Lara Evenskie has no parents. Her parents have died when she is 5, and she is an orphaned child at that tender age. Her parents have no relatives, and so, she lives at the orphanage at that age.
Taking pity on her, the rest of the October Café staff took her in and adopted her, giving her the surname of Elfreya once again. Lara became Lara Elfreya, and she is happy with them.
Lara retains the beauty of her visage and her song. She looks so much alike like Laia Elfreya 200 years ago. She constantly wears her hair in two neat low ponytails, and she is adorable. When she first moved into the manor ground of the Elfreya's and started to work part time at October Café, many men came and sought her hand out for a date. They adore her adorable innocent look, and she is beautiful in her small princess dress and garbs that Lenalee had brought for her at the October Café.
She transferred school to a private school grounds, and her friends followed her too! She excels in everything she studies, and manages to get number one in everything. The Elfreyas were so proud of her, and awarded her with a sumptuous meal cooked by Jerry.
Every single night, they would have dinner together regardless of any reasons. It is their tradition, and they stuck to it till this day. It made them family, and it made them one. They couldn't be any happier to have found Lara Elfreya, and they always took something off the dishes and place it on her bowl, asking her to eat more.
Lara offered to sing for the October Café when she is free, and Komui had agreed upon it. They brought her a white piano, and place it at a new corner in the October Café, enlarged so that the piano can fit in.

As she sings, she looks as if she is glowing, and Kanda knew why. The Innocence power she has all those years ago retains in her, and she is again reborn with the same powers and degree of strength. He could feel it, when she sings, she weaves a barrier of sort outside of October Café, protecting it from bad luck and other evil things. He chuckles. In the 21st century, there are no such things as evil anymore, but it is kind of her to have thought of this thing. Maybe she spins it without her knowing it, and maybe, just maybe, she did not know that she is spinning a barrier, much less a magical web that prevents bad luck and evil from entering.

Like what the lyrics she had sung had said, he is so in love with her. She is so sweet, so beautiful, so kind, so generous, and so selfless. He couldn't help it. He just loves her.

Since her arrival at October Café, he had brought her many gifts including clothes, watches, jewelries, flowers, shoes, and many other things that she have never dreamt of having when she is at the orphanage. She is deprived of so many things when she is there, and he is determined to give it back to her in full and double it with whatever she wants.
Her room at the Elfreya manor is huge, and the best thing? It is situated just right in front of his own room. She had a walk in dresser, a huge bathroom, a wonderful window ledge piled full with pillows and a huge bed with a canopy that you can control with a remote to move the curtains. He loves the curtains, because it drowns out the noises she would make when they make out on her bed.
He did not make love with her. She had wanted to wait, saying something about some magical moments when you have your first time given to the man she loves in marriage night. He chuckles, but he agrees.

The man approaches Lara, and gave her a piece of card.

"I am the Head Barista of October Café, and I own this café. Who the fucks are you?"
"Yuu…" Lara patted his chest, and whispers some words into his ears.
"The fuck?" Kanda curses and Lara clicked her tongue. "He's a scam!"
"I am not!" John Lee said to him.
"He is not, Yuu. He is real…" Lara pleaded with her puppy eyes, and Kanda melted then and there like a helpless man in love.
One month later, Lara is famous. She is the shining star of D&M Music Records, and her first ever solo album are sold out in seconds and in a million copies all around the world. Her face appears at everywhere around the billboards, and she becomes the host of all the brands that wanted her to be their spokesperson. She is famous, and she is loved by all in the whole wide world.
Kanda often accompanies her to everywhere she goes. She wanted him to go with her, and had pleaded so much that Kanda had to agree with her practically bounding while holding onto his arms.
He would sit in a chair prepared for him and watches her like a hawk as she plays out her role on the live TV set. Girls swoon around him and screamed, but he ignores them like they are just a bunch of annoying mosquitoes. Lara would then bounce into his arms, and glares at all the girls until they ran away.
"You're mine, Yuu-chan…" Lara said to him, and held him in her small arms. Kanda couldn't be any happier.
Their engagement is the news of the world. It became the hottest piece of news that everyone is just dying to know what dress she would wear and who would attend the party. Everyone wanted to come to their engagement party, but she only invites the people from October Café. Hundreds of reporters and paparazzi gathered outside the grand hotel of the Hilton Hotel just so that they could get a glimpse of her face and her dress.
And they did.
It becomes the cover image of all magazines. Vogue, Woman's Today, Seventeen, and everything else. Everyone copies her dress, and her engagement dress becomes the dress of everyone who wears it to their own engagement party. She is famous.
And so does Kanda Yuu.
The handsome bachelor who sweeps Lara into his arms. Everyone knew he is the handsome Asian man who speaks fluently of every language ever known to man, as he is a linguist. Everyone knew he had a Master from Harvard, and he is gorgeous. Everyone knew he is the Head Barista, and they all came to try his coffee. The café shop becomes so popular that everyone wanted to come to their café. They decided to enlarge their enterprise, and October Café appears in Asia.

They are a family, as per her wish 200 years ago when she dies as the Heart Apostle General, the High Priestess Queen. She made everyone immortal just so that they would be a family, and won't be lonely ever again. They now sit together and have their dinner, and laughs happily without a care in the world.
