Chapter ninteen

It was a freak show. Mutated humans standing there for them, hundreds maybe even a thousand of them and in the far distance was Kabuto standing on a raised earth formation wearing a maroon coat and holding a rod with some sort of cross at the top, trying to look like god with his hair loose and falling around his face with Yusei? Skylar could feel he was a reanimation with the sharingan and rinnegan in his eyes like Kabuto had.

There was also something else up there but it covered by a cloth but whatever it was, it was pretty big and eye shaped. She could see the reanimated Yusei grinning and Kabuto held a stoic face like a bastard Skylar concluded as she sneered. Yusei performed some hand seals and the familiar sight of coffins appeared in the midst of the freak show of an army and the doors fell off and open.

Hyuuga Neji, the Akatsuki members, Orochimaru, Chiyo, Kimimaru and Jiraiya? Skylar's heart was dying by the second as she took in the reanimated faces, she was afraid and was angry at Kabuto for doing this to these people. The coffins disappeared and the reanimations came to life as they opened their eyes and zoned in on Skylar and Kiiro.

"I never thought I would have had to suffer through the reanimation, I must apologise now ladies but it is inevitable to fight you." Neji apologised to Skylar and Kiiro with a bow. "May I at least know your names and how long it has been since the war?" Neji asked.

"It's nice to meet you Hyuuga Neji, my name is Uzumaki Skylar and this is Kiiro… It looks like you'll be facing us." Skylar said with a sad smile and regret but at least she was getting to meet some of the people she hoped for. "It's been four nearly five years since the war ended and we won after fighting for two years… The Tsukuyomi took affect and the only ones not affected were Uzumaki Naruto, Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Sasuke."

"Sasuke?" Itachi asked, stepping forwards and Skylar couldn't help but smile at him… He was hot, even though he was just reanimated.

"He's come back to Konoha… In fact, meet his girlfriend Kiiro." Skylar said with a smirk and Itachi smiled at her and bowed.

"Thank you for taking care of him… If I may ask, are you perhaps related to Uzumaki Naruto?" Itachi asked her and she giggled and blushed.

"Kabuto who is currently up there is the one who 'created' her using Naruto's DNA, she's apart of Konoha as well as I." Skylar said to Itachi.

"An Uzumaki eh? I never thought I'd see another one who looks so much like Kushina." Jiraiya said with a laugh.

"Just to annoy you further Jiraiya… Naruto and I are actually together… That reminds me." Skylar said to the stunned Jiraiya before turning her attention to Kabuto and Yusei. "How were you able to get some of his DNA where it was, no one could get to it?" Skylar shouted up to Kabuto.

"Reanimation is amazing, that's how!" Yusei answered her for Kabuto with a manic laugh.

"Who's the crazy dude hm?" Deidara asked with annoyance.

"Sorry about him… He's actually my brother, I killed him a while ago as you can see he's a bit psycho." Skylar apologised sheepishly.

"If he managed to get Jiraiya-sensei's DNA, imagine who else's he has… I would suggest you retreat while you can." Nagato said, walking up with Kakuzu's help.

"That's what I'm worried about but it's a bit late now to retreat don't you think Nagato?" Skylar asked with doomed sarcasm and he smiled. "Anyway, while you're all still yourselves, I might as well tell you how I know all of you… A year after the beginning of the war I came from another dimensions from the reincarnated Rikudo Sennin in that dimension, he's my father but he could still remember his life here and knew what was going on but couldn't do anything so he found me after years of living in an orphanage and told me about this world being in trouble… Surprisingly though, in my dimension you're all part of a popular T.V. show which is how I know who you are and how you've affected this world… I know it's confusing but it's the truth." Skylar said, holding back a laugh at their confused and dumbfounded expressions.

"A T.V. Show huh… I could always imagine myself a star." Jiraiya said, taking the situation into his stride and laughing while everyone grimaced and sweat dropped before Kabuto interrupted their chat.

"Enough chit chat, let's get this over with. Give up willingly Skylar and maybe I'll let you live." Kabuto said calmly with a smirk.

"I don't think so asshole, if I came here to give myself up I wouldn't be carrying me weapons with me now would I?" Skylar asked rhetorically with an eyebrow raise and she heard some of the reanimated people snigger and choke a laugh back. Kabuto scowled with annoyance and anger.

"Fine then." Kabuto said as the reanimations jumped back by Kabuto and Yusei. "Minions, take them down." Kabuto said coolly and all of the mutants' eyes landed on them and some of them had some sort of sharingan be it the full sharingan or a tomoe or two in the eye. Skylar performed the summoning jutsu and Seiryu, Byakko and Suzaku appeared and Seiryu moved to Kiiro and became ethereal around her waist. Skylar looked to Kiiro at the sudden burst of power from her and smirked.

"I would swear Naruto is trying to turn you into the complete girl version of himself." Skylar said with sarcasm as she eyed Kiiro's toad sage mode. Kiiro just grinned and prepared her kunai and weapons as Skylar did the same thing and took her scythe out of one scroll. "Right, we'll take out the freaks first and then deal with the reanimations… You ready?" Skylar asked Kiiro as she they both stood at the ready and in sage mode.

"I've never been so ready before in my life." Kiiro said with a hard tone as they ran for the crowd and began cutting down the people in front of them and around them as they got separated and surrounded by the freaks.

"Well, that's a surprising turn of events." Itachi muttered, standing with the other reanimations.

"What is hm?" Deidara asked with annoyance.

"They're both in sage mode." Neji pointed out.

"What… sage mode?" Jiraiya asked as he squinted to see them.

"Kiiro is in toad sage mode like Naruto and Skylar is well… In the Rikudo Sennin's sage mode, that dragon god, Suzaku proves it." Itachi said with surprise to his voice.

"What do you mean the 'Rikudo Sennin's sage mode'?" Jiraiya asked with annoyance and Itachi gave everyone the low down on it and the Four Gods.

"But she doesn't have the rinnegan." Itachi concluded with confusion.

"So if she has it shouldn't Nagato also be able to de activate it?" Kisame asked, finally speaking up.

"My eyes were apparently given to me so no." Nagato concluded.

"Who says she doesn't actually have the rinnegan hm?" Deidara concluded.

"Wouldn't they be activated like Nagato's?" Sasori asked, also finally deciding to speak up.

"No, all natural dojutsus are activate able and deactivate able like Neji's byakugan and Itachi's sharingan… I heard that Madara was also able to use the rinnegan when he wanted." Chiyo said, also finally deciding to speak up.

"Who knows, we'll find out soon enough at how quickly she's destroying those freaks." Kimimaru spoke up, getting the group's attention back to the dwindling battlefield littered with bodies now.

Kiiro and Skylar stood a little out of breath and back-to-back as they looked at the remaining enemy, they were the ones with the full active sharingan in one or both eyes. The ground was slick with blood and they had to use chakra so they didn't slip, Kiiro had quite a lot of blood on her uniform while Skylar had a few drops here and there because she had been using a new move.

"Kiiro, get back, I'll finish them off quickly, they won't have time to see my move again or the speed." Skylar panted to the girl against her back. Kiiro took off quickly and as soon as she did, the enemy tried to follow her and Skylar stepped in. "Lightning release: Protection of the eight trigrams sixty-four palms." Skylar said, releasing a Chidori spear from both of her hands and swinging her arms around in calculated movements as it looked exactly like Hinata's special move but with the lightning release. Like Skylar deduced, the enemy was too slow to register and dodge the attack and fell to the bodies on the floor in pieces as her attack ended with a clear path to Kabuto and the other reanimations as Kiiro joined her again.

"Nice moves." Kiiro said still a little out of breath.

"Thank you… I'll remember to thank Hinata and my hellish dance teachers one day." Skylar said back to her as she waited for the next round of attacks.

"So who of the great ninja before me will fight these girls first?" Kabuto shouted across the open area as dark clouds began rolling in. The reanimations seemed confused for a second and seemed to test out their bodies.

"So you're giving them a choice… Why?" Skylar shouted up to Kabuto.

"Because… It makes for a great show plus I've already seen a massacre today now I want to see one on one battles so either the reanimations choose among themselves or you choose which will it be?" Kabuto said, gaining a manic look to his face.

"I'll fight and get this over and done with…" Kimimaru said with a board and slightly annoyed tone about being resurrected again.

"I'll take the blondie, she looks like the Kyuubi jinchuuriki." Sasori said. "I don't like to wait around."

"Be careful Kiiro, he's a puppet master and uses a high density poison that kills you in three days… Don't get hit." Skylar warned as she got into a defensive side stance, her scythe up and across her back as she lowered herself to the ground to take on Kimimaru. Kiiro nodded, watching her opponent as they stepped forwards and they could hear their breathing, steady yet fast as adrenalin still coursed through their veins. Skylar slipped a scroll out and placed some of her blood across two of the seal as she passed a huge roll over to Kiiro who clipped it onto her back, as did Skylar.

The other reanimations watched on as they clashed, Kiiro was quick and flexible as she twisted and jumped into odd positions, dodging the hundred puppets Sasori brought out straight away and the clash of metal against bone as Skylar's scythe clashed against Kimimaru's bone sword.

"Kabuto has more up his sleeve." Nagato said as he watched on with worry.

"I know… If he can summon Jiraiya-sama and you from my sealing from the war… I just hope he doesn't have Madara's." Itachi said, crossing his arms as he watched.

"Madara is no threat to her, she brought him down easily when I was still alive." Orochimaru said as all eyes were wide and they turned back to the fight… This could be a long couple of days.

Naruto could hear his heart pounding in his chest as he ran with Sasuke at his flank, following Skylar and Kiiro's chakra because he could feel so many familiar chakras there as well… The sad part was they were suppose to be dead. There was multiple blasts set off ahead and Naruto swallowed as he shared a worried look with Sasuke.

"What's going on?" Kakashi asked from behind them with the rest of their teams.

"Two chakras disappeared a while ago and that's when the blasts started going off." Naruto said as he felt Kurama bristle from inside of him.

"Those blasts look surprisingly similar to Deidara's and I just hope I'm wrong or Skylar knows about his abilities and weaknesses." Sasuke said as they focused on running again.

Skylar breathed in harsh gasps as her one arm hung loosely to the side, holding her scythe and the other holding her ribs as her breathing was taking a strain on the fractures and possible breaks as she glared at Nagato, her second fight as Kiiro was on hers against Deidara.

"Do you actually have the rinnegan?" Nagato asked as Skylar focused on breathing and stood a little more upright again as her breathing slowed down.

"I did… I don't anymore after taking Tobi out. It was a borrowed power that nearly killed me." Skylar explained as Nagato nodded, setting off rockets again as she focused on dodging them to save energy and chakra because she was depleting it fast with jutsus and she hadn't even used the Hiraishin yet. Kiiro's scream cut across the land as an explosion was sounded, temporarily lapsing Skylar's concentration and Nagato took the distraction as he summoned his beasts that charged right for her. Skylar looked back and cursed as she flipped backwards, twisting to dodge attacks but some of them failed as she was flung across the field further away from Kiiro where she could smell so much of her blood.

Skylar cursed as she had no choice, focusing on Kiiro's senbon as the beasts charged at her and narrowly missed her as she flashed over to Kiiro and used her wind to knock Deidara's explosions away, aimed right for them and Deidara pouted, up on his clay dragon. Kiiro had lost her sage mode and panting with her eyes screwed shut, blood pouring down her chin as Skylar quickly assessed her and it didn't look good… She was out of commission from now on as Skylar picked her head up carefully. Blue eyes opened with vengeance and looked at Deidara and Kiiro smirked as she looked at him.

"Boom." Kiiro whispered as an explosion happened underneath the dragon, ripping it apart as Deidara was sent flying and Kiiro's shadow clone caught Deidara mid air, sealing him tight and Skylar smiled down at her friend.

"A dangerous plan but it worked… Keeping a shadow clone hidden and transformed but now it's time to leave the fight." Skylar said as she watched Kiiro's shadow clone disappear and Nagato aimed missiles at her as she flashed away, back to a senbon she left in the clearing of the forest, setting Kiiro down gently where she'd be covered and seen if someone came up to see what was happening.

"No… I can still fight." Kiiro whispered out in determination as she tried to sit up but Skylar pushed her back down.

"Tell Naruto I love him." Skylar said with a sad smile as she flashed away and Kiiro reached with wide and scared eyes.

"NO!" She shouted as tears sprung to her eyes and she began coughing up blood as she tilted her head to look at the battlefield and watched as Skylar reappeared, fighting the huge animals once again.

Skylar knew she couldn't keep dodging as she used her sensing abilities to keep track of the vision-linked animals to dodge in time only to have to dodge again. Shit, if there was ever a time for her brain to work it would be now. Suzaku and Byakko became tangible again as Seiryu showed up from Kiiro as the dragons set out for offence back at the animals as Nagato watched with worry.

"You need to hit them hard to get them to disappear." Nagato said, hinting at her as he could tell Yusei and Kabuto were getting restless watching this and was afraid they'd make him get involved as well.

"I know dammit!" She shouted back at him, purple eyes meeting his rinnegan for a second and he smiled as he watched Skylar get a good hit in on the dog with a sage powered upper cut into its stomach, seemingly breaking it's back as it disappeared in a poof of smoke as the dragons took the millipedes as that also disappeared. Skylar threw her scythe at the rhino's back, the blades shooting forwards, not giving it time to dodge as it also disappeared as she grabbed the bird's beak and tipped it over, skidding to a halt and dropping it onto is back with a wrestling move as it too disappeared. Among the chaos, the animals were taken out one by one with the three dragons and Skylar and Nagato smiled… Maybe she could defeat him. The last animal disappeared in a poof and purple eyes turned on him as the black dragon wrapped its ethereal self back around her waist and the ground under him rumbled, getting hotter. The fiery red dragon burst forth, wrapping around him tightly before he could react.

"Fire style: Grand Phoenix Extermination Body Flame." Suzaku said as her body turned blue and ice cold before he was burned into nothingness. She flew back over to Skylar who was making her way over to him as he regenerated slowly and he smiled.

"Well done." Nagato said as she sealed him.

"I'm surprised you beat the rinnegan again… Next." Kabuto applauded lazily as he ordered the next opponent up as Kakuzu stepped up, grinning and Skylar shivered… Kakuzu freaked the hell out of her and she swallowed, retracting her scythe back into her hands as Seiryu and Suzaku took their ethereal places across her back and over her shoulders as she stood defensively… His four other masked black figures appearing and standing at the ready.

"Seiryu, take the lightning beast, Suzaku the wind beast and Byakko against Kakuzu himself, I'll take the fire and water ones." Skylar ordered apprehensively as she swallowed again, receiving chakra from the dragons before they detached themselves from her and eyed their opponents.

Naruto skidded and changed direction through the forest as everyone followed with confusion… The chakra was weak and much like his own which made him push faster as he reached the source of the flickering chakra and the scent of a lot of blood.

"Shit, Kiiro!" Naruto said with worry, skidding next to his blonde counter part with Sasuke, kneeling on the other side of her. Hurt blue eyes opened as her breathing was harsh as Sakura skidded down next to them quickly and began working.

"Sky… lar." She whispered, blood spraying from her mouth as she looked past Naruto and Naruto followed her gaze onto a blood slicked battlefield.

"Skylar!" Kakashi said, his eye wide as she dodged the fireballs and the water scorching after her as the fire and water beasts of Kakuzu's had blended together. Skylar was running and dodging quickly, straight for the wind beast Suzaku was chasing after, they watched as her scythe twirled in her fingertips behind her back and she jumped up, rolling forwards as she brought the blade, clean through the middle of the wind beast and through it's mask as Suzaku tackled the water and fire combo chasing after Skylar, narrowly missing each other as Suzaku flew underneath and took out the beast's legs.

Wind flared up as a scorching water ball was thrown her way after the combo beast got out of Suzaku's hold and boiling water seeped onto the ground and Skylar looked down and tip toed backwards, slightly off balance as she regained her footing, placing her hands on the ground, lightning sparking through the water as it shocked the beast and Skylar jumped up to kneel on Suzaku's back as the beast regained it balance and bearings back.

"We need to do something… She's not going to last much longer." Naruto said, standing up before Kakashi grabbed his shoulder to stop him shooting off.

"We won't get close enough." Kakashi said, pointing in another direction and Naruto felt his breath hitch as his chest throbbed painfully… Reanimations… Including his master.

"We've taken out… Four already…" Kiiro whispered out as Sakura worked with furrowed brows.

"Who were they?" Sai asked as he got down on his haunches where Naruto just was.

"She called them… Kimimaru… Sasori… Nagato and Deidara." Kiiro said before closing her eyes tiredly and Naruto cursed.

"No wonder she's so beaten up… Not to mention those other bodies you two took out before hand. Kaka-sensei, we have to do something." Naruto said desperately as he began to pace the length of Kiiro's body.

"There's eight reanimations all together and then Kabuto. Yusei will stay by his side most likely and there is seven of us capable of still fighting… You do realise what will happen if we step in Naruto?" Kakashi asked seriously, stress high in his voice and Naruto sighed, looking at Jiraiya.

"We can't just sit around and let Skylar shoulder this again… We have no other choice if everyone is okay with this plan of action." Naruto asked the team who seemed as determined as he was.

"I just want to get Kiiro stable first and then we can all join in the fight." Sakura said, determination in her green eyes as Naruto smiled at her.

The blades of Skylar's scythe flew through the lightning creatures back and through it's mask, shattering it as she hopped off of Suzaku and rushing over to Seiryu who was hurt and lying on the ground. She healed his stomach as she watched Byakko battling with Kakuzu and loosing slowly, being pushed back. She saw the combo water and fire beast coming up with a readied attack at Byakko as Suzaku looked after Seiryu and Skylar ran for Byakko, throwing a senbon and making it to take Kakuzu's attack to her stomach and the full force of a fire and water vortex, hitting her from behind as she was thrown.
