Well, guys, here's a new chapter- as I was struck with inspiration at a quarter to five in the morning. ...This should be worthwhile.

When we last left the OC and Nobodies, they had been attacked by The Creeper (no, not the 'Scooby Doo' villain), and Kiff ended up mortally wounded... which is a bad thing because his parents are probably going to kill the author once they find out.

"Damn right, we will!" Hardy shouted.

"Hardy, don't interfere with the narrative, no matter how right you are." Drew coaxed him.

(ahem) Well, this chapter actually takes a view of Kiff... who's unconcious, so it more likely focuses on the three people in the room with him: Blackrose, Lamone, and Nessie.

Storm had treated his wounds hours ago, yet he didn't show any signs of a quick recovery (a/n: though I hope he does, I want to live! ...er, not that I can die, but what his mother can put me through is much worse!)

"Just let him rest," Storm had said, before going out to tend to the others.

Nessie sat in silence, a bit unnerved about being in the same room with Lamone, the former King of the Vampires- he had passed the role down to Alyx, Edwin's daughter, years ago as she had the wisdom, compassion, and strength fit to do so, let alone a better sense of humor so she wasn't so intimidating that a simple look would make you drop dead from shock- oh crap, he's glaring at me!

"Can we get through this chapter WITHOUT the narrator breaking the fourth wall?" Lamone sneered.

(Sorry).

Anyway, Nessie had heard how brutal Lamone could be- even the narrator was afraid of him!- let alone would show no mercy. She heard the story of how he practically ripped Marlow's intestines out for killing Brielle's family, let alone had the ability to wipe one's memory clean if he didn't trust them... he would have done it to his enemies, yet Marlow had learned too much of him and had him and his group prepare themselves so not to fall victim. Not only that, but Lamone had once died- well, three times actually, if you count he had been in a dormant state for ten years- yet recovered and still had the capability of ripping someone's head off.

Then there was Blackrose, basically the closest person Kiff bonded with. Nessie had once heard that, back in FF2's story Bitten, when they had the ability to change their own ages (which Wherever Girl had changed as it was getting too confusing), they had dated... or at least, Kiff had suggested it, though their mothers started brawling. The two decided to just stay friends, as Lilly was trying to get over the fact that she almost had a relationship with her own cousin/creator, FF2... which, due to the constant 'age change', probably would never have worked out, especially since she had just been born in that story... almost sounds like that stupid fourth film of that damn 'Twilight' saga-

"DID YOU JUST COMPARE MY COUSIN AND I TO THAT FUCKING MESSED-UP FAN-SERVICE BASED STORY?!" Blackrose screamed at the narrator.

"Uh, considering FF2 isn't a pedophile, and it was all a misunderstanding namely because he just forgot what age you were supposed to be AND never realized he was part of the Fangsworth family- whereas Jacob Black wanted to hook up with Ness, despite she was pretty much 7 and only rapidly matured (which makes no sense as normally vampires are supposed to age at a SLOW pace), I highly doubt there's THAT much comparison." Nessie quoted.

"Still, I'm going to impale ATF just for writing that," Blackrose growled, then arched an eyebrow. "By the way... what do you think of that idea?"

"Besides the fact that it's disgusting and Stephanie Meyer has no idea what the term 'imprinting' is supposed to mean and should be executed for writing so much disturbing crap? ...I try not to let it bother me." she looked back at Kiff as she said this.

"Huh... a character based off that saga hates the author who wrote it."

"Quite contradictory, isn't it? Though I can't say I blame her," Lamone replied. "There's been times when I myself have wanted to strangle my author, just for putting me in Fanfiction."

"Scoobycool9's version is better though." Nessie said. "In it, Izzy- my mother- starts out emo, but it's because her mother abandoned her, and her father has had little to no contact with her so living with him is awkward. But she starts to feel better when she meets Eddie- my dad- who had been adopted by the Cullens when his family had been killed by werewolves, thus where the whole 'werewolf vs. vampire' cliche comes in... but it turns out it was those three evil vampires who killed them (we're ripping off the first Underworld movie, here). And Izzy doesn't become a vampire just because she wants to, but is transformed into one when she gets shot, Eddie being the one who bites her of course. Then they get married after college, and have a child. But, after I'm born, they went missing, leaving me in Jake's care as I had an imprint- that means as a child I saw him, and he took care of me like his own daughter- and that's how I became half-werewolf. ...Oh, and did I mention no one sparkles?"

"Thank you for that story-within-a-story, now can we focus on the plot at hand?"

"Hold it... what happened afterwards?" Blackrose asked. "Did you ever find your parents?"

Nessie shrugged. "Scoobycool9 didn't get that far yet. Once he started 'Reality Twisted' and other stories, he pretty much put it on the back-burner. They've been on vacation since then, only showing up for Missing in Fiction 3, and a scene in Reality Twisted 3 (or was it 4?) where they send Stephanie Meyer's characters into deep space."

"That was the best scene ever, by the way."

"I know."

There was a pause then, as they turned their attention back to Kiff.

"So, why do you like my cousin?"

Nessie fumed. "I don't! What makes you think I do?!"

Blackrose held up a laptop. "Scoobycool9's stories."

Nessie growled.

"You might as well just let it out," Lamone stated. "The longer you deny it, the more humiliating it feels. Plus, you shouldn't feel ashamed to love anyone- if people poke fun at it, it just labels them as immature twats."

Nessie sighed. "Fine. Yes, I like Kiff... even if he keeps throttling me. But I let it go because I've heard what a good kid he is! I mean, sacrificing half his powers to save Silver? Risking his life for his friends, even if they can handle themselves? Not afraid to show any emotion? Joining the Ouran Host Club? The kid is practically every girl's dream come true! I'm surprised he doesn't have his own fan-girls!"

"He used to, until Brielle scared them off because she didn't want anyone glomping her son," Blackrose explained. "WG also threatened to impale anyone who so much as wrote anything including such things... and Pugsy just told him to wait until marriage and show some respect for women."

"So why does he beat me up?"

"Because you remind him of Jennifer,"

Nessie arched an eyebrow. "Jennifer?"

"WG's sister. She's always critical and picking a fight- though the difference is you've never tried to control someone, break their spirit, tried to force them to have an abortion just for being a surrogate mother for a cartoon's child, or made fun of her boyfriend even though he's smart, respectful, caring, and funny."

Lamone gave a look. "Did WG hack into her brother's account or something?"

"Anyway... Kiff hated Jennifer, namely because she was always insulting everyone and hurting feelings. She kept calling Kiff an abomination, and making fun of everyone else, so that's why Kiff lost it the first time you insulted him."

Nessie pouted a bit. "All I did was ask if all cartoonbrids are as dense as he is,"

"Well... he thought you were calling him a retard. Jennifer calls WG that- and FF2 HATES that word. Growing up with both of them, I guess it just left an imprint on him- being around people who have suffered so much in life, yet still get ridiculed by people who hardly understand them... it weighs a ton on you. And Kiff is one to always look out for his friends and family- by insulting him or his friends, it just sets him off, all because he's sick of seeing his loved ones hurt."

"...that, and he gets his temper from his father," Edwin added, appearing in the room. "And his combat skills from his mother. And his violence-streak from his surrogate-mother. Mix it with the powers he inherited from Silver, and you've got an anti-bully weapon of mass destruction."

"Okay. Don't piss off Kiff. Got it." Nessie replied.

"You should have known that the moment he blasted lasers at you," Blackrose chuckled.

"Hey, I've seen worse. And can I help it if I'm cynical?"

"Perhaps she's related to you," Edwin joked to Lamone.

"If that were so, Wherever Girl would have killed me in a split second," Lamone scoffed.

*ZAP!*

A laser-blast from Kiff's fist shot at Lamone, the vampire having ducked. He looked back at the new hole in the wall, and back at his nephew, who was awake and seeming in shock. "Watch it, Kiff! You nearly killed him!" Edwin gasped.

"I'm sorry he didn't," Lamone commented. "Kiff, what's wrong?"

"I... I had a nightmare. There were two of me- only one of them was in black-and-white and wore a red shirt, and had red eyes... a-almost like Malone, your dark half." Kiff replied, shaking. "He said a piece of him survived, and is still alive."

"Not good." Edwin said. "I was afraid of this,"

"Oh, crap, what NOW?" Blackrose asked.

"Do you remember the 'Lex' incident? How he and Max battled, but both were defeated, and Max's heart ended up in FF2's, with a piece of Lex in it?"

Lamone's eyes widened. "Malone survived, is that what you're saying?"

"A piece of Malone was in your heart, when you gave it to Pugsy... there's a chance that you have a dark Nobody somewhere... or, your Nobody is possessed by your evil counterpart."

"Interesting theory," Riffraff said, suddenly in the doorway. "Please, go on."

How will this work out? No idea. Will I hook up Kiff with Nessie? Not a chance. Should Scoobycool9's version of 'Twilight' be made into a movie instead? ...It would be better than the original.
