Hey guys! What's up?

Today I started reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and I love it. I'm only on chapter 5, page 64 and I love it. I also watched his Vlogs on YouTube. Guys, John Green is officially my favorite author EVER.

Kay.

Sorry for the delay. As you can see, school started and I'm all over the place, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like school. Yeah, I get bored and all, but I actually like learning so far. And I want to do good in school this year, so xD

Alrighty, let's get to the real reason why we're here!

I do not own Danny Phantom.

A Phantom Story

Chapter 16

"W-What?" I asked, my heart pounding. First Phantom betrayed me, now my own Aunt? How? Why?

"Sammy, I know. We were shocked too. She said ever since Toby died, she hated us for still having a kid. She was jealous. I knew she was jealous of that ever since he died, but I didn't know it was this strong…" my mother explained.

It all made sense now. How she slapped me for no apparent reason, how she would get drunk, and how they waited three weeks for them to come and get me after my parents been kidnapped. In those three weeks, she was helping Phantom and Plasmius. How could she!?

"Good thing we got saved in time," my dad said. "Susan said she was gonna try to start beating you every single day and then murder you! You can't go back in that house. Not as long as she's there." He pointed to the house that we were standing from.

And as he was pointing, the front door of the house slowly opened, revealing Aunt Susan. Her eyebrows were narrowed, her eyes glowed red, and her mouth was curved into a grin. My parents and I gasped. She looked evil; threatening. Her eyes even glowed red. … But how?

"Hello the Manson Family. You reunited so soon," she said, her voice low and dangerous.

"And nothing will tear us apart again!" I yelled. Aunt Susan merely gave an evil laugh.

"Oh, you pathetic girl. So clueless. Have you forgotten I'm suppose to kill you, and while doing that, take your parents away from you?" she asked. I growled, my hands clutching at my sides and my eyes narrowing. She wasn't. She couldn't. Not if I was here.

"You'll never could, because I will stop you! The three of us will!" I claimed. I looked behind me to look at my parents and they nodded. I smiled and turned to my so called Aunt. Again, she laughed.

"You can't defeat me, fool. Once I agreed to help Vlad with his little plan, he gave me ghost powers! How? Well let's just say there was an open portal that was useful," she explained. I gasped. When Phantom and I talked every night, he mentioned how he died. He went into the ghost portal that his parents created and died of electrocution. But what if that wasn't the whole story? What if he got only ghost powers like Aunt Susan?

What if… he was half ghost?

I blinked and shook my head. There was no time to think of that now. There's work to be done. I can think of that later.

I stepped forward to Aunt Susan. When I was close enough, I pushed her towards the house, her back meeting with the wall. It may or may not hurt her, but it sure made her angry. Her eyes glowed a bloody red and her face looked murderous. She was flying towards me to attack when my dad stepped in and punched her straight in the face, taking her by surprise and knocking her to the ground.

"Go, Sam, run!" my dad yelled.

"No, I won't! I won't leave you and we'll defeat her together!" I shouted.

"Sammy, she will kill you if you don't. Run to find help! Run!" my mom yelled back. I looked in both of their eyes, giving them worried glances.

"We'll be alright, Sam. Go," my dad said calmly. I sighed and nodded.

"I love you guys. Be careful," I said and began to run in the dark cold night.

"SEND THE BACKUP! SEND THE GHOSTS! SEND VLAD!" I heard Aunt Susan scream. I ran faster, my heart pounding and my legs aching.

As I looked back I saw the ghosts. I saw the ghosts that were trying to kill me, to kidnap me. I saw Vlad in the lead. He was flying fast, he was flying closer and closer. I ran even faster down this never ending street. Where was help when you need it?

I thought of Rebecca and Alex. Were they alright? Were they captured? Were they beaten for answers? I have no idea. The last time I saw them was this morning. This morning felt like ages ago, and it was my birthday. I have to tell you, this was the worse birthday I'll ever have. Finding out that your boyfriend (now ex) was part of your parents kidnapping, getting kidnapped, and your Aunt being part of this whole thing too. The only good thing was that I found my parents…

I thought of Phantom. How dare he betray to me, lie to me. How dare he mess with my feelings. Doesn't he know how much pain he caused me? He's a jerk, I should've never trusted a ghost like him. All ghosts were evil. They're such good actors. Why did I fall for it? Maybe because I thought he was different?

I thought of home back in California. Everyone was so cruel there. They called me names, they hurt me in the inside and out. They called me weak, useless, and a cry baby when my parents were first kidnapped. Luckily, Rebecca and Alex were there to comfort me. They kept me strong whenever the people's words hit me like a brick.

I thought of Paulina. She was the people in my old school combined in one person. She was a shallow witch. She was a selfish brat, a slut, a whore, and most of all, a bully. She thought that whoever was rich or pretty like her, was her friend. She thought by her being Miss Popular and being the girl who every boy had a crush on, meant that she was the most famous person in the world and deserved everything good. But no, she's wrong. Someday she'll regret whatever she's doing. Someday…

I then thought of Valerie. She was my friend. We had fights, we made up, we stood up for each other, and comforted one another. She was the one who stood by my side through it all. She stood up for me when Paulina was bullying me, and comforted me like I usually did to her. So I have to thank Valerie because she's the one who kept me strong.

I thought of Tucker. What a jerk he is. I wonder how he's not part of this whole plan. He broke Valerie's heart, he slammed people down to the floor to make him feel better. I felt sorry for him. Just because he had a fight with his friend doesn't mean you have to put your anger on everyone else. Just forgive or apologize or something!

And then I thought of Danny. Now that I think of it, he does look like Phantom a little bit. But that's impossible. Danny might be a jerk, but he's a hero. Phantom's a villain. Danny saved me from a ghost that was crashing into the school. Phantom might have saved me once, but that was just to get on his good side. It was all an act.

I looked behind me. Vlad was getting closer and closer. I tried to run as fast as I could. My legs were burning, my heart was aching from all the pounding, my face was wet from sweating. But I didn't give up. I promised my parents that I would continue to run and find help.

Just then I saw a glowing green light. I ran faster to it. Once it was in the clearing, the glowing light were green eyes. They looked familiar, and I almost thought they were Phantom's, but they weren't. These eyes were darker. Phantom's were so much lighter. And these eyes looked like the ones I saw in the room of my Aunt and Uncle's house on the first night…

I ran closer to it to see its body. Its ghostly form was black with little red markings on it. Its hair was black, too. The ghost's hand held up, telling me to stop. Even though I couldn't, I did.

It floated to me. The ghost then came closer and closer until it reached to my ear. Then I heard his voice whispering a word that made me confused and must obviously obey.

"Run."

HAHAHA THE EPILOGUE WAS REVEALED HAHAHA.

Okay, confused, aren't you? "Wait, that isn't Danny!?" Nope. It's someone else. Who do you think it is? ;)

Kay. I'm gonna go to bed now. But before I go, what will happen next? Will Sam outrun the ghost? Who is that ghost who told her to run?

Find out in the next chapter ;)
