The Opera ghost's whisper
I do not own anything
Chapter 8
A lot of events in this Diary were completely different from the story I read in Gaston's book. I couldn't believe it. After that day, February 5th, things seem to be pretty normal, they lived like a real married couple, except that they slept in a different room.
oOo
November 1st, 1857, night.
Yesterday, Christine told me that she saw a wedding and she wanted to become a bride one day.
She wanted to get married, did she found someone that she could love and give everything she had to him?
November 4th, 1857, day.
Christine talk me into taking a walk around the village with her again, today. It has been three days since she told me about her dream. After November 1st, she kept pulling out of my room for a walk. And she kept pointing at something like kids, white dresses, flowers, churches.
Was she trying to tell me that she wanted me to leave so that she and her lover could live with each other?
September 7th, 1857, night.
I have decided, I would move back to Paris at the end of this year, I couldn't stay with Christine anymore, I could see that she didn't need me anymore. she had someone else she wanted to be with, and I was in her way.
She was not a kid with blue ocean eyes and brown hair anymore, she was an adult woman.
Who was ready to raise a family.
The time has come for me and her to be apart. I could feel it. Christine was in love with a man. And she would be happy, without me.
At least I got those memories, I would embrace them with both hands and hold on to them for the rest of my life.
With that, I would be in peace. Because I know, somewhere in this world, my Angel is living a very happy life under the sun.
oOo
I closed the Diary, the last page was written on September 7th, 1857, I guessed the Phantom decided that he didn't need a Diary to keep him sane again. But if he was the one who left, then why did the ghost asked me to come back?
'What if the ghost is the Diva?' I thought, but pushed it aside right away. ' that couldn't be true, if the ghost is the Diva, then she didn't have any excuse to ask for me to stay, she was in love with someone else, and if the Phantom didn't leave, she would not be able to live with the one she loves.'
Seemed like I have gone back to the start, and I would have to miss the show again, Russell said that the ghost didn't appear when I wasn't in the Opera house.
I guessed I would have to stay at home that day.
Russell would have my head for sure this time.
oOo
( Julian walked out of the room after putting the Phantom's Diary on his bookshelf, but right after he closed the door, the diary fell on the floor.
A light wind turned the pages. Pages after pages, until it stopped at one page. Which only had two lines written on it.)
oOo
I sat on the couch watching some boring game show. Today was the day Russell would re-open his Opera house, he told me to come since no weird things happened, but I lied that i was busy. I couldn't rist it, my friend gambed everything he had on this Opera house.
Then, I heard a loud noise in my workroom. Something broke my window!
I ran in and saw the Phantom's diary was on the floor. What was going on here? I thought I put it on the bookshelf after I read the last page in the Phantom's diary?
When I walked closer, I saw a page that I haven't read.
I wanted to die.
The form of this line was just like the other, it was written by the same person who wrote this diary, the Phantom was the one who wrote this.
But the second line.
Don't go where I can't follow, Angel.
This line was not like the others, it looked …. More like a woman's handwriting.
Angel…
Was it… from.. Christine Daae?
But how could it be? I thought that Christine Daae wanted to run away from…
…
Does this mean…
….
I ran out of the room as fast as I could, with my key in my hand, I had to come to the Opera house.
Or something dangerous... would happen to everyone.
