They eventually got to the clearing wher Ariel had made her camp. She threw down her bow and sat on a log that was close to a fire pit.

"Make yourselves at home." she said

"We aren't resting now." Regina sneered "We have to find my son!"

"Do you want to go out there in Neverland forest at night?" Ariel asked tiredly rubbing the corner of her eye with her dirty and bruised knuckle. "YOu will be killed very quickly. No, best to wait until morning."

"We can't wait that long! They could capture him and do God knows what with him by morning!" Emma said horrified by the girl's passive attitude.

"Killian, explain it to them please. I am far too tired right now." she said getting up and crossing over to a small hut like uilding camoflauged with leaves and branches.

"She's right," Killian said watching as she rumaged around in the shelter looking for something or another. "Neverland is dangerous enough as it is. Neverland at night is even worse. Not even the lost boys would go into the forest at night if they could help it. It's best if we leave it till the morning. Henry is a smart kid so he is probably thinking the same and staying put in one place."

"Well Jane's not back yet so maybe she found him and is with him." Ariel said coming back out of the shelter with a large amount of firewood in her arms. SHe dropped it in the pit and waved a hand, large flames errupting out of her palm.

"Who's Jane?" Hook asked crooking an eyebrow

"A friend of mine," Ariel shrugged "she was brought here by the shadow. Disguised herself as a boy to save her brother Daniel. Lost boys were trying to kill her but I managed to save her. GOt this in the process," she said lifting up her shirt to show them a long ragged scar running down her abdomen. Hook bit his lip and winced his eyes trailing up her skin " She's been with me ever since and bloody useful she is. Best damn tracker I have ever met. The natives that live on the other side of the island call her Tiger Lilly."

"You think that this Jane could have found Henry?" Snow asked crossing her arms over her chest against the cold.

"She nearly had him, but by the time we were able to ditch the lost boys he was gone. If she's not back before noon tomorrow it means that she found him and is with him."

They all nodded and continued to look on at the girl who was now laying down in the dirt, wiggling around to make a sort of groove to cradle her body. "Well you guys better get some rest. We have a long day ahead of us if we want to find Henry before Pan does." she yawned patting the dirt above her head inviting them over.

They all looked hesitantly unsure of how to approach the girl. Hook laughed at them and took off his coat. he walked over to where Ariel was lying, now fast asleep, and put it over her shoudlers. He looked at her for a few minutes before placing himself down on the ground just a couple of feet away from her.

"WEll come on you lot," he laughed "She isn't going to bite I promise."

They all felt slightly less awkward now that they saw Hook being so comfortable around the girl and layed down in soon drifting off to a troubled sleep. ********************************************

Ariel awoke to the sounds of men shouting and some screams coming from the deck. She stood up shakily trying not to tip over as the ship gave a violent shudder nearly tossing her aside. She looked around the room looking for something to cover herself up with and saw the pirate captains coat hanging from a wooden peg. She grabbed it and quickly wrapped it around herself. It's warm, black material tented over her body and reached down past her knees. she skimmed against the wall and made her way hesitantly to the deck.

Rain was pounding the wooden deck making it slick. She kicked off the slipperes she had been waring and walked barefoot through the rain. The crew were running about shouting orders as the sails whipped in the wind free of their bindings. She sighed and tightened the waist belt before venturing out into the rain. her hair plastered against her head and her eyes were nearly blinded by the rain that cascaded down her face.

She ran up the steps to where the Captain struggled to keep the steering straight. She rushed over to help the crew men who were trying their best to grasp a sail rope as it whipped in the wind.

"What are you doing here!" the captain shouted against the wind "GO back inside, we've got this handled."

She gave him a look that he clearly read as 'You're kidding me right?'

he looked at her in amazment as she rushed to help his crew and he nearly screamed as she jumped off the top deck to grab onto a rope before slamming back down on the deck landing on her feet, with minimal slipping. She busily continued her work among the crew and proved quite useful and knowledgable.

They had managed to get all the sails in control in under half an hour with her help. She was agile and quick as lightning. They were up half the night combating the weather, when finally by day break the storm had settled down. Her wet hair glistened like rubies in the dim morning light. Killian let his first mate take the wheel and he appraoched her. He drunk in the way her silk nightdress clung against her legs, now ruined by the rain, the top half being spared by the big black coat set on her thin frame. Her hair hung in knotted ropes around her face and her face was tinged pink with the cold. She looked at him as he approached and she worse a cocky smirk on her face.

"I have to admit," he laughed "You did a pretty good job out there. Where on earth did you learn to do that?"

She shrugged and tossed her head in the direction of the water. She patted the railing of the ship and made a sinking motion with her hands.

"Sunken ships aye?' he said knowing exactly what she was thinking for some reason. "Brilliant."

She smiled and looked back out at the water. He couldn't help but stare at her. She looked almost etheral in the rising sun. Delicate too when he compared her stature to that of his own. His eyes traveled down to her legs and he chuckled. She shot him and glance and raised an eyebrow questioning him.

"You know I was thinking," he said "that you look strikingly beautiful in that coat."
