Sorry for the delay in getting this up, but long week. Anyway, here is the next chapter, and we are getting closer to the end my friends!
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONITNUED SUPPORT! YOU GUYS MEAN SO MUCH!
Please remember to review at the end! :)
Jean screamed as the pain hit harder with each push. "Damn it to hell!" She screamed, watching Sophie smirk. "What's that damn smirk about?" She asked, biting back a scream.
Sophie shook her head. "You haven't lost your flair for words, Jeanie." She whispered, nodding to her friend.
Jean shook her head. "Well, months spent in prison can do that." She muttered, trying to find something to grab hold of.
Sophie shook her head. "You had that mouth before you went into prison." She stated, with a smirk.
Jean glared at her before smiling faintly. Footsteps came running down the hall, and she glared at visitors. "Oh, wonderful, more visitors! Come on, you're just in timeā¦" She grunted as she pushed. "For the show."
Klaus shook his head, and held Caroline close to him. After tonight, he didn't want her far from his side, even with her wound, which, given what happened, didn't reopen, thankfully. "Who is that?" He asked, motioning to the corpse on the ground.
Jean grunted, "My father."
Klaus nodded, and glanced at Sophie and sword not too far from her. "You killed him?" He asked, watching Sophie nod.
"I couldn't let him kill Jean and her baby." She replied, looking down at the child's head emerging.
Klaus nodded in understanding. "How is she?" He asked, shifting his eyes to Jean.
Jean groaned. " 'She' is right here, and giving birth!" She shouted at them.
Sophie shook head. "The baby is coming, and we can't move her." She stated, moving her hands between Jean's legs, towards the baby.
Klaus nodded, and knelt down beside Jean. Caroline leaned against the wall carefully, and smiled calmly at Jean.
"Breathe, Jean." Caroline whispered, watching Jean lift her face to her.
Jean nodded, and threw her head back. "Oh! Just wait until Galen returns! I'll kill him!" She shouted, sweat dripping down her face.
Klaus shook his head. "No, you won't, Jean." He stated, holding her right hand.
She scoffed. "The hell I won't!" She shouted, glaring at him. "I should kill you for sending him off!" She shouted, though her eyes held a hint of sympathy. "Oh, forget I said that." She whispered, releasing a moan.
Klaus smiled sadly. It was his fault that Vaughn wasn't here with Jean. "You're right. I shouldn't have sent him." He whispered, causing Jean to roll her eyes.
"God! Don't be so dramatic, Klaus!" She growled, glaring at him. "It wasn't your fault that that bastard took your son!" She growled in between her grunts.
Klaus smiled, but focused on Jean's hand nearly crushing his, and didn't say a word.
"Come on, Jean, push!" Sophie cried, glancing up at her friend.
Jean growled, and threw her head back as she let out a scream, which ricocheted off the stone walls.
Caroline moved carefully down the wall, and knelt down beside her husband. "Come on, Jean." She whispered, softly.
Jean nodded, but bit her bottom lip as a searing pain rippled through her, causing her to push.
Sophie smiled. "One more push, Jeanie, and your child will be here." She stated, tears forming in her eyes.
Jean pushed one more time, and felt a sense of relief escape her when the child left her body, and let out a small cry. She let out a laugh, and watched Sophie clean her newborn with her dress, before wrapping a small clothe around the babe.
"You have a daughter." Sophie whispered, handing the small bundle to a crying Jean.
Jean wrapped her arms around her new daughter, and let the tears fall. She moved her eyes up to Klaus, and smiled. "I have a daughter." She whispered, knowing he would understand.
Klaus smiled, and touched her shoulder. "Congratulations, Jean." He whispered, glancing down at the little girl.
Sophie smiled. "What is her name?" She asked, watching the motherly exchange of her friend.
Jean sniffed, and lifted her gaze to her friend. "Sophie Anne." She whispered, tears falling down her eyes.
Sophie smiled, and let the tears fall down her face. "I'm honored." She whispered, bowing her head.
Jean smiled, and reached forward with her right hand towards her. "No, I am." She whispered, taking Sophie's hand in hers.
Klaus glanced at Caroline, and noticed her eyes were filled with tears. He grasped her left hand with his right, and smiled when she turned her head to look at him with a smile on her face.
"Jean, let's get you and this little one in bed." Caroline replied, through her tears.
Jean nodded, and held her child securely in her arms as she stood up, with the help of Klaus and Sophie. They settled her in her bed, and watched as Jean rocked her newborn in her arms in amazement.
Sophie turned to Klaus, and smiled. "I'll stay with her until Vaughn comes back." She replied, glancing at the mother and child.
Klaus nodded, and turned to his wife, who was leaning weakly against the door. He walked over to her, and lifted her swiftly in his arms.
"Klaus, I can walk." Caroline protested, as he turned to look at Jean, who was shaking her head with a smile on her face.
"I'll check on you both tomorrow." He promised, with a nod.
Jean nodded, and smiled at Caroline, who was glaring at her husband. "Tomorrow." She returned.
Klaus walked out the room and started down the hall.
"Klaus, didn't you hear me?" Caroline asked in a demanding tone, moving her eyes around the hall.
Klaus smirked. "What did you say, love?" He asked, glancing at her, while he walked down towards the stone stairs at the end of the corridor.
She glared at him and slightly struggled in his arms. "You know damn well what I said." She scolded, fire flashing in her eyes.
He smiled, and shook his head. "I didn't hear a thing." He stated, moving his eyes to her.
Caroline scoffed. "You chose not to." She whispered, shaking her head.
Klaus shook his head. "No, I just ignored you." He whispered in her ear.
She turned her head around, and glared at him. "Niklaus Mikaelson, don't make me punish you." She stated, and he could see a teasing light in her eyes.
He smirked, and stopped in the hallway, in front of the stairs to kiss her passionately on the lips. She moaned and clung to him as their lips roamed over each other, until they were both breathless from the passion, but now was not the time and they both knew it.
"Let's get you to bed." He whispered, pecking her lips lightly. "I have a prisoner to interrogate." He added, firmly.
Caroline shook her head. "I want to be there, Klaus." She stated, just as firmly.
He glanced her, and searched her eyes. "Caroline, this is not going to be something you should see." He stated, watching her shake her head.
"I don't care, Klaus." She stated, with a dark tone. "He might have some information that could lead us to David, and I want to be there." She added her light fading from her eyes.
Klaus sighed, and gently placed her feet on the ground, before grabbing her shoulders with his hands. "Caroline, I am going to have to torture him, and that is not going to be a pleasant sight for you to see." He stated, sternly.
She shook her head. "I don't care. I'm going to be there whether you like it or not, Niklaus." She replied, eyes sparking.
He closed his eyes, and let out another sigh.
"Nik," She began, touching his face with her right hand. "Your dark side doesn't frighten me. In fact, it's moments like this that I am grateful you do have that side of you." She whispered, searching his opened eyes.
He saw the truth in her eyes, and moved his hands to her waist, minding her wounded side. "It will be dark, love." He whispered, carefully.
She smiled. "If that's what it takes to get our son back, then get as dark as you need to get, Klaus. I will be right by your side." She stated, darkly.
He smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips before hugging her loosely, carefully not wanting to hurt her. He didn't know if she completely understood how dark he could get, but he hoped she did, and he also hoped she would do what she said.
It was during those dark moments that Klaus needed someone to hold onto. During the Crusades, he held onto Elijah. During the beatings of Mikael, he held onto his mother and Elijah. During the battle with Tyler, he held onto Caroline. Now, he was holding onto her again, and he just hoped that he could pull back.
Because when it came to Mikael, he had to become very dark. Darker than he had ever been before, and he wasn't sure if Caroline would understand just how dark. He just hoped she would. He needed her now more than ever, and he just hoped she would stay by his side.
"Always, Niklaus." She whispered, as if she read his mind. "I will always be by your side."
He smiled sadly, and dipped hi head into her neck. He hoped.
He hoped.

Bonnie leaned against the wall of her bedroom, and let her eyes fill with tears. Mikael's words replayed in her mind. She knew she shouldn't let them get to her, but she had spent her life hiding what she was. Yes, she was a gypsy, and she was proud of her heritage, but there were those who didn't.
She supposed she was lucky to have found Caroline, who never looked down on her because of it. In fact, Caroline was proud of her friend.
So was Kol.
She smiled as she glanced down at her wedding ring on her finger, and sighed. Kol had overlooked her heritage, and accepted it as a part of her.
"I'm surprised you would marry a gypsy!"
The tears she had fought to keep out of her eyes, poured down her cheeks. She let a sob crack from her lips, and her head bowed.
The door opened, but she didn't look up to see who it was. She felt a hand on her shoulder, and it was then she looked up. She sighed when she saw Esther standing in front of her with a look of concern on her face.
"You heard." Bonnie whispered, nodding her head.
Esther nodded. "I did. Are you alright?" She whispered, softly.
Bonnie nodded, but the look on Esther's face caused her to shake her head. "It's silly, isn't it?" She whispered, lowering her eyes.
Esther sighed, and pulled her daughter-in-law's hands to lead her to the bed, where they both sat down. "It's not silly, Bonnie." She whispered, pushing a stray hair from Bonnie's face to behind her ear. "Mikael has that effect on people." She added, coldly.
Bonnie smiled, and nodded. "He called me a gypsy, and said with such malice." She replied, narrowing her eyes and shaking her head. "He sounded like he was scolding Kol for marrying me." She added, curiously.
Esther nodded. "Mikael hates gypsies." She answered, lowering her eyes. "I had to hide my heritage from him when we married, but he suspected." She replied, staring off into the distance. "Even my children do not know." She added, turning her gaze to Bonnie.
"You're a gypsy?" Bonnie asked, in slight shock.
Esther smiled. "My family is not as renowned as the Bennetts, but we were a secretive group." She explained, softly. "Mikael tried to teach our children that gypsies and other clans were evil and deserved to be ridiculed, but I always taught my children to respect all of them." She continued, with a smile. "They listened to me more than him, which for that I am grateful."
Bonnie smiled, and bowed her head. "Kol always told that he didn't care about who I was." She began, fiddling with her fingers on her lap. "He says that being a gypsy is a part of me, and it's a part of me he loves. He even wants Bellona to know her heritage." She replied with a small laugh.
Esther smiled. "Then I raised him right." She whispered, grasping Bonnie's hands with hers. "Being a gypsy is not a bad thing, Bonnie; it's what you are born to be. You were born to be a great woman, and you are." She stated. "You are a wonderful mother, friend, daughter, and wife." She concluded, smiling.
Bonnie smiled and nodded. "Are you going to see him?" She asked, watching Esther's face freeze into a dark gaze.
"Mikael has been dead to me for years." She stated, firmly. "I have my life to live, and it does not include the man who abused my son, and hates my daughter." She stated, darkly.
Bonnie nodded. "Kol said that Klaus was going to interrogate him. Mikael might know where David is." She replied, lowly.
Esther nodded, and clasped her hands on her lap. "Then I hope Mikael corporates for Niklaus' sake." She replied, absently.
Bonnie nodded in agreement, and turned her gaze to the far wall. She hoped so too. She certainly hoped so.

Elijah opened the door when a knock resounded softly on his bedroom door. Katherine was sitting in a rocking chair with their daughter in her lap, and he had been discussing the night's events with her.
They had both agreed that he should be there with Klaus when he interrogated Mikael, if only to make sure Klaus didn't do something drastic and foolish.
He sighed when he saw Sophie on the other side with a look of distress on her face.
"What are you doing here, Sophie?" He asked, formally.
Sophie sighed. "I need to speak with you." She stated, glancing over his shoulder at his wife, who was watching intently. "I was intending to speak to Klaus, but he went to see Mikael." She replied, bowing her head slightly.
"Is Jean alright?" He asked, urgently.
Sophie smiled, and nodded. "Yes, she's resting, as is her daughter." She whispered, softly.
He nodded. "I heard she had given birth." He replied with a soft tone.
Sophie nodded. "But that is not why I came." She replied, her eyes turning dark. "I need help." She added, firmly.
Elijah's brow furrowed at her words. "What kind of help?" He asked, watching her eyes become sad.
"I need you to help me talk to Camille." She replied, stiffly.
He shrugged his shoulders. "Why would I need to talk to her?" He asked, hearing his wife stand up and walk towards them. "I don't know her." He added, studying Sophie carefully.
Sophie nodded. "I know, but she's in league with Marcel." She stated, watching Elijah's eyes grow dark. "She's the one who told him about Caroline and David, and let the two men in the castle tonight." She concluded.
Elijah's face remained stoic. "Why should I talk to her?" He asked, firmly.
Sophie swallowed. "Because she knows where David is."

Vaughn sighed as he and Stefan stopped for a moment to rest their horses, he hopped down from his horse, and pulled out the paper he had found at the encampment from a few nights before.
"We've been over this entire country, and we still haven't found them." He stated, harshly.
Stefan shook his head. "Well, we've narrowed down the places they're not at least." He replied, adjusting the saddle strap on his horse.
Vaughn nodded. "Yeah, at least." He whispered, throwing his head back to look at the starry sky.
"Thinking about Jean." Stefan remarked, knowing that look on his friend's face all too well.
Vaughn nodded. "I should have stayed with her. She's was supposed to give birth soon, and I left her." He stated, harshly.
Stefan shook his head. "Galen, she understands. I'm sure, she does." He replied, turning to the man.
Vaughn nodded. "Yeah, she scolded me before I left. Told me, if I didn't come back alive, that she would hunt me in the afterlife for leaving her." He stated, with a small chuckle.
Stefan nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like Jean." He replied, taking out a small fruit to eat.
"What about Rebekah?" He asked, glancing at Stefan.
Stefan sighed, as he swallowed a piece. "She understood. She knows what would happen if we don't find David." He replied, taking another bite of his fruit.
Vaughn nodded. "We have to find him, Stefan." He whispered, lowering his head.
Stefan nodded. "We will." He replied, taking another bite of the fruit.
Vaughn nodded. His head jerked when he heard a twig snap in the distance. "Did you hear that?" He whispered, eyes searching the forest.
Stefan threw down his fruit, and reach for his horses reins. "Yeah, I did." He whispered, tying his horse's reins on the available tree. "Let's go." He whispered, waiting for Vaughn to copy his movements.
Vaughn nodded, as he slowly drew his sword out of the scabbard and walked further into the forest.
What they saw next caused them both to bite their tongues.
Standing next to a tree was a man and a woman, and they were not just standing, they were having sex, and it wasn't just a man and a woman.
It was Marcel and Camille.
What did you think? PLEASE NO HARSH COMMENTS!
Everything is winding up for the finale! Only five more chapters to go, or six, depending on how far I get. And if you are wondering how Camille got free, I will explain that in the next chapter.
Klaus and Caroline are closer to getting their son back, and the one who kills Marcel...You will be surprised! (Or maybe not!) :)
Until Next Time...
