A/N: Oh yeah! Yuri finally works!

Raven had finally deemed Flynn well enough for the two of them to go back to their own flat. Yuri sighed as he entered, looking around.

"Ah, I missed this place...But man did it get dusty. I guess we'll just have to clean it up..." he murmured, looking around.

Flynn blinked before sighing. "I forgot about all the food...I bet most of it is out of date by now. I think I have enough money for us to pick something up..."

Yuri glanced at him, biting his lip, then turned to Flynn. "You got out and buy some food, I'm going to call up some favours," he said, before heading out.

"Wait, what? Yuri? What favours?!" he called after him.

"How."

"Favours!"

"Yuri, there must be...what? Five hundred? How did you get all that in such a short time?"

"I know some guys, and I'd get them to rig me up with some small jobs that paid well. Nothing illegal, so don't worry about it."

Flynn raised an eyebrow. "Yuri, how can I not worry? You've seemingly acquired a lot of money out of nowhere."

"I'm telling you, it's fine! The jobs I do mean they pay less than they would if they did it with actual brands - and I usually do a better job anyway - so it's not really hard for me to get quick money. If I leave it a few weeks, requests just kind of pile up and I can get a ton in one go."

Flynn hesitated, then sighed. "You promise none of what you do is illegal?"

"I promise. I don't want to get involved with the cops that way."

"...Fine. What do you want to do with it?"

"Well...Do you have a bank account?"

"I pretty much have to if I want to get paid."

"Then we'll just put it in there."

Flynn frowned. "Are you sure?"

"Sure I'm sure. I don't think you'll go spending it all in one go," Yuri pointed out, shrugging.

Flynn hesitated, then sighed. "Alright. But only for now. We'll set you up with a bank account as well at some point. Wait, what are you going to do with your pay?"

"Get it transferred to your account, I guess."

"Why are you giving it to me? We could just go and set up an account for you."

Yuri considered. "Well...I'm pretty irresponsible, so I'd probably spend it on useless stuff. And you pay for pretty much everything, so if I just give it to you, then it makes your life easier."

Flynn bit his lip. "I don't like just taking it..."

"Don't worry about it, I'll get an account eventually. But this'll do for now."

"If you're sure," Flynn sighed.

Yuri grinned, then perked up. "So, what did you get?" he asked, heading to the fridge.

When Saturday eventually rolled around, Flynn set his alarm clock half an hour early. He woke up, yawning as he padded out of his bed then went over to Yuri. It took several attempts, but he eventually woke the raven-head up.

"Whasgoin' on?" mumbled Yuri, looking around blearily.

"Work, remember?" Flynn said, heading over to the kitchen.

Yuri blinked before groaning. "I just wanna sleep..."

"That's up to you. I don't think Cathy will be very pleased, of course."

Yuri considered this, then growled. "Fine," he muttered, getting up and joining Flynn in getting some breakfast.

The two of them got out on time, much to Flynn's relief. It was a miracle he'd managed to get Yuri moving as fast as he had in the morning...But it proved worth it when they arrived on time.

Alice was again behind the counter, and she grinned as she spotted Flynn. "Flynn! We've missed you," she said, pouting.

Flynn laughed. "Sorry. I would have come in, but I was under lock and key until I healed."

"Well, we wouldn't want you straining yourself. And who's the cutie behind you?"

Yuri turned to her, grinning. "Nice to meet you. I'm Yuri Lowell," he said.

"Oh? So you're the hottie who was staying with Flynn, huh?"

Yuri turned to Flynn. "You talked about me? How sweet," he teased.

"Shut up," Flynn muttered.

Yuri laughed then looked back at Alice. "I'm afraid I don't have your name, though," he said.

"Alice Barrow. Nice to meet you, Yuri," she said, holding out her hand. Yuri shook it, smiling, and she blushed. "I don't suppose you happen to have a girlfriend?"

Yuri blinked before glancing slyly at Flynn, who was slowly turning red. "Why, no, but I'm afraid I'm taken."

"Oh?"

"Yes...I have a previous engagement with a certain blond haired idiot."

Alice took this in, then squealed. "You two actually got together?! Seriously?! Ahhh!" she cried before rushing to the back to tell everyone else.

"Really Yuri?" asked Flynn.

"You shouldn't be so embarrassed. Anyway, where do I put my coat?"

"Give it here, I'll hang them up," Flynn sighed, taking it once Yuri had slipped out of it.

Cathy came out from the back, smiling. "Alice was screaming that you two were going out...I'm not sure why that girl got so excited, but never mind. So, Yuri, I suppose I should show you the ropes?"

"That depends. What am I doing?"

"We usually get new staff to wash up and serve drinks."

Yuri nodded. "Can I do a little cooking too? I don't get much practice at Flynn's.."

"If you do well, then yes, I don't see why not. Only if you work hard though, Yuri; I'm being very lenient with you."

"I know. Thank you," Yuri said sincerely, smiling.

Cathy shook her head. "Do you even realise what you're doing?"

Yuri looked confused. "Huh?"

"I suppose not...Well, it won't work on me," she warned before leading him round the back.

Yuri was presented with an apron and told to put his hair into a bun. This was easy enough, considering he usually wore it in a bun at school. When he was ready, Cathy explained what his job was.

"We don't have many customers yet, so for now there isn't much work to be done. We mostly make sure the bar and tables are clean, as well as checking the food stocks so we can get some from storage if we need any. For now though, I want you to go round the tables and make sure everything is in order. How old are you, out of interest?"

"Seventeen, eighteen in a couple of months."

"You won't be serving alcohol then. Well, that's not a problem, we have plenty of other staff able to do that. Hop along now, earn your keep," Cathy said, shooing him. He grinned at her before heading off to look round the tables.

As the morning dragged on, Cathy continued to give Yuri menial jobs to keep him occupied, all of which he did well, grinning and laughing with the other employees as he did.

When it came up to breakfast time, the bar began to grow busier. The people in the kitchens were working non-stop to make all the food that was being ordered, while the others hurried around taking orders and giving people drinks and food. A few people remained behind the bar, making the drinks, and people occasionally came up to order.

With so many people suddenly filling the place up, Cathy got Yuri to start taking orders.

"I know it might be a little overwhelming, and some people might be difficult to deal with, but just relax and try not to lose your temper," she said.

Yuri smiled. "Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be fine," he reassured before heading off to start taking orders.

Cathy watched him worriedly for a little while, concerned that his confidence was just a show, but as he easily made his way through the customers with pleasant smiles and a bit of small talk with the older ones, she decided he had probably been born for the job and left him to it.

Between nine and ten was prime time, so most of them got sent out to take orders and hand over food and drink. Cathy preferred sending out the more natural and calm ones, who could deal with irritated customers and still continue to smile.

Yuri finished to taking a group's order, reassuring them that he'd have it out to them as soon as he could, and turned to take it to the kitchen. He blinked as he saw Flynn, then grinned.

"You got kicked out too?" he joked as he passed him.

"Shut up," Flynn muttered after him, and he chuckled.

As Yuri got back to the kitchen, he saw several people standing around Cathy, complaining. She was trying to placate them, but they were ignoring her and continuing to argue.

"Please, we're very busy; your order will be out soon, but until then, please be patient.."

"We've been sitting here fifteen minutes already! Even our waiter was bad-mannered! The staffing must be rubbish! We pay you guys so employ good people already!"

Yuri could see that Cathy was out of her league, so decided to step in.

"Excuse me, is there a problem?" he asked, lithely slipping infront of Cathy and smiling politely.

"Our food is taking too long!" one man snapped.

"We've been waiting forever for our drinks!" said an elderly couple.

The complaints continued, and Yuri nodded. "Yes...But won't it take longer if you're standing here and not there for your food? It may have arrived already," he pointed out.

A few people considered this before walking back to their tables, but there were still quite a few people around.

"We want a table!"

"What about our drinks?"

Yuri glanced around, then spotted the person he was looking for. "Flynn!" he called.

The blond glanced up before walking over, joining him. "What's the matter, Yuri?" he asked, smiling at the customers.

"These three want a table, these two haven't had their drinks, those four haven't had their orders taken yet," Yuri listed off, motioning to each group.

"Alright. Sir, madame, could you please tell me what your drinks were? I'll make sure to bring them out to you immediately, free of charge. Yuri, take the orders and then get the three ladies seated," Flynn said, leading the eldery couple back to their seat.

Yuri quickly took the orders, saying they would be out soon, before motioning for the girls to follow him and looking for a spare table. He quickly spotted one and sat them down, asking for their orders while he was there.

When he eventually headed back to what he was doing originally, Cathy shot him a grateful look. "Thank you," she said.

"No problem. Though it's certainly got rather loud."

"Yes...It gets like this most days, though it's worse on the weekends. It usually takes me a while to work through those types of customers, so thank you for your help."

"Just call me if you need me," Yuri said with a grin before heading off to get more orders.

A/N: Yuri working will be finished next chappy, it was just reeeally long.
