Killian led Ariel up the ramp and onto the deck of the ship she winced with each step she took and Killian couldn't help but feel a little bad. He had kept her dancing all night, though she hadn't minded at the time, with hardly a moment to sit and catch her breath. The crew had lumbered sleepily behind them watching the two with hazy eyes as they came to a stop in front of the Captain's door. They watched as Killian eyed them all and opened the door allowing Ariel to walk through first. The crew laughed and continued down below to their bunks.
"Do you think he'll tell her?" one of them asked stifling a yawn
"Tell her what matey?" Smee asked nervously his heart thumping wildly in his chest. Surely he didn't mean to suggest...oh no if that was the case he had to be stopped!
"That he loves her..." the pirate said with a dreamy voice "hell...I would say that we are way past just loving her. Seems like true love to me."
"He's a lucky man the capitain is!" another chimed in "Ariel is a beauty and a damn fine woman to boot! Why I would give all me limbs for someone like her. He better not let that one get away."
They all laughed and turned out the lamps that were shining leaving only Smee standing with his fists shaking. He had to stop the Captain, before it was too late!
Ariel giggled silently as Killian flopped down on the bed dramatically groaning as his head came to rest besides her legs. He smiled and opened one eye enjoying her smile. They're laughter died down and he looked up at her sighing contentedly. His heart fluttered as her blue eyes wondered over his face. His palm began to sweat slightly. She shimmied down the bed so her face was level with his and she pushed his hair out of his eyes gently. It was pointless to guess who leaned in first. For neither of them knew nor did they care. All that mattered was when their lips finally sealed themselves together. Perfect...that was all they could descirbe it as. For it was perfect in every aspect of the word. The way their lips fit together, the way the electric feeling travled through their bodies, and the total bliss they felt when rapped up within one another. They both groaned in disappointment when they pulled away to allow oxegen to fill their lungs again.
Ariel looked a him for a whole minute pain and sorrow taking over her features.
"What's wrong love?" Killian asked pushing her hair back with the side of his hook. She shivered at his touch but threw his arm away and got up unsteadily on her sore feet. She backed away keeping her eyes on him and fumbled in the dark for the door. She hurridly threw it open stepping out onto the deck.
"Oh goodness," she said under her breath "This is a disaster!"
She peered out at the waves before clasping a hand around her throat...
"I spoke." she said and her eyes locked back on the door she had just fled. She was pleased to see that Killian had not followed her out. "Oh no, I've fallen in love with him."
Ariel led them silently through the woods, her head downcast and her eyes wandering. Emma tried to engage her in conversation but she somehow always managed to sidestep her. She walked besides Mary Margeret and tried to come up with a plan to make the girl talk.
"What are you thinking?" Mary Margret asked pulling a thin hand on her arm stopping her in her tracks so that they were distanced a little from the rest of the group. "You have been staring at Ariel for the past twelve minutes. And then when you aren't looking at her you are glaring at Hook."
"There's something going on between those two and whatever it is makes me question weither or not she is really going to help us."
"What do you mean." she said "Do you think she would really pretend to hep us find Henry just to get back at Hook?"
"I...I don't know I just get the feeling that something is going to go wrong."
"Like what?" she asked
"Like..." but before she could answer she was pulled backwards into the arms of someone else with a blade put to her throat. One by one the gang met the same fate. Ariel drew her dagger and made a move towards a rustling in the bushed only to be pulled back by Hook who drew his own sword and held her protectivly with his hooked arm. "that."
"Pan!" Ariel shouted "show your cowardly face!"
A boy about seventeen stepped out of the shadows dragging a long rope behind him with a twisted little grin on his face. He tugged on the rope and a person came stumbling out of the woods behind him their face covered by a burlap sack.
"Oh Ariel so good to see you again. And I see you brought an old friend! Nice to see you again Killian! Where habe you been? I haven't seen you since you abandoned the pretty little mermaid and sailed off in the moonlight."
Ariel looked down at her feet before glaring back up at Pan once again her knuckles white clenched around her dagger. "What do you want Pan!" she growled.
"Found this hunting about in the woods. Thought maybe you would like her returned to you!" he said sweeping off the hood to reveal a girl of fifteen spitting and struggling. Her light brown hair falling into her electric blue eyes.
"Jane!" Ariel shouted making a movie towards her. Pan yanked Jane back closer to him and shook his head .
"Oh no you don't! You see, you've been snooping around. Looking for something that I've claimed as mine. I don't like competition."
"If you mean the boy ..." Ariel growled
"Of course I mean the boy dear!" he laughed "But I'll make you a deal. You give me the boy and I will give you back your tracker."
Emma lunged forward and shouted something seeing Ariel's thoughtful expression, her eyes sweeping over the girl trying desperatly to get away from the boy.
"Don't do it m'lady!" Jane shouted "I can deal with this fool any day! Don't worry about me. Keep the boy safe!"
Pan clamped a hand over Janes mouth and chuckled a little nervously. "Tell you what, I'll give you a day to mull things over. But remember I always win in the end. Boys let's go!"
The boys released the group and they dissappeared in a flash. Pan chuckled one last time and waved. "See you later then, my pretty little mermaid."
