The air still crackling around him, Nick banged on Adalind's door. It was opened by a man he knew to be security detail.
Another man who bled Royalty sat at a small table nearby with a cup of tea, staring impassively at Nick as he came through the door. His expression didn't change as Nick knocked the doorman out.
"Where's Adalind?" Nick didn't care who this man was, Royal or not.
Viktor smiled. "Hello, Mr Burkhardt."
Nick snarled, tired of the games. As he'd done with Sean, he grabbed the prince by his jacket, making him spill his tea.
Viktor appeared unfazed. "Now really, do you expect to get anywhere acting like that?"
In response, Nick grabbed him by the throat. "I'm done playing games, Your Highness," he sneered. "Where. Is. Adalind?"
A gasp of horror had him spinning around, just in time to see Adalind fleeing out the door in a panic.
Throwing Viktor to the floor, Nick chased after her, swiping a small container off a nearby table as he went; she ran out of ground inside the boarders of a nearby park.
Nick swore at her as he tackled her from behind and was satisfied with the "oomph!" she let out as she hit the ground.
Adalind was terrified; held tight and unable to break free no matter how much she struggled, she closed her eyes and waited for death, barely breathing.
Nick was too close. His head buzzed like he was drunk, and besides the obviously expensive perfume Adalind was wearing, he could smell her blood. The Grimm in him ached for it.
Keeping the struggling witch pinned, he produced the container and his pocketknife. Fearful, Adalind froze.
"Nick, w-what are you doing with that?"
Grinning cruelly at her, he pulled up the sleeve of his jacket and cut along his arm and collected his blood in the container before forcing it down her throat.
Adalind screamed under him and as her Hexenbiest half died for the second time, he made a similar cut in her arm before collecting and mixing the blood with the remainder of his own.
It went from red to black to silver. Satisfied, the Grimm vanished from Nick's eyes and he slowly let Adalind up.
"You bastard!" She shrieked at him, trying to hit him, but he dodged.
Nick made to leave. "If I ever hear that you're trying to become a Hexenbiest again, I won't hesitate kill you."
The lethal promise had Adalind staring after him as he left, wondering if she would ever be able to get her powers back.
