A/N: School! Fights! Weird stuff! Maybe Sodia!

The two of them were heading up to school, Yuri having insisted he carried Flynn's bag as well.

"I'm not an invalid, Yuri," Flynn said irritatedly.

"You may as well be. Unless the doctor says you're fine, you won't be allowed to do anything straining until you're better," Yuri said, smirking.

"So you're just going to follow me all day?"

"Sodia's in all of your classes, correct?"

"You wouldn't."

"Try me."

"Yuri, I am starting to realise just how infuriating you can be."

"Too late. No take backs."

Flynn gave an irritated grunt, before sighing and resigning himself to being mothered over for however long it took.

At lunch time, as Yuri went up to the Student Council room to have lunch with Flynn, Tyler gave an annoyed click before heading to a private area and pulling his phone out. He quickly dialled a number, waiting for it to pick up.

"Tyler? What do you want?"

"Sorry to disturb you, Dad. But pressuring Flynn won't work now. He's with Yuri almost constantly."

"What about going home?"

"I don't know about that...But Yuri might just go with him back to his place before heading to his. There's no way to get to him now without the authorities getting on our backs."

His dad grunted, irritated. "Fine. Just stop for now. If we need a change in plans, I'll tell you," he said.

"Alright," Tyler said, hanging up before quickly texting the rest of his 'friends', telling them to stop getting at Flynn for now.

As he slipped his phone back into his pocket, he scowled.

"You beggar kids don't know your place," he snapped as he walked off.

The next day, Yuri headed up to the student council during one of his lessons. He wanted to talk to Flynn about his appointment at the hospital, and during a free lesson was the only time Flynn was available.

Knocking on the door, he heard someone call him in. He opened the door and stepped in, glancing at the back before realising Flynn wasn't there. Looking around, he blinked as he caught sight of Sodia.

"Oh, Sodia? I didn't think you'd be here. Where's Flynn?"

"The President has taken the rest of the day off, but he says he'll be back here when he's finished with his appointment, so just wait for him."

"Ah, right. Thanks," Yuri said, smiling at her before heading for the door.

"May I have a word for a moment, Lowell?"

Yuri turned back, confused. "Um...Sure, I guess. If this is about asking you to carry Flynn's bag, I'm sorry, but I didn't know who else to turn to.."

"It's not about that. It's about you."

"Huh?"

Sodia stood up, coming to a halt infront of him. "You are a hindrance to the President, Yuri Lowell. You have a bad reputation, and an even worse attitude. You never try, and anyone who helps you gets dragged down with you. Before you came along, the President never had to deal with half the stuff he's had to deal with now. If you hadn't come into his life, he would still be the top student, who was respected by everyone, rather than being beaten simply because he knows you."

"It's not like I-"

"I know you didn't do it on purpose. The fact remains, however, that it is because of you that the President is now injured. You may have a horrible sob story, but you're even more pitiful for never trying to improve. You just let it happen; and, because of that attitude, the President got dragged into it too. If you had half the smarts, ability, or drive the President has, then you would have already overcome all of this and made your life better, rather than relying on everyone else to do it for you."

Yuri was silent, taking her words in. After a moment, he gave a small smile.

"Flynn's right. You are smarter than him," he murmured.

Sodia blinked before Yuri waved his hand.

"I need to ask you another favour, but this will be the last one. Look after Flynn, okay? Wait until he comes back tonight, walk home with him, look after him, cook for him, take him to school in the morning, protect him. Do not let him get hurt."

"What do you mean? What are you going to do?"

"Exactly what you said I should. Leave Flynn alone," he replied quietly before walking out of the room, closing the door behind him a little louder than he intended.

For a moment he stood there, gazing at the floor. Could he really just give everything up, just like that? Well, he'd have to, obviously. Sodia was right; he was only ruining Flynn's life by being in it. If leaving helped Flynn...then he would leave.

With that thought in mind, he headed out of the building, leaving the grounds - this time, hopefully, for good.

Flynn arrived back an hour after school ended. The x-ray had confirmed that he did, indeed, have a fractured rib; the doctor said that he'd recover quickly if he didn't strain it, though. He sighed, realising Yuri probably wasn't going to let him do anything when he found out.

He headed for the student council room, expecting Yuri to be waiting there. When he opened the door, however, it was Sodia who greeted him, not Yuri.

"Huh? Sodia? Where's Yuri?" he asked, glancing around. Maybe he'd nipped out for something...

"Lowell requested that I be the one to take care of you now, President."

"Why? What's happened to him?"

Sodia shrugged. "He seemed to think it would be better if he left you alone. I think he wants me to take his place."

Flynn couldn't probably take in what she was saying. Yuri...leave? Why? What could convince him to go to such extremes? Was it Tyler? His dad? One of those suits? The police?

Too many questions whirled in his mind, and he gritted his teeth. Turning, he headed for the door.

"Wait, where are you going?" called Sodia, hurrying after him.

"To find Yuri," Flynn replied, starting down the stairs.

"You should rest! You're injured, and Lowell can look after himself."

Flynn hesitated. He knew she was right, but Yuri...

"Sodia, can you ask someone to keep an eye out for Yuri?"

"President..."

"Please."

Sodia paused at the heaviness in Flynn's voice. He souded so desperate...It broke her heart a little to hear him speak like that.

"Of course," she replied quietly, pulling her phone out and quickly asking as many people as she could to keep an eye out for Yuri.

That done, she slipped her phone back in her pocket and went forward, taking Flynn's arm to lead him down the stairs. He followed behind her, seeming almost defeated as he walked with his head bowed.

Sodia was starting to realise she really shouldn't have done this.

A/N: I lied! No fights! Definitely Sodia!
