Meanwhile, closer to the back of the halllway, Zuko, Toph, Sokka, Katara, and Aang were discussing the recent turn of events.

One discussion was between Aang, Sokka, and Katara.

"Why in the Water Tribe did we say yes to this-'Xandermon'-person?" Katara asked Aang with a frustrated look on her face.

"I was going to ask the same question." Sokka said with a concerned, serious look on his face. "Because I certainly don't trust him…"

"But Toph does." Was Aang's simple answer.

"Do you remember Azula? Fire Nation, blue fire, ring a bell?" Katara asked.

"How could I forget?" Was Aang's answer.

"Well, she was so good at lying that she could actually fool Toph! Toph for crying out loud! How do you know that isn't the case again?" Katara said.

"Toph has excelled quite a bit since then! I trust her good judgment." Aang answered.

"Well I don't… This guy reeks of trouble." Sokka said firmly.

"Well, let's wait and see what happens before jumping to conclusions. We can take care of ourselves if things go awry…" Was Aang's response. Both his wife and his brother-in-law nodded in agreement.

The other discussion was between Zuko and Toph.

"I sure hope you know what you're doing!" Zuko said with a distressed, angry look.

"I do…" Toph answered with a smug look on her face. Zuko sighed.

"My sister could fool you, who says this Xandermon isn't?"

"You have very little faith in my abilities." Zuko rolled his eyes, but didn't respond. That was the end of the conversation, and the benders continued to walk toward "training".

The end of the hallway finally came, ending at a door. Once all the eleven other-dimensional persons were there, Xandermon finally turned around and began to speak again.

"Wait here. I have something I have to do before you can enter."

They all waited as Xandermon went inside. A couple of minutes passed as the only words said amongst them all were. "Miss Katara, could you please help Bubbles? She hurt her leg…"

They all heard a loud, feminine screech coming from behind the door before Xandermon came back out again.

"I've got it taken care of." He said as he let everyone else in.

It was a white room, as they all expected, with nothing but a glass window, another hallway to their left, and another door. A young woman, about Luke's age, walked into the room from the other hallway. She had dark brown hair, light brown eyes that appeared yellow, overly pale skin (presumably from being indoors far too long). She wore glasses and a trench coat. Her smile spread from ear-to-ear, her hands seemed rather unsettled inside her trench coat pocket, and Xandermon kept glancing at her.

'I guess that's where the scream came from…' Thought pretty much everyone in the room but the girl and Xandermon.
