THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND LOVE OF THIS STORY! YOU GUYS REALLY KEEP ME GOING!
Please remember to review at the end! :)
Bonnie worked tirelessly to stop Caroline's side from bleeding, all the while Klaus held onto Caroline's right hand, urging her to hold on.
Bonnie sighed, as she stitched up Caroline's side, and stepped back.
They were in Klaus and Caroline's bedroom, where Bonnie felt Caroline might be comfortable. Klaus had helped Bonnie remove Caroline's dress, while the others waited outside. Now Caroline was only wearing a bandage over her chest, and a pair of pantaloons.
Bonnie lifted her gaze to Klaus, who was sitting next to Caroline on the bed, with his eyes never leaving her face.
"I've done what I can for the moment, Klaus." Bonnie whispered, watching Klaus nod. "I'll come back with some herbs, and clean the wound again. We need to be careful, so her wound won't become infected." She stated, with a serious tone.
Klaus nodded, but didn't say a word. Bonnie sighed, and continued on out the door, her dress covered in her friend's blood.
Klaus remained beside his wife, holding onto her right hand. He lifted his right hand and brushed her hair from her forehead. Leaning down, he kissed her forehead softly.
"Please come back to me, love." He whispered, kissing her forehead once more. "I need you." He added, with tears falling down his face.
He touched her face, and squeezed her hand tenderly. He closed his eyes, and placed his forehead on hers. "Swan, please wake up." He whispered, sniffing lightly.
He squeezed his eyes and more tears fell down his face onto hers. "Please, my love, come back to me." He whispered, brokenly.
He cried softly, his heart breaking inside. He needed her. He needed her to come back to him, so they could find their son.

Bonnie leaned against the wall on the outside of the room, and took deep breathes while her eyes closed. She felt a hand on her face, and she opened her eyes. She let out a small cry, as she fell into her husband's arms.
"We tried to get back as fast as we could." He whispered, still sweating and covered in mild blood of his enemies.
Bonnie nodded, and placed her chin on his shoulder.
"Are you hurt?" He asked, holding her tightly.
She sighed, and bit back a small sob. Kol pulled back, and looked at her face more closely. He scowled as he touched the bruises on her face, and the cut on her lip, and especially the red mark on her neck.
"What did they do to you?" He asked in a strangled tone.
Bonnie shook her head, and touched his face. "I'm fine, brown eyes." She whispered, laying her hands flat on his chest. "It's Caroline, I'm worried about." She replied, with a crack in her voice.
Kol's eyes narrowed. "What happened?" He asked, looking at the door and then to her dress. "Bonnie?"
She bit her bottom lip, and held back a sob, but a few tears trickled down her face. "Marcel stabbed her, and took David." She cried, lowering her face. "I tried to stop the bleeding, but she lost so much blood." She cried, feeling him pull her to him.
She sobbed into his chest, and Kol held her tight against him. His hands caressed her back as her sobs filled his ears. His eyes traveled back to the door, where his brother and sister-in-law were.
He closed his eyes tightly as he thought of what Klaus was going through at that moment. His wife was on the brink, and his son was taken by his mortal enemy.
Kol felt tears burn his eyes. If only God would help this family through, he had to believe that. He had to.

Jean ran as fast as she could across the ground when she heard the others had made it back. She saw Vaughn holding his left arm, and her heart clenched in her chest.
"You son of a bitch!" She shouted, as she stormed over to him. "What the hell did I tell you?!" She asked, throwing her arms outward.
Vaughn turned around, and his eyebrows went straight up.
"Why are you holding your arm?!" She shouted once more, stopping within an inch of him.
He smirked softly. "It hurts, lass." He replied, glancing at his wound.
She rolled her eyes. "Damn it, Galen! I told you not to get hurt! What if something happened to you?!" She stated, pushing against his chest.
"Bonnie Jean, I was perfectly fine. Marcel ambushed us, and considering what happened to the other men, I was lucky." He replied, grasping her upper shoulders.
She glared at him. "What others?" She asked, searching his eyes.
"The ones who attacked us, they got it worse than we did." He replied, with a smile.
Jean rolled her eyes, and pulled him into her embrace. "Just don't scare me like that again." She stated, in his ear.
"I promise, Bonnie Jean." He whispered, holding her tight. "How's Caroline?" He asked, pulling back.
Jean sighed. "She's still critical. Bonnie said she lost a lot of blood. What about David?" She asked, watching Vaughn shake his head.
"Marcel covered his tracks pretty well, so I lost their trail. Elijah had me search the entire area after I got separated from Stefan and Kol. They didn't know about Caroline or David." He replied, shaking his head.
"Well, they do now. Klaus hasn't left Caroline's side since she was brought in." She remarked, lowering her gaze.
Vaughn shook his head. "If he loses her, there is no telling what he will do." He whispered, watching Jean's face cloud over.
"I know what he'll do, and that's what scares me." She whispered, solemnly.
Vaughn sighed, and leaned forward to kiss his wife gently on the forehead. "Let's get you back inside; all this excitement is not good for you or the baby." He replied, seriously.
Jean leaned into his right side, and her free hand touched her stomach. She glanced at his left arm, and sighed. "I need to clean that wound." She stated, absently.
He nodded, and held her close. If anything were to happen to her or their child…
Please let Caroline be alright…for Klaus' sake, and for David's. Galen thought with a silent prayer.
~Marcel's Camp~
Marcel handed the infant to a small petite woman with a sorrowful gaze about her.
"Don't look so glum, D." He stated, as she held David in her arms. "Soon all of this will be over." He whispered, leaning forward.
Davina bit her tongue, and gazed down at the pale infant in her arms. His cerulean eyes were filled with sadness for such a young age, and his face was pale and drawn. "What have you done to him?" She asked, lifting her gaze to Marcel, who had started to walk away.
"I saved him." He stated, with a sneer on his lips.
Davina drew her breathe, and gazed tenderly at the young boy. "Everything will be alright, little one. I'll keep you safe." She whispered, kissing the baby's head.
David whimpered, and closed his eyes. Images of his mother going down filled his head, and hearing his father's voice calling her name filled his ears. He wanted his mother. He didn't want another woman taking care of him.
He wanted Caroline. He wanted Klaus. He wanted his family.
With that, he let out a quiet sob.
He wanted to go home.

Marcel entered his tent, and pulled off his blood-soaked shirt. He grunted, and moved his eyes down to his waist. He growled, as he tossed the shirt aside, turned to the small table to his right.
"Need any help?"
He smiled as he turned to the entrance. "From you, always." He whispered, watching her enter the tent.
She bent down to his level, and set the water basin on the floor, and dipped the rag he handed her in the water.
He watched as she began to wash off the blood on his side with careful precision, and pressed lightly on the wound.
He inhaled sharply, and she lifted her gaze in sorrowfully. "I'm sorry." She whispered, and he shook his head.
"No harm done." He whispered, studying her carefully.
She bent her head, and then wet the rag once more. "You lost a lot of blood, Marcel." She whispered, shaking her head.
He nodded. "That bitch queen stabbed me." He stated, harshly.
"I know. It was everywhere in the castle when they brought her back." She replied, firmly.
He glared at her. "She's alive!" He nearly shouted, but bit it back when she began to stitch up his wound.
She nodded. "The Bennett girl was tending to her, when I left." She replied.
He groaned, and gripped the bed cot with his hands. "Do they know you left?" He asked, as she put in another stitch.
She shook her head. "No, I snuck out of the palace to warn you." She lifted her gaze, placing the final stitch in. "Klaus is coming. His tracker friend has been searching the woods where David was taken, though he hasn't found anything so far, he will." She replied, darkly.
Marcel nodded. "We need to move then." He whispered, with a dark smile.
She nodded, and moved to stand up. He reached forward and grabbed her hand, pulling her in-between his legs.
She smiled, as his hands moved to her waist, and began rubbing through her dress skirts. She placed her hands on his bare shoulders, and smiled down at him.
"I've missed you." She whispered, gently massaging his shoulders.
He smiled, and pulled her tighter to him. "I've missed you." He whispered, waiting for her to bend over. "Come here, my love." He added, with a wink.
She smiled, and bent over. Teasingly, she brushed her lips across his.
He chuckled when she pulled back. "Oh, love, that's not enough." He replied, tightening his hold.
She shrugged her shoulders, and shook her head. "You're injured, my love." She whispered, bending over to nibble on his ear.
He growled, and turned his head, to move her hair from her neck to nibble under her ear. "You've been gone for days. I've been missing you." He whispered, seductively.
She shivered, and tilted her head back. "I've missed you, but…" She trailed off, when his hands began to lift her skirts.
He moaned as she scratched his bare chest. She stepped back for a moment, and then straddled him. She sat on his lap, being careful of his wound, and wrapped her hands around his neck.
"You should return to the castle." He whispered, nibbling her neck.
"Hmmm…" She moaned, and pulled closer to him. "I thought you wanted me." She whispered, huskily.
He shivered, as she began to move over him. "I do, my love, but if you don't return, they will know it was you who told about the move." He whispered, kissing her neck tenderly.
She moaned, and held him close, before she moved to get up. He caught her waist, and grinned wickedly. Pulling her back on his lap, he pushed her sleeves of her dress down, to reveal her pert white breasts. He licked his lips softly, before bending his head to suckle her seductively.
She began to shiver and moan as the sensations his mouth was creating, waved over her body. Her hips rocked gently over him, and he moaned into her breasts.
Her head bent back, as her back arched. He grinned against her skin, and lifted his head for only a moment, before pulling her nipples into his mouth once more, hard.
She clawed at his back, and shivered as the pleasure became too much for her to contain. Her body shook as the white wave of pleasure shook her to the point of collapsing against him.
He held her gently, and brushed her hair back. He had come with her, and his body was shaking just as bad as hers.
"I shall never get enough of you, my darling." He whispered, kissing her head on his shoulder.
She smiled, and sat up with her breasts showing brightly. "I'll see that you don't." She stated, kissing his lips with a wild passion.
He chuckled as she climbed off him, and glanced at his wound once more. "Be sure to keep your wound clean." She ordered, pointing at the wound.
He nodded, and sent her a wink, standing up to see her out. "I will, my love, and I look forward to your messages." He whispered, kissing her lightly on the lips, before she headed out the tent back towards the castle.
He sighed as he watched her go. She truly was a treasure, for she had helped him after he had lost his family, and shown him the path back to reality. He couldn't have made it without her, and he loved her. She was his, all his.

Caroline was fighting against the darkness, and was drawn to the voice whispering in her ears. She needed to fight. She had her son to get back to. She had Klaus.
She couldn't leave them. Klaus needed her, and so did David.
Her head shook slightly as images played in her mind, of Marcel taking her son away, of Klaus bending over her, crying for her to stay with him. She had to wake up. Her husband needed her. She had to.
She moaned in her sleep, and Klaus lifted his head from hers, and stared down at her sleeping face.
"Caroline?" He whispered, tears making treks down his cheeks. "Open those sea eyes, love." He whispered, caressing her face.
When she didn't respond, his heart fell in his chest. Closing his eyes, he turned his head and bowed it, while he tucked his lips between his lips.
Tears began to fall faster through his closed eyelids, and held back a sob. He needed to stay strong. He needed to fight. His wife needed him to pull her back.
He opened his eyes, and turned back to her. She hadn't budged. Pulling his right hand from her face, he picked up her right hand, and brought it to his lips.
Gently, he kissed her knuckles, and dropped his forehead on them. He let out a quiet sob.
He had failed his family. He had promised to protect them, and what happened? His wife was near death, and his son was missing. Some husband he turned out to be.
"Don't cry, Nik."
His brow furrowed, and he lifted his head. His breathe caught in his throat as he gazed into the eyes of his beloved wife.
"Caroline?" He choked out.
Caroline smiled faintly as she nodded. "I'm here, my love." She whispered, lifting her left hand to touch his face.
Klaus grasped the hand and kissed it fervently. Tears continued to pour from his eyes, as he smiled in relief. His wife was awake.
She returned his smile, and closed her eyes when he bent over to kiss her lips with a small amount of passion between them.
"I thought I lost you." He whispered, against her lips, trailing his lips to her cheek.
She smiled. "I will always fight for you, Niklaus, you know that." She whispered, though her voice was slightly hoarse.
He smiled through his tears. "When I saw you lying on the ground, blood soaking up your side…" He trailed off in his pain.
She shook her head. "I will never leave you, Klaus." She stated, touching his face with her left hand.
He bent over, and kissed her lips with joy coming out of the touch, but for only a moment. He pulled back, and noticed her eyes faded into sadness.
"David…" She whispered, tears filling her eyes.
He sighed, and his eyes flashed darkly. "Marcel took him. Vaughn tried to track him, but lost the trail. We'll find him, love. I swear to you we will." He stated in a dark tone.
She nodded, and caressed his face. "I know you will, Nik." She whispered, her eyes filled with sadness. "I tried to fight for him, but there were too many of them." She added, sadly. "I hid him in the bushes, but Marcel found him. He…stabbed me after I fought my way to David." She cried, touching her husband's chest. "I stabbed Marcel in the side before he stabbed me." She whispered, with a faint smile.
Klaus smiled at the knowledge, and brushed her blonde hair away from her face.
"But our son, Nik…" She cried, her voice cracking as she tried to sit up. "He took our son!" She shouted, while Klaus tried to gently push her down on the bed. "We need to find him, Nik. How long is he going to last without us?" She cried, grasping Klaus' shirt.
Klaus shook his head, and held back his tears. "We have to believe that he will be strong enough, Swan. After all, he's half you, and you are the strongest person I know." He stated, trying to comfort his wife.
She smiled, though it was a weak smile. "And he's half of you, Niklaus, he's just as stubborn and he has your strength as well." She whispered, with certainty.
Klaus nodded, and smiled, touching her face gently. "See, he will be alright. We just have to have faith." He whispered, though inside he was boiling with anger.
Caroline sensed his anger, and touched his face. "You'll find him, Klaus. I know you will." She whispered, tears falling down her face.
He shook his head. "No, Caroline, we will find him." He stated, in a dark tone. "And Marcel will pay for what he had done to you and to our son." He growled, lifting his gaze to the window. "I'll cut his heart out slowly, and stuff it down his throat." He replied, with satisfaction.
Caroline smiled at her husband's words. Normally, she detested violence, but this man had hurt her and had taken her son. This was war.
"Only if you get to him before I do." She stated with just as much satisfaction. "He shouldn't have angered the mother." She added, with venom.
Klaus smiled. No, Marcel shouldn't have angered a mother, especially a mother like his Caroline, his Swan.
