talked about all their plans and goals for the new year. A warmth came over Olivia that had nothing to do with the fire burning next to her. She watched Rae as she talked and laughed and the thoughts of what she was planning to do became too overwhelming for her. She got up and excused herself to the bathroom. She shut and locked the door behind her and let silent tears fall down her face. After a few minutes, she turned the faucet on and splashed water on her face. She dried her face and hands and looked at herself in the mirror, searching for anything that would give away that she'd been crying. She took a deep breath and rejoined the group, finding that Rae had gone upstairs. A few minutes later, she came back down wearing her robe, taking her hand and telling everyone they were retiring for the night.

When Olivia entered the bedroom, the lights were out and there were candles burning all around the room. She could hear the water running in the bathroom, filling the hot tub. The sweet smell of the candles filled the room and relaxed Olivia's worries. For right now, she wouldn't think about tomorrow or the next day or the day after that. Right now, it was just her and Araeyah and nothing could take her away from this place. Rae stood in front of her and wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Hey" she whispered looking up at her, "What are you thinking about?" she asked.

"Us" Olivia whispered back. "Just...us". She leaned down and kissed her girlfriend softly on the lips. "You should change and come into the bathroom" she said stepping away from, "I'll be waiting". She turned and walked to the bathroom, taking off her robe as she went. Olivia looked over and saw her own robe laying across the bed. She took off her clothes and grabbed her robe but didn't bother to put it on. When she walked into the bathroom, she saw more candles lining the hot tub along with champagne, melted chocolate and strawberries. Araeyah was sitting in the water surrounded by bubbles, sipping on her glass of champagne. Olivia stepped into the tub and took the glass from her, finishing the last of it before sitting it on the edge of the tub and kissing her hard on the lips. The kiss was rough, almost frantic, which Rae wasn't used to from Olivia but she wasn't about to complain. She'd always wondered if Olivia ever got rough with sex. She was surprised when Olivia lifted her out of the water and sat her on the edge of the tub. She took some of the chocolate with her fingers and smeared it over Rae's breasts and stomach and proceeded to lick it off, little by little. She wiped some of it up with strawberries and fed them to her girlfriend. They took turns putting the chocolate on each other and cleaning it off with their tongues until it was gone.

Olivia tried to take control but Rae had other plans in mind. She pinned Olivia against the edge of the tub, put her hand under the water and slipped two fingers into her with ease. She trusted in and out in perfect rhythm until she made her come. She continued to pleasure her lover, torturing her body the same way she had done to her the day before. Olivia reached her orgasm again and again and again and Rae didn't show any signs of stopping anytime soon. They eventually left the hot tub and went to the bedroom. Olivia took the reigns and remained in control for the rest of the night. She made love to Rae like it was the last time she'd be able to because for all she knew it was. A couple hours later, they collapsed on the bed, both physically and emotionally spent. Rae laid with her head on Olivia's chest, listening to her heart beat and playing with her hand, interlacing their fingers continually in different patterns.

"I love you so much" Olivia whispered into the darkness. Araeyah smiled, silently letting their hands fall, fingers still interlocked with each other. "I love you too" she whispered back. Within minutes they'd both fallen asleep.

They woke the next morning, showered and dressed then headed downstairs with everyone else. It was their last day at the cabin and nobody was ready to leave. They hadn't decided yet what time they'd be leaving and it seemed they were avoiding talking about it. They went out for breakfast and then to a skate park. Olivia refused to get on the ice with everyone else. Rae skated for a while without her before coming off and turning her skates in. They went over to the rink designated for kids and sat on a bench to watch them skate. They oooed and awwed over them, laughing and smiling at the little ones having fun. Rae looked at Olivia and saw a light in her eyes as she watched the kids play on the ice. She knew that Olivia loved kids and was pretty sure that she wanted some of her own but they'd never actually talked about it. She thought it was definitely too soon for them to have the kids talk but she also knew that if Olivia wanted to carry a child it'd be best if she did so within the next couple years. She figured when Olivia was ready she'd bring it up. They stayed at the skate park until noon when everyone said they were ready to go. They went back to the cabin, packed all of their things and loaded them in the cars. They got on the road, stopping for lunch before making the three and half hour drive back to the city. Rae and Olivia made it back to Rae's apartment by six in the evening to find that Jimmy's bags were packed and waiting by the door. He'd taken his bed down and put the furniture back the way it'd always been and was sitting on the couch waiting for them.

"Jimmy, what's going on?" Rae asked. Olivia grabbed her bags from her and took them into the bedroom to give them some privacy. Rae walked over and sat next to Jimmy on the couch.

"I talked to Jen this morning. She said I can check in tonight. Start program in the morning. I thought it'd be easier for you since you start classes tomorrow. I didn't want you to have to worry about me getting settled in" he explained. "I'm all ready to go. They're sending someone to pick me up". Rae was surprised that Jimmy had taken the initiative to make his own arrangements to get to rehab. "I can drive you" she said. He shook his head, "No, you just got in. You should relax and get ready for school tomorrow. I'll be fine". There was a knock on the door and Jimmy went over to open it.

"James Caston?" the man asked. Jimmy nodded and the man explained that he was one of the administrators from the rehab facility and would be escorting him in. Jimmy turned around to see Araeyah standing close behind him. He grabbed his bags and the man stepped forward to take them for him. "You understand that we search all your belongings at check in, right?" Jimmy nodded again and turned back to his sister. Rae moved closer to him and wrapped him in a hug so tight you'd think it was last time she'd ever see him again. "I'm so proud of you. You're gonna do great" she whispered in his ear. Tears fell down Jimmy's face as he became more nervous about going but hearing Rae whisper in his ear reassured him that he could do this.

The rehab administrator waited patiently for Jimmy in the hallway and Olivia watched from the bedroom doorway as Rae said goodbye to her brother. "You'll come visit me, right? When I'm allowed?" he asked with a shaky voice. Rae wiped his tears away, "Of course, I will. And until then you can call and write whenever you want" she said. He pulled her into another quick hug before letting go and walking out the door. Rae watched him walked down the hall and disappear down the stairs. She shut and locked the door then walked over to the window. She saw Jimmy get into a truck and she watched until it drove away. Olivia walked up behind her, wrapped her arms around her waist and kissed her on top of her head. She was gonna miss this, holding Rae and breathing in the scent of her hair. They stood there for a few more minutes before going into the bedroom and unpacking all their stuff. Rae took out what she'd be wearing to class and Olivia laid out her clothes for work. Rae took a quick shower and then got in bed. Olivia showered after her and came out of the bathroom to see she was already in bed. She sat on the edge of the bed next to her and put her hand on her hip.

"Hey, you ok?" she asked rubbing soothing circles on her hip with her thumb. Rae just silently nodded her head. "It's only eight forty five and you're already in bed" she pointed out.

"I'm fine. Just tired" she said softly. "Are you hungry? I can make something". Rae shook her head, "I'm ok" she said. "Are you sure? You haven't eaten anything since lunch". Rae shrugged her shoulders, "I'm not hungry". Olivia moved onto the bed and laid down behind her, wrapping her arm around her waist. "Jimmy's gonna be fine" she whispered in her ear. "I know" she whispered back. "Are you ready to go back to work?" she asked. "Oh yeah" she said, "especially since you're starting class. I don't know what I'd do if I had to sit in this apartment alone all day, every day". Rae chuckled thinking about how bored Olivia had been when she was home alone during the part of her suspension that Rae was still in school. "You ready to go back to school?"

"Yeah, I am" she said softly. She turned over to face Olivia, "We're gonna be ok, right? We won't let our busy schedules get in the way of us?" she asked. Olivia's heart dropped and she couldn't look Rae in the eyes. She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against Rae's. "We're gonna be fine" she whispered. Rae kissed her softly on the lips and then moved in closer to Olivia. By nine fifteen, they were both fast asleep.
