Hey guys.
Wow… two months… that's the longest time I ever did for updating a story…
I'M SO SORRY.
My mind has been all over the place, ugh. I've been so writer's block.
Oh and hey, earlier this month I made another fan fiction account. Its all where my Friends fanfics go. If you want to check that out, go to "You'reHisLobster". My first fanfic has been published on December 2nd (:
But don't worry, I'll always still be active on this account ;)
And how was everyone's Christmas? (well… if you celebrate it…)
I finally got a phone. HA.
Okay, on with the story.
I do not own Danny Phantom.
A Phantom Story
Chapter 18
Danny is Phantom? How could this be? When did this happen? Who is half ghost!? Well, Aunt Susan was…
So… he's been lying to me. This was why he was trying to distance himself from me so I can never find out his secret. He was probably planning my death or something. That bastard. How dare he try to trick me in his game. How dare he try to trick me at all! Why did I let him in my life again?
He was still standing there. This was my chance to bust him, tell him that his little game is over. But a part of me said that I didn't want to confront him; that I was not ready to speak to him. But I shook it off. I think he had a right to know that his secret has been blown.
"So, you were Phantom all this time, huh?" I asked, raising my voice so he could hear me. He jumped as he turned around to look at me, his eyes full of horror. I slowly made my way down the stairs, and once my feet touched the floor, I crossed my arms and narrowed my eyes.
"S-Sam? How did you get in here!? How much did you see!?"
"A little birdie flew me in. And I saw enough," I answered. Danny then rubbed the back of his neck.
"Look… I know it's hard to take in, but I can explain everything! I swear!" he cried. I scoffed.
"Explain what!?" I snapped. "How you kidnapped my parents? How you lied to me? How you were together with Paulina while you were with me?"
"Hey, I broke up with Paulina when we started dating, for your information! If you were hear long enough, you would've heard me saying to Tucker that you made me realize how shallow she is because you're so much better than her!"
"Well, if you were smart enough, you would've realized that awhile ago and would told me the truth!" I shouted.
"You don't understand, I never told anyone my secret! … Well, except Valerie, but that was different!"
Whoa, wait a minute. Did he just say Valerie?
"You told Valerie? My friend, Valerie!?" I asked.
"… Yes…"
"And she accepted you for who you were!?"
"… Yes…"
"Then why did she say to stay away from you and that you were dangerous!?"
"I guess she was trying to protect you… I told her that we were dating and that you didn't know my secret and she started yelling at me… She told me that I should've ended it before you found out about everything but I said no because… well… I think I was falling in love with you…"
I wanted to believe it, but I couldn't. This guy was a liar, a cheater, an evil ghost. He wasn't telling the truth, right? Right. He was just trying to get under my skin again; trying to make me fall in love with him again so he could break my heart and destroy me. I wasn't going to make him do that. No, not this time.
"Yeah, right, Phantom. Like you have a heart anymore," I said. I think I got him a little angry because his eyes started to narrow and his hands started to make fists.
"You don't know anything," he hissed. "You don't know my mind, you don't have my memories. You have nothing. I do love you and I swear I never wanted to kidnap your parents. That's not me. I'm a hero and you know you you know that."
I was just about to reply when a crash was heard upstairs. Danny's eyes widened as he flew right pass me and flew up the stairs. I raced after him to find Vlad and Aunt Susan burst into the wall. I gasped. How did Vlad get passed the ghost shield and Susan pass my mom and dad?
"Plasmius," Danny hissed. "You better run before I destroy you." Vlad laughed.
"You promised me you'll destroy me thousands of times, my dear boy. But you know what? I'm still here… I still exist," he said. I could tell Danny's eyes glowed much brighter. He was getting angrier by every second and soon I could feel the anger in this room. He then charged an ectoblast at Vlad, who simply blocked it by a shield.
"Never. Reference. Him. EVER!" Danny screamed as he tackled Vlad to the ground. I wondered what Danny was talking about.
The-Aunt-Who-Betrayed-Me stared in my direction. My heart started pounding as she floated towards me. But I calmed myself by saying I could do this. I'm tough, I'm independent. I can take down a ghost who used to be my Aunt, right?
Worth a try.
"So, Samantha, you think you can run away this time? I'm going to let you suffer the pain Toby did because you deserve it. It should've been YOU who was driving that car that night and died! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN YOU!" she yelled and before I could even blink, I found myself thrown at a wall. I groaned as I touched my head, hoping it would stop pounding sooner or later.
"SAM!" I heard Danny yell. I then saw him punch Susan and throw her to the other side of the house, landing right next to Vlad.
"We gotta get out of here before they get up," he said and tried to lift me up. I slapped his arm away.
"Don't touch me," I snapped. Danny sighed.
"Do you wanna get out here alive!?" he asked harshly. I nodded. "Then grab my hand!"
"Only this time, ghost boy," I finally gave in. He turned us intangible and we flew out of the house.
Once we landed on the ground, I quickly pulled my hand away. He looked sad and disappointed, but he deserves to be. He deserves to be miserable. He has done a terrible thing and deserves nothing good in life.
…So why did it hurt me for thinking that?
"You know, Valerie hated me at first when she found out my secret. She actually acted like you now… but Tucker convinced her that I was still the same guy, just I was a ghost, too… that she hunted…" Danny told me. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"She hunted you? I don't find that surprising. F I had a weapon, I would've tortured you with it by now," I said. Danny sighed.
"Nice to know," he said. "And yeah, she hunted me. The reason why she did was that a ghost dog appeared and it was out of control… he destroyed her dad's work and he got fired and they had to move out of their house and live in an apartment because they lost all their money. She blamed me for "ruining her life" when I actually made it better," he explained.
"And how is that?"
"By realizing how bad the A-List were and having better friends than them… like me and Tucker…" he answered.
"You? Better friend? Tucker? Better friend? Seems to me you two are assholes just like the A-List," I admitted. Danny narrowed his eyes.
"You don't know me. You don't know how Tucker used to be. Before any of this happened, he was the nicest guy you would ever known… but since your parents got kidnapped, he changed."
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have kidnapped my parents and things would've been normal!" I shouted.
"I DIDN'T-" Danny's outburst was cut off when the earth felt like it was shaking. He turned around and I looked over his shoulder to see Vlad's army of ghosts running towards us.
Well, this doesn't look pretty at all.
And DOOONE.
So, how was that? Danny and Sam talked there. Think Sam will ever forgive Danny?
I'll let you know in later chapters ;)
I am tired. I'm going bowling tomorrow. I haven't bowled in years. I'm excited. I always loved bowling.
So what will happen? Will they defeat all the ghosts? Will Sam ever forgive Danny? Where are Rebecca, Alex, Valerie, Tucker, and Sam's parents? Are they okay?
Find out in the next chapter ;)
