The twins walked into Music Hall #3 their arms entwined and their hands clasped together. They looked around the room and saw more chairs than what they were used to. They walked over to Kyoya who appeared to be comparing the room's layout with what he had in his notebook. As the brothers approached he turned to them, "Hikaru, Kaoru, as expected your return to the Host Club has you heavily requested."

"Sorry, but we're only going to see our regulars today." Hikaru said.

"Part of an apology for us being gone for so long." Kaoru added.

Kyoya eyed them over, a chill went through the brothers and they grasped each other's hand all the tighter. "While that vital piece of information would have been useful days ago," the vice-president said hiding any emotion he may have felt, "I should not have to explain how much money these extra guests bring into the club's coffers, should I? As well as how much the club spent in advertising your return, which was supposed to be made back easily in a lucrative day for the club?"

"Nope, we understand." Hikaru said shaking his head, he wasn't willing to let money or Kyoya ruin their big return.

As usual Kaoru furthered his brother's thought, creating a united front. "We'll make up the difference. We just want our first day back to be…"

"Memorable." Hikaru finished. The twins then exchanged a knowing look.

Kyoya jotted down a something in his little black book before looking back at the twins, "Whatever you two have planned, please don't cause too much trouble. Your last event was not the easiest for the club's funds either."

"Come on Kyoya just admit it, you missed us." Hikaru replied.

Kyoya just stared at the eldest red haired twin.

"It's ok, we missed you too, cold emotionless stares and all." Hikaru replied, receiving a giggle from his brother.

That giggle abruptly ended when they heard from across the room, "My boys have finally come home!"

Before they had a chance to react further Tamaki had swept them both into a large hug. "Daddy was so scared that his little boys weren't going to come home before Daddy graduated. But you two came back. You two have made me the happiest father in the world!"

The twins exchanged an awkward look before patting their leader on the back. "There there boss."

Tamaki didn't release them as they had hoped, instead his grip tightened. "My boys…My sweet sweet boys…"

The twins exchanged another look, this one questioning if the blond was in fact crying. He was. Hikaru fought to repress a snicker while Kaoru looked around and said, "You're making a scene boss."

"Oh no, you're not embarrassed to be seen with your daddy are you?" Tamaki said, breaking the hug with a mortified look.

"Only when you are like this." Hikaru answered.

"Which is most of the time." Kaoru added.

Tamaki shrunk back, darkness surrounding him. "My boys are embarrassed of me... Are you embarrassed of Mommy too?"

"Please do not drag me into this." Kyoya replied without looking up from his notebook.

Mushrooms began sprouting up around Tamaki.

"We're not saying that we don't love you, boss, but Quincy on the other hand…" The twins said together.

Tamaki was squatting poking at a mushroom; he then turned his head towards the younger blond, showing him his large watery eyes.

"You know you're the best Tamaki-senpai. Doesn't the mug I got you for Christmas say so?" Quincy said with a smirk, confident that he had derailed the twins' game.

Tamaki began to stand up. "You're right Quincy, mugs don't lie. I am the world's greatest daddy!"

"Let's see if Habiki agrees with that statement." The twins quipped, returning Quincy's smirk.

Tamaki now turned to Habiki, with large watery puppy eyes and a quivering lip, and if one looked hard enough perhaps even a little tail curled around him.

Quincy's eye twitched and let out a silent curse. As Habiki opened his mouth to answer Tamaki, Quincy's hand covered it. Since Habiki's words were muffled by his hand, Quincy 'translated' for him, "Yep, he agrees. World's greatest dad."

Tamaki now stood with his head held high. He could imagine fireworks going off around him as a crowd of admirers swarmed him. As more and more people gathered around him their demands for parenting advice grew louder and louder, advice that he was all too happy to give.

The twins saw the blonde's distant look and heard him blabber about "giving your child as many carrots as they ask for because they improve eye sight and are healthier than the stick" as well as "Why yes, I'll sign your baby's head." It was at that moment that they knew that it was time to strike again. However, the planning stage was as far as they got before they both received a slight smack upside the head. "Ow!" They said rubbing each other's head, "What was that for?"

Haruhi stood between the twins and gave them a stern look, "You two have only been back for five minutes and already you've driven Tamaki into a depression. Now help me open a couple windows to let the room air out. The last thing we need is for the guests complaining that it reeks of mushrooms in here." The twins obliged and returned to what once was their typical routine to prep for the Host Club.

A moment before the guests were to arrive for the day Hikaru walked over to his former trainee. "Hibiki will you do something for me?"

The younger host nodded eagerly, "of course."

Hikaru looked around the Music room to see if anyone was watching. Tamaki was busy with Quincy preparing the coffee and sweets, Kaoru and Haruhi were busy with the last minute chair rearrangement, and Kyoya was busy talking on his cellphone while covering his mouth with his notebook. Hikaru slowly began to take something out of his jacket, keeping his eyes on the vice-president. Too many times he had thought the older Host was not paying attention just to have the action held against him at a later date. Finding Kyoya's current state of being less aware acceptable, Hikaru finished pulling the small bag out of his jacket and quickly thrust into Hibiki's open hands.

Hibiki looked down at what the eldest of the twins gave him. "Why did you give me this?"

"If I told you, you'd go blabbing it to everyone and then the surprise would be gone." Hikaru answered.

"Then how will I know when to use it?" Hibiki questioned.

"You'll know." Hikaru replied with a grin.

Hibiki felt a shiver go down his spine at the combination of the words and the Hitachiin grin.

The Host Club began with the announcement that the Hitachiin twins were only visiting their old regulars that day, which resulted in many disappointed girls either leaving or visiting other hosts in hopes that they could still see and over hear anything that went on. However, among the gloom and jealously, three loyal and dedicated girls were excited and giddy as they sat down by the twins. After a brief snack they began to visit, but the girls quickly noticed that the conversation was not like the ones of old, as it featured only one twin while the other sat quietly and looked mildly annoyed, "Is everything alright Kaoru?" One of the girls asked.

Hikaru turned his attention from the girls to his brother, "Is something wrong Kaoru?"

Kaoru bit his lip and shook his head.

"Are you still upset with me?" Hikaru asked concerned.

"…no…" Koaru responded quietly.

"Then what is the matter?" Hikaru asked.

"Its…well…"Kaoru stammered. "Never mind. It's nothing."

Hikaru turned to his brother and placed a hand on his brother's knee, "I'm your brother Kaoru, you can tell me what it is."

Kaoru sighed, there was no resisting his brother, "I need a cigarette."

The girls gasped and groaned with disappointment. They had been promised by Tamaki that their favorite twins had quit smoking.

"Now, now ladies. You'll actually be glad to know that we haven't had one in over a week." Hikaru said.

"Wow." "Congrats!" "I'm so proud of you two." The girls responded.

A look of worry came over Hikaru's face, "The only problem is that during the night Kaoru tosses and turns, and can't keep much sleep at night" The girls looked at the other twin and began to notice the bags under his eyes. Hikaru then looked at his brother and grinned and ran a finger down his brother's jaw, "but there are some benefits of him staying up all night. Isn't there Kaoru?"

Kaoru blushed, "Hikaru…you're making it worse."

"I have an idea." Hikaru said. He grabbed his brother's hand and entwined their fingers. "Just squeeze my hand every time you have an urge for a cigarette and you keep squeezing until it's gone."

Kaoru nodded and began squeezing his brother's hand.

The conversation between the twins and the girls began again, this time with Kaoru added into the growing ever livelier conversation, but the fact that the brothers were now holding each other's hand was not lost on the girls. They would each take peeks at the sight and then large smiles would appear on their faces.

While Hikaru's plan appeared to be working, it only lasted a few minutes before Kaoru growled and let go of his brother's hand. "Hikaru, it's not working."

"Oh no." "Is there something we could do?" "Stay strong Kaoru."

"You're not going to start smoking again Kaoru. I'm going to help you." Hikaru said.

"How?" Kaoru asked.

"You created an oral fixation over the past few months. We just need to satisfy that urge." Hikaru answered.

"I've got a hard candy." "I may have a pen." "I have some gum."

"Or…" Hikaru placed a hand on Kaoru's chin and tilted it towards him, "we can satisfy it like I do at home." Hikaru said as his head moved closer to his brothers.

The girls began to squeal with glee as they watched the twin brothers' lips begin to get closer. Although they knew the kiss was not going to happen, as usual, their imaginations were already taking over, and with the added knowledge that it was done behind closed doors, possibly even without clothes on made their imaginations run wild. That is when it happened.

Hikaru's lips pressed against Kaoru's. Their lips moved over each other. Kaoru could hear a high pitch noise but it seemed distant, everything seemed distant except the feeling of his brother's lips against his. All he could focus on was satisfying his urge that burned deep within him. He pressed his lips harder against his brother's, and began opening his mouth more. But as he tried to move to the next step he felt his brother pull away. The kiss broke. It was then that Kaoru noticed that the high pitched noise was gone; in fact there was no noise at all. He looked away from his brother's eyes and saw it. Their guests had fainted into their chairs. The twins looked beyond their own chairs and noticed everyone in the room was watching them. All those eyes, focused on them. Hikaru began to chuckle. Kaoru began to giggle. Kaoru looped his arms around his brother's neck and rested his head against his and they began to laugh a loud.

Late that night Hikaru lay on his back as he twirled his brother's hair around his finger as he thought over the day's events. After their kiss at the Host Club a trio of school nurses came into the hall to treat the fainted guests, much to the twins' surprise. While Hikaru was briefly upset that once again the Shadow King had foreseen their plan, this time the feeling did not linger as he found himself glad that Kyoya was prepared to see to the wellbeing of the guests. It was something that was somehow lost in the excitement of planning. Yet, to Hikaru's dismay, he found that Kyoya's rescue came at a price. The picture that Hibiki took of the event was no longer for only the twins' eyes; it was no longer going to be another moment to be stored in their scrapbook. This was because Kyoya had commandeered the camera and copied the picture. The twins did not know for certain what would come of it, but they figured it had to do with Kyoya later inquiring about how much traffic the Host Club's auction site could handle.

But for Hikaru, none of that mattered at the moment. All that mattered was that it felt nice having his brother so close, feeling his brother's head lying on his bare chest. How he could feel the warmth from his brother's outstretched arm as it ran down his body. Perhaps that was one good thing that had come from their fiasco of a relationship; they were no longer taking their time together for granted because they knew what 'life' was like apart. Hikaru knew he didn't want to leave his brother again, but he knew that just beyond their bedroom reality loomed. A reality that could hold pain and suffering. A world that would shun them and break them if it could. Before his thoughts could delve any deeper, they were disrupted by his brother's voice, "Hey Hikaru…"

Kaoru who was lying off kilter from his brother rolled his head back but could only see the top of his brother's hair. Hikaru could not help but smile at the sight before him. "Hmm?"

"What do you think is going to happen?" Kaoru asked calmly.

The smile faded from his face, as he realized that his brother had been thinking just as he had, but knowing his brother as well as he did, he knew it was on a much larger scale. "Kaoru, I've told you not to worry about the future haven't I?"

Kaoru returned his head back to normal and looked up at the ceiling, "I know. But it's just that another school year is almost over. Tamaki and Kyoya will be moving on, and the Host Club will be without its founders for the first time. Then if Quincy goes back to America it would just leave Hibiki, Haruhi and us. That is if Haruhi doesn't leave the club too so she can focus on getting into the college she wants. That also means we should be focusing too. The Host Club could end." Kaoru said gloomily.

"You worry too much. Just relax, why ruin today by worrying about tomorrow?" Hikaru said trying to reassure his brother as well as to curb what he knew was also on his brother's mind as it was on his also.

Hikaru's attempt was in vain as Kaoru asked next, "Then what about us? Do you think we can really make this last?"

The elder twin was silent for a moment, was he supposed to tell him the truth? Was he supposed to tell his brother that he worried over it everyday, tell his lover that he was scared of losing him again, and tell his soul-mate that he had nightmares that the world was filled with ridicule and hate? Instead of saying any of those he chose to defer the question, "What do you think?"

Kaoru shifted positions so he could cuddle up to his brother. He wrapped his legs around his brother's and laid his arm against his lower abdomen, and nestled his head once more on his chest. Their bodies were now entwined, it was hard to tell where Hikaru ended and Kaoru began. Perhaps there was not even difference. "I don't think we have a choice. I'm lost without you Hikaru."

"I'm lost without you too." Hikaru smiled, "The world isn't as fun without you beside me. I love you Kaoru."

"I love you too Hikaru. And I'll always be there for you." Kaoru said placing a small kiss on his lover's chest.

Hikaru sighed with joy, and continued to twirl his finger through his brother's hair until they were both fast asleep.

THE END

Author's Note: There we are. The End. But don't fret, it really isn't the END. There will be an epilogue/"special" chapter next week. Bet none of you can guess what is so special about it. ;) Actually I hope you can because I'm unsure how I should treat it. I can put them up as separate chapters posted at the same time, so those that don't want to/aren't allowed to read it will have ample opportunity to avoid it. If that is the case, I'll put a warning at the end of the epilogue and at the beginning of the "special" chapter. Or the other idea is that I can post them in the same chapter with a warning at the beginning and then have a line separating the two parts. Which would you readers prefer, as it makes no difference to me?

Also, it dawned on me that I do not explicitly say anywhere that Tamaki knows about the twins' relationship, or at least I don't think I do. Which now brings me to the question, do you think that the King knows what his little devils are up to, or do you think once again he would be the last one of the Host Club to figure something out?

Reviews: Daringly Delightful: Thank you for your kind words. I agree with you as I often view Kaoru as the "better" twin as well, but they both have their moments. I'm glad you have enjoyed reading this story, and I hope to have another story featuring the twins completed within a few months.

PictureMeBroken: Well, better late than never. I'm just glad that you took the time to read it as well as review it. I hope the ending didn't disappoint you. You know what else is perfection? Gum. "Gum would be perfection." Sorry, about that, I couldn't resist a FRIENDS quote.

EternalFalsity: Hmmm, that is interesting about writing style. I'd like say that most of the stories are similar to this one (but different genres), but as I couldn't even tell you what my writing style is I therefore can't compare it with any real meaning. If you're asking if chapters will still end with people in bed, I believe I can safely say without spoiling anything that currently five+ chapters between three stories end with people in bed/asleep.

Ratty4949: I suppose I can lend you a pair of nail scissors to trim your hair with, since you've been so good. Yet, I can't help but think this, like everything else, will just lead you to want more. Oh well, I hope I have whatever it is you want next. I was really wondering how the writing was going. To comment on the lack of info, I was afraid of putting too much of Hibiki and Quincy in this story because I didn't want to steal any of the story away from the Twins. But I must have put just enough in for people to connect with and their imaginations to take over. They're OC as far as I know. You can either build them as you wish (it is a fanfic after all), I can send you what notes I have, or you can just sit around and hope I get bit by an inspiration bug and write a short Hibiki/Quincy story. It is possible for any and all to happen. Also, why would anyone kid about a Hikaru/Honey/Kaoru story? That's some serious business. Honey sandwich anyone?

LadyKayla: I know you may not be seeing this for a while but that is what is great about this place(internet) is that this story will stick around(The historian in me cheers while the politician groans). I hope I have more stories posted for you to come back to. Thank you for reading.

Isfantasyandlovereal: Thank you so much for such wonderful compliments. Sorry to keep you up so late, but you must have enjoyed yourself otherwise you wouldn't have bothered. I wish I could keep this going for you and the others but I'm afraid I don't have any real great idea to do so with, and I'd hate for it to be a story that sticks around longer than it should.

Mizuki: I think I'll just keep at the Wednesday 10ish AM PST update. It works best for my schedule this term, so who knows when things will be posted come April.
