Hey sorry for the long time of not posting a chapter. I made this chapter long enough to make up for that. I finally got an iPod so i will been writing my story on that at school. SO much easier.

There are the moment in life where one will wonder why in god name did they follow what that person did. Sapphire usually ignore those moment but now that she falling and it seem that she falling faster than expected she can't help but think that maybe, just maybe this wasn't a great idea.

She didn't have time to brace for impact as they draw closer to the ground, all she could do is hold on to Yellow tighter and close her eyes shut. Suddenly she felt branches and leaf surround her. It didn't feel like it she was crashing into them more like she was grazing them. Before she had time to process what was going on she landed right into a slide. She open her eyes and saw complete darkness. She was surprise that Yellow was sleeping through this, since they were going in a swirling slide Yellow's head got hit a couple of time on the wall. Sapphire was one moment going down this incredibly fast slide, into a comfortable mattress in this semi bright musky spacious room that contain mahogany 16 bookshelves that were each facing away from the slide and mattress. The book look like it they were protected by a glass case on all the shelves.

"Uhhhh, where are we?" Sapphire drop Yellow on the mattress and got up to look at the book shelve. Toro had use most of her energy in the fight, she was resting in the red marble that Yellow had made into a necklace. She scan around the room and saw small wide pentagon glass window that were in the shade of aqua that had the tropical sunlight hit through the window glass, lighting this unknown room. Sapphire glance at the book again and notice there was no glass case over it as she had presume. Instead it was as if the books are glowing. She reach to grab one of the book when someone grab her wrist.

"Didn't your mother told you not to touch thing that aren't yours?" Blue stated with a small smirk but she let out a sigh of reliefs. "These shelves have an ancients spiritus' spell that only let the king, queen, and the heir to the kingdom to get access to these books. If anyone outside them touch these book a paralyzing spell will inflict you and the king, queen and the heir will get a warning of the intruder. So since we are trying to hide from my dad for a while and I don't want to carry two pass out people and one paralyze I suggest you don't consider touching them."

Blue let go of Sapphire wrist and lean against the bookshelves. She sigh as she wonder how was she going to get to room when they are near the bottom castle wall facing the ocean and her room was about 6 floor above.

"Where are we?" Sapphire climb up the wall and gasp when she look through the window. Weren't we by the courtyard by the entrance? So why do I see the ocean?

"We are in a secret base, it had been here since the time the of the first ruler. In case there was an attack or invasion then the royal family will hide in here. After a while the first queen thought this will be the best place to put out most treasure knowledge. The bush that we pass through repel bad intention and is resistant to any element. The plants were a gift from the first Queen of Tamashii.

Silver sat on the mattress looking nonchalant even though he got a nasty cut on his cheek. Sapphire felt awkward on his presence, she never handle silence well. "Why did you lie to us?" Silver ask with cold sharp eyes.

"Huh, lied about what?" Sapphire was baffle, she didn't know what this boy was applying. She was also getting agitated about being call a liar. She was a lot of thing, hot temper, competitive, impatient, and even a glutton but she was no liar.

"You said she was a normal person but yet she was able to use spirit elementalist powers or was that something "normal" can do in where ever she came from?" Blue was the one who state this with suspicious eyes. She had never seen a spirit elementalist in action, but acceding the early queen diary (she had always been interested in the first queen) she depict that spirit elementalist power was more like light. What ever Yellow was doing, whether it normal or not, she was using a lightish power.

"Well, Yellow different from most people!" Truthfully she was shock when she saw Yellow glowing and stuff. She didn't know what Yellow was doing and she never saw her did it before. All she knew that Yellow can do was heal, talk to animals, and was telekinesis.

"Why is that you don't seem so sure about that?" Sapphire froze when she saw Silver a couple of feet away from her. She didn't even notice him getting up from the mattress.

" I need to know who I'm helping, so tell me the truth! Who is Yellow and what is she?" Blue couldn't help bit feel that there was more to the story. Yellow remind me of something but what?!

"Uh I... I.. Um" Sapphire try to explain but she didn't know what going on. How much did she know about Yellow background. Was she a relative of ma or pa, was she adopted, she couldn't be their kids since she had different hair than ma and pa but she has eyes similar to pa. There is no one in Japan that have the power that Yellow have... is there?

"I have no clue on what a spirit elementalist is but I do know I have spiritual power that is rare in my world. There was a priestess in my town that notice my abilities and train me to control my power. She then took me in as a Miko in training. She had taught me to purify an area. I use the pure energy from the land and purify the castle since I felt a negative energy that was weaker than a demon but stronger than a ghost...it felt human though..."

Everyone turn to Yellow who was still lying on the mattress with a daze look and spoke in a soft sleepy tone. She tried to sit up bit it look like she was struggling to get up. She sigh as she fell back down giving up on trying to get up.

Sapphire sat next to Yellow. She didn't know about the priestess. She knew that Yellow did something after school on Monday but she thought it was a club.

"You know what that thing was?" Urgency cross Blue expression as she practically flew toward Yellow. Nobody messes with her kingdom without revenge.
Yellow eyes were gently closing."no..." Seconds later she was snoring.

"What's up with her?" Blue grab her crown, knelt In front of her, and poke Yellow with the crown. Was it normal for her kind to be this weak?

"She get tired if she use too much energy. She use to pass out when she talk to the neighborhood dogs when we were little... Um your arm is bleeding."

"You know we're dead." Gold look bored out of his mind as he mess with the Cymatilis's kingdom solider, who was rushing to get somewhere, by creating spark of electricity in the courtyard that was under the bridge connecting two hall together.

Red look at his brother with a cheery smile. They were still in the same hall and was looking for anything they could have miss. "Don't worry. This is blue we are talking about. She one of the strongest water elementalist in the world."

"Like hell I'm worried about her. I'm worried about the king. You just had to promise to look for Blue, didn't you. He won't get you because you're his future son-in-law, but he will gladly get the boy who shock his army!"

Black had run down the hall to see if there was any shadows in the area. After searching thoroughly he came over to the princes. "Look like nothing here. But I did found this ribbon on the floor." Black held up a ruby-red ribbon that had a golden crest on the end.

"Maybe it from one of this kingdom council men's' daughters accessories , who by the way seem to be avoiding us. Like those two earlier, they ran as if we were one of those shadows thing. I bet Blue have something to do with this. Maybe it was silver hmm."

Red inspect it closer and notice there were burnt marks, scratches of the fabric, and dark silvery grey and white dust on it. "Who ever this is look like they were in combat with those things from earlier. From the look of it, they took harsh beating. For it to fall off a girl hair or her dress must have been a lot of force. We should probably look for the owner of this. Black can you call Tep to sniff this person out. Who know we may find the princess on the way."

"Dammit. Why are they hard sleepers!?" Blue sigh as she was getting bored with being in the secret corridor. She wish she could kick them up, but she is too nice to even do it. She was healing Sapphire wound after she healed her arm. Blue's hands were glowing in a soft glow like moonlight on water . This girl had to get some bone broken didn't she. Bruises and bones take longer since they have to done just right or the body is deform.

Sapphire glance at Silver and notice his cut was still there. "Why don't yah heal your wound? Don't yah know it there?"

Blue sigh. This girl really don't have a clue on how this world work. You think her damn Phoenix would have told her about other elementalist. "Healing is an ability that few elementalist have. Water is the most common for healing wounds, ice is more for burns and bruises and less for fractures, fire is use for internal infection but it can't heal wounds or fracture and plant is a rare but can heal most aliments. Air cannot heal.. That we know of."

" I thought that only water can heal!" Sapphire was confused. The show she watch always had a water person as the healer.

"Where did you get that idea? Either way, only a little number of people can heal. There we go. Silver, come over here. It your turn."

As Silver was getting heal White jolted up. She look fine . She woke up like she woke up from a great nap. "Yellow I think I fell asleep... Yellow? Where are we?" White eyes try to adjust to the darkness and yelp when she notice the princess finishing healing silver. "Princess Blue, Prince Silver! Are you okay? Where are we? Yellow, is she dead? Nope, just asleep."

" White, this is Sapphire. She is Yellow's sister. I got great new. We are going on a journey! All of us, that mean you too Silver."

White paled. Last time they went on one of the princess "journey" they nearly cause a war between pirate and merchants while stealing from both parties.
"I'm going to die, aren't I?"

"Black I think your whale is broken."

"He is not broken and he not a whale! You know he an ignisporcus and that it big because of my power level I'm going to become the strongest councilmen in the world! Oh and Tep telling me that the scent lead to here and that the scent doesn't reach the bottom. He also detecting the princess and silver blood mix with the scent but it faint so it not serious." Black couldn't hide his excitement as he reminisce about his goal.

Gold shrug as he climb on top of the rail and stood there. He didn't want to be anywhere close to the princess since he was nearly decapitated by Silver for touching Blue's butt (not that he regret it). Hmmm should I leave silver left to die or should I try saving his sorry ass. Decision decision.

Red jumped up with Gold and summon a small fire to burn the leafy green that grew on the edge of the bridge. Black shrug and summon fire around the area where Tep told him that where the scent stops.

"The plants seem to be flame resistant since nothing had burnt. Maybe we need to increase the flame." Black eyes glitter in excitement.

"I could help" Gold lift his hand in front of him. Lightning crackle on his fingers like a snake that was prepared to attack.

"NO!" Panic was evident in both Black's and Red's face. Black might be excited about increasing the flame but he didn't want to cause the castle get caught on fire.

"I been trying those control practices you gave me! I can help... I'm not useless..." Gold mumble the last part to himself.
Gold is one of the rare elementalist that was born with lightning instead of fire. It is so rare that he was the only one in the past 100 years to be born with this. They said he was even born in a storm that was directly over the castle. The problem is that everyone in history who was born with lightning could control fire at a young age. Gold is 15 and he still is unable to summon fire with little concentration. He could instantly summon lightning while it take Red a few seconds to charge to create lightning.

"We know it just umm you need a bit more practice controlling on where the lightning hit" Red scratch the back of his head worried that his brother might do something that will cause more damage than the damage already done.

"Control! I have the best control when it come to lightning I will sho- AHHHHHHHHHH!" One of Gold foot was unbalance and when he pivot toward Red he slipped off the rail over and into the bushes that seem to open up for him and close just as fast. Gold scream sounded more distance as if he was going farther and farther away.

Black whistle. "So that how it work. Last one in is a rotten egg."

"Princess, you got to be kidding! we can't possibly-" White complaint was cut short by a scream that was coming from the slide they had all enter from earlier.

"Dammit, I know that scream all to well and know that what follow it is something I didn't want to see today. White take Sapphire and Yellow through the servant corridors that lead to the room with the staff closets. Make sure that you put a wig on Yellow so she doesn't stand out. Now go!" Blue practically threw White and Sapphire(who was holding Yellow) out of the secret door and shut it quickly as the scream drew closer.

"Umph!" Gold rub his face as he landed face forward. Second later Red landed right on his back. Red got off before Black came down and landed on Gold back
"Get off of me! Please tell me your pig isn't coming down." Black practically flew off once he realize he sat on Gold. Gold rub his back.

"Blue, is this where you been hiding? Kinda dark for you isn't?" Red scan the room he just enter with interest.

Blue cross her arm with a smirk lacing her face. "Well if it isn't the two prince of Ignis. How did you found my castle secret chamber?"

"Uh. Well we were looking for the girl with this ribbon because it pretty damage and since there was that invasion of shadows I assume that the owner of the ribbon had been injured." Red states while holding up the red ribbon.

Blue almost grimace as she see Sapphire's ribbon. It must have drop when that thing was choking her. But she smiled with fake happiness and walked over to Red. "This is my ribbon I made it for a friend. She had been looking for it everywhere. Damn, it got really damage. Can I have it back?"

"Here you go Blue. We should go to your father, he in panic since the attack."

"You mention something about a shadow?" Silver finally chimed in.

"Don't worry pal, we will explain it to the court." Gold put his arm around Silver neck as he rough Silver hair up a bit.

"I'm going to kill you in your sleep."

"Servant's bathroom/ changing room is right through here. We keep our spare uniform in here." White pop her head through and scan to see if there was anyone in there. "Clear, let go."

The room that they had enter was more like a lobby and there was two door on the side of the room with different colors of door. In the middle of this was closets that were in rows of five. White scurries to two of the rows of the closet and pulled out one outfit from the two rows. Sapphire swore she saw stars in White's eyes.

"Here we go. Sapphire, you can where this. I will help Yellow change. Good thing I have Bubu's things." With that White push Sapphire into the pink door on the right and push her into the closest stall. White grab Yellow and went into the stall across hers.

Sapphire nearly gag as she saw the uniform that White chose for her. She was never fond of dresses. It was a simple maid outfit that come with a small frilly end apron that goes over the body. With it was a black head band with white flowers lace over it. She didn't think it was all that bad since it look great on White and it will defiantly look great on Yellow... What did Blue meant Yellow will stand out?

Reluctantly, Sapphire put on the dress but decide that it was best to go bare footed than to go in the uncomfortable flat ant the pantyhose that goes with the outfit. During the time she was changing she heard White giggling and humming frequently.

When she got out she gasp as she saw what had cause White to giggle and hum. The stall White and Yellow was in was open and there on the stall opening was Yellow barely standing with a sleepy expression on her face. Yellow eyes weren't it vibrant green shade, but instead a sapphire shade. Her once long blond hair was hazel nut like Sapphire and it look short since her hair was cover in a straw hat. Heck, the only reason why she recognize her was because she lived with her so long to remember her face structure.

"What did you do to her?! She look like a boy!" Yellow was wearing a yellow tunic that made her body look more flat with blue farmer pant that were kinda baggy and navy purple boots.

"She was notice by the princes of Ignis and she have blond hair. We have to keep a down low. What is more down low than a gardener. Why aren't you wearing the shoes and pantyhose?" White was holding Yellow toward the door that led to the lobby. Yellow was still in a daze but was slowly coming to.

"Who care about those? We were just in a war like situation, like they are going to complain over me wearing no shoes. Either ways, why does it matter if her hair is blond? If the prince already saw her with yah then what is the point of hiding her?" Sapphire didn't mind the outfit but she hate being left in the dark.

As they made their way to the front of the lobby, White turn sharply to Sapphire. "Make sure that you don't use your element unless it is water element. This kingdom is name as the kingdom of wave for a reason. Also I dyed Yellow's hair because the kingdom only have burnet and a shade of blue eyes. She is paler than most but that okay. We will be heading to the throne since that is where we hide if something attack the castle, beside doesn't she look cute!"

"Ahhhh I see... I look like Sapphire little brother." Yellow was still in a daze but she was able to stand for herself. White let out a squeal.

As they walk the hall Yellow couldn't help but grimace as she saw the damage that the shadows had created in the once blue and white marble halls. The closer they got to the throne room the more there was traces of gray and silver powder mix with blood.

All three of the girl gasp when they saw the wall of ice that cover the main throne room. The wall was thicker than 15ft. On the ground there was pile of the gray silver dust that reach to their knee.

"Damn it! How do we get through this?" White kick the ice wall. "How are we going to get through this? I can't bend ice or water. Sigh. Sapphire, can you please melt this ice? I know that I said that you can't but we can't get through this without you melting it."

Sapphire place her hand on the ice and focus on melting it. Usually Toro helped her control her element but since Toro was exhausted she might as well practice. The blue flames came out of her palm and quickly evaporate the ice. She tries to stop the flame but she couldn't. "Dammit!"

By the time Sapphire control her flame she had already melt the door. Yellow let out a nervous shaky laugh as she saw the inside of the throne room. There were more than a hundred pair of wide eyes looking straight at them. She spotted Blue easily as she seem to had argued with the man who was sitting on the largest throne and they were now shock by their entrance. Yellow spot the three boys that White and her had met earlier next to Blue. All three of them were in a defensive stance in front of Blue, the king, and queen (Yellow assume) immediately. Soon guards were around them. "Um sorry for the rude entrance."

"I choose them to be my guards." Blue voice rung sharply throughout the throne room as she point toward the three girls.

"You must be crazy to think that I will let two maid and a little boy to protect you! Your fiancé is more than qualify." The king hit his fist on the throne he sat on.

"I am more than qualify to protect myself. If you worry about protection then those two, the new maid and the gardener, will protect me. They were with me when those things attacked. They are stronger than they look." Disbelieving glances were sent toward Sapphire and Yellow.

"Then why don't they fight those who I think will be a better guard?" The king's smirk match his own daughter.

"Deal. We will fight in the practice field in 30 minute. See you there." Blue went straight through the crowd with a smirk place on her face. This was a huge gamble that could cost her but it wouldn't be fun if there wasn't no risk. She also need to give her parent peace of mind that when she does leave the kingdom. Her parent must know that she was in good hands. Beside I need to see their strength and weakness. I might get more info on Yellow. From the look of it, Sapphire weakness is control. She smiled at the three girls and told them to follow her. Sapphire and Yellow were confuse but White was in panic.

"Princess you gotta be joking!? These girl can't fight prince Red! Prince Green and you can't even beat him!"

"Wait we are fighting a prince? I'm in!" Sapphire eyes were gleaming with determination as she thought about fighting a strong opponent.

"Yes and it not just Red. The guards father had suggested are councilmen Black, crown prince of Ignis, Red and second in line of Ignis, prince Gold. But it most likely that father will make it fair by choosing two out of the , don't worry they are strong. They could do it, beside all they need to do is prove that they are sting enough to protect me." Blue scan Sapphire maid outfit, even though she look cute in it she can't fight in it. "Maybe we should change your outfit to something more appropriate for fighting."

"Yah think!"

"Is it just me or do you think it pointless to fight that kid and that maid? I know that the princess don't want us to guard her, but did she have to sacrifice those two kids. They are both younger than us and the maid obviously have no control over her element since she burnt the door down."Gold was laying in the grassy field that was a section in the practice field.

The residents of the castle were eagerly waiting for the fight to start. Black and Red were as eager guess what the two that the princess had pick to be her guard can do. They were discussing on what their element was and how strong were they. Usually Gold will participate but he was a man devoted to ladies. His main rule is to never hurt a girl. Maybe I should only attack the boy then.

"Are yah the princes that we have to fight? Not gonna lie but I'm a tad disappointed you guy look like there is little muscle in yah. Heck, Yellow can beat yah." The maid from earlier cross her arm which was in a navy blue glove that reach from her mid finger to her elbow in which fold lightly on the end (which were white). She had a sky blue scarf around her neck and had a belt like sack on her waist. She was wearing a navy blue vest like tunic that reach below her waist which showed her sky blue undershirt and black tight. To top the outfit was a short night sky boot that the bottom of worker shoes.

"Who are you calling weak, wildchild?" Gold was rethinking his no fighting woman rule.

"Bring it princey boy."

Before they could fight Yellow stood in the middle of both Sapphire and the princes. "I don't want to fight. I'm against fighting for no reason."

Blue rush to Yellow side as she saw the girl tearing up. "You must fight. In order to return you back home we need to get of this kingdom. My father will hunt us down if I suddenly disappear. You must prove to be worthy on protecting me. Good luck." When Blue had finish whispering to Yellow she went to where Silver, her father and mother was sitting.

Yellow was contemplating on the situation until she let out a futile sigh. She was a pacifist but they needed to return home some how. She walk with her head up high to Sapphire's side.

Blue risen from her seat and spoke with a commanding voice of a ruler."This battle is between Sapphire Sato and Yellow Sato versus the prince of Ignis, Red and Gold. The rules are that each team must fight each other until they are unable to fight. By unable to fight, I mean that they are physically unable to continue to fight in 15 seconds after they are knock down to the ground. Those does not mean a battle to the death. Am I clear Gold! They must fight a fair battle. Now begin!" I hope I hadn't put them in an early grave.

Second pass as they stare at each other in a stance. Second pass as they each waited for the other to make a move. Finally, Red broke the silence. "Shouldnt you take off your hat?"

Yellow smile at him. "No, it's fine. I can do this with it on."

"Cocky little kid." Gold sent electricity to the boy in the hat. Yellow dodge it but barely since the lightning was crackling every where. Before he could send a another shock of electricity the maid growled and sent a ball of fire in his direction. It barely graze his cheek but he was shock on how hot it was. This is a challenge, not a try-to-melt-the- person-face-off match!

Red was about to attack the girl but the little boy was coming right at him. Red easily created flame from his palm. With on lift of his hand, aim at Yellow, the fire in his hand became like a blow torch. The boy surprise everyone as he gracefully dodge the attack and was able to close the distance between them. Looking at the boy closer he could easily mistaken him for a girl. He sprang backward and blew a breath of fire at Yellow direction. Yellow jump backward and once she landed she went charging at Red again.

Sapphire was getting annoyed with the yellow eyes boy. First, he attacked Yellow and now he was sending electricity which made it impossible to close the distance. Blue warn her to use only one element, making her unable to trap him in the grass. Sapphire focus her elemnet through her feet in hope of making a jet. Gold was about to send a sphere of electricity when she flew a few meters up in the air. She flip in the air to adjust herself to kick him, but with that she sent a whip of flame from her heel toward him. Gold try to dodge it but it graze his left arm causing him to scream in pain. This girl is really trying to burn me alive.

Yellow watch the scene unfold in front her. She was shock to see how damage the field was from their fight. She had turn when she heard the crowd gasp as Sapphire risen to the air. Yellow watch as Gold clutch his arm and was sending lightning through his feet toward the airborne Sapphire. She knew that Sapphire couldn't control the fire temperature yet and that boy arm was probably a first degree burn. She forgot about her plan for Red and went changing to Gold direction. This of course shock everyone as she sped in incredible speed toward Gold.

Red couldn't believe that they were ganging up on the injured. He shot fire balls at Yellow but they seem futile as a she was able to dodge them or was fast enough to go pass it before they even hit the ground. He sped off in her direction to defend his brother. Before he could reach them the maid from early land a kick right in his face. Apparently, she figure out how to land

Gold was delirious from the the pain and focus on hitting the maid that he didn't notice the boy right next to him until he felt sharp jabs on his body. He gasp as he felt his body began to feel limp. He collapse to the ground as Yellow hit an area in his neck. Gold felt pressure on his burnt and wince. Yellow guess was correct. Sapphire had cause a 1st degree burnt on his whole left arm. Second later, the pain dulled till it was nonexistent and it felt like there was a warm light was on it. He could hear Red screaming Gold name but what he heard before he pass out was a gentle voice saying. "Everything will be just fine."

Once Yellow finish healing Gold she notice that Sapphire was now in a fire fist fight with Red. Red was fighting with a smile while Sapphire was panting and look like she was almost at her limit. Yellow eyes widen as she saw what Red was doing. He had burned the grass with his miss punches and previous attack to create smoke to ware his opponent out. "Sapphire! Get away from him!"

Her warning came too late. With one swift kick, Sapphire went flying about 20 feet away from Red. Sapphire pass out, leaving Yellow and Red to decide who will be Blue's Guard. Yellow knew that Red had held back throughout the fight but she was still worried about Sapphire. Yellow didn't notice Red charging to use a lightning that was strong enough to make the Yellow pass out. By the time she did notice, she was already by Sapphire's side checking on her injury.

Lightning is unpredictable. It could change direction easily and it can hit multiple of areas. With one touch it could cause the strongest man to pass out. Yet, this little boy was able to carry Sapphire and still dodge the lightning perfectly. Red had certainly underestimated this boy strength. Red sent more lightning toward the boy but the boy dodge all of them with grace that was abnormal for a gardener to have. The boy gently place Sapphire on the ground and sent Red a glance that shine with determination. In a blink of a eyes the boy was right in front of him.

Yellow jam her finger on his shoulder. Red jumped a great distance back but his right arm felt limp on his side. Yellow was in a fighting stance that Red never saw before. Like lightning she was striking at him with speed he could fathom a little boy to have. 1,2,3,4,5,6 jabs it what it took to finally immobilize Red. He cause burnt mark on Yellow but other than that she was fine. She slouch down after 15 second pass and Red was unable to fight.

Only the sound of the wind passing through the field interrupted the silence. Blue got out of her state of shock and smirk at her jaw dropped father. "Well, look like I'm in safe hands"
