Chapter 24:I just knew

"Mornin'" Tiffany smirked while walking into the living room. Carol looked over to Daryl who was giving Tiffany evil dares.

"Leave it" Carol whispered to Daryl and then looked back over to Tiffany sitting on the table.

"I have some breakfast here" Carol got up giving Tiffany a plate and then getting a nod in return. Carol smiled at how much Tiffany looked like Daryl today. Carol walked back over to Daryl and carried on eating her breakfast.

"How was last night?" Tiffany mumbled the smirk still on her face.

"Shut up!" Daryl growled and felt Carol's arm on his lower back, calming him down instantly.

"What?!" Tiffany threw her hands into the air while some food fell off her plate. "Not like it's new to any of us" She continued.

"What?" Daryl snapped his head up at what she said. Carol giggled beside him, looking away. Tiffany looked around the room realising she just admitted she's not a virgin.

"Ya only fuckin' sixteen" He stood up "Ya shouldn't have done any of that shit!" He continued. Daryl didn't know why he was so furious at the fact Tiffany has had sex.

"Daryl, she is sixteen" Carol said calmly and then stood up.

"Yeah, yeah!"" Tiffany said pointing to Carol. "I'm sixteen. It's normal. Anyway it's the end of the world, why not?" Tiffany continued.

"Ya shouldn't have had..." Daryl trailed off realising it was done and there was nothing to change it. "Anyway who was the guy? If he was here, I would not have had any arrows left" He asked angry, feeling like he was going to have to kill this guy, even if he was already dead.

"It was my boyfriend! We where together for years. What did ya expect?" Tiffany chuckled. Daryl was pacing now but was stopped by Carol.

He rolled his eyes and all three of them went out to the porch. Daryl sat in a chair away from Carol and Tiffany sitting on the porch steps but he could still hear and see them.

"Are ya goin' to bring a new Dixon into this world?" Tiffany asked out the blue. She always wondered if Daryl and Carol where going to have a baby. Tiffany wanted another Dixon into this world; they would tech it to be strong and survive.

"I can't have anymore" Carol sadly whispered. After Sophia the doctor told her she could no longer have babies but she was fine with it then. She was happy she had Sophia and promised she would never let anything happen to her. But that promise was broken quickly. Suddenly thought, Carol had been hit by the fact she cannot have anymore.

"Would ya like too?" Tiffany looked sideways to Carol. She knew she was pushing the conversation to its limits.

"No. A child shouldn't be raised into this world" Daryl said from the chair. Tiffany looked behind to him and gave him a sad smile.

"I wasn't askin' ya, ya plank" Tiffany said and then looked back over to Carol. Carol felt like she was stabbed in the heart with Daryl's words but she shook her head anyway.

"Would ya?" Tiffany asked again. She wanted to know from Carol.

"Of course" Carol responded and looked into the horizon. She imagined a small little naughty Dixon who was much like Daryl, Merle and Tiffany then herself.

"I was pregnant" Tiffany whispered, looking down to the floor. This made Carol turn her head to the young girl in surprise. She wanted to ask but she knew Tiffany was like Daryl, she would run into the woods before a bullet left a gun.

"It was a couple of days after walkers ruled this world. It wasn't planned, but looking at the pregnancy test felt so real" She admitted slowly. "My boyfriend wasn't happy about it...It then happened so fast" Tiffany removed a tear and looked at Carol's teary eyes. Carol brain clicked. Tiffany either lost the baby, much like Sophia or she didn't even make it to labour.

"What happened?" Carol swallowed her tears.

"I obviously lost it" Tiffany sniffled. "There was blood everywhere. My boyfriend was panicking not knowing what it was... I knew... I just knew" Tiffany finished and put her hands to her head. Carol looked over to Daryl breathing hard and then back to Tiffany. Carol started to move her hand to Tiffany's shoulder but withdrew it when Tiffany looked up at Carol.

"Sometimes raisin' a baby into this world makes everythin' easier. If ya had another Dixon, it would have my beautiful genes" Tiffany smirked and got a small chuckle from Carol.

"Ya would tech it to be strong, to hunt and aim. It would survive" Tiffany smiled while silence fell upon them.

Suddenly a scream brought them to there feet. Daryl reloaded his crossbow and gave Carol a knife. Tiffany searched the horizon and smiled when she seen Beth under a walker.

"There" Tiffany pointed to Beth. Before Carol and Daryl could react Tiffany was already running in that direction fast. They followed her hot tracks but Daryl didn't know why but this felt so much like Dale death. Tiffany pulled her hair into a high ponytail while running; the hair flowed from the friction in the speed. She could feel Daryl and Carol yards away from her, trying to catch up. Tiffany pulled her knife out her waistband and pushed her body into the walker. Once the walker was away from Beth she stood in-between it's body and pushed the knife in-between it's eyes. Tiffany looked up to Daryl and Carol checking if the Beth had been bit, when she found out Beth was perfectly fine; Tiffany started to kick the walker's head repeatedly from the anger of losing her baby. Daryl, Carol and Beth watched as Tiffany fired her anger out on the walker, they let her.

Once Tiffany realised they where watching her, she started to walk back to them.

"Have ya attracted other walkers with ya, huh?" Tiffany spat by Beth's shoes. "A walker is more use then ya are" Tiffany walked off mumbling to herself.

"I'm not sure" Tiffany began. They where huddled around a table that held a map. Daryl, Carol and Beth insisted all of them went out on a run to strip clean the hospital a few miles away. Tiffany didn't understand why, nobody was hurt and the hospital was bound to be a red zone; they where basically putting there lives in danger and for what? Nothing. Tiffany had a bad gut feeling about this run and the last time she didn't follow her gut feeling she ended up surrounded alone by walkers. She shivered at the memory and concentrated at the task at hand.

"Okay" Daryl continued and pointed around the map. "We will all go in around the back, and make ourselves strip it clean until we get to the front" Daryl ordered.

"What if there is a herd, how are we goin' to get back to the car from the front if it is parked at the back of the hospital?" Tiffany defended. She was not happy about this plan, everything they where going to do was the opposite of what Tiffany would do.

"We take two cars. Park one at the front and one at the back" Daryl replied. Tiffany nodded her head once and pulled her bottom lip out a bit. That could work; they could park one outside the front and drive them all to the back with the other. It was still risky in Tiffany's books though.

"It will be smooth and quick, tomorrow morning we will leave early" Daryl looked up at Beth and Carol's agreement and then Tiffany who was pouting. "I have a good feeling about this" Daryl reassured her.

"Yeah, well I don't. I don't see much point" Tiffany back chatted and then looked around. "Nobody's hurt! We can just go to a local pharmacy or some shit like that"

"Nobody's hurt now, but if someone does we need to be ready with the medical supplies" Carol interfered calmly.

Beth chuckled and mumbled "She needs more then Medical supplies"

Tiffany moved her eyes to Beth quickly without moving her head. "Look at that, someone older then me tryin' on a bitch fest"

"Stop! We are going tomorrow" Daryl growled and started to pack up the map.

"Well If I or one of ya gets killed don't say I said so" Tiffany walked to the doorframe and leaned against it. "Oh and... why don't ya just enter by the roof" Tiffany offered and walked away from there sight.

The others looked at where she was standing and considered her idea; it wasn't so bad.
