Yang

As I worked my hands over Coco's shoulders, I felt the knots in her muscles loosen. She moaned quietly at my touch, her whole body shuddering slightly in what I assumed was pleasure. Neither of us spoke as I continued my massage, but I couldn't help feeling guilty about the pain the brunette was in. I really felt like my failure to make sure she was pacing herself properly was the reason she wasn't feeling too good.

When I was done with her shoulders, I got Coco to lie on her front so I could massage her back. She silently obliged, and I spent a fair amount of time working on the muscles there. I wasn't a professional masseuse by any means, but I knew a bit about muscle groups from Qrow, so I figured I'd be able to help. Everything was running smoothly until the last part of the massage: Coco's thighs. I hesitated, unsure of whether or not I should go there. It seemed like a risky area, given how short our relationship was right now.

"What is it?" the brunette asked. By this point, she was lying on her back, totally relaxed. She had a heavenly look on her face and I figured she was thoroughly enjoying my ministrations. Another thought that sounds like it means something else entirely. Gotta stop that, Yang, I mentally scolded myself.

"You know, it's like... It seems awkward," I replied, gesturing at her thighs.

"No, go for it. Please," she told me. I shrugged and started with the outside. I then moved to the inner part, but only went halfway up. Coco sat up and smiled when I was done. "Much better. Thanks."

"No problem," I replied before kissing her neck.

"You didn't have to though."

"Yeah, but I wanted to," I told her, thinking back to the day I'd won the tournament and she'd given me the pendant I still wore round my neck. "Got a problem with that?"

"No, other than the fact that now I feel like I need to compensate you for it," she said seductively.

"It's like I told you when we went shopping. I'll get some sort of payoff in the future, don't worry," I replied, winking. "But if you want to get started now, I don't think I can look at those gorgeous lips much longer without-"

"Say no more," Coco interrupted. She straddled my legs and forcefully kissed me, parting my lips with her tongue immediately. I was taken aback at forward she was being this time, but I didn't hesitate to kiss back with gusto. She surprised me again by pushing me onto my back and planting several kisses in the crook of my neck. "Good enough?" she asked, sitting up.

"For now," I replied, pulling her face back down towards mine and kissing her again, more gently this time. I slipped my tongue into her mouth, taking the time to explore the warm cavern rather than fighting for dominance for once. Growing bored of being gentle, I soon took Coco's bottom lip between both of mine and sucked on it, before biting down a little. She moaned in frustration when I pulled back. "Is this all you want to do?" I asked.

"I'm okay with doing this all day," she replied, staring at me with lust in her eyes. "But we could do something else."

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure. Any in particular?"

"Hell if I know."

"Of course you don't."

"What do you mean, 'of course I don't'?" I asked.

"You often suggest stuff without thinking it all the way through," she explained. "You're like, 'hey, let's hang out', then we meet up and you have no idea what to do."

"Worked out for you today though, didn't it?"

"I'm not denying that. I'm just saying."

"Okay, well, I downloaded the new X-Ray and Vav movie the other day but haven't had time to watch it. You down?"

"Remind me what those guys are about?"

"Two dumbass 'superheroes'," I started, making air quotes as I got to the "superheroes" part. "They try to save the city or help the people in it, but usually their hobo friend Rusty or their genius friend Hilda ends up doing everything. First one was pretty funny."

"Sounds good," Coco told me, smiling as she imagined the stuff the film's protagonists might get up to. I opened my laptop and plugged it into the TV Blake and I had pooled our money to buy halfway through our first semester as roommates. I then started the movie before sitting back down on my bed with Coco. Meanwhile, she'd propped some pillows up against the wall that we could lean on comfortable. During the opening logos of the movie, properly titled X-Ray and Vav: The Rise of Mogar, Coco snuggled up to me, resting her head on my shoulder. I wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close, as she took my free hand in hers.

We stayed in that position for the duration of the movie. It told the story of self-proclaimed parkour master X-Ray and cautious Brit Vav going about their usual failing-to-do-things-properly shenanigans as Hilda gave them new gadgets to try. It was business as usual for the group until a dude named Mogar decided to try to take over the city. As a highly skilled warrior, he proved to be X-Ray and Vav's greatest challenge to date. After some hilarious failures at spoiling Mogar's plan, as well as some strange vocabulary from Vav, the heroes managed to bring him down in a cataclysmic final showdown.

As the credits started rolling, I was about to get up to unplug and turn off my laptop when I felt Coco's head droop down onto my chest. I gently nudged her a couple of times and got no response. It was only when her head slipped even further down, coming to rest in my lap, that it realised what had happened. The girl had gone and fallen asleep on me. Not seeing a problem with this, I started slowly tracing circles with my thumb on the back of her hand while my other hand gently rubbed her side.

Neither of us moved for a long time. Eventually, the pattering of rain on the window told me the weather had taken a turn for the worse and I figured Blake would be home soon. I then faced a decision. I could let Coco sleep and have my roommate give me grief, albeit in the form of friendly banter, or I could rouse her from her slumber. Given how peaceful the brunette looked as she slept, I decided to go with the first one. Sure enough, Blake soon entered the room. I immediately made a shushing gesture. She raised an eyebrow, but said nothing as she sat on her bed and started reading the book she'd brought with her. Due to the lack of anything on the cover, I figured it was an...adult novel, for want of a better term, but the Faunus had tried to make it incognito. Nice try, Blake, I thought. But that only makes it more suspicious.

A few minutes later, my sleeping girlfriend finally began to stir. She sat up and yawned loudly, stretching as she did so. She then looked around, blinking confusedly as though wondering where she was.

"Did I... Was I...?" she asked.

"Asleep? Yes," I replied.

"How long?"

"Maybe an hour?" Truthfully, I had no idea.

"I'm sorry, but your massage got me so relaxed, and you're really warm and comfortable, and I-"

"Hey, it's fine," I interrupted. I noticed Blake raise an eyebrow when she heard Coco mention the massage, but she didn't say anything.

"Okay," Coco replied, kissing my cheek.

"Hey, you remember Blake, right?" I asked.

"Wha- oh, hi Blake!" she exclaimed. "Sorry, I didn't realise you'd come back."

"Don't worry about it. How are you?"

"I'm good, you?"

"Not bad. Bit annoyed about the weather though. I like reading outside," Blake answered wistfully. "Anyway, you keeping this one out of trouble?" she asked, gesturing at me.

"Hehe... Not exactly," Coco told her, probably thinking back to our ill-fated shopping trip.

"Oh right, the store hold-up?"

"Yeah. That was a thing," I replied. "I totally nailed it though. Got some sweet free shades, too."

"It's not exactly 'nailing it' when you get hit that often," Coco reminded me.

"Shhh," I told her.

"Oh, Yang, I heard what happened with Cardin earlier. I'm impressed," Blake said. In an undertone, she added, "I wish I could've seen it."

"Coco probably recorded the whole thing," I replied as the brunette looked at me strangely. "She gets turned on watching me fight."

"I do not!" she replied, blushing furiously.

"Ignore her," Blake advised. "She can be a cheeky bitch sometimes."

"Hey!" I protested.

"Hate to tell you this, honey, but you can," Coco told me. "It's not a bad thing though."

"Whatever," I said, knowing full well but not wanting to admit that they were both right.

"Anyway, I have an assignment I really need to work on. I've been putting it off so I could do… more interesting things," the brunette announced. "See you soon, kay?"

"Sure. Bye," I replied, planting a quick kiss on her lips.

"Nice seeing you, Blake," she called as she left. Blake merely waved in response, then looked at me mischievously.

"What?" I asked warily.

"Massage?"

"Yeah, she was in pain because of last night," I explained.

"Dare I ask?" It was only then that I realised Blake didn't know that Coco had started learning Wing Chun the night before. I laughed at the thought of where the cat girl's mind might have been going. "Something funny, Xiao Long?" she demanded, also smiling.

"She was doing kung fu with me. Perfectly innocent. She just worked too hard and had muscle pain today."

"Suuuure," Blake teased.

"It's true!"

"I know, I'm messing with you."

I thought back to when Blake and I had first met. Back then, she'd barely spoken at all, except to ask me to turn my music down or whatever. Now here she was, making jokes and being annoying, like a normal person. She'd even taken to going without her bow while at home ever since she'd realised I didn't give a damn that she was a Faunus. I'd found out by accident; I'd been visiting Ruby and our parents for the weekend and gotten back earlier than expected. When I walked in, the bow was off and I was surprised to see the ears. Blake immediately hid under her covers and I soon realised she was crying. She was a wreck for a while, but I calmly assured her that I didn't care and she gradually got better. Really, the only thing that had changed between us since the discovery was that our friendly banter now contained more cat-related stuff. To her credit, she took it all in good stride.

As the rain continued to fall outside, I just decided to surf the web until I went to bed.

A/N: Hello lovelies. I'm back. I'm also currently (at the time of writing. Probably not when you read this) annoyed at UPS for reasons I can't be bothered getting into. Let's just say that as far as I can work out, they're like the British airports of the postal service world, shutting down after a few centimetres of snow. Ironic given that I'm in the south of Quebec and so is the parcel they were supposed to bring me today. Anyway, that's not important. It's just stuff to waste time I could spend writing (or actually working in maths class), so whatever. Leave a review, follow/favourite if you want , the usual stuff. Thanks for reading.
