Hanna's POV

I woke up the next morning still in Emily's arms, for once this whole week I felt fully rested and happy, I looked over at the clock seeing it was only 11:00am. I snuggled in closer to Emily getting more comfortable before I remembered we had plans with Aria and Spencer.

"Em?" I said shaking her lightly. Her eyes opened slowly, "morning beautiful." I said as I placed my hand on her cheeks.

"Hey love, it's only 11:00am what are you doing up now? This is still early for you," she said in a tired voice.

"Ugh, I know but we have plans with Aria and Spencer remember?"

"How about.." Emily said gliding her hand down my torso, "we stay home today together, and just enjoy each others company, with no friends or parents.. Your mom won't be home till 9:00pm right?"

"Right, but Emily are you okay? You never pass up time to hang out with Aria and Spencer, they're important to you!"

"True.." Emily said as she leaned over "but you're more important to me," she whispered seductively to me, sending chills down my spine. I don't know how but Emily can always get her way with me.

"I — I'm gonna go call Spencer right now.." I got up from Emily, grabbing my phone before stepping outside the room. I dialled Spencer's number, it rang a few times. "Please pick up Spence.."

"Hanna?"

"Spencer! Hey! I really need to talk to you!"

"Well obviously if you're calling me this early, what's up?"

"I was just going to ask you if every things okay between us, I know that you were kind of mad about what happened between Emily and I last week.."

"Yeah I was but if Emily can forgive, of course I can too. Just don't let it happen again okay?" She said letting out a little chuckle. "Is that all you called for?"

"It won't, and no I was wondering if we can take a rain check on our plans today? Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, tomorrow's fine. I'll let Aria know."

"Thanks Spence, bye"

"Bye Hanna," she said before hanging up. I walked back into the room only to find Emily asleep again holding onto my pillow. She seemed extremely exhausted, so I left her to rest for a bit while I went to shower and brush my teeth in my moms bathroom, just incase Emily had woken up. When I finished I went back to the bedroom with Emily no where in sight.

"Emily!?" I called out.

"Downstairs!" She called back. I walked down the stairs confused as to how Emily got there before me.

"How did you-"

"Get down here before you? Well you take like 10 years in the shower, that's how," she said causing us both to start laughing.

"Whatever.. So what are we going to do today since this was your idea to stay home," I said giving her a look as I noticed she was moving closer to me.

"Well.. I was thinking we go put on your favourite movie, when that's done have a marathon of Gossip Girl, and just cuddle."

"Sounds perfect." I said giving her a peck on the lips.

The first thing we did was grab a bunch of blankets, and popped in The Breakfast Club. For the rest of the day I spent it in Emily's arms, happy and content with just a relaxed day for just the two of us.

The next day, just like promised, we went out with Aria and Spencer to our regular spot at The Brew. We all sat in peace and serenity before I noticed Aria looking over my shoulder.

"Aria, what are you staring at?" I asked her.

"Caleb.." she said trailing off on his name.

"What?! He's here?" Emily yelled out getting defensive over the fact that he was in the same café as me.

"Calm down he's not going to do anything," Spencer stated matter-of-factively before seeing him walk over to our table.

"Hey Hanna, could we talk for a minute?" he asked me.

"Whatever you have to say to me you can say right here. What do you want Caleb?"

"Lately I've been thinking about us and-"

"It's a little late for that," I said cutting him off, "I'm actually seeing someone."

Emily's POV

I turn around to see Caleb walking over to our table, don't make a scene, I say to myself knowing I'd get fiercely protective of Hanna. "I'm seeing someone," I hear Hanna say.

"What? Who?" He says growing a bit angry.

"No one of your concern," Hanna answers backs sternly.

"Well if you can't say who this person is clearly he's not worth it."

I couldn't take it anymore. "Actually. He's a she."

"Whoa, wait. You were the one Hanna left me for?"

"Yeah, I left her for you. Now if you'll excuse us we're going to leave now." Hanna said tugging me towards the door with Aria and Spencer following closely behind.

"Uh Han, could you give me a sec I forgot something in there," I lie to her just so I can talk to Caleb. I walk back inside seeing him sitting on a stool, I tapped him on the shoulder getting his attention.

He spins around with a content look on his face before he makes full eye contact with me, "oh Emily.. What do you need now? Is there anything else you want to take from me?"

"Okay, I'm going to say this once and only once. You are going to leave Hanna alone, if I hear that she got so much as one message from you I promise you will regret it. By the way Caleb, I didn't take her from you. You left her and that was probably the biggest mistake of your life. So I suggest you get over the fact that she's with me now and move on with your life." I say coldly to him before walking out. "Okay lets go."

"Where to now?" Spencer asks. I see Aria and Hanna give each other a knowing look I can already tell where we're heading.

"THE MALL!" The two say in unison.

Of course. — After a few long hours spent at the mall Hanna and I went home completely exhausted from the busy day we spent with our friends, while I was still a bit angry about Caleb walking in at The Brew and talking to Hanna, but I'm pretty sure after what I said to him he'll stay away.

"Em, hun, are you okay?" Hanna asked climbing into bed with me.

"Yeah yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing. Let's go to sleep I'm so tired."

"No.. What happened? Is this about Caleb walking in today?"

"Ehh.. It's fine. I talked to him."

"Wait when?"

"When I forgot something," I said gesturing air quotations.

"Wait, are you jealous? Aww that's so cute!"

"I'm not jealous!"

"Then wait are you?"

"I'm just envious of any advantage he could possibly have on you, I mean he is your ex and everything."

"That's jealousy, and what advantage? I'm with you aren't I?"

"Yeah but-"

"But what? Do you not trust me when he's around?"

"Hanna! Relax, of course I trust you! It's him I don't trust that's why I kindly told him to stay away from you."

"Oh really, and what was was this 'kind' way?"

"I just told him if he comes in any contact with you, I'll make sure he regrets it."

"You're cute, you know that?" she says moving closer to me placing a soft, gentle kiss on my lips.

"I know. Now can we sleep, please?" I whine to her.

"Fine," she says turning the lamp off and curling her body into mine. "Night Em."

"Goodnight Han."

This was it, it was officially the week of mine and Hanna's one month anniversary and I had no idea what to do, while Hanna on the other hand seemed to be a tad bit more secretive than usual.

Hanna's POV

There was so much pressure this week just to make one day perfect, of course I couldn't do this by myself so I went to Aria's to get help considering she's the biggest romance freak in our group.

"I have no idea what I'm going to do, I know she and I want to keep it really casual but I don't know what!"

"Hanna, breathe! I'll help you with this and it will be perfect. I promise. Now, since you two are keeping it casual I assume it's going to be a dinner at home?"

"Yeah, but I need some way to decorate the house and just make it all cute, I know my moms going to be out because I kind of asked her to be gone on Friday, she'll be at a friends so that's not a problem."

"Wait you kicked your mom out for this thing?!" Aria asked surprised.

"No, she sort of offered and me being me took that offer, she understands Em and I need our private time that day."

"Wow. I wish my mom was that chill with me having an anniversary at home."

"If I were her I wouldn't be," I said laughing a little.

"Why?"

"Uhm because one, it's Ezra he's a guy whom which could easily get you pregnant, while Emily on the other hand…"

"Okay Han.. I got it… Anyways, you only have a few days to plan this, so let's start! So for dinner how about Chez Mirabelle Vegan Bistro? Ezra ordered that for us one day and it's pretty good. Plus I know Emily has a thing for French food." Aria suggested.

"Perfect! So dinner's done, and to drink I will grab a bottle of wine from my mom's stash."

"Okay, now what are you giving her?"

"Umm my love and affection," I said causing us both to burst out laughing.

"That's true but gift wise, what are you going to get her?"

"Does lingerie count as an anniversary gift?"

"I feel like you're more concerned about the sex in this…" Aria stated awkwardly.

"What! No! I actually love Emily, but come on imagine her in that? Hot right?"

"Han, that's my best friend and YOUR girlfriend. Get back on track! What do you want to give to her?"

"Wait so no lingerie?"

"NO!"

"Okay okay… Hmm what if I get her a diamond heart shaped locket with she and I in it?"

"Aww, that's actually really cute," Aria cooed.

"I know, so does this mean we can go to the mall now?"

"Yup! I'll drive."

Aria and I spent the rest of the evening at the mall going from jewellery store to jewellery store. We stumbled across a store that had the most beautiful lockets in them, we saw the perfect one for Emily, it was simple but elegant. Displayed on it was sterling silver, with a smaller heart made out of beautiful diamonds.

"Aria, I have to buy this one. No questions."

"I'm agreeing with you on this, it's so perfect for Emily!" We waited patiently until a sales associate came up to us, I showed her which one I wanted.

"If you want we can engrave this for you, it will cost an extra $20. Is that okay?"

"Perfectly fine with me." I replied.

"Alright, what would you like on it?"

"Uhh,"

"How about H+E and under it put I love you" Aria suggested.

"This is exactly why I came with you!" I said thankful for Aria.

"Okay, it will take about 15 minutes. Can I get your name please?"

"It's Hanna,"

"Thank you."

Aria and I walked out of the store and went to grab some food to kill time since we had nothing else to buy.

"Are you sure you have enough to pay for that?"

"Of course, I have been saving up you know,"

"Wow, Hanna Marin saving money? I never thought those two things would go together,"

"Jheez, thank Aria," I said shooting her a jokingly dirty look. "Okay, what are you getting? I don't know about you but I'm getting a salad."

"Same, there's not many choices considering I'm a vegetarian."

"True," after we ordered and finished eating we headed right back up to the jewellery store, and walked up to the cash to finish our purchase.

"Is this engraving okay?"

"It's perfect," I said over joyed.

"Your total is $265.00," I handed my card over and punched in my pin, a couple seconds went by before the machine light up saying approved. The lady handed me a small bag with Emily's gift.

"Alright let's get out of here now, it's getting late and Emily is probably wondering where I am right now," I say checking my phone seeing a dozen missed calls and unread messages from her.

"Wow, she sure does worry a lot. I'll drive as fast as possible then," Aria said.

About 10 minutes later we arrived at my house, "Aria thank you so so so much for everything tonight," I said giving her a hug.

"No problem Han, your anniversary is going to be perfect. Now get into the house before Emily has a heart attack from worrying about you!" Aria said before driving off.

I walked in the house seeing my mom in the kitchen. "Hey, you're home," she said to me.

"Yeah I just got in, I was at the mall with Aria. Is Emily home yet?"

"She's upstairs wondering where you are,"

"I know.. I've been getting all the calls and texts. I'm gonna head up, go shower then sleep. I'm dead tired. Night mom."

"Goodnight sweetie."

I walked upstairs shoving the small bag into my purse, getting ready to get an earful from Emily about how I should have texted or called her back, I stepped into the room seeing on her phone texting with concern written all over her face.

"Honey I'm home," I call to her.

"Where have you been?"

"With Aria at the mall,"

"Why didn't you call me back?"

"My phone was on silent and by time I checked it I was on my way home."

"You could have at least told me you were going with her after school, I've been worried sick!"

"Well now I'm here and you don't need to worry anymore okay? I'm gonna go shower and make it all up to you after," I winked at before grabbing my things and walking to the bathroom. — When I finished I returned to our bedroom still seeing Emily with a concerned look, except it was kind of different it was angry and a bit sad looking.

"Okay Emily seriously what's wrong? Why are you still mad?"

"I'm not mad!" she said almost yelling.

"So you just raise your voice when your mood is neutral? What's it going to take for you to smile and be happy?"

"Nothing Hanna, because I'm not mad,"

"Fine if you say so…" I let us to sit in silence for a bit knowing she's crack eventually.

"Okay so what if I'm a bit mad, you shouldn't have left me worrying about you! What if something bad happened? I wouldn't have known, now would I?"

"I'm sorry," I said walking over to her side of the bed grabbing her hand, "do you forgive me?"

"No!" I leaned down kissing her sincerely on the lips, "okay, how about now?"

"Nope.." She said after. I moved the blanket that was on her lap and straddled her pulling the blanket over my shoulders. Pressing my body firmly to hers, again I kissed her but this time I was hungry for the taste of her so I deepened it slowly before pulling to ask, "do you forgive me now?"

"You're getting there," she said grabbing the back of my neck bringing me back to her. I felt her hands slip underneath my shirt moving up slowly.

Emily's POV

Of course I was mad at Hanna but the second she kissed me I don't know what happened all the anger just went away, I wanted to see how much she wanted me to forgive her so I kept saying no each time she asked. After she straddled me and kissed hungrily I wanted her, with only a few days left before our anniversary I knew we were both riled up with want, without hesitation I slipped my hands up her shirt. She pulled away knowing I needed air so she moved down to my neck, I could feel her sucking lightly and biting. Just before things could go any further I stopped her.

"Han, don't you think we should stop there?"

"Do you want an honest answer or a lie?" she asked out of breath.

"Honest,"

"No I don't think we should stop here but at the same time I do because I want our first time to be a lot more special than this, just one more kiss though?"

Of course I gave right into her request attaching her lips to my own, rolling her over to her side of the bed before pulling away and just wrapping my arms around her.

The next few days seemed to pass by fairly quickly until this was it after a month of waiting it was finally our anniversary. I had anticipated waking up with Hanna with me but she was gone, I looked over at the night table seeing a note from Hanna.

I already left for school, I had some errands to run, breakfast is downstairs. Love you. Hanna xo

That's it? No happy anniversary, did she forget? No way.. Hanna's been waiting and wanting this for as long as I have, she couldn't stop talking about it either.. Oh well maybe I'll see her at school and she'll say something. I quickly got ready, wishing Hanna hand't forgot. When I got to school I saw Aria and Spencer in the courtyard.

"Hey, Em! Aren't you excited? It finally your anniversary!" Spencer said clearly ecstatic of the event.

"Yeah I guess…"

"Wait why aren't you happy about it? Did you and Hanna have an argument this morning or something?"

"No, I woke up and she wasn't even there. She left a note for me just saying she had errands to run no 'happy anniversary' at all," I said disappointed.

"Just wait maybe she's doing something," Aria said as if she knew what Hanna was up to.

"If you say so.. Let's get to class before we're late. Hopefully she's at least in English.." We walked in seeing the everybody but the one person, Hanna. About half way through the period I finally saw her walk in with a piece of paper in her hand that she gave the teacher to sign, she made eye contact with me, Aria and Spencer and just winked. After getting her sheet signed I assumed she was going to be in class for the rest of the period, but she got today's homework and walked out. What was she up to? I sighed loudly looking over at Spencer who had a sympathetic look on her face, while Aria seemed mysterious. Pulling out my phone I texted Hanna.

E - Where are you going?

H - I told you, I have some errands to run, have a good day, I have to go. Sorry! xx

The rest of the day was pretty boring, I had expected it to go so much better but it just sucked, even though I should have at least said happy anniversary to Hanna, I just wanted to see if she'd remember and clearly thats a no.

Hanna's POV

I had such an early start to my day, I had left Emily a note saying I errands to run. She thinks I forgot our anniversary when really I'm taking school off to set things up. The first I did was drive up to Philly for a specific flower shop to find an osiria rose, her favourite one. After that school was about to start so I had to head back to Rosewood High to collect my assignments then get right back to making this evening perfect. I walked into English class seeing the three girls there, I felt kind of bad about making it seem like I had forgotten the anniversary completely but, I know Emily will love what she sees when she gets home. Time was moving a lot faster than I had expected, it was about 3:00pm by time I finished setting up our room and downstairs, thankfully I had until 6:00pm because Emily had swim practice. I drove back into the city to Chez Mirabelle Vegan Bistro to pick up the food I had ordered earlier. I had arrived him just a few minutes before Emily had reached home, quickly I set the table and lit a few candles as I heard the sound of keys being put into the door I went up to the front seeing her and her hair still wet from the pool.

"Hanna,"

"Happy anniversary Emily," I said softly walking towards her pulling her into a kiss.

"Happy anniversary, I thought you forgot.." she said after pulling away.

"How could I forget a day like this? I did a pretty good job at making you think I did though, didn't I?"

"Yeah you did…" she said looking down.

"Hey," I said tilting her chin back up. "Don't be upset, I didn't forget and I spent the day putting together the perfect evening for you, now come on," I said taking her hand walking her to the kitchen where the dinner was set up, with a bottle of wine and a few candles. I looked over at her seeing her jaw drop.

"You like?"

"I love it, and I love you." she said sincerely.

"I love you too. Now shall we eat?" — After an extremely romantic dinner Emily had offered to wash the dishes while she was doing so I ran upstairs lighting the candles and spreading more roses on the bed in a heart shape placing her gift in the middle of it. I walked back downstairs, sneaking up behind her moving her hair to one side, I started placing soft kisses on the base of her neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her impossibly closer to me.

"How about you leave the rest of the dishes and I'll do them later.. Let's head upstairs." I said taking her hand pulling her behind me slowly moving up the stairs, with each step I grew more and more nervous. Was this really about to happen? Opening the door, yet again her jaw dropped, there was a certain look in her eyes it was full of love and lust.

Emily's POV

As Hanna and I walked up the stairs, I felt more anxious than ever. I honestly had the best girlfriend in the world. She opened up the door revealing a dim lit room with candles, and osiria rose petals scattered everywhere, what caught my attention was the heart on the bed, in the centre of it was a jewellery box.

"Han, what is this?" I asked walking over to it.

"It's my gift for you, open it." I pick up the box, opening it revealing a heart locket I turned it over reading what was engraved on the back. "H+E I love you," I looked over at Hanna who started blushing. "You didn't have to get this for me Han."

"Yes, I did. It's been one month into our relationship and you need to know I love you so much," I had absolutely no words, she left me speechless, I opened up the locket seeing a picture of Hanna and I. This was perfect. "Thank you," I said pulling her into a passionate kiss, it quickly got heated. This was it. I pulled her down onto bed so she was on top. I moved my hands under her shirt pulling it above her head and she did the same to me.

"Emily.. Are you sure you want to do this?" she asked.

"Only if it's with you." I said before flipping our positions. Hanna had planned this whole day now it's my turn to take control, I kissed her hungrily desperate for the taste of her. I moved down to her neck sucking on her pulse point, just where I know it gets her the most, I heard her moan as I bit down lightly leaving a mark, she shifted her body up, I took this as a sign to move further her body. She arched her back up as I reached under unhooking her bra. I placed my mouth over her nipple sucking on it tortuously slow causing her to jump, as my mouth was occupied I moved my hands down her body slipping them into her jeans, she let out an even louder moan when my fingers reached her core. I started off rubbing slow tight circles, as soon as I felt her moving to get more friction I pulled my hand out.

"What the hell Em?" she asked frustrated.

"Patience Hanna…" I said leaning down kissing her gently on the lips. I slid down the length of her body hooking my fingers in her jeans and underwear pulling them down her body leaving her naked beneath me. "You're so beautiful," I said taking it all in, once again I placed a kiss on her lips moving my hand to her core, at the first touch she arched her back moaning. I kept moving circles around her throbbing clit, before moving a bit down, I felt her breath hitch and her heart beat started picking up more. "Hanna relax, it's just me.." I slowly and carefully moved one finger into her and pulled back out before re-entering again, I repeated this motion slow at first before I heard her saying something.

"Faster… please," she said out of breath. I did just as she asked, I moved faster and added one finger hearing her moan even louder. I felt her tighten around my fingers as my name came loudly across her lips.

"That.. was… amazing, your turn," she said giving me a mischievous look before flipping us over leaving me pinned down on the mattress. She began pressing kisses all over my body, wasting no time, she removed all remaining clothing I had on, I felt her move her thigh up against my core causing a moan to slip across my lips, after what I just did to Hanna I was so wound up that almost anything was going to make me cum. I felt her biting down on my neck leaving a few marks, she moved further down kissing a trail before dipping her tongue down to my core.

Hanna's POV

I dipped my tongue tasting Emily, I felt her hips move up and down, I moved my hand up holding her in place continuing to move my tongue against her swollen bundle of nerves.

"Oh my god, Hanna!" She yelled out. I decided to slide a finger inside her finding a quick rhythm. In less than a minute I felt Emily tighten around my finger breathing heavily, I continued moving letting her ride out the last few moments of euphoria before sliding out and removing my tongue from her. I pulled a blanket over us and curled my body closely into her.

"Happy anniversary again Em, I love you."

"Happy anniversary Han, I love you too." She said kissing me sweetly before we drifted off to sleep.
