It didn't take too long for Bailey and Lucy to recollect themselves and rejoin their family.
It also didn't take long until Cody and Bailey had to leave to pick up her parents.
Cody straighten Avril and Bradley's hats as Bailey kissed her remaining children's foreheads.
She kissed Anna and Tommy's foreheads as she looked at him and Anna. "You two behave for Mikey and Lucy, and when your grandmother Martin comes, okay?"
The younger ones nodded their heads before running to give their father a hug.
She kissed her oldest son and daughter as well. "Same for you two. Listen to your grandmother."
Michael shook his head. "Nah. I plan on misbehaving, I feel like being mischievous today."
Bailey gave him a stern look.
"I'll keep my eye on him, Mom. Now go, before some other family plans on taking Pappy and Grammy. " Lucy said referring to her mother's parents.
Bailey shook her head as she picked up Bradley. "I mean it, you four. Behave."
Cody quickly kissed Lucy and Michael's, along with Anna and Tommy's foreheads. "Stay out of trouble, you guys. And listen to your grandmother, please. She already had to deal with me and your uncle Zack."
Michael rolled his eyes. "Like we're bad," he wrapped an arm around his twin's shoulder. "Right, Luce?"
Lucy shrugged. "Speak for yourself, Michael." She took his arm off her.
Mike pouted. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Lucy rolled her eyes.
Cody shook his head. "I mean it guys." He picked up Avril, and left with Bailey and Bradley.
Michael turned to his twin. "What's your problem, lately?"
Lucy shrugged. "Don't know. Why do you even care?"
Mike rolled his eyes. "No matter how much I may hate you at times, you're still my sister, and I love you. I'm the only one who can hurt you-"
"You can't hurt me either." Lucy cut him off.
He rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean. Why won't you tell me what's bothering you?"
"It's just between mom and I, maybe dad if I feel I need to tell him."
Michael sighed. "But, I'm your twin. We've told each other everything."
Lucy gave him a look.
"Okay... Everything that doesn't involve our personal lives."
"And this is my personal life, Michael. You don't need to know every little thing about what's going on in my life. You wouldn't even understand."
Anna tugged on Lucy's arm. "Wanna play with me?"
Lucy smiled at her sister. "Not now, okay?"
Anna frowned. "Please?"
Lucy shook her head again.
Annabelle pouted and walked off to her room.
Michael shook his head at Lucy. "You, Lucille, are mean."
"Just because I don't want to play? I don't have the time or energy to play, Michael. If you think I was so mean not to play with her, why don't you play with her?"
"I'm a boy, you wouldn't understand. "
Lucy rolled her eyes. She felt her phone vibrant in her pocket.
She smiled. "Hey, Mike. Keep an eye on Annie and Tommy. i'll be back."
He looked at her. "Why? Grandma's supposed to be here soon. You better not be going out with Stephanie!"
Lucy shook her head. "I'm not. I'll stay in the building anyways, Mike. i'll be back, I promise."
Michael sighed. "Fine."
Lucy nodded her head as she entered the elevator.
When she reached the lobby, she walked out. "Hey!" She smiled as she approached Hunter.
"Hey you. Sleep good last night?"
Lucy nodded. "You?"
"Amazing." Hunter smiled. "My little sister wanted to meet you."
Lucy give a weak smile. "Where is she?"
"In the car. I'll go get her." Hunter ran out.
Lucy took a seat in one of the chairs.
Milkayla saw her. "Lucy!" She sat down next to her. "How are you feeling?"
"Torn." Lucy sighed.
"Why?" Kayla asked, laying a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm just…. Confused. Part of me wishes I never slept with Luke, part of me wished I never dated Luke, part of me wishes I would've fought to keep Luke with me." Lucy paused. "I just wished I knew all of this would've happened. So I can correct it. I did get a new boyfriend, Hunter. But, I feel like I'm just using him to forget Luke."
Kayla sighed. "I'm sorry, Luce. If there was a way for me to tell you what happened. I would."
"I know."
Hunter ran over to Lucy with his sister. "Hey, Lu! I got my sister."
A girl who looked a little like Hunter waved. "Hi! I'm Annaliese, you must be Lucy."
Lucy nodded her head. "Yup. Nice to meet you Annaliese. How old are you?"
"Sixteen."
Lucy smiled. "I remember being sixteen. And fully in love with my ex boyfriend. Now I have mix feelings about him."
Annaliese looked at her. "What happened between you two?"
"Long story." Lucy sighed.
"Oh."
Lucy slowly nodded. "I don't like to think about it."
"Sorry for bringing it up." Ann said.
Lucy gave a small smile. "You're fine."
The group of four heard the elevator open.
Lucy quickly looked away once she saw who it was.
But he saw her.
"Hey, how are they doing?"
Lucy smiled a small on at her ex. "Fine. Besides the aches, sickness, barely being able to fit in any of my clothes."
Luke chuckled. "I was asking about the twins, Lucy."
"I know. I said they were fine."
Luke smiled and nodded before he noticed Hunter. "Who's he?" He asked Lucy.
"Hunter. My new boyfriend."
Luke became more alert. "Since when!?"
"Last night."
"Last night!" Luke yelped. "And you didn't tell me! Lucy! What if he wanted to hurt you!? Or use you?!"
Hunter stepped in. "I would never! My parents taught me how to treat women!"
"Mine did the same!"
"Than why would you believe some girl who wanted you, over your own girlfriend!?" Hunter snipped. "Your own girlfriend who's carrying your kids!"
Luke snorted. "Is it any of your business?"
"No, not really. But it seems like you don't want her, and you just used her." Hunter mumbled.
"If I was just going to use her, I would never have slept with her."
Hunter rolled his eyes. "Whatever. What you did was still wrong."
Luke snorted and rolled his eyes. Ignoring his anger and Hunter, he smiled as he looked at Lucy. "Keep me updated on them, okay?"
Lucy nodded her head. "I will."
Luke nodded his head, he glared at Hunter once more, before he turned to go back up.
Annaliese looked at Lucy. "Sooo. He's your ex?"
Lucy nodded. "Yeah. He was kinda a mistake. Even my dad thought he was. I wasted two years of my life with him. My children aren't mistakes, he was."
Ann nodded. "I'm sorry."
Lucy shrugged. "I just hope you won't make the mistakes I did. I don't want my sisters too, either. I followed in my mother's footsteps, I hope I'm the only one that does."
Ann nodded. "I would feel the same if I had a little sister, or two."
Lucy sighed. "You guys wanna come up? You guys can meet two of my brothers, and one of my sisters."
Hunter shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. We would love too."
Lucy smiled as she got up. "Well, than let's get going."
Lucy got up, and was ready to go up, but a familiar voice stopped her.
"Lucy!"
Lucy turned around to see her grandmother. "Grandma!"
Carey hugged her youngest son's, oldest daughter. "Hey, sweetie. How you feeling?"
Lucy pulled away and shrugged. "I don't know, they're doing fine though."
Carey showed a small smile. "That's good. How about we go ahead and go up? I want to see everyone."
"Well, you're going to have to wait till my parents, and the younger ones come home."
Carey nodded her head. "I'll be fine with that."
Not too much longer since Carey arrived, Cody, Bailey, Bradley, and Avril returned with Eunice and Clyde.
Cody, Clyde, and Michael met Hunter, and had a talked with him about Lucy's current situation, and what will happen to him if he hurts her in any way.
Michael and Annaliese took a liking to each other pretty quickly, much to Hunter's displeasure.
The five adults placed the teens and children's presents under the tree early. Besides the ones from "Santa".
And after that was done, it was time to eat. Hunter and Annaliese left before dinner was done, so it was just the family. Which every one prefered for the moment.
After dinner Bailey and Cody laid their youngest down, telling them that they sooner they're sound and sleep, the sooner they will be able to open the presents.
The two teens, two adults, and three elders watched some of their favorite Christmas movies.
Lucy was the first to fall asleep, on her father's shoulder to be exact.
After Lucy, Bailey's father fell asleep, then her mother.
Carey was the fourth. And after Carey, came Bailey, who fell asleep on Cody's other shoulder.
Cody fell asleep after his wife. Michael stayed up a little longer until he couldn't fight it off any longer.
Michael tried to hide his face with the sudden flash of bright light, and loud noises.
"Wake up, Mikey!" Avril cried to her oldest brother.
Tommy shook his arm. "Get off your butt!"
Annie pulled on his leg. "We got presents!"
Bradley took his other arm. "Yeah! Mommy and daddy said we can't open them without you! Get up!"
Michael groaned as he got up. "Fine! I'm up. Where's everyone else?"
"Kitchen." Tommy said as he let go of his brother and began to run to the kitchen.
"Daddy! Mikey's up! Present time!" Avril told her father as she climbed into his lap.
Cody smiled as he kissed her forehead. "Not yet, Avie. We should like Mikey eat something."
Avril crossed her arms. "Mikey don't need to eat, Daddy."
Michael laughed and shook his head at his youngest sister's comment. "Sorry Avie, but I'm going to eat."
Avril crossed her arms and pouted.
Lucy leaned over and placed a hand on her sister's arm. "It's okay, Avie. I had to deal with him since before he and I were born."
Mike stuck his tongue out at her. "Well, I had to deal with you!"
Bailey looked at her oldest. "Is that why you two were always for active? You were kicking and hitting each other before you were born."
Lucy and Michael looked at each other, before they both looked at their mother. "Yes. But we have our reasons." Lucy said.
Bailey laughed as she shook her head. "I bet you two do."
After Michael had ate, they family gathered in the living room.
The four younger ones happily torn into their presents, while Lucy and Michael weren't that eager.
The four younger ones got toys, and some clothes.
Michael got some clothes, and electronics.
Lucy got the same as Mike, as well as some parenting books and a few baby things.
The younger ones played with their new toys, while Michael and Lucy sat their things to the side, and talked to their grandparents.
Luke sat in his room after he and his family opened presents.
He was happy with what he got, but he felt like something was missing. Something's not right.
He felt empty. He know he shouldn't, he had almost everything he wanted.
He knew what was causing him this feeling. Lucy. Ever since he found out about Hunter and her, he truly knew that he and Lucy were over. He regrets listening to Angela. Honestly, he didn't know what he was doing that day he told Lucy they were over. All, Luke can remember from that day is the look on everyone's face, but Lucy's hurt look killed him the most.
And Jasmanie, he had no clue what he was doing with her. She was the first one to swoop in and comforted him. Besides Angela and Connie.
Luke knew that had he and Lucy had, he'll never have the same with Jasmanie. Or any girl.
Ravi entered the room. "Luke! What are you doing in here? It's till Christmas Day! Come back out."
"I don't feel like it, Ravi."
Ravi sighed, ever since Luke came back up last night, he's been in this mood. "Look, Luke. Who cares that Lucy's dating another guy! You're dating another girl! A girl Lucy hates! She doesn't shut herself any from anyone! And she's the only one that should, not you. You made the choice to believe Angela over Lucy. It's no one's fault but yours. I may have never meet this 'Hunter' dude, but he's stepping up and doing something that you should've. Now, come on. Mom and dad want you."
Luke sighed as he got up. "Fine." He pushed himself past Ravi as he walked out.
Ravi sighed and shook his head. He felt sorry for his brother, but it was his fault. He was the one who jumped onto a train that he didn't know where it was going.
Ravi quickly ran out, back to the living room and sat down next to Emma.
The Ross and Martin/Pickett family enjoyed the rest of the day together.
